Life Rots, Rot Lives. Gnolls with an affinity for magic are few and far between. Even Yeenoghu's chosen spellcasters often prefer to get their teeth stuck into a nice juicy artery, rather than hang back like most mages.

Gnolls connect to magic through nature, though from their nature they pull rot, disease and blight. They seek to infest, overwhelm and consume in the name of the Lord of Savagery.

Rampage. When the gnoll reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a spell or melee attack on its turn, the gnoll can take a bonus action to move up to half its speed and make a bite attack.

Spellcasting. The gnoll is a 1st-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). The gnoll has the following druid spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): infestation, poison spray, primal
   savagery

1st level (3 slots): absorb elements, earth tremor,
   snare

Actions

Multiattack. The gnoll makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its quarterstaff.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage.

Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d6 - 1) bludgeoning damage, or 3 (1d8 - 1) bludgeoning damage if used with two hands.
