Divine Domain - Creation Domain

For a god, shaping reality is their standard mode. Many gods dedicate themselves to doing so in abstract ways - through war, through light, through death. But some take it rather more literally, and focus their energies on shaping the weave and the material to form creatures themselves. It's suggested that such primordial forces were that which originated the mortal races of today, though few gods are willing to give a straight answer one way or the other.

Nevertheless a cleric dedicated to a deity who grants the creation domain finds themselves able to make use of these shaping magics, forming them together to create wonders. Their links to these creatures strengthen over time, with their divinity's focus granting them greater flexibility and connection to their creations, even going so far as to share their strength and take a portion of the creation magics into themselves at their highest point.

Creator

At 1st level you gain proficiency in one artisan's tools of your choice. You also add both Mending and Mold Earth to the list of cantrips you know.

Create Minor Beast

Your mastery of conjuration magics has only just begun. At 1st level you learn how to craft the magic together into a small animal which takes the form of a CR0 beast of your choice, though its type is Fey, Celestial, or Fiend instead of Beast. You summon this creature as an action. The created creature is friendly to you and obeys any command you give it (at no action cost to you), moving on your turn, though it cannot Attack or use the Help action. The creature vanishes if it ever moves (willingly or otherwise) more than 30' away from you.

You may only have one creature created at a time with this feature to start with, but can call one additional minor beast simultaneously when you reach 5th, 11th, and 17th level in this class.

Domain Spells

Cleric Level Spells
1st Create or Destroy Water, Find Familiar
3rd Cloud of Daggers, Flock of Familiars
5th Create Food and Water, Phantom Steed
7th Guardian of Faith, Private Sanctum
9th Creation, Insect Plague

In addition, you may choose to add one of following spells to your Cleric Spell List: Summon Beast, Summon Fey, Summon Shadowspawn, Summon Undead, Summon Aberration, Summmon Elemental, Summon Construct, Summon Fiend, Summon Draconic Spirit. This chosen spell is not automatically prepared as other domain spells are. Whenever you gain a level in this class, you may change which spell you added to your spell list.

Channel Divinity: Resilient Conjuration

From 2nd level whenever you cast a Conjuration-school Cleric spell you may expend a use of your Channel Divinity. When you do so, you automatically pass any Concentration saving throws as a result of damage to maintain the spell. If you would lose the spell due to suffering from a Condition, you instead roll a Concentration saving throw of DC10+spell level to maintain it at the end of each turn you are affected by the Condition - with the exception of dying, which as normal ends the spell instantly.

Channel Divinity: Conjure Minor Spirit

From 2nd level as a reaction when a creature within 60ft makes an attack roll you can use your Channel Divinity to create a small spirit to bother the attacker and throw off their strike. Roll a d12 and subtract this number from their attack rolls that turn.

Boon of the Creator

From 6th level whenever you cast a Conjuration-school Cleric spell, it is automatically treated as being cast from a spell slot one level higher than the slot you expended, up to your current maximum spell level. In addition, any creatures summoned by your Conjuration spells deal magical damage for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunities.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Master Creator

Your mastery over creation magics allows you to boost your summoned creatures even further from 17th level. While you have a creature summoned via a Summon spell, you can grant it Resistance to one damage type of your choice. In addition, you gain any of its damage resistances, immunities, and condition immunities.
