Oath of Cinder

Yes, indeed. It is called Lothric, where the transitory lands of the Lords of Cinder converge. In venturing north, the pilgrims discover the truth of the old words: "The fire fades and the lords go without thrones." When the link of the fire is threatened, the bell tolls, unearthing the old Lords of Cinders from their graves... Aldrich, Saint of the Deep... Farron's Undead Legion, the Abyss Watchers... And the reclusive lord of the Profaned Capital, Yhorm the Giant... Only, in truth... the Lords will abandon their thrones... And the Unkindled will rise. Nameless, accursed Undead, unfit even to be cinder. And so it is, that ash seeketh embers.

Cycle

Life is like a fire, it has cycles. Life has a spark but it can also fade into ashes.

Persistance

Just like a cycle, a paladin of this Oath never gives up.

Everyone has an outcome, there is no changing what true fate a person has. It is your duty to inspire hope in those with a destiny.

Praise

Once a day you must praise the sun. Even if the sun is not visible, you must attempt. This process takes five minutes.

Bonus Cantrip

Upon choosing this Oath at 3rd level you gain access to the "Create Bonfire" cantrip with Charisma as your spellcasting modifier.

Channel Divinity

Ashes to Ashes

As an action, using your channel divinity, you can point at a space you can see within 150 feet and teleport to that spot.

Using your channel divinity, as an bonus action you can ignite a weapon in flames, causing it to deal an extra 1d8 fire damage for the next 1 minute.

Aura of Embers

Starting at 7th level, you constantly emanate a radiant aura of embers while you’re not incapacitated. The aura extends 10 feet from you in every direction.

  • You and allies that start their turn within 10 feet of you, or enter the area for the first time on their turn, gain a number of temporary hit-points equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum one).

At 18th level this aura extends to 30 feet.

Hollowing

Starting at the 15th level, when you are reduced to 0 hit-points and not killed outright, you may use your reaction to instead be dropped to 1 hit-point at the cost of two levels of exhaustion.

Soul of Cinder

Upon reaching the 20th level, you can use an action to transform into a soul of cinder. This form will last for a minute

  • You gain advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks and Charisma saving throws.
  • You can cast Flame Strike as a bonus action without expending a spell slot

Once you use this feature you cannot do so again until after a long rest
