DnD 5e, Druid subclass by Kjyde

Circle of the Dragon

The druids of the Circle of the Dragon have long since learned to use the raw, primal magic of nature in new, innovative ways. By utilizing it as a catalyst, one can activate a once dormant draconic bloodline, shaping their future to one more fitting their own visions. The use of Primal magic in this way shapes the druid, causing their body and mind to slowly evolve and acquire a resemblance to their draconic predecessors. Power will often corrupt mortal flesh not meant to contain it, absolute power more so than anything. Will the raging chaos be too much for the mortal vessel to contain, or will it be collected and grow like a true dragon hoard?

Blood of the Ancients

Starting when you join this circle at 2nd level, parts of your skin become covered by a thin sheen of dragon-like scales. When you aren't wearing armor, your AC equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.

Additionally, you learn to speak, read and write Draconic if you don't already know it.

Draconic combat form

Additionally at 2nd level you can expend one use of your Wild Shape to transform into a dragon from the Draconic origin table, choosing each time you transform. Furthermore, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape as an action or a bonus action.

Based on your level in this subclass, you gain the ability to assume the form of a more powerful dragon. The templates for the different dragon forms are described at the end of this subclass. All dragon forms have wings and you gain the ability to use them after taking 8 levels of druid in this subclass.

After taking 4 levels in this subclass, while you are transformed by Wild Shape into a dragon, you gain the ability to use Dragon Breath. After taking 8 levels in this subclass, you may instead option to use the Dragon Spell Breath ability while transformed as a dragon.

1

Dragon Breath

You can use an action to expend one spell slot to exhale a breath attack. The damage type, breath shape and breath save are based on your chosen dragon, as shown in the Draconic origin table. Each creature caught in the area must make a saving throw against your druid spell save DC. On a failed save the target will take damage of that damage type equal to 2d6 per spell slot level spent. On a successful save they take half damage. Objects in the area that aren’t being worn or carried may be damaged by this ability if appropriate.

After having used this breath ability, you regain the ability to use it again on subsequent turns after having rolled a natural 5 or 6 on a 1d6. You roll the d6 at the start of your turn.

Line: 5 feet wide line with a length of 20 feet + 10 feet per spell slot level, for the shape of their breath.

Cone: Base size of 10 feet + 5 feet per spell slot level, for the shape of their breath.

Dragon Spell Breath

Using a 3rd lvl spell slot or higher, you may instead cast a spell instead of resolving the normal damage. Which spell you may cast, is determined by your current dragon form, as shown in the Draconic origin table. If the spell being replicated would normally require a higher level spell slot, you may still use this ability while treating the spell as being cast at its lowest level. You resolve the spell as if it had been normally cast using the spell slot expended, except, every creature, friend or foe, are equally affected by this ability if caught within its area of effect. Breath shape and size is calculated as if it had been cast as a normal Dragon Breath.

Primal Strike

Starting at 6th level, your attacks in dragon form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Young Dragon Form

At 10th level, you can expend two uses of Wild Shape at the same time to transform into a Young Dragon Form, using the template at the end of this subclass.

Strength of Legends

At 14th level, you gain the ability to sprout a pair of dragon wings from the back of your true form, gaining a flying speed equal to your current speed. You can create these wings as a bonus action on your turn. They last until you dismiss them as a bonus action on your turn.

You can't manifest your wings while wearing armor unless the armor is made to accommodate them, and clothing not made to accommodate your wings might be destroyed when you manifest them.

Adult Dragon Form

At 20th level, you can Wild Shape into an Adult Dragon Form, using the template at the end of this subclass.
