What really caused the end of the world?

Was it hubris? Unfettered ambition? Maybe it was something as simple as equine error, tampering with forces far beyond their own understanding. Whatever the case may be, it happened, and here we are now- The City, once a sprawling metropolis, now lies in ruin. Harmony and The Dominion clash like titans for dominance over The Pyramid, the source of all this senseless destruction. Beggars and thieves squabble over scraps in The Outer Ring, dreaming of an uncertain tomorrow.

Nobody knows how this really happened, or why, but one thing is for certain: we must survive. If not for ourselves or those scant few souls close to us, then for answers- answers that only The Pyramid can provide.

The Conflict

Two centuries have passed, and The Pyramid yet remains unclaimed. Harmony and The Dominion still to this day tear each other apart to get a whiff of what hides within, but they'll never reach it, not like this.
