Kryn Heavy Armor
Kryn soldiers are often recognized by their chitinous armor that can fill their enemies with dread with the sounds they make as they charge into battle. Often leather, a heavier, scale-like variant using the same technique can sometimes also be found in Xhorhas.

Made from a light metal refined through a process known only to Xhorhassian blacksmiths, this scale mail-like armor combines the design of the common, chitinous leather armor popular with the agile Xhorhas warriors with the efficacy and armor protection of standard chain mail.
Intimidating Charge. While wearing the armor, when charging into battle, the wind rushing through holes in the armor create an unnerving, insect-like clacking which can intimidate and frighten the wearer's opponents. Anyone within a 120ft. radius of a creature wearing the armor while they are taking a dash action must make a Wisdom saving throw against a creature's Strength (Intimidation) check. On a failure, the affected creature makes their next attack against the armor-wearing creature with disadvantage and the armor-wearer gains advantage against any affected creature.
Variable Stealth. Unlike other heavy armors, Kryn Heavy Armor is made specifically with stealth in mind. Wearers do not suffer disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks unless they are using the Intimidating Charge ability.
