Divine Domain - Chromatic Domain

Worship of Tiamat goes back milennia, both among dragons and the mortal races. Her wrath is swift, her power terrible, and her gifts enviable. As goddess of chromatic dragons she exists as a stark counterpart to Bahamut and his knights, and Clerics who are blessed by Tiamat often end up going toe-to-toe with them in the same way, trading blows in the thick of the fight.

Using the power of their Queen to unleash devastating elemental bursts, tear their foes asunder with magical manifestations of the multiheaded Queen's maws, and freeze even the most stalwart foes in fear of you and your goddess.

Bonus Proficiency

At 1st level, you gain proficiency with heavy armour, the Draconic language, and either the Deception or Intimidation skill.

Maw of Tiamat

Many know Tiamat as the five-headed dragonqueen, and those who are blessed by her inherit a portion of this power. You gain the use of the Maw of Tiamat as a natural weapon with a reach of 5'. When you use this as part of the Attack action, you manifest one of Tiamat's 5 heads to bite down upon your foe as a melee spell attack. It deals 1d4 in piercing damage, and also deals an additional 1d4 + your wisdom modifier in energy damage. Each time you use the Maw of Tiamat you can choose a different energy type from the following list: acid, cold, fire, poison, and lightning.

You do not apply your strength modifier to the piercing damage. At 8th level the piercing damage becomes magical for the purposes of damage resistance and immunities.

Channel Divinity: Pentaspell

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to unleas Tiamat's fury. As a bonus action, you can cast one of the following cantrips: Acid Blast, Firebolt, Frostbite, Lightning Lure, Poison Spray, even if they are not normally known by you.

When you reach 5th, 8th, 11th, and 14th levels in this class you can cast another cantrip as part of the same bonus action, so long as you do not cast two of the same cantrip at once. They are cast in whatever order you choose, and can be targeted against different creatures if you wish.

Chromatic Strength

At 6th level Tiamat's multiminded strength aids both your mind and your endurance. Your hit point maximum increases by an amount equal to your cleric level. Whenever you gain a cleric level thereafter, your hit point maximum increases by an additional 1 hit point.

In addition, you add half your Wisdom modifier (rounded up) to Concentration checks.

Divine Strike

At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 damage of the same type dealt by the weapon to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.

If used with your Maw of Tiamat, you choose which of the two damage types you deal extra of - piercing or energy.

Divine Presence

At 17th level Tiamat imbues you with a portion of her frightening presence. Whenever you strike a creature with either your Maw of Tiamat or one of your Pentaspell cantrips, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be Frightened of you for 24 hours. They may make a new saving throw at the end of each of their subsequent turns to end the effect early. Once they have successfully saved against this effect, they cannot be affected by it for the next 24 hours.

If the creature is Immune to Frightened condition they are still shaken by the divine power and have disadvantage on the next Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma saving throw that they make.

In addition, you gain immunity to the Frightened condition.
