Breeding, Pregnancy, and Sex in D&D

It has finally happened. The party was in a tavern, and someone managed to succesfully seduce a barmaid. Now all sorts of uncomfortable questions have been brought up, and you're not sure how to answer them. Some DM's may be tempted to ignore this curiosity, but, if you find yourself willing to entertain these questions, then this guide is for you.

Breeding:

Almost all races can breed with each other, but none of these couplings will result in a new race. In the world of Klevoridel, the mother almost always gives birth to children of her own race, regardless of the father.

However, in any coupling that involves different races, the father's physical traits often carry over to the child, though this causes no mechanical difference. For instance, a Half-Orc born of an Orc and a halfling might be shorter, stouter, and have a set of sideburns. Or, a human with a tabaxi father might have fur instead of hair, and cat-like ears.

Mixed Races

The exception to these rules is when a coupling would result in a mixed breed, or a mixed breed is involved in the coupling.

When your racial combination could result in a mixed breed, it always will.

If any race couples with a Celestial, Elemental, Elf, Fiend, or Orc, they will give birth to one of the following mixed children:

Race Ancestry
Aasimar Celestial
Genasi Elemental
Half-Elf Elf
Half-Orc Orc
Tiefling Fiend

When coupling with a mixed race, there is always a 50% chance that their child will also be a mixed race, regardless of which parent is mixed.

Pregnancy:

Intercourse between two fertile indivudals can always result in pregnancy. However, the race of the potential parents largely effects the likelyhood of pregnancy.

After coupling, the mother willr roll 1d20 + her Constitution Modifier to determine if she will become preganant. Before rolling, check the following tables to see how the race of the parents might change the roll.

Race of Mother Pregnancy DC
Goblin, Bugbear, Kenku, Aarakocra, Kobold DC 12
Gnome, Dwarf, Elf DC 18
All Other Races DC 15
Race of Parents Modifier
Same Race None
Either Parent is Mixed None
Different Race, Neither Parent is Mixed Disadvantage

Contraceptives

Those wanting to have sex without the risk of a child can use some sort of contraceptive. Different contraceptives have different degrees of effectiveness, but always rely on a percentile roll. If the roll is higher than the effective percentage of the contraceptive, the mother must roll to become pregnant as normal.

  • A Lambskin (1 sp) has a 70% chance of preventing a pregnancy check. The lambskin is destroyed if it cannot prevent the check.
  • Coitus Interruptus has a 50% chance of preventing a pregnancy check.
  • Contraceptive Herbs (5 gp) have a 70% chance of preventing a pregnancy check, and is in effect for 30 days

Sex:

To avoid overly awkard situations at the table, the rules of intercourse have been simplified to allow for a simple "fade to black" encoutner. However, players often want to know how well they gave (or recieved) in the sack, so the following rules have been made.

After a night of coupling, the player may roll an ability check using one of the following: Constitution, Dexterity, or Strength. If a player is proficient in Athletics, Acrobatics, Slieght of Hand, or Performance, they may add their proficiency modifier to the roll.

If your partner is charmed, if you are a size larger than the partner,or either partner has a penis size above 7" (or 5" when coupling with a small race), the roll is made with advantage.

If either partner's penis size is below 5" (or 3" when coupling with a small race), the roll is made with disadvantage.

Sexual Performance
d20 Performance
1 or lower Awful
2-7 Poor
8-12 Good
13-19 Great
20 or higher Amazing

Penis Size

When creating a character, a player can choose to roll on the following table to determine the size of their penis.

d100 Inches
1-5 1"
6-10 2"
11-15 3"
16-25 4"
26-40 5"
41-60 6"
61-75 7"
76-85 8"
86-90 9"
91-95 10"
96-100 11"

Heroic Variant:

  • Roll 2d100 and take the higher number.
  • Any roll below 41 counts as a 41.

After rolling the base size, a player should add (or subtract) the modifier appropriate to their race as shown on the table below. Your racial modifier cannot bring your penis size below 1".

Modifiers
Race Modifier
Gnomes, Halflings, Kobolds, Goblins -2"
Aarakocra, Kenku, Tabaxi -1"
Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Half Elves, Genasi, Hobgoblin, Triton, Yuan-Ti +0"
Aasimar, Tiefling, Dragonborn, Lizardfolk +1"
Goliath, Half Orc, Orc, Bugbear, Firbolg +2"

Breast Size

When creating a character, a player can choose to roll on the following table to determine the size of their breasts.

d100 Cup Size
1-10 AA
11-20 A
21-40 B
41-60 C
71-80 D
81-90 DD
91-100 F+

Heroic Variant:

  • Roll 2d100 and take the higher number.
  • Any Roll Below 41 counts as 41.

After rolling the base size, a player should add (or subtract) the modifier appropriate to their race as shown on the table below. Your racial modifier cannot bring your size below AA.

In this instance, cup size is relative to the size of the creature, so if a Goliath and a Halfling both have a D cup, the breasts would look similar proportionally, but would be very different in actual size.
