Mistweavers are unique among those who heal. The energies they channel are mysterious, oftentimes misunderstood by commoners—who rarely travel beyond the borders of their homelands—as some form of folk medicine. But those who weave the mists wield the power of life’s essence, using a mixture of preventative and restorative spells to mend their allies’ wounds. The inner tranquility that guides mistweavers allows them to sustain their healing for long periods of time, and gives them the strength to care for multiple injured allies. -Blizzard Entertainment


Defining Class Feature

Chosen Path

Mistweavers are dedicated to their path with dogged resilience. For them, there is no higher calling than that of restoring the mind and body to a place of balance and health, both within their communities and in combat. Their skill allows them to adapt to most situations and to make hard choices.

Gain +3 Healing, +4 Will Save, and +2 Spell Attack and Spell Defense. Additionally, whenever you use a Toolkit ability, you may roll Healing for free to mend a target of your choosing.

Class Toolkits

Select three Toolkits from the following pages to add to your character's abilities on your character sheet. You receive your Toolkits (Rank 1) at Level 1, 2, and 3. These Toolkits upgrade to Rank 2 upon reaching Level 4.

If you wish to change your Toolkit selection, you must undergo an RP Quest in order to enact this change. Speak to an Officer or the Chieftain in order to facilitate this Quest.

Refreshing Breeze [Active]

Spell Description:

The air becomes clean and calming as a Mistweaver releases a pleasing smell on a thin mist and swirls the air around them. The calming air fills them with power and strength allowing them to heal even more.

Spell Effect at Rank 1:

  • Cast Time: 2 Turns (Channeled)
  • Charges: 1

Refreshing Breeze is a two turn channel spell that renews you, healing you for 2 HP. When the channel is complete, you may roll 2 Healing checks on any target each turn for 2 turns.

Spell Effect at Rank 2:

  • Cast Time: 1 Turn (Channeled)
  • Charges: 1

Refreshing Breeze is a one turn channel spell that renews you, healing you for 3 HP. When the channel is complete, you may roll 2 Healing checks on any target each turn for 3 turns.


Healing Sphere [Active]

Spell Description:

Powerful Mistweavers can create condensed balls of Chi energy that heal anyone that passes through them. Though in emergency situations these can be conjured in battle that is very taxing. Instead many choose to create such energy spheres when they are not in combat and use them as needed.

Spell Effect at Rank 1:

  • Charges: 2

Create 2 Healing Spheres of swirling mist. These fragile items are roughly the size of a large marble but when crushed in the hand they release a powerful heal of 5 HP. These can be handed out at any time but can also be tossed with a Dexterity Roll 17 or higher to another player.

Spell Effect at Rank 2:

  • Charges: 3

Create 3 Healing Spheres of swirling mist. These fragile items are roughly the size of a large marble but when crushed in the hand they release a powerful heal of 5 HP. These can be handed out at any time but can also be tossed with a Dexterity Roll 13 or higher to another player.

Jade Serpent's Breath [Active]

Spell Description:

The power of the Jade Serpent is both offensive and restorative. Yu'lon is a great serpent of immense power in the ways of Mistweaving. Mistweavers fight and heal with her strength and serenity. Some Mistweavers have attuned themselves so well with her power that they can breathe with her breath over their enemies and allies.

Spell Effect at Rank 1:

  • Charges: 1

An AOE spell that casts mistfire over the area in front of you that damages up to three targets for 2 damage each and heals any friendly target for 2 HP each.

Spell Effect at Rank 2:

  • Charges: 1

An AOE spell that casts mistfire over the area in front of you that damages up to three targets for 3 damage each and Stuns them for 1 round. It also heals any friendly target for 3 HP each.


Song of Chi-Ji [Active]

Spell Description:

Chi-Ji is just as important to a Mistweaver as Yu'lon. Chi-Ji teaches patience and hope in the face of great adversity. When used against enemies, this calms a hating heart and softens it towards the Mistweaver. When used to inspire allies, it quells their doubts and stabilizes their raging emotions. Battles can be won or lost on the wings of Chi-Ji's followers.

Spell Effect at Rank 1:

  • Duration: 1 Turn (Stun), 2 Turns (Disadavantage)
  • Charges: 1

Call forth a faintly musical cloud of mist that uses powerful spirit magic to subdue and calm targets caught in its path. The cloud travels to a target of your choosing and Stuns everyone in its path for 1 turn. When these targets awaken, their attacks are made with Disadvantage for 2 turns and they are far less likely to hit you. Allies are unaffected.

Spell Effect at Rank 2:

  • Duration: 1 Turn (Stun), 4 Turns (Disadavantage)
  • Charges: 1

Call forth a faintly musical cloud of mist that uses powerful spirit magic to subdue and calm targets caught in its path. The cloud travels to a target of your choosing and Stuns everyone in its path for 1 turn. When these targets awaken, their attacks are made with Disadvantage for 4 turns and they are far less likely to hit you. If allies are caught in the cloud, they are cleansed of any Fears, Stuns, and intense emotions afflicting them.

Diffuse Magic [Passive]

Spell Description:

Chi is a powerful magical force that can be used to defend as much as it can be used to heal. Some Mistweavers have developed ways to block harmful magic before it even has a chance to touch them.

Spell Effect at Rank 1:

  • Charges: Passive

A coil of mist surrounds you when you enter combat, deflecting and potentially reflecting spells back at your attackers. When you are attacked with a Spell Attack, you may roll Spell Defense against it. If your roll beats the attacker's roll, the spell is diffused harmlessly. If you Critically Succeed against their roll, the spell is reflected back to the attacker.

Spell Effect at Rank 2:

  • Duration: 3 Turns
  • Charges: Passive (Self), 1 (Ally)

A coil of mist surrounds you when you enter combat, deflecting and potentially reflecting spells back at your attackers. When you are attacked with a Spell Attack, you may roll Spell Defense against it. If your roll beats the attacker's roll, the spell is diffused harmlessly. If you Critically Succeed against their roll, the spell is reflected back to the attacker. Once per encounter, you may shift your mist coil to an ally of your choice. That ally is protected by your Diffuse Magic for 3 turns, and you roll to defend them with your Spell Defense. Diffusing Magic for an ally follows the same rules as Rank 1.
