Edge Mask Example

This example shows how you can use offset to move the mask lower down the page, and then add width:100% to make the image fill the full page width. bottom:0cm,left:0cm places the image in the bottom-left corner of the page.

Note that you can change between different mask styles by changing the number at the end of imageMaskEdge.

Corner Mask Example

This example shows how you can also use height instead of width to size your image. You can also use top:0cm,left:-12cm to place the image along the top edge, and hanging 12cm off the left edge.

Image Revealer

You can add the keyword revealImage to the mask to make it semi-transparent, which will help show where your image is positioned and where the mask is.

You can also rotate the mask as you please (in degrees) using the --rotation option

Image Fixed

Thanks to the revealImage keyword, I could see that my image needed to be taller, so I set the height to 100% to fill the full page height. I also shifted the image 5cm off the left edge to bring the house more into view. I can now remove the revealImage block to see the final product.

Multiple Masks

You can even have multiple image masks on the same page, and overlapping! By using the exact same image in the same position on the first two masks, they combine into one larger mask in the shape of a 7.

The third mask on the bottom left also cleanly blends and overlaps to create a neat collage effect of different images.
