Poros

Harking from the Freljiord, Poros are indestructible balls of love. Beings of pure adorableness and innocence, the have spread across the land adapting to their enviroment. No one knows what they want or how they came to be, but we are all glad they are here.

Unkillable Nature. When it was first discovered poros could not die, heartless villans tried using them to set of deadly traps. While the poros bounced back, they fled off to some pocket demension instead of returning. The practice has been wiped out due to its cruelty and inefficiency.

Friend to All. A poros job is to love, and as such they tend to follow those around that have a good heart. Or anyone with a heart. Even if you don't have one they will still try to cuddle you. This makes them the ideal companions, and even some adventurers will take them on has familiars. See the Variant: Familiar rule later in this section for who to make one a familiar.

Lover of Snax. A poro's favorite thing is to eat a poro snax, which tend to be created with chicken and fresh herbs, sprinkled with snow. When fed by the legendary hero Bruam, a poro's mustache turns black to match. When fed with one, it runs around as magical hearts float into the air.

Warm Kisses. In order to survive the harsh cold of the Freljiord, poros are very warm internally and often stick out their tongues. As such, they have very warm kisses (which they often give out).

Bilgewater Poro

These poros findthemselves able to amass a horde beaten only by a (small) dragon, and find a knack for gunpowder fit for dwarves. Despite racking up bounties, they never seen to be caught as their charm is too great.

Commander Poro

Also known as the Heart of the Fluft, these poros wield magical swords that can summon all poros in a half-mile radius into a large fluft, and are often seen in battle along with those good of heart to defend their homes. They tend to be one of the smarter poros, and have spiked plates on their horns.

Lost throughout the ages, this ancient poro hits hard, albiet slowly and without reason.

Variant: Poro Familiar

Those looking for a familiar are in luck, as every poro is more than willing to join an adventurer with a good heart. If an adventurer decided they want to bond with a poro and make them their familiar, the poro gains the following trait provided they have given the poro a poro snax at least once.

Familiar. The poro can serve another willing creature as a familiar, forming a telepathic bond with its master. While the two are bonded, the master can sense was the poro senses when they are within one mile of each other. If the master tries to abuse the poro or stops loving the poro, it will leave the master's service and immediately terminate the bond.
