Deus Omnibus

When the Hollow finally absorbed the Old Universe, the Convergence Event happened and gave birth to Ultima Deus, Final God. It wiped clean everything from existence and created for itself a new universe imagined without the ailments or restrictions of the Old Universe.
In this New Universe, it created life and with it, the Tesseract. It was the gift Ultima Deus wanted to give to those that wanted to learn. But only when they were truly ready to learn everything, would they be able to unlock all of its contents. They came in slices, each part of a larger whole. Full of information that was only comprehensible if you could understand the hundreds of dimensions they were recorded in.
What lies before you, is the first slice that they uncracked, a trillion years worth of time led them to their discovery. The only knowledge of the universe before this one that still exists. However, even deciphered, it isn't accurate, volumes of information still remain to be truly understood. Many have come to learn from this, many have tried to interpret its meanings and fill in the blanks to the best of their abilities.

After Convergence

The universe Ultima Deus created is still in its infancy. It was created within a sixth dimensional space instead of the previous third dimensional iteration before it. The creations of the universe, which could be loosely referred to as Species although not quite, have evolved in this new 6-D environment and with that, they've advanced faster than the species of the old universe ever did. Where the previous constraints of the Old Universe held civilizations back, they advanced beautifully and built a better world.

Species in this universe are capable of time travel as easily as one could have entered or exited a building in the Old Universe.

Beings have attempted to communicate with Ultima Deus by traveling back to the beginning but it is always missing. With only the Tesseract left in it's absence, they cannot reach it and find out the meanings behind what it created.

Many civilizations have only just begun, although their status is no longer determined by the Kardashev Scale, which was discontinued when Convergence Event occurred. There is no longer a need for energy or any other forms of sustenance. Species do not grow old or die, nor do they breed, whatever beings were created at the beginning are what populates this universe.

The Convergence Event began with the merging of the Hollow after the Apocalypse had ended all life in the universe. As they were empowered with unlimited suffering, they for a split moment all gained omnipotence and immediately transformed the universe into an extension of the Gaunt itself. It became a chaotic entropy with no room left for the living. Great Horrors of vast proportions spilled into every corner of the universe. Nothing escaped them. The little life left was immediately torn apart by the Hollow newfounded power.

That was the beginning of the end for the Hollow and their Great Horrors. There was an unspoken law in omnipotence, something the Hollow did not anticipate -- there could only be one omnipotent in existence. And when they merged, a single supreme being was created. A true omnipotent that was beyond all, the most powerful being to have existed.

This supreme being destroyed the Old Universe and the Great Horrors that plagued it. It created a new one that existed from the fourth dimension to the seventh dimension. That way, the beings that existed in it could be immortal and never lose their loved ones. And they could learn from their mistakes in the future and rectify them if needed. All to bring an end to suffering and death. Some believe the traits from the Hollow rubbed off Ultima Deus, that it still had a piece of them deep inside.

The Tesseract

All that was known about the Tesseract was that when Ultima Deus created it, it hailed the beginning of days for the new universe and so began Year One A.C (After Convergence). It contains every piece of knowledge, memory and creation in the entirety of every single universe that existed before it. The amount of knowledge it holds is vast, the Tesseract itself is infinite in size, contracting and expanding on a whim.

Ultima Deus created it in order to educate it's creations as to the consequences of repeating the past and an effort to avoid history repeating itself. It's belief in allowing mortals to be free of it's rule was absolute, it did not want to follow in the footsteps of the Hollow or the Uothsach. Nor did it believe in the ways of all previous iterations of Godly and powerful entities that have existed in the infinite number of universes before this one.

It was an enormous four dimensional cube that had many slices within it, all of varying dimensions and realities which made it near-impossible for beings to decipher or understand. So far, only one Slice has been deciphered, the very slice you're reading now and the accuracy is flimsy at best.

The very first beings that studied it were also the very first beings Ultima Deus created; the Generation.

The Slice

It was one of the Slices created by Ultima Deus. All the events that had happened in the Old Universe prior After Convergence and after the Big Bang. It was the very first translated slice after millions of years of attempts. The majority of knowledge of the countless universes that existed before them in the rest of the Slices them remain locked and may never be unlocked.

The language is beyond the Fourth Dimension and some even further. Which is the primary reason why it has taken so long to decipher any of it. And even then, the translation are mere interpretations of what it any of it could mean. They may be inaccurate or be misinterpeted in some way.

The Slice is divided into two sections: After Convergence and Before Convergence. This event is the single most important event that has ever occurred as it marked the beginning of a new universe. In each section, is the history of all the events, civilizations and creations that existed in their respective timelines.

Dimensional Being Scale

The civilizations and species of universes exist in dimensions, multiple dimensions and some don't exist within the confines of dimensions at all. This scale was designed to determine what dimensional capabilities a species or a civilization had in order to understand them more clearly.

First Dimension

Without time, it is a single plane where everything can only exist in a static void where no event will ever come to happen. Any species that exists in here only remain in the same positions they have for an eternity, on the same single plane of existence.

Second Dimension

It has time but the beings in this dimension cannot perceive it in any capacity. They are capable of traveling in two dimensions but cannot perceive a higher dimension, they will always remain on a flat space of time, moving across an endless plane in their universe.

Third Dimension

Capable of perceiving time but incapable of knowing what will happen until the events have come to pass. They are capable of three directions now which enables them to move more freely than the Second Dimension. There were many civilizations that existed within this dimension in the Old Universe.

They were limited by the physical barriers of their universe which forced them to utilize the third dimension to bypass those barriers. The universe is constantly expanding, following the linear fashion of time flow in this dimension.

Fourth Dimension

Four Dimensional beings were capable of perceiving time as non-linear, meaning they were capable of seeing all three tenses of time at once. That enables them to see time backwards or forwards, knowing everything that will happen in their lifetimes but they are unable to travel it or touch it in any way.

What they are capable of is being able to perceive objects in a different time, allowing them to bypass physical barriers that would otherwise limit a 3-D being. It is their perception that allows them to utilize a fourth direction. For if a mountain was in their way, they would simply be able to appear on the other side of the mountain without ever having interacted with it.

The universe will both expand and contract at the same time, following the non-linear time flow of this dimension.

Fifth Dimension

This dimension is both anti-time and time, which has left the universe in an indefinite static state. The lack of time enables beings to move across time itself and alter their paths if they wish so. Altering these paths will create parallel realities, which are still constricted by probability. While these beings are able to alter events, they cannot fully achieve their desired endings as they're still affected by probability, randomized by whatever they altered in that universe.

Sixth Dimension

Fully capable of altering these parallel realities to whatever they desire, they are now in control of what will happen to their realities or other realities. Though they can only exist within these parallel realities, they can never exist outside of them.

Seventh Dimension

Beings that can exist outside of parallel realities, they are beyond time and reality now. They do not even exist in an universe but on a higher plane of existence available to only Seven Dimensional beings or higher.

The Generation

They were cosmic giants that could occupy sixth-dimensional space, made out of dust and red lights. Constructed by Ultima Deus to be the caretakers of the Tesseract in it's absence after it left to create life.

Research and data in the archives of most civilizations on the categorization of the Generation seemed to point their origins towards being connected to the Gaunt. But whether they were directly or indirectly connected remains uncertain. The energy they radiated, their capabilities and structure were all very similar to what was described of the Great Horrors that came from the Gaunt.

Since then, they were officially placed in the Cosmic Entity Category, the first of its kind in the New Universe. This brought about fear in the universe. Fear of the Gaunt's return and it's Great Horrors that brought the Apocalypse upon the old world. And since the Slice specifically states the creation of Ultima Deus was through the merging of the Hollow, this made a convincing argument that there may still be a lingering connection to the old world.

Many civilizations that remain open-minded to the Generation try to communicate with them and understand them. But since their ways of communication is so eccentric, they haven't made much progress. Though they have recognized them as the guardians of the Tesseract and that makes them a valuable source to figuring out the secrets of the Tesseract.

Ultima Deus

Soon after the Convergence Event came, a paradox rose that could only be resolved by the binding of the Hollow. Five omnipotent beings could not exist at the same time. Therefore, the Hollow merged together to birth one supreme being, Ultima Deus. Ultima Deus was the culimination of everything that existed, the pinnacle of life and creation, it was everything and it was nothing. Although it's weakness was extreme empathy and compassion, it had no intention of ridding itself of this weakness.

It wondered for an eternity through the ruins of the universe and saw the corruption, the mountains of corpses that easily decorated entire planets. It knew everything that had happened, it saw all the way back to the very beginning of everything. All it ever saw was suffering and misery.

All the suffering it felt made it resent itself. It resented what created it and wanted to bring an end all suffering forever.

Ultima Deus was an abstract but beautiful being made of a configurement of symbols that revolved around itself. It was said that one felt total harmony just being around it. It never spoke a word, rather communicating through the mind of those with images or dreams where they would see it in a materialized form. This was so it's creations could have an easier time seeing and understanding it.

After they had communicated with it, they realized that this supreme being had no true name. So, they decided to call it Ultima Deus, which translated to Final God. Because since it had expressed an acute desire to rid the universe of Gods and rulers. It was time for the living to live as they liked without the fear of a supreme ruler.

Once it finished the creation of the Tesseract and rebuilt the universe to sustain life once more. It decided to end it's own existence and gave back control of the universe to it's creations.

Although it's existence was ended, the possibility of it's return may be on the horizon, some day. Since then, an age has passed, the belief that it never existed in the first place has become widespread. Many beings believe Ultima Deus and the Convergence Event was merely an event told from a religious perspective, that none of it happened. Although there are still civilizations across the universe that believe in it's existence and some that even worship it as a deity. Which goes against what it wanted for it's creations.

It would've brought great joy to this being if everybody had simply forgot about it but remembered the lessons it brought them. Most of what is known about The Last God are myths and legends. No being alive today has any knowledge but what has been recorded into the Slice.

The closest that ever came to knowing or understanding Ultima Deus were the Generations.

Quantum Beings

One of the oldest civilizations in the new universe, they are four-dimensional beings and they are very quiet and peaceful in nature. One of the strangest species too as they're unable to communicate like any other species. Instead, they see all tenses of time at once. This allows them to understand their future, past and present better, this was the reason why they advanced so well compared to other species.

They learned to communicate through something called Quantum Entanglement. Which allowed them to forgo the need to use a written or verbal language. Quantum Entanglement allowed them to know what others knew, to see what they saw, to feel what they feel. This Entanglement reached vast distances across the universe and couldn't be hampered by any barrier. Although no other species is known to be able to do this, which has made all communication with them difficult if not, impossible.

That's when they decided to go on a mass migration across the universe to bring their knowledge to civilizations that had not yet advanced well enough, by leaving behind clues in places they knew other civilizations would stumble across when they were ready.

It is thought that the Quantum Beings still communicate with Ultima Deus, although the methods in how they do it remains unknown.

They have the appearance of multiple slender limbs connected to a disproportionately large body that towers over most creatures. It is thought that they use each of their limbs to weave and communicate in different tangled dimensions, each one individual from the other. They are able to communicate to multiple beings, being with them and not being with them at the same time as never having moved from their position.

There are still questions posed as to what dimensions they're able to shift in and out of and whether they understand them or if they just use them as tools only.

Eaeru

Seven Dimensional beings, their name meant "infinite". For they were no longer limited by an universe or parallel realities. There were only three Eaeru in existence, all without purpose which left them wandering the void aimlessly.

In the mind of the Eaeru, the Tesseract is meaningless, as they see the world beyond what supposedly exists. Therefore, nothing has ever truly existed, except for them and Ultima Deus. It was this perspective that drove them away from most things, seeing the finalty of the universe is one thing but to see that it was never there is another thing entirely.

Unlike other beings, they do not have a form, not even an incorporeal form.

Before Convergence

Before Convergence Event happened, the universe was Third Dimensional. The life of the universe was created by accident by the Antiquorummensch of the Gaunt, who had spilled into this world with eagerness to learn about it, but they were young and foolish.

Before long, the creations of the Antiquorummensch began to affect the Gaunt, and the Gaunt responded by taking on the traits of the universe it was connected to. However, for some reason, the emotions and struggles of the Human species had such a tremendous impact that it turned the Gaunt into a hellish nightmare and gave birth to the Eater.

What was to the humans were just chemical signals, philosophies and circumstances, became reality in the Gaunt. They were not manifestations, they were as real as the laws of physics in this universe was real. Suffering was the reality of the Gaunt and that reality became unstable and volatile.

In the Old Universe, there was a great struggle, there was pain and suffering. The universe was constricted by its own physics and therefore most creatures experienced death and pain. The strong learned the secrets to dodge this and went where no other had gone. The weak remained simple creatures that were victims to the laws of the universe designed by the Antiquorummensch.

Time, to most creatures, was linear. There was a beginning and an ending to everything. Nothing like the New Universe, which is devoid of pain, death and suffering. Life was finite before Ultima Deus came.

But there was also love, compassion and connection, which made all of this bearable for them.

But that didn't change the fact that in this universe, it was a kill or be killed life, all civilizations knew this. The only viable reaction in an encounter with another civilization was to destroy them, to preserve themselves. It was like a dark forest, everybody hid in darkness and silence, unwilling to expose themselves. And those who did were quickly destroyed.

Young civilizations usually made the mistake of exposing themselves in their naivety and eagerness to explore the unknown and encounter others like themselves. They were destroyed quickly and without so much as a fuss, their potential snuffed out by a greater and bigger predator.

That was the way of life in this universe, nobody knew each other and nobody wanted to either. Until the Eater came bursting into the universe, like an unstoppable plague that eventually swamped the universe into a state of entropy and led to its downfall.

The sudden presence of the Eater forced many civilizations to flee to safety. None could slow or halt them, the only option was to run away, and that broke the dark forest of the universe.

War, war is what came next. Countless of fleeing civilizations suddenly clashed with other civilizations, there was confusion, paranoia and fear. They destroyed each other and fed the Eater with their pain and suffering.

Over a period of many billion years, the Eater gained on them, they never stopped. While the rest of the universe lived in bliss ignorance,

The Gaunt

Home to the Hollows, it was an universe that acted as parasitic symbiote. It attached itself to any universe it came across and reaped what elements, physics or traits they had and grew bigger and stronger. But it also gave traits of it's own to the universes it came across, sometimes warping them for the better or worse. Such as the Antiquorummensch, who entered the Old Universe and provided traits that came from the Gaunt. Mostly, the Gaunt ate them for sustenance.

It was a world with no logic or law, a world of unstability and randomness. The Eater lurked the deep dark, consuming whatever they found and grew bigger and stronger, including each other. These Eater were wild, vicious and devoid of a consciousness, they existed only to eat.

One of the traits the Gaunt gained from attaching itself to the old universe was human emotion. This is what turned it into a nightmarish world in the first place, it was how the powerful Eaters were created and the first of the Antiquorummensch that inflitrated the old universe. Later, the Hollow and their Great Horrors wer

The Gaunt was never a single state, it changed all the time. It was a vast sea of blood with ear-piercing shrieking that rung throughout the world, shrouded by red mist that stretched on for as far as the eye could see. It was a pitch black void that was ever so quiet that you could hear your own heartbeat, full of prowling horrors larger than you could possibly imagine. It was a maze remniscent of a mansion that was so big that the biggest structures and creatures were like ants in comparison. It was a lot of things, a lot of things that drove those stuck in there insane. If the Cosmic Horrors hadn't found them and tortured or ripped them apart them yet, they often killed themselves on their own volition to end the pain.

It was generally impossible for creatures of the Old Universe to survive in this dimension without getting ripped apart by the incredible cosmic forces that were at play. But, if the Gaunt desired you, then you were spared only to face a new nightmare. It was a conscious entity that was fickle with it's terrible power.

It was technically a Horror itself and it was the biggest that ever lived. Several orders of magnitudes larger than any universe that existed, it slowly ate other universes. A lot of the data on this subject went missing ever since the Library crumbled. It is unknown how something like the Gaunt produced something more powerful than itself and if there were ever more Eaters in the category of the Gaunt, that remained a big mystery after Convergence Event happened.

Black Holes & Transport

Mortals often traveled through the Gaunt using black holes to travel great distances in the universe without time passing. They used spacecraft that had powerful armor and shields to prevent Horrors from tearing inside and consuming the crew.

Many fell trying to travel through the Gaunt, even the most advanced remained prey to the Gaunt. The people on-board often went insane, saw hallucinations and tried to kill each other. There were many documented cases of enormous cosmic monstrosities that managed to rip a hole in the spacecraft and allowed the cosmic horrors outside to go inside and eat the crew.

Even successful trips resulted in high casuality rates, people who disappeared or dropped dead wasn't an uncommon occurrance. People who were driven insane would attempt to strangle, maim or mutilate whomever they came across. Often, they tried to kill the entire crew on-board through unlocking airlocks, mass shootings, crashing the ship or turning off the shields.

The High Sovereignty adopted an approach of traveling through the Gaunt as quickly and as quietly as possible on the quickest known paths to their exit. They tried to not disturb the Horrors that lurked there by lowering their energy signature as well. They used a reverse-engineered ancient piece of technology from the Enlightenment Era to travel through it. Called the Architect to map out a route into the event horizon of a black hole and through the Gaunt to their correct worm hole exit. But it was faulty, prone to malfunction and this made up the majority of maritime disasters in the High Sovereign Military history.

The Origin of Life

In year one in the infancy of the Old Universe, it was empty and lifeless. Then the Gaunt opened up a portal into this universe which caused stars, galaxies and black holes to exist. 2.5 billion years later, the Primordial Gods seeped in from the Gaunt, later known as the Primal Gods, they were wild and powerful in nature. In 100 thousand years, they gained sentinence and realized they could communicate with one another across the vast space of the universe. They learned that they had abilities that allowed them to create, to control and to destroy.

Within 500 thousand years, the Primal Gods had created a chaotic structure known as "nature". Nature as they had intended, was essentially chaos that re-balanced itself with more chaos. Nature propagated across the universe in the form of stars, planets and black holes which took an age. Gradually, the void became full of light and rushing colors.

500 million years later, the very first life emerged through chance. A collision between several neutron stars created an enormous gamma ray burst that created the Eateru. They emerged from a gas giant that was high in concentrated gamma radiation. Made out of pure energy, they were very close to the Primal Gods in image. Their creation taught the Primal Gods that they could indeed create life other than themselves, so they set about to seeding stars and worlds with life.

10 billion years later, Earth is formed and life on this world is ruled by Shuigh and Gniomhartha, they were forces of nature and terror to be reckoned with. Humans emerge and become the dominant species on planet, they tremble in fear of Shuigh and Gniomhartha and come to worship them. And the Gods rewarded them with power.

Within 50 thousand years, the Primal Gods end up being corrupted by the very things they created. Human emotion manifested in the Gods in terrible ways. They changed and they took unimaginably horrifying forms. Through the Primal Gods connection to the Gaunt, the Gaunt also became tainted and transformed into a hideous hell full of horrors. This was the beginning of how the Dark Gods came to be.

200 thousand years later, civilizations have formed. The Primal Gods end up forgotten by almost every civilization in the universe except the human civilization who were some of the latest beings created. The Primal Gods retreat and remain within the deepest corners of their domains and slumber. The universe has become complex and diverse, teeming with alien civilizations in the early stages everywhere. The Eateru has advanced beyond any other civilization, they become the caretakers of millions of civilizations and educate them with gifts and knowledge. This causes a spurt in growth of advanced civilizations across the universe.

Then the first of the Suffering Gods emerged, called Daedelus.

The Antiquorummensch

Long ago, they were considered the Gods and rulers of the old world before the Hollow came. But they became Antiquorummensch, ruling through fear, manipulation and seduction. They were thought to be primordial incarnations that came out of the Gaunt, spawning long before the Hollow and their Apocalypse came.

There was a split moment when the Old Universe was connected with the Gaunt. A powerful symbiosis occurred when this connection happened, a portal opened, the very same portal that triggered the Apocalypse billions of years later. This was when the Antiquorummensch seeped through and began their creation process.

They were the origin of all life in the Old Universe. They ruled over it for millions of years until their creations corrupted the Gaunt, which had taken in traits such as emotion, pain and suffering. Which led to the creation of the Hollow.

Most of the powerful Antiquorummensch found were enslaved and absorbed by the Hollow. They became hosts so they could be used to manipulate the living in the universe to do their bidding as they were unable to enter it themselves. They were nothing more than mindless beasts in the eyes of the Hollow, they existed for the sole purpose of being used as a means to an end.

Although not all of them were found. Some Antiquorummensch had found a way to hide from the Hollow, they hid in remote areas of the old universe and ruled over small populations who offered sacrifices in exchange for power or protection.

They weren't all found in the end, but they were all either corrupted or destroyed when the Convergence Event happened.

The name given to them, Uothsach was the origin of the name Hollow. "uoth", meaning primordial, old or ancient. "sach", meaning immortal or godly, which roughly translates the name into "Primordial God" or "Primal God" for short.

Fugax

Fugax was shy, it did not like being seen. It lived in the vast emptiness of space between galaxies and remained there until it died in the chaos that emerged from Convergence Event.

This Uathsach had the appearance of a series of long strings, so thin that they were invisible to the naked eye. These strings were tangled into a ball, then untangled themselves from the ball, it was tangled and untangled. A constant state where it happened and didn't. It was a being that had the ability to exist in multiple dimensions, which perhaps made it one of the first beings that managed to cross over so many.

Shuigh

GnĂomhartha

A mangled head that was crammed inside a large jar filled with blood, the golden trimmings just below the lid was fading. A lid screwed on top of a tattered cloth, soaked with the blood from the contents of the jar. droplets of blood oozed from the cloth. It always gurgled, forming bubbles that rose to the surface.

All that looked upon it's face had their bones liquefied and their bodies turned into a fleshy sludge on the ground. The last time it was seen was in 1844 during a shipping expedition to the Galapagos Island with a crew of 100 souls. They stumbled across what was thought to be the Galapagos but turned out to be the domain of GnĂomhartha.

Only four made it back but not without lingering mental trauma. They were never the same again, they kept babbling about a "Hell" where you could not see, hear or feel. A Hell that would unwrack your mind into oblivion. The fate of the rest of the crew remained unknown forever.

Vhanthua

Vhanthua was responsible for the creation of untold beings during the early days of the Old Universe, this was a very old and powerful Uathsach. It lived in an old galaxy, traveling from world to world. It usually subjugated primitive civilizations that couldn't fend for themselves. Because although it had great psychological power, it had no true way to defend itself. Which made it susceptible to powerful civilizations which could have harmed or even destroyed it.

For many eons it poisoned and controlled the minds of the natives on different worlds. It drove them to war with one another and created suffering for the Uathsach to feed off. Once it had fed, it would leave the world in shambles in search of more.

It had become wholly corrupted by Humanity's influence on the Gaunt and it's spawn. That led to Vhanthuas' thirst for suffering as opposed to it's very docile and mild nature when it first arrived.

It was discovered and enslaved by the Hollow around the Origin Ship period when Humanity still traveled the stars. That Uathsach was used to manipulate and corrupt the natives to bend to the will of the Hollow and they became Loyalists or Acolytes.

The Horrors the Acolytes summoned built a vault that locked Vhanthua deep within on a High Sovereign world and was used by Loyalists and Acolytes to communicate with the Hollow. It was thick enough to halt any influence Vhanthua may have attempted to exert upon any creatures nearby.

It had the appearance of a giant monolith in the color of pitch black, it was very smooth. No symbols or particular irregularities were marked on the monolith. But there was a faint hum that resounded throughout the vault, a triple hum then a sudden stop before it resumed.

The monolith was roughly 4,000 meters in height and around 1,500 meters in width. It towered over most landscape on the worlds it arrived on. This often intimidated and terrified the natives of these worlds into submission who thought it was a higher being or perhaps an omen for their sins.

Hollows

Ancient and powerful beings. They were known in the Old Universe as Hollows, present before civilization even dawned, they were responsible for the creation of the Eaters. They sent the Eaters into the Old Universe to eat the living, not even the most powerful of civilizations could stop or slow them. There were five Hollows, that had a symbiosis with the traits of suffering derived from human beings. Each one followed an instinct that drove them to absorb the universe, to reshape it in their own image, an almost animalistic instinct from deep within their cores.

The Hollows resided in the Gaunt and fed off it their symbiosis with their Eaters and the suffering they brought. Not even the Hollows themselves knew the origin of the Gaunt. Only that it had a mind of it's own, but it's desires remained a mystery to them and to others.

Over several millenia, they manipulated and twisted the living of the Old Universe through their enslaved Ubersach to do their bidding. To bring them pain and suffering so that they could empower themselves. Many believed that the Hollow would reward them for their service, that they would have a place in the new world they would create, but they were all deceived to the very end.

Millions of years ago, the Hollow had managed to open a portal connecting the Gaunt to the Old Universe, this was the beginning of the Apocalypse. The Eater spread slowly, they swarmed entire galaxies and swallowed them whole. Over a period of billions of years, they creeped upon unsuspecting civilizations and ate them.

The Apocalypse forced many civilizations to flee to safety and due to the inability to communicate, the Dark Forest equilibrium became unstable, the scales were tipped. That every hiding civilization was forced out into the light, where others could see them. Pandemonium ensued, they attacked each another and destroyed each other. Many did not become aware of the Great Horrors until it was too late. Those that did moved in the direction of the Augen, which later became the High Sovereignty for refuge and safety, as all civilizations did.

As instructed by the Hollow, Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder ordered the A.I drones of the Augen civilization to open fire on all fleeing refugees in their sector and triggered the Great War. This brought much suffering and pain to the Hollow. It empowered them so much that it caused the most important event to have ever happened, the Convergence Event.

When the Convergence Event occurred, the Hollow for a split moment became omnipotent and tore into the universe with ease. With nothing holding them back anymore, they were free to commence a purge of all life and fully corrupted the universe. The Eater swarmed virtually every corner of the universe and extinguished all life. It became a chaotic entropy that literally became full of Cosmic Horrors. All space was occupied by Eater, everything was crushed further as more poured into the fray.

The universe was transformed into a world that mirrored to the Gaunt. It became another nightmare filled world, devoid of sanity or hope. The Old Universe was dead and all life had died with it.

Soon after that, a paradox occurred, five omnipotents occupying the same space was impossible by all rights. Only a single omnipotent may exist at a time, any more forced a merge to re-balance the paradox. Therefore, the Hollow merged together to form a single supreme being, Ultima Deus. And it undid all that the Hollow did in a single fell stroke.

It is worth noting that the Hollow could not understand the advances of technology. They preferred the raw and cruel power in the frying, melting, imploding and crushing of the living. The living did not suffer as much if they were instantly destroyed by powerful weaponry. So it was forbidden by the Hollow for their servants to use such weapons. Instead, they relished in the slow and sickening suffering one endured when being fried or crushed to death.

They were considered Gods to some in the Old Universe, especially the Humans. When they were first discovered by the living of the Old Universe, they could only be explained as Gods and were worshiped as such. The things they were capable of extended beyond what anything could do and they knew that.

The Hollow took advantage of this to lure Loyalists and Acolytes towards dormant Ubersach where they would be used as food to power them up. Worship or loyalty mattered not to the Hollow, it was to them, trivial and pathetic and did nothing for them. It was their pain and suffering they wanted, nothing more, like a starving beast.

Even Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder fell prey to the Hollow plans by providing him with false promises of him gaining the power of an Hollow himself so he could bring back the one he loved. They used him, like they used everybody else and he ended up living in eternal torment when the Apocalypse was over.

The Hollow were close to what could be referred to as omnipotence in terms of what they could do, they always had been. Capable of doing almost anything for their needs or desires. Capable of creating beings that were almost as powerful as them to serve them and to bend powerful beings that were independent to their will. But they could never really attain omnipotence until they found that causing suffering and pain gave them power.

It was like a drug to the Hollow. The suffering of countless beings brought them more energy than the Gaunt ever could. Amplified through the symbiotic bond between the Old Universe and the Gaunt. That was how they managed to exert enough power over the Uothmensch to subjugate them to their will.

During their omnipotence stage, they were the most powerful things in existence throughout the ages of every single universe that came before or after them. Through the paradox, they had managed to boost their power tenfold through having five omnipotents in power. A power that could not be understood, a power greater than infinite belonged to them.

The name Hollow was derived from the name Ubersach. "Uber", meaning horror or great and "mensch" meaning immortal or godly in nature. Hollow translated to "Godly Horrors". The origin of the word "Uber" was a complex one and was based on the current understanding of what they knew the Hollow really were at the time, which was fluid. It originated from "Uathsach". Which later became "Ubathsach", meaning "unknown" or "the empty" when it was found that they weren't anything like the Uathsach. When their Great Horrors came, it became "Ubermanch", "the god void" and towards the midst of the Apocalypse, became "Hollow", "godly horrors".

It was at that moment that they truly began to scratch the surface of what the Hollow truly were.

The Apocalypse

Tens of millions of years ago, the Hollow opened a connection with the universe. That connection was what released the monstrous creatures they created, known as the Eater, into the world to bring forth the foretold Apocalypse upon the universe.

Although the connection was fragile, only the weakest of the Eater could enter and this barred very powerful ones from entering, that included the Hollow themselves.

For millions of years, they spread and consumed civilizations, forcing many to flee to safety and in the process, caused them to enter conflict and war with one another. This was to the Hollow benefit as it brought them suffering and pain.

The Apocalypse wiped out almost all life in the universe, only a few civilizations survived against the Eater at the end. They were soon wiped out by the inevitable Convergence Event that gave birth to Ultima Deus, ushering a new era of peace and life with it's creations.

Convergence Event

When the Hollow absorbed enough power from the suffering of the universe, they became omnipotent for a fraction of a second. In this fraction of a second, they immediately took over the universe and nothing could stand in their way anymore. The Eater had outlived their usefulness and were left to their devices in the ruins of the old world.

Then came the era of Ultima Deus and it's Tesseract.

Daedelus

It was given the name Daedelus by those who loved the Hollow with sickening affection, they were loyal to it although it was not mutual. It used them as food to fuel itself and that was all they were to Daedelus. It was a hideous amalgamation of madness that took pleasure in the propagation of insanity to wherever it could reach, that's what it wanted the most, driven by an instinct so powerful it cut off all other desires or curiosities in this Hollow.

It's true form was a gigantic monstrosity, a bleeding, chaotic and complex mass of tendrils, brains and other human or alien organs would protrude from it. With a maw that let out a blood-curdling shriek that would rattle your body into mush. The size of this Hollow was said to be larger than a planet, some have said it to be much larger. The size, according to different eyewitness accounts claiming to have seen the Hollow has varied. It remains unknown why it changed it's size so much,it was likely an involuntary reaction equal to the amount of energy it harnessed from it's victims.

It was the first of the creatures that came out of the Gaunt, originally Uothmensch. But Daedelus was the only Uothmensch that became Hollow, it was the first of the five Hollow to have come into existence. Daedelus was also indirectly responsible for the creation of Mundus. Mundus was once Daedelus' favorite toy, it tortured his mind and twisted it and caused him to grow into an Hollow against his own will.

Those that gave their lives to Daedelus were usually mutated and warped into hideous horrors that served as food to the Uothmensch. Cultists sacrificed their bodies to bring upon the true form of madness, the form of Daedelus itself; a bleeding brain with hair protruding between the folds.

Trost

Trost was a violent and psychopathic Hollow. It could be said it was the embodiment of violence, who cared above all about killing and crushing whatever living it could find. Quite similar to Daedelus although very different methods, Trost brought about psychopathic rage in those it managed to touch. It mattered not whether they had a spectrum of emotions or if they were machine, it could give them that trait and drive them to eat each other in a gory bloodbath.

It's appearance was terrifying, a giant cancerous tumor-like abomination with blood-red flesh. There were hundreds of mouths lined with sharp teeth. The tentacles that protruded from it's body flailed about uncontrollably along with it's unquenchable rage. It was the size of a small city and it's tentacles extended further.

Those that could not provide the Hollow with slaughter would worship it instead, although the act was useless, they still served as an excellent source of food to be fed to the Uothmensch. Their reward was a brutal death, crushed and ripped apart by the Uothmensch or the Eater. In the mind of the Loyalists and Cultists who ferociously tried to serve Trost, they were providing a service to their true god.

The symbiosis between the universe and the Gaunt was what gave birth to Trost. Created by the very first war to occur in the universe, it burst out of the void screaming mad with bloodlust and rage. With only a single purpose in mind, to kill, smash and flay.

Mundus

During his younger years he was a human cursed with immortality, through some genetic defect. He was also kind and loving, unlike the rest of his human tribe but still, Mundus enjoyed bonding with his mortal friends. However, within the blink of an eye, they would wither away and disappear. It made him feel sad and lonely that he could not have keep his friends for very long, he longed for a world where he could keep his friends forever and that desire brewed deep within him. When Daedelus caught wind of his deep desires, it'd found the most exciting subject to twist. His desires were slowly twisted by the Hollow, which warped him into a grossly deformed horror with an extreme desire to keep everything alive.

Mundus became a grotesque mass of rotten flesh stretched thin by many barbaric hooks sunk deep into the flesh, the hooks connected to a giant rusty gold frame. He longer had any eyes and a foul maw lined with a thousand decaying teeth and a breath that caused the living to decompose on the spot.

The edge of his flesh lined with unkempt hair that spiraled from the pores. Mundus was reborn as an Hollow. He had a strong desire to keep everything alive but the method in how he did this no longer mattered, his mind became so twisted that he stopped caring about how he kept them alive.

Disease, the thing he hated the most became the very thing that kept all that he loved alive. Through his own genetic immortality, he created foul diseases that could keep those he loved alive but at a price, they turned the living into decomposing immortal corpses that corrupted everything they touched.

After all, all that mattered to the young Hollow was that they moved and kept him company. He was the final and the most powerful of the Hollow. His Eater were truly unstoppable by his tremendous love of the living.

His Eater ate planets and entire galaxies, leaving entire sectors of the universe devoid of life. Whatever was spared became diseased husks filled with the bloated, rotting corpses of fallen civilizations. They were all his beloved friends that he never could have before he was Hollow.

Those that knew of his existence called him The Lord of Flies. There were depictions of his disgusting flesh stretched apart by a huge metallic contraption. Always surrounded by a huge swarm of flies that feasted upon his flesh.

Mundus was roughly 1,000 meters tall and 1,400 meters wide. His enormous frame was colossal, nearly double the size of his flesh.

Eden & Elysium

The twin Hollow came from the Gaunt just as Daedelus did, coming in the form of two long, slender bodied creatures with a soft, pinkish flesh and had sunken eyes with a wiggly mouth with no teeth in them. They had two stubby arms and legs as well. Not as large as their fellow Hollow though, they were only slightly larger than skyscrapers. They were twins, although they were connected as a single Hollow, that made Eden & Elysium highly unusual for an Hollow, they were the first and last of their kind.

They were strangely quiet and never took part in the slaughter of the universe in a twisted sense of irony. If anything, they avoided killing or eating, unlike the other Hollow, they did not have such a powerful drive. It's thought that they had the ability to reflect and possibly resist their urges although they still couldn't help what they were. They found that if they resisted their urges, they were able to think critically and they were able to reflect upon themselves.

Wonder, they began to wonder about things and questioned their existence, questioned why they needed pain and suffering in the first place. They hated it, they did not want to hurt things. But they had to do it, it was their purpose in their existence, without it they were nothing. As time went on, they became severely weak as they refused to bring an end to life as they were meant to. While they did this, the Old Universe began to suffer from entropy, worlds became overfilled with life and they starved. Elysium went dormant, with only Eden conscious, it was left to think for an age.

It realized that it would be a mercy to bring a permament end to their lives, that in their death, the Hollow could no longer torment them to feed themselves. Eden told Elysium, and Elysium slowly agreed with Eden, it would be merciful to end their suffering as quickly as possible.

They saw themselves as a paradise, an Utopia of sorts that provided a benevolent role in bringing peace to the creatures in the Old Universe. Thus, they named themselves Eden and Elysium to mirror that belief. They went back to their old ways of eating and feeding on the suffering of the living in the Old Universe, which slowly turned them mindless again.

Larathan

A heinous abomination birthed by a woman repeatedly raped by the Gaunt itself into multiple tortuous orgasms. The mother's abdomen was torn apart as it gave birth to Larathan, an Hollow that was eccentric. It was the depraved and reprehensible embodiment of sex, seduction and love. Larathan had the form of multiple pinkish flesh cubes stacked together, each with a single eye and mouth, each mouth served as an orifice to be used.

It was always surrounded by it's subjects and engaged in orgies with them eternally. It particularly liked human children, due to the connection the Hollow have to the Human race. When Larathan learned that they were the most innocent of the living, it grew to love the defilement of them. It was what empowered it the most, especially when it all happened front of the parents that birthed them. The screams, anguish, suffering and hate from the parents and the children was exactly what Larathan coveted.

The worlds that fell to the uncontrollable sexual urges Larathan gave to ended up becoming places of mass orgies. The living were warped to gain human sexual organs or orifices in some way. Then they ended up being locked in a orgy, being raped to death by giant psychopaths. Their guts were ripped out via impalement and heads rolled to make way for an orifice to be used by more Eater. Sometimes they were swallowed and drowned in the corrosive acids the Eater had in their stomachs, the remains converted into semen and injected into their next victim to bloat them up.

Once a pleasure, eventually a nightmare full of suffering and misery, which gave Larathan all it needed for sustenance.

Eaters

They were the fully ossified symbiotic creatures that spawned from the Hollows. They were given another name by the beings of the universe, the Great Horrors. They were given this name because of their immense size and horrifying appearance. Their symbiosis traits became ossified when they took form, meaning they could no longer take on additional traits nor could they give away traits like the Hollow could. To be able to break the ossification process, they needed to consume matter that provided the necessary energy, hence the reason why they had such a ravenous hunger.

Created in the Gaunt, the Hollows bred these monstrous creatures to flood the universe and eat planets, stars and galaxies. In the absence of sustenance, they turned on each other instead, their hunger was insatiable. They arrived many billions of years ago, it took them many more billions of years to eventually reach every corner of the universe and eat everything. Most civilizations weren't aware of their existence until it was too late.

Some were incorporeal, unable to take on physical form but yet capable of interacting with the world. And some could take on corporeal form, such as the Great Abominations, that crawled on the surface of worlds and ate them. Many beings fell victim to corruption just by the mere presence of an Eater. They were changed and deformed. Few could resist the hunger of the Hollow.

When they first came, a connection formed, the connection was a gateway to the Gaunt and when it opened, a sea of blood spilled into the universe. Then, the spawn of the Hollows poured out, bathed in blood and began their feast.

They had the ability to appear anywhere they wanted through tearing open cracks in space, this made them as unpredictable as they were indestructible. This led to the downfall of the universe as even the most powerful of civilizations were toppled by these creatures.

A lot of Eaters existed in the Gaunt which was balanced by an equilibrium called the "dog equilibrium" which was essentially the large preyed on the small in order to sustain themselves and kept the population from spiraling out of control. Despite their monstrous sizes, they did not provide nearly as much energy as their primary diet did so they ended up wanting more. Like eating bread to sustain ourselves, it would be nowhere near enough.

The Eater Scale

The Eaters varied in size and power which was projected depending how much they had already consumed and would continue to consume in their lifetimes. They were separated into different Types by the High Sovereignty in order to identify threats quickly and respond appropriately.

Type 0:

Mostly Acolytes and Loyalists. Since they were able to an extent, mimic the symbiotic abilities of the Eater through their connection to the Gaunt, they were officially placed on the Eater scale. The threat level of this Type was low to non-existent. But they were known to bring Type II Eater to decimate worlds.

The High Sovereignty cracked down on Type 0 gatherings on their worlds to prevent the summon of powerful Eaters.

Type I:

This Type consisted of low-level Eaters that could inflict substantial damage to towns or cities but their powers rarely exceeded beyond that. A Type I Eater could be harmed and killed with low-tier weaponry within the 500 gigaton nuclear warhead range. Any lower proved to be ineffective.

Type 1 Eater were projected to consume an entire planet within two to three weeks.

Type II:

The driving force behind the Apocalypse. This was the most common Type encountered during the Apocalypse. Type 2 Eaters were gargantuan and nigh-invincible. It required the intervention of a Wreath to kill a Type 2 Eater.

Type 2 Eaters were projected to consume star-systems within four centuries, entire galaxies within two milleniums.

Type III:

Type 3 Eaters and above were effectively immortal in every sense of the word. No weapon could harm them and they could not be slowed down. If a Type 3 was encountered, the recommended approach was to trigger a Wreath to destroy anything that could be consumed and retreat.

They were projected to consume 100 galaxies within 15,000 years, 100,000 galaxies within 200,000 years.

Type IV:

Beyond anything that existed in the universe, they were invincible. Although they showed less aggression than Type 3 Eater, they drifted aimlessly through the universe and came to destroy any galaxy they went near, intentionally or accidentally.

Projected to consume 50 billion galaxies over a period of 100 million years.

Type V:

This Type was created specifically after the accidental discovery of the Schisms. Since they were unable to place them in a correct category. Discovered on a routine trip in the Gaunt by the High Sovereignty, the Schisms were the only known beings that were beyond a Type 4 Eater.

The Schism had near Hollow-like power, not only in their symbiosis capabilities but other things were within their grasp. Such as altering reality, time and space to their desire. Although they were considered a non-threat as it was theorized that they were unable to pass through the portal into the universe, the same thing that restricted the Hollow. Although this theory was never truly tested.

A Type V was never projected for such a powerful Eater, especially as seeing as it couldn't enter the Old Universe. But scientists did estimate that they could potentially consume up to 60 trillion galaxies over a period of 50 thousand years. A Type V would've been extremely devastating to the universe and hastened its end by a large margin.

Type IV:

Created during the final 500 years of the High Sovereignty. It was an experimental category created for Eaters that consumed universes. Scientists proposed a theory that the Gaunt itself was a Eater due to it's nature. The Gaunt was the single largest Eater to ever exist. The capabilities of the Gaunt never reached that of the Hollow, however. This theory was later found to have been correct by Ultima Deus when it first materialized.

Acolytes:

- Type 0 Eater -

Although the Hollow cared not for their worship, they found use in Acolytes for their blind loyalty. They needed to activate the Antiquorummensch they had subjugated. To do that, they needed to feed them. The Hollow told the Loyalists who listened where to find Antiquorummensch and they went to them. The Antiquorummensch ended up eating many Acolytes and Loyalists, the ones that were spared was later used to host Horrors and allow them to enter the world.

Prior to the Apocalypse, many of these acolytes initiated foul rituals that required the sacrifice of their own lives to summon a Eater of The Gaunt into their world to wreak havoc upon the populace. When an acolyte allowed a Eater to take their bodies as host, their bodies became warped and the bones were broken down to accommodate it. An excruciating process that had the sacrifices howling in pain and anguish. That provided the Eater with enough energy to rip into the world free of an exceptionally powerful portal.

The acolyte retained their own free will and consciousness for a week until the Eater was fully formed. Only when it finally materialized, would the Eater then tear itself out of their bodies. They sacrificed themselves willingly with the belief that the Hollow would reward them. This was far from the truth. What awaited them was eternal suffering and pain. But before they come to suffer this fate, the Hollow needed them to orchestrate their plans in order to gain untold amounts of power.

Communication with the Hollow themselves was impossible without being obliterated by the cosmic forces that acted on the body. That was the work of the Antiquorummensch and the Loyalists who could communicate with them. Whatever biddings the Hollow required was relayed back to eager worshipers and Loyalists.

Once the Apocalypse came, the Acolytes suffered the same fate as everyone else. Eternal torment and anguish. Until Convergence Event came.

Loyalists:

- Type 0 Eater -

Loyal agents that served the Hollow. Tasked with the sole purpose of inflitrating civilizations and bringing them down from within through influence and manipulation. They bore no powers but their sabotaging was enough to bring suffering upon those they come across. Many civilizations fell victim to the Loyalists and their fanatical cults and became hosts for the Hollow to propagate their misery and filth.

There were agents embedded in every civilization since the subjugation of the Antiquorummensch. Devoted to the coming Apocalypse since then, they were around for many eons attempting to undermine and corrupt those that were pure by wearing them down from the inside.

The Cultists of Suffering that existed in the Sovereignty had huge congregations in secret and collectively wore black hooded cloaks. They listened to those with a rare connection with the Gaunt and the Antiquorummensch who were known as a Source. The Source would relay the words of the Hollow back to the followers that stood in their audience, to tell them how they could best serve their masters.

The Cult of Suffering had no species barrier, all living mortals were seen as the same in the face of the Gaunt and the Hollow. They were everywhere in the universe, although a very well kept secret up until the Great War and the Apocalypse that followed.

Some Loyalists were rewarded for their servitude by having the powers of Suffering bestowed upon them. Immortality and regeneration were such things rewarded to them. They were powers that exceeded the reality of the Old Universe, that defied the laws of that world.

Although such rewards like immortality were bestowed upon them for the sole purpose of keeping their subjects alive long enough for them to complete their tasks. Such as Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder and his family who served the Hollow fanatically since the 11th century and were responsible for the suffering and deaths of countless beings in the universe.

For eons, they eagerly awaited the Apocalypse. Awaited the promised haven of power and terror the Hollow would bring upon the universe. Nothing mattered more than that to them. To witness the universe reborn through the Gaunt as they thought it was meant to be.

But they made the mistake in thinking that the Hollow cared about them. In the end, they were subjected to the same suffering as everyone else.

The Infernal:

- Type 0 Antiquorummensch -

The corrupted remnants left behind in the wake of a Eater rampage through a star-system. They were of flesh or machine, mutated and twisted by the influence of the Eater.

The Eater would influence them. For the Wrath would bestow psychopathy and suicidal tendencies. The Plague would reanimate the dead or the living into everlasting rotten, bloated fleshbags.

They were known as the Infernal.

Eater of Mundus

Servants of Mundus, an Hollow. The Eater that served him were mindless and powerful, propagating diseases across the universe to infect and corrupt. The plague horrors were the most resilient and powerful of the Eater.

The Great Abominations and the Gluttonous swarmed the universe, eating everything they could find. They left untold amounts of galaxies behind as diseased husks for Harvesters. The Harvesters would come along and absorb those husks to create the Deaths to bring further ruin to the universe.

To the living, they were known as the "Diseased Ones". In other circles such as the Cult of Suffering, they were the Children of Mundus and ultimately, his friends that kept their Hollow company.

When one was turned into a Diseased One, they entered a tranquil world in their minds almost akin to a heaven. Their families that were eaten or turned appeared as their normal selves, the world looked clean and beautiful. Completely unaware that they died and were rotting fleshbags that shuffled along the barren surface of a diseased world. Monsters and horrors that they saw in their world were mortals not yet turned, which they attacked and killed out of fear.

And Mundus appeared to them as a benevolent God that was beautiful, serene and nothing like his real form.

Eater of Mundus

The Flood:

- Type II Eater -

A hideous Eater that was a hivemind of infinite swarm of Eater that ate entire planets within hours. They were vicious and manic, unable to stop feeding on whatever they came in contact with.

They multiplied at a rapid pace as they consumed the bio-matter of a planet. They would multiply until there was no more room on the planet. This caused them to pile up on top of each other, the pile-up often had them spilling out the atmosphere of a planet.

Individually, they never exceeded more than a couple of meters in size. They could be killed and destroyed through some exceptionally powerful weaponry.

Eater of Mundus

The Great Abomination

- Type II Eater -

Gargantuan, diseased creatures. Their flesh was pale and showed extreme necrosis. Their bodies were usually hideously deformed, grossly fat and bloated. There were many variations of Great Abominations, some were humanoid in nature and were unable to bear their unfathomable weight being upright, so they crawled on all four limbs instead. Others came in the form of a fleshy pot filled with their crumpled bones sticking through the flesh yet not piercing it. The arms that came out of the hole on the top side would allow them to drag themselves across worlds as well.

Another variant of Great Abominations was a sheet of thin pale flesh that wrapped itself around a planet like paper. It had multiple mouths across the sheet and slowly ate a planet with them. Often, the inhabitants of the planet were crushed and suffocated by this variant.

Their revolting stench created a poisonous cloud that came in a yellowish green color and suffocated worlds they were present on. Upon a closer inspection of the flesh, small wasp hive-like holes ran across their flesh and sprayed airborne diseases into the atmosphere and which turned any living being into mindless, bloated flesh-bags. The size of a Great Abomination varied, ranging from the size of a small country to being the size of a planet.

The small ones swallowed the land of planets and left a trail of blazing destruction in their wake. But the larger ones would swallow planets whole.

Sometimes, a flood would burst from their flesh and consume every living thing that lived on the planet. It was documented that a Great Abomination would not come between the Flood and their prey, instead choosing to lay idle as it waited for them to complete their consumption.

Some Great Abominations drifted aimlessly around in vacuum and they were known to accidentally collide with worlds, the impact often killing off all life on the surface, if not outright destroyed the planet. It was worth noting that they appeared to "sleep" when there was no prey around, they hibenated until awoken by the presence of prey or a planetary collision after drifting for an age. If they were large enough, they usually "sprung" themselves from a world to reach the other worlds in a star-system.

They were one of the most powerful creations of Mundus, nigh indestructible by any weapon civilizations possessed. They were known to withstand the immense power of a Wreath. They let out an excruciating drawn out shriek that destroyed ear drums and even killed people through the sheer pain of it. Those shrieks forced people to relive the worst memories they have over and over again.

It was one of the most feared things in the universe, as rare as they were; the presence of one brought untold destruction to dozens of star systems.

Eater of Mundus

The Gluttonous:

- Type III Eater -

The Gluttonous were some of the greatest Eater to have existed in the universe. They came in the form of a million fleshy tendrils masses with pale flesh that reached out from a dark void to eat planets. The rest of it remained faceless and unknown, hidden away by the rifts they created. These rifts were caused through ripping time and space apart to create a brief connection between the old universe and the Gaunt.

There was no known way of stopping a Gluttonous, not even a Wreath could harm them. For as long as they stayed within their rifts, they were invulnerable. When they spawned, a hue of a colorful spectrum was emitted around the rift and remained forever in that same spot after the creature disappeared. Not even the expansion of the universe moved it. It was speculated that the hue was damaged spacetime attempting to contract back to its normal state after such a powerful force ripped it apart.

They could grow to titanic proportions. Some of the biggest overshadowed a galaxy. Gluttonous of those sizes were of the "Munganis" class, which meant they evolved from consuming so much mass. They were also highly intelligent, capable of commanding all lesser Eater to do their bidding.

Eater of Mundus

Blood Planet:

- Type III Eater -

Conscious hulks of flesh, disease and filth created through the accumulated bio-mass of several star systems. They went on to consume more star-systems which they did to collect considerable size and mass in order to metaphase into a Harvester and unleash destruction.

A Blood Planet carried many Eater on the surface. Most were buried within the deep layers of flesh inside the planet. There was a large gathering of Blood Planets nearby the portal to the Gaunt, placed there in order to protect it and provide it with energy to keep it open.

Blood planets were at first rare to see in the beginning but their presence became prominent towards the end of the Apocalypse as the Eater raged across the universe.

When a Blood Planet entered a star system, it first consumed the star then focused on eating the planets in the system afterwards. It would open up to reveal trillions of gigantic tentacles that grasped planets and pulled them into the gaping maw to be eaten by the Blood planet and it's Eater.

The first theory behind Blood Planets was that they were the source of the Eater. The High Sovereignty assumed that if they destroyed the Blood Planets, they could slow or even prevent the spread of the Eater. This was before their discovery of the Hollow and the Gaunt.

Eater of Mundus

The Harvester:

- Type IV Eater -

Vast plague storms that ranged from the size of a star-system to the diameter of a thousand galaxies. They churned endlessly like a maelstrom, moving flesh, bone, gore and diseased filth at incredible speeds. They drifted aimlessly throughout the universe consuming more galaxies until they gave birth to Deaths.

Created through the culmination of billions of blood planets, which were smashed together that let out thick masses of blood, pus and biological matter, which gave form to this horrific creature. They ate everything they came in contact with, slowly breaking them down and absorbing them into the masses of filth they were. It could be said that they were a much weaker version of a Death, the amount of destruction they were capable of paled in comparison to a Death.

They were invincible, unable to be destroyed or stopped by any weapons and means available in the Old Universe. At first for most civilizations, they evacuated from these galaxies towards safety but it was only after they learned that these Harvesters grew more powerful and got bigger after consuming these galaxies that they had to opt for a Scorched Earth Policy and leave nothing behind for them to consume. While this was effective in curbing their growth, it did nothing to stop them from coming.

They came in the colors of sickly green, brown and a hint of white which swirled and mixed. While at a great distance, it had the appearance of a nebulae, but if viewed closer the thick masses of rotten biological matter could be seen.

Eater of Mundus

The Death:

- Type IV Eater -

They were the largest known Eater in the Old Universe. They were a mass of rotten flesh, blood, gore and filth. All of it from galaxies consumed by a Harvester. They had the appearance of a very thin, wispy-like sheet of flesh, stretched to impossible proportions.

Their size depended on how much a Harvester consumed prior to its metamorphsis but the largest officially discovered was 2/5th the size of the universe and High Sovereign data implied that it still had room to grow larger. Insinuating that a Death alone may have been able to grow large enough to eat the Old Universe.

Anything that drifted too close aged at a phenomenally rapid rate and ceased to exist. They could not be destroyed by anything in the Old Universe, anything that went near them aged and disappeared. Which made it a fruitless endeavor to attack or even attempt to stop them.

Though a Death was incomphrensibly colossal, they paled in comparison to the Eater that existed in the Gaunt, and the Gaunt itself. It surprised many scientists in the High Sovereignty that such a large and powerful Eater could exist in this universe when it was previously believed that Harvesters were the limit as to what could be put into the Old Universe by the Hollow.

Eater of Mundus

Schisms:

- Type V Eater -

Near-Godly Eater that came in abstract form. They were manifestations of Mundus' desires and emotions. This was something that was unintended by Mundus but he came to accept them as his own. They were only able to exist in the Gaunt, their power too great to pass through the portal that lesser Eater could. There were only two Schisms in existence.

The Schisms have been the subject of debate as of late in the New Universe regarding their powers and forms. For the other Hollow never had a manifestation of their own desires or feelings, just Mundus.

Their power grew just like the Hollow did. Had the Convergence Event not occurred and the Schisms had existed for longer, just what would they have been capable of? It's a scary thought that there could've been something more powerful than the Hollow or even omnipotent beings.

It's been commonly accepted according to the deciphered Slice that the Hollow were the most powerful beings to have ever existed. But new theories of the Schisms may give cause for doubt. There are some civilizations that believe that the Hollow weren't the only ones that were powerful. That there were more higher and powerful beings in the Gaunt and beyond.

Gabriel

The first servant of Mundus. It came in the appearance of a giant multi-winged creature with several eyes. Seemingly free of corruption, there was no evidence of disease in this being. Gabriel was the manifestation of Mundus' loneliness.

It had the ability to warp time and space to it's desire.

Samael

A figure of a faceless human baby inside a metallic multi-ring structure that had strange symbols etched upon them. The rings had obvious corruption, rotten flesh covered the rusty metal rings. Disease encroached the rings and appeared to be attempting to reach the baby within but was unable to. Symbolic for whatever little good there was left in him.

Samael was a manifestation of Mundus' deep desire to keep all life, alive. In that sense, everything around it would live an eternal life, unable to be destroyed or killed.

Eater of Trost

Vicious Eater that served Trost, a violent Hollow. They were great and powerful, their rage was unquenchable and unstoppable. Unmethodical, vicious and psychotic, the screams and the sudden silence as they butchered the living was their greatest pleasure.

Their rage would even drive them to slaughter their own, more often than not going toe to toe with each other after wreaking carnage on worlds. They were known for being out of control and highly suicidal. Even those that they corrupted would exhibit the same psychotic traits as the Eater that invaded galaxies.

Eater of Trost

- Type II Eater -

The Rage:

Extremely vicious horrors with phenomenal strength. They were the collective manifestation of bloodshed and drew their power from the fury of Trost himself, they rampaged through cities and towns without a single thought for self-preservation. The only concern they had was how they bloodied their multiple fists with those that they killed and how many they killed before dying. They trampled down on the defenses of their victims and dragged the occupants out to rip them apart, limb by limb.

The dozens of mouths lined with ragged teeth hungered for blood and flesh and screamed with blood-curdling fury as they mounted their charge against calvaries. Advanced weaponry obliterated their flesh but in huge hordes, they would overwhelm their enemy quickly.

There were often swarms of those Eater that covered the land in a pinkish red color as they rampaged through towns or cities. Causing seismic shockwaves as they trampled down anything in their path.

A single Rage was roughly a mile in height.

Eater of Trost

- Type II Eater -

The Wrath:

Giant masses that were the size of mountains. The longer they remained in conflict, the stronger they became. Their skin strengthened, their strength doubled and their size increased. They fed on violence, which is why they were nigh impossible to defeat in the field of battle. The only way to kill them was to immediately destroy them with powerful weaponry and prevent them from participating in the battle, to prevent them from amassing power.

They had a mass of pink, pale and reddish skin that were all assorted with the many tendrils, organs and bloated bags that their bodies were made out of.

Eater of Trost

- Type III Eater -

The Flare

Extremely powerful beings of energy. They were the invincible Eater that Trost made. Many times the size of planets, they moved around like a burst of energy. They melted and fried anything in their vicinity into nothingness.

They appeared as a bright ball of white hot light, warm bursts of light stretched out on a horizon that spewed from the ball of light would spread across an entire star-system.

There was no known way to kill or stop the Flares. It was one thing to deprive something like the Great Abominations by depriving them of worlds to consume or spread plagues but with the Flares, they would benefit greatly from the destruction of many worlds even if it wasn't them that caused the destruction.

This left only one option in dealing with them; to retreat.

Eater of Trost

- Type III Eater -

The Suffocator

Unusually tame and quiet compared to other Eater. They would creep up on planets and star-systems slowly and shroud them in a sea of thick, poisonous brown mist that would suffocate everything and everybody slowly. They were almost impossible to detect and the process of suffocation was so slow that nobody realized they were dying.

They were quite serene and beautiful compared to other Eater. Almost appearing as a divine being made of bright stars and a range of wonderful colors. It would form a tree-like shape as it approached a planet and the root would spread out across the planet until it had covered every square meter of it. It was thought that the mesmerizing nature of it fooled it's victims until it was too late.

The strangest thing about this creature was that after they had finished killing everything, they left the planet alone. Riddled with corpses and a ruined eco-system. A very unusual thing for a Eater, when it was a natural trait for them to be so violent and destructive.

Eater of Daedelus

Amalgations of madness. They were the spawn of Daedelus that sought to invoke madness and insanity in the universe. Unlike other Eater, they used psychological warfare to achieve their means of suffering.

Although one of the three main invading Eater, they were also a minority in comparison. Most of them existed within the Gaunt in search of prey, they had a foracious appetite.

Eater of Daedelus

- Type I Eater -

The Puppet:

Puppets of Daedelus. Originally, they were the guards of the Antiquorummensch, directed by Daedelus to prevent any intruder from destroying the Antiquorummensch throughout the universe. In the Apocalypse, they were sent from their posts to spark insanity in the universe and destroy the foundations of civilizations from within.

They were around 15 miles in height and 20 miles across. As they trampled on cities, their presence slowly unhinged the minds of those that saw them. Just merely seeing them was sometimes enough to drive them to suicide or mass killings.

A very rare sight, however. Their presence during the Apocalypse was rare but when they did appear, they came in the millions out of nowhere. Worlds were taken off-guard and quickly fell to them.

Although they weren't immortal, they could still be harmed and detroyed. But their insanity inducing ability made them difficult if not impossible to fight against. Mutinies, mass shootings, suicides and self-destruction became common roughly 15 hours after Puppets appeared.

Eater of Daedelus

- Type I Eater -

The Laughing Man:

Faithful servants of Daedelus. This Eater would cause any being that heard it's laughter to burst into manic laughter until the muscles in their jaws tore and snapped, killing them.

They mostly resided in the Gaunt although they were known to attack worlds at random. Often mutilating and killing entire towns or cities through their laughter that rung throughout.

The Laughing Man reached heights of 1,400 - 2,400 meters and came in the form of a skeletal humanoid with dark pink flesh wrapped around the body. The mouth was grossly stretched all the way to the sternum. The lips were ripped off, revealing gnarly long teeth. The eyes were missing, leaving sunken eye suckets. It had no nose either, covered completely by the dark pink flesh.

Despite their great heights, they did not use their physical strength to attack. Rather, they simply walked across the land and let out a non-stop manic laughter that was almost shrill in tone.

500 gigaton range nuclear warheads were effective in harming and destroying these Eater. Although for some of the bigger ones, more than one was necessary.

Eater of Daedelus

- Type II Eater -

The Illusion:

Massive floating beings with a giant shell for a head and long tentacles that sprouted from the shell they had for a body. They created illusions to trick mortals into letting them get close enough until they could grab them with the tentacles to suck them up and drag them into the Insane Realm. They exerted full control over all senses of the mortals, which made it virtually impossible for one to tell if they were under an illusion in the first place. Once a mortal saw it, they fell under it's illusion and there was no way for them to get out of it.

They ranged around the size of a city to an entire continent. Although it depended entirely on the circumstances and whether or not they wanted to be seen.

Eater of Daedelus

- Type II Eater -

The 7th Horror:

Loosely tied to Daedelus. They were powerful Eater that originated from Gaunt but became a loose cannon later on that acted on their own volition, unbound from Daedelus.

They were giant holes that drifted through galaxies, sucking in anything nearby. Whatever they sucked in would end up in the Gaunt, providing it with food.

This sparked questions in the High Sovereignty as to whether it was an independent Horror or if it was bound to an Hollow in some way. Some even proposed a link to the Antiquorummensch although at the time, their entire existence was based on speculation or rumor.

It usually sucked in planets but that was the extent of it's destruction. Stars were already too large for them to suck in.

Eater of Daedelus

- Type III Eater -

Heart of Madness:

The bloody, beating hearts that belonged to Daedelus. A trillion tentacles sprouted from the orifices of the heart and tore it's enemies apart. The Hearts did not ever stop hunting down their prey, once it had chosen a prey, it would hunt that prey for an eternity. They hid in the darkest corners of the Gaunt, waiting for prey. Once they found their prey, they reached out with their bloodied tentacles and ripped into their prey.

They often attacked warships and killed the crew inside by driving millions of tiny tentacles between the cracks they made with larger tentacles. They would tear out the crew's insides, eyeballs and teeth. They were sudden, agile and ferocious for their size too. They gave no pause to their attacks. Many warships were destroyed or ended up missing in action due to these Eater.

They were the size of an average star-system, their tentacles could extend double that size.

Eater of Daedelus

- Type IV Eater -

The Light Catcher

It was a gigantic fat mass of flesh with three tentacles that protruded around the center. And in the center, it had the ability to open up three circular holes through and through the fat mass and through them you could see whatever parallel realities they contained. Like their fellow Eater, it was another creature of vast proportions, it was compared to the mass of a Moon.

The creature was able to alter reality to a certain extent, such as causing vessels like spaceships to completely disappear, leaving behind the occupants so they could be sucked into the parallel realities it created for them.

Only one was known to have appeared in the Old Universe, strangely enough the event was well-documented when it attacked a H.S.A.F Warship in High Sovereign territories. It had stripped the occupants of a ship and left them floating in vacuum, to which it began to open up its holes to reveal what the survivors of the event said were "bizzare but strangely wonderful" parallel realities, reflecting back into the universe.

The event left 30 survivors out of 500 billion.

Eater of Larathan

Eater that raped, tortured and took the wildest pleasures or desires of those they touched and amplified them towards insanity. They were bound to Larathan, they provided it with suffering.

They preferred to corrupt the living by tempting and seducing them with their desires and flaunted opportunity in front of them. To provide their wildest dreams for a price, when their time was up, they would become a rape slave.

Many Loyalists and Acolytes spread the word of this Hollow throughout the universe to bring more under it's fold. Many civilizations fell from the inside due to Larathan's hedonistic corruption that drove mortals to perform crazed blood orgies all day.

Even those that did not have sexual desires or genders fell to Larathan's seduction. A simple desire was all it needed to sway one to her side. Save for the emotionless and machine races of the universe.

Although they did not have Eater like Daedelus, Mundus or Trost did. Rather, they had small and weak Eater that inflitrated civilizations, raping and fulfilling their cravings. Many were simple manifestations or grossly deformed abominations with multiple protruding tentacles.

The power of these Eater was not brute force or sheer power. Their power was seduction, temptation and most of all, opportunity. Larathan knew that the others would eventually destroy the universe and simply waited until the Apocalypse had come. It was then that it would be able to truly seduce all to give into their inner desires to gain unlimited suffering.

The Kardashev Civilization Scale

A scale designed to measure the technological capabilities of a civilization. Created to categorize civilizations in the universe. Separated into different Types that was based on the energy that was used to power their civilization.

Type 0:

The lowest Type registered on the scale. A civilization of this type has the capacity to harness all the energy their home planet has to offer. This includes volcanoes, the weather and earthquakes.

Type I:

The first stage towards becoming an advanced civilization begins here. To have the ability to not only harness the total energy output of a star but to control the star as well. One method is to create a Dyson Ring or Sphere to encapsulate the local star and extract all energy into the structure to be used late. This kind of energy could also come in the form of a very powerful fusion reactor that would drain energy from hydrogen-based planets which would be a sufficient alternative. Although the most common method is to siphon energy from a local star.

A civilization of this type or above can essentially duck natural extinction.

Type II:

A truly advanced civilization, with the capability to harness the energy of an entire galaxy. Those civilizations have the ability to eradicate entire galaxies at will and operate black holes. Usually, a swarm of machines is sent throughout the galaxy to produce Dyson Spheres around every star and harvest the energy output of an entire galaxy.

Type III:

Capable of harnessing the energy of multiple galaxies. They went beyond most civilizations and this was where most faced a wall in terms of technological advancement. Not only was it difficult to control a civilization across multiple galaxies but they bore the risk of encountering another civilization that could've waged war on them.

Type IV:

Beyond any other civilization, a civilization of this magnitude learned to harness the energy of an entire universe. Capable of transversing the accelerating expansion of space. They often lived in super-massive black holes.

Type V:

Only one had ever managed to reach this stage, the Eateru. Technically, they didn't belong on this scale as they literally did not need technology anymore. They had learned how to manipulate the universe itself from their ability to transverse between all 8 dimensions at will.

They had learned how to create multiple pocket universes that they used to experiment with. Sometimes, they created life of their own and allowed nature to take its course.

A civilization of this type was the closest one could've been to the power of the Dark Gods themselves. And even then, there was still a vast gap that they would've never surpassed.

The High Sovereignty of the Colonies

Originally named the High Sovereignty, it was founded 400 million years ago by Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder who after his false death in the year 2240 stayed in hiding and ruled by proxy through the High Sovereign Government and his puppet family members. Once a multi-galaxy spanning civilization until the 405th megaannum when the Great War ravaged the United Galaxies. The Great War lasted until the 500th megaannum, which left them with only three galaxies. At the turn of the 550th megaannum, the Great Horrors of the Apocalypse finally swarmed and destroyed what was left of the High Sovereignty.

The High Sovereignty began as a post-scarcity civilization in the 100th century that was a type I civilization on the Kardashev scale. The society was utopian in nature, machines and automations with Artifical Intelligence began taking over in labor duties while civilians delved into space exploration, hobbies and their studies of the universe.

35 million years later, they had Dyson Rings and Spheres that encapsulated every star in the United Galaxies. Advanced nanotechnology enabled humanity to build their civilization with ease, the very rings of the Dysons had nano-factories that built everything they needed from scratch using the energy of the star they surrounded.

This was known as the Enlightenment Era and the technology of the time was referred to as E.E.T. Very little of the Enlightment Era was left in the archives of the High Sovereignty and was lost due to corruption, lack of maintenance or destruction from the Great War.

When the Great War began in the 405th megaannum, they originally used A.I drone machines that had self-replicating nano-technology installed which enabled them to split up into smaller machines if the larger machines were destroyed. Humanity was able to keep the Xenomorphs at bay for five thousand years but at a great cost, they lost their technology, the Dyson Rings and Spheres, their incredible nano-technology was all but spent and utterly destroyed in the war.

The Dyson Rings and Spheres were nothing but colossal debris left behind in the ruins of the Great War. Nobody knew how to use them or what their purpose were anymore, they were nothing more than large hunks of metal to the humans in the High Sovereignty.

After nearly 365 million years of A.I supremacy, humanity was all but gone, all but Feroy. Every human existed within a paradisal simulation where they lived infinite lives through it. This was what allowed Feroy Vlad Wonder to intervene and use the drones to attack straggling civilizations who were fleeing the Great Horrors.

When the war had finally destroyed all Enlightenment Era tech, humans were brought back from extinction under Feroy Vlad Wonder's rule. They were forced to adapt and begin using human soldiers along with ancient technology from pre-origin times with reverse engineered rediscovered Enlightment Era technology that allowed them to continue fighting the war.

Over the period of 95 million years, society along with its technology had also gradually devolved into a totalitarian regime in response to the increased violence, crime and refugee crisis that was the result of the war. Many ships that had traveled for years flooded the cities that were already overpopulated. As the technology worsened, so too did society until its demise in the 550th megaannum.

Currency was reintroduced into society again as the primary source of living wages, people were forced to work long hours in order to meet a quota for the H.S.G and contribute to the Sovereignty War Production quota as well. The H.S.M.P was militarized and the entirety of the H.S.A.F were sent to the front-line with very few reserves that remained on military planets as back-up or to control the populace.

Civil war sparked on several planets as non-altered and altered people alike were not happy with the brutality of the regime and its enforcers that shot down protesters, even peaceful ones in cold blood and used nuclear weapon on cities that were deemed underperforming or undesirable by the government.

It all began in 2018 when Earth was invaded by Sirens, an alien civilization that was fleeing the Great Horrors after fighting them off for 1,000 years and sought a new home. In their extremely weakened and malnourished state, they were desperate. The majority of their fleets and technology were destroyed. They were forced to resort to ancient technology. They could not afford a loss against the Humans. They destroyed the Moon to bring about catastrophic natural disasters on Earth and displace their defenses.

The Sirens landed their war machines on Earth. It only took 4 hours before the war was over and the Human militaries were soundly defeated. On the brink of extinction, the Eateru intervened and forced the Sirens to flee. In the aftermath, Earth's ecosystem was beyond repair and was failing. With the technology and knowledge the Eateru offered to the Humans, they managed to create an ecosystem dome around the planet that delayed the eventual collapse of the entire ecosystem.

It was at this moment that Feroy seized the opportunity to reveal his magnum opus, given to him by the Dark Gods, the Noah's Ark. It would later on be known as the Origin Ship that transported humanity across the stars and saved their species. The Origin Ship was completed in the year 2200 and the maiden voyage took place in the year 2205. They floated around in deep space for 400 years before finally discovering a habitable world that could sustain life, human life.

That world was Lorthon, the heart of what would later on be the High Sovereignty of the Colonies. When they landed, the new generation of human beings were raised with Feroy as their Emperor. While Feroy had his trump card, the blueprints and knowledge of everything they had in the last civilization, he could rule without opposition. For he was the one with the keys to all the doors and everybody needed what he had. They followed him blindly.

The High Sovereignty of the Colonies

Civilians

For those who were genetically unaltered, it was a living nightmare. To witness the harsh and cruel reality of living under a crumbling civilization after several milennia of war. For the rest who underwent mandatory genetic alterations, they were dumbed down and made to be obedient to those above them. They were slow and shambled from place to place. With little to no thought or desires for themselves, they were worked to death in war production factories. But they had a kill switch installed that drove any Altered Human into a killing frenzy if faced with a "traitorous enemy" and they would try to kill any perceived traitors via any means they found. While the rich and powerful were genetically altered to live long lifespans, be stronger and have higher intelligence than their peers.

It was a form of control masterminded by Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder a few centuries prior the Great War. To prevent an uprising by citizens when the "changeover" happened. Although this didn't go to plan, there were some who resisted and refused the genetic alterations. They protested and rioted against the government and refused to work. They were quickly mowed down by the H.S.M.P in the streets, their families caught and executed for association and their cities bombed to rubble. New cities were built upon the bedrock of skeletons.

After that, most of the unaltered humans realized they couldn't fight against the High Sovereignty. So they learned to blend in with the environment, to mimic their fellow altered humans to avoid suspicion. Still, there were some that were determined to fight for their freedom and those groups cropped up every once in a while. They often met the same fate as their predecessors. With the occassional few managing to inflict some damage on some worlds that weren't as militarized as others.

Most unaltered humans who were caught were publicly executed on the spot. It was a genocide to eradicate the Unaltered. Some were interrogated and tortured for questioning until they were psychologically broken. The H.S.M.P often made those who they tortured believe that they were on the High Sovereignty's side, so they would lead the Military Police to their families or resistance groups.

This crackdown pushed many Unaltered into areas rife with crime to escape, where they knew the cartels and gangs there would certainly deter the H.S.M.P from going in. Later on, the H.S.M.P created an off-branch known as the Death Squad to enter crime-ridden zones and exterminate any Unaltered.

The mega-blocks civilians lived in were crammed, cold, metallic and offered no comfort. Domestic disputes were resolved amongst themselves without the involvement of Military Police as they never cared to intervene in the first place. This resulted in a spike in homicide rates. The mass manufactured food was dull but gave all the nutrients needed.

Mandatory Education Centers (M.E.C)

Education was considered the lowest priority in the Sovereignty due to the Altering Gene. The main purpose of MECs was to teach people how to perform their jobs.

There were three modules designed for different age groups:

  • Infant Category (0 - 5)

  • Preteen Category (5 - 10)

  • Adult Category (10 - 18)

The Infant category consisted of basic education programs (B.E.Ps) in languages, mathematics and science. The Preteen category had a mixture of the basic programs along with an introduction to Work Performance Programs (W.P.Ps) While the Adult category delved into work performance and discarded BEPs.

This was deemed the most efficient system to produce workers rather than intellectuals and worked well with the Alteration Program. While the Unaltered attended MECs as part of blending in, they were often home-schooled by parents during afterhours and were taught a great deal more than what they learned in MECs. Although they had to suppress that knowledge in order to appear as an Altered.

The Blocks

The name of the mega-block sprawl that covered the majority of the cities, mega-cities and great-cities. They were the living space of civilians.

The blocks had a simple look to them. There were countless mega-blocks that went on for thousands of miles. The mega-blocks were blocky and white with a hint of grey, with the appearance of concrete for the structure walls and slots for windows. The streets were open, dusty and deserted most of the time. They were also vast, reaching widths of a few kilometers apart.

The mega-blocks were divided into a tidy grid system all around the planet. Each street identical to another. Outside the grids were enormous walls almost as tall as the mega-blocks themselves that was made from the same material. They were there to divide each tier from another and were only passable through gates that had heavy military presence.

Each tier was divided based on wealth & power status. The lower tiers were often crime-ridden, completely taken over by gangs and cartels. There was little to no maintenance for the Blocks, that resulted in Blocks crumbling to ruins and toppling over or becoming extremely fragile and broken. Civilians set up make-shift houses among the ruins of the Blocks. Criminals, gangs and cartels often lived in the underground of the Blocks to hide, avoid detection by the H.S.M.P and fortify defenses against Death Watch Squads.

The low tiers had no supply lines running from the H.S.G, that meant civilians had to rely on gangs and cartels to access the black market and obtain necessities for survival. That put them in debt and often dragged them into a life of crime as well. Those who refused to pay that debt were killed or "prossed". "Prossed" is a horrific process where a person had their teeth pulled out and they were forced to be sex slaves for the gang or cartel memebers.

The higher tiers had a huge swarm of gigantic monolithic Blocks that hovered mid-air. They were called "Holos". The wealthiest and powerful lived in them. The Holos were the last remnants of Enlightenment Era technology they had. This monolithic hovering technology provided no useful military applications and eventually found use in structural engineering. The quality of life inside the Holos was significantly better than the lower tiers. Advanced technology, cleaner air, larger spaces and ease of access to things.

At the very top tier, was the Spire. The Spire housed the top 1% of the wealthiest and powerful figures in the High Sovereignty. It is also where the main government body is stationed along with crucial components such as the H.S.M.P and H.S.A.F headquarters. In Lorthon, it's the home of Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder and his family.

Inside those buildings were again another grid-like layout for the apartments of the residents. A square-grid formation that surrounded a central elevator system that is the primary use of transport in the blocks. There were supermarkets, schools, hospitals, factories and all sorts of necessities installed in them as well. Everyday life existed mostly in the Blocks.

Each Block was roughly 20 miles in height and had an area of 783.8 square kilometers. Since they were so big, it became easy to get lost and end up starving to death in the Blocks. That's why there was a mandatory transponder device issued to civilians to locate their positions inside each Block.

People lived and died in the Blocks, everything people needed existed inside them. The elevators costed a lot of money, this made it next to impossible for civilians that lived on high floors to ever leave and there was no staircase.

Due to the size and distance in the streets of the blocks, the only way to travel through them efficiently was via the Bolt, a powerful hovercraft. The mega-blocks were designed to withstand 500 gigaton range nuclear weaponry and more which was more than enough to protect against the immense speeds the Bolt traveled at.

The Bolt

A very large hovercraft that was intended to transport people back and forth throughout the Blocks. It could travel at Mach 10 but was able to go up to Mach 15. There were magnetic shields that were used to guide the Bolt throughout the streets without colliding into any Blocks. It was powered by a small, contained black hole deep within the core.

The Bolt was extremely expensive and was rare to see. It was used by the wealthy and powerful mostly to travel throughout the Blocks. But it also saw use by the H.S.M.P to transport soldiers to affected areas that needed reinforcements.

The High Sovereignty of the Colonies

The Wealthy & Powerful

The upper echelons of the Sovereignty were beyond the law and the likes of civilians. Almost always engaged in depraved hedonistic orgies that with their genetically altered bodies, could last for months without end.

They were more intelligent, stronger, faster and lived longer than the non-altered. This gave them a significant advantage over them and allowed them to keep full control without a rebellion or any form of resistance. And not only that but they had more food, money and power than they knew what to do with.

But even the wealthy and powerful bowed to the Wonder Dynasty. For they held the key to the kingdom and had true power in the Sovereignty. Nobody was above them and if any crossed them, they were dealt with. An infamous case was the Emperson Conspiracy, where several members of the rival Emperson Royal Family were caught conspiring against the Wonder Family and attempted to supplant them.

The entirety of the Emperson Family was sentenced to Familial Regression. Which resulted in their entire family becoming a cirus of genetically inbred creatures after several hundreds of years of forced incestual inbreeding. To produce defective children that were put into an arena to fight to the death with their own genetically-altered family members that were mutated into hideous giants, called Aborgals.

Eventually, all respect, dignity and power the Emperson Family once had in the history books were eradicated through this. Each Head of the Wonder Family owned an Aborgal that was once of the Emperson Family and brought them with them everywhere they went, parading them about.

It was the very first and last demonstration of the Wonder Family's power, no one dared attempted another coup.

They had the highest level of education and were well-spoken and intelligent people. The fashion among the rich and powerful inclined towards 18th and 19th century high class clothing along with some slight modern improvements and additions such as wild make-up and hair colors. Much of their time that was not spent consorting in orgies were spent locked in philosophical debates, chess and writing or studying. Clearly inspired by the Enlightenment Era, they wanted to follow in their footsteps whilst sating their hedonistic urges.

Within the inner circles of the Great-Cities, beyond the Holo line, was a beautiful sanctuary decorated with well-crafted gardens that stretched on forever. This is was where the most powerful and wealthy liked to live. Although most preferred to live inside the White Spires, which the interior was coated in gold and had enough comforts to make anyone forget about the outside world.

The ones that lived in the Sanctuary liked to live in modernized mansions of the 18th and 19th century. Some even liked castles from the 15th century.

Clothing

To keep up demand for the majority of the populace, the Sovereignty opted to use a single fabric that had a "one fits all" purpose for mass production. That meant shirts, pants and shoes were made of this material. These clothes could be worn indoors.

But outside, a "Zipper" had to be worn at all times. A simple overall with a zipper that covered their bodies that came in plain colors such as navy blue or grey.

For the wealthy and powerful, they wore clothing from pre-origin times. Suits and bowties were common amongst the men and lavish dresses for the women. Although they were used for events or meetings. They rarely wore clothes as they were almost always engaged in an orgy and some even opted to not wear clothes at all, having succumbed to their depravity.

The High Sovereignty of the Colonies

Diet

Due to the extremely high population; meat and vegetables cannot be mass produced in order to keep up with demand. They have opted for an artifical type of food that provides necessary minerals and vitamins the body needs called VIT. It will provide a steady number of calories, a steady amount of protein, fats, fibre, carbohydrates and sugar. The food tastes like water but there have been a recent black market invention of food flavoring which can be poured and mixed with VIT to produce tastes. Demand for flavors have quickly been rising in demand and the Sovereignty is looking to create their own and shut down any competition in order to exert more control over people by being the only source available to people.

Manners

Regular people are often apathetic to others around them. Too busy to worry about anybody else as they have to work their hours and ensure they fill their quotas. However, familial ties are strong and they show strong emotional affection towards family members. Similar to pre origin times but worse, if there is somebody in danger or is dying, people will not try to help. The medical bills will be charged to the person who helps them or calls for aid and it is known to be extremely expensive.

For the most part, people still behave like humans but with the fear of repercussions for any of their actions at any moment. They are usually quiet and keep their heads down. In the public, people express love and excitement for the Sovereignty but in private, people are very unhappy.

Medicine

Far more advanced than pre origin times, they have made breakthroughs in many areas. They can replace almost every part of the body with a machine counterpart except the brain and the skin. But they have lacked strides in others, such as anti-biotics and mental health which has remained virtually the same as pre origin times. The reason for this is on the year of the origin ship exodus, they had already eradicated diseases and viruses. They came to a world that contained none and as a result, they never needed to worry about these things until they began exploring and brought back many diseases. There were many outbreaks before they finally realized that the containment of bacteria and viruses were crucial to keeping the populace alive. They recovered little data from the origin ship and produced some vaccines and anti-biotic technology.

The regular and poor folks cannot gain access to anything more than immunization shots and jabs during early stages of their lives and the occasional jabs that are administered later in life as adults. Anethesia is not used for operations or wounded patients who cannot afford it, which has created a culture where people will do favors in order to receive medical benefits; some are sexual and some are illegal. It's the only way people can survive in this society and there was once a group that protested for more medical benefits but they were shut down quickly via a firing squad. Since then, nobody tries to ask for medical benefits and resort to the black market or bribery.

The rich and important are given all benefits of medical treatment. But the necessity of that is extremely rare due to the fact that most rich people and important members of society have already replaced most of their body parts with machinery. This has prolonged their lives upwards to a thousand years but death can still happen through brain death or outdated technology malfunctioning.

  • Services provided by the Sovereignty:

Most services are provided by the Black Council who oversee everything. The HSMP will carry out the services though. There aren't a whole lot of services they offer, however. They will provide security, food, medicine, basic housing & essentials but mostly security is the primary service they offer.

The High Sovereignty of the Colonies

Businesses

The biggest business in the sovereignty is war. War is a gold mine for those who know how to tap into it. The company Wonder Machine is the biggest producer of war equipment and machinery. Started out as a pre origin ship history study, a group of historians unraveled the secrets of the old world where they came from and the military took interest in it. The history study was called Wonder Machine, named after Lord Randolph Vlad Wonder who was a man of brilliance and understood that history was of vital importance in the success of future civilizations. Though his vision was not war, it was prosperity and peace. If he could see what his creation had become today, he would be very disappointed and angered.

Other small businesses cannot compete with Wonder Machine in the inner rings of the Sovereignty, they cater to small outposts far away from the heart of the Sovereignty and have built their factories and mining structures there for the convenience of HSAF soldiers. Small time companies such as Farlon Hystems, Gearworks and Dynamo are some such companies that will produce only war equipment for far away colonies or outposts in the galaxy. Due to the small size of their companies, they cannot branch out into other areas like Wonder Machine can, like biotechnics, virtual reality, space exploration and also provides the majority of the supply of food, water, necessities and essentials for civilians and soldiers in the Sovereignty.

They have entire worlds filled with factories and mining machines, fully automated and has no other purpose than to produce goods. The board of executives who run the company are very influential people in the politics of the Sovereignty and have a big hand to play should things not shift into their favor. It is the Wonder Machine that is the driving force behind most technology and buildings they possess. Their overabundance of wealth has allowed them to control a number of uninhabitable dwarf planets to use as factories and mining stations to maximize production and revenue. Something that very few companies can say they can do.

It is believed the reason behind the Wonder Machine's tremendous success that has ran for nearly as long as humans were present in the Elysium Star System is because they are in the possession of all the blueprints from pre origin Earth. All the data and information they hold is extremely valuable and is even referred as "the building blocks of civilization". They hold secrets that have been forgotten by the humans of today, secrets that would make the quality of life better by a significant margin. Some conspiracies amongst politicans has it that the Wonder Machine willingly withholds a lot of secrets to use for themselves.

Wonder Machine was recently recognized as the official supplier for the Sovereignty and as a result, smaller companies are dying out rapidly. The Wonder Machine will eventually be able to outsource outposts and far away planets as bases of revenue, negating the need for the tiny niche small companies have over them.

Currency

Credits are non-physical objects that are used to purchase anything in the Sovereignty. They are electronically transferred through a cyber-space that has no way to be manipulated by outside forces, it is theft proof and cannot be altered to favor any other. It is an independent self-rewriting system that has nobody controlling it.

People are given a weekly work quota to meet and once their hours are met, credits will be placed on their profiles for usage. They can be used at any location in the Sovereignty, they need only touch a pad that can detect their DNA and the transaction will be performed immediately. This old system is being swapped out for a new and thief proof system by introducing cameras with pseudo-AI cameras that will be able to detect any distress, conflict or extortion. Though the HSMP do not particularly care about petty theft or theft crimes, they will overlook them half the time unless it concerns a person of importance.

Currency is everything in this society, there are no social security programs to help the poor or homeless. You must land a job and work your quota hours otherwise you will starve and die. Most poor or homeless people resort to crime to survive, they usually flee to Loned into the Snatch where the HSMP can't reach them. Though raids are frequently carried out, they only target high level criminals and ignore everybody else unless they get in their way.

Communications

Most communication is audio, rarely using text devices. Advanced technology has enabled almost instaneous communication between arrays in deep space for ships, stations, planets and outposts.

The High Sovereignty of the Colonies

Population and territory

The High Sovereignty was previously in control of thirty galaxies, each one had roughly 100 - 200 billion worlds. Each world contained 500 cities and 50 mega-cities which were spread out and connected through mega-highways for efficient transport. There was a Great-City for every million worlds that existed in High Sovereign space. This was mostly lost when the End-War began, the High Sovereignty lost 27 galaxies and forced the High Sovereignty to construct Great-Cities to cram as many civilians as possible into the remaining 3 galaxies they had.

Cities

Usually filled with skyscrapers and war production buildings, they are ordinary sized and do not possess much military strength. They are considered low- priority by the Sovereignty due to their low production counts and as a result, they are less protected and can end up becoming slums which will prompt people to leave these cities and move to a world with mega-cities.

There are many cities lying on the outskirts of a mega-city or a great-city with the exception of Lorthon; which is mostly an irradiated wasteland hostile to all life. They mostly act as power generators or production assistants rather than actual population centers. There isn't much work to be found in a city, which is why they're so low populated half the time. They're also amongst the first to get overwhelmed and destroyed in an invasion which has led people to desire the safety of a larger city. There can be up to around 1 million cities surrounding a great-city of a mega-city.

A city usually have 30 billion people living in them, larger ones can hold up to 100 billion.

Mega-cities:

Mega-cities filled with mega-blocks will house from 500,000 to 500 million people. Each house inside the blocks are roughly the size of a small apartment designed for families of up to 12 children. There will be a kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom that will allow up to 14 small beds to fit. Some newer designs have allowed for a living room or an entertainment room but they're not very large at all and might allow some room for board games. The houses are crammed right next to each other and the mega-block design does not space any space, every feet of space will be used for housing. There are no courts, no quad areas or any kind of public area to loiter around. People travel in elevators to reach their floors, staircases are rarely built anymore in the event of fires or emergencies. People are encouraged to wait for rescue instead of rescuing themselves. Although due to the materials used for the structures, fires are an extremely rare occurance short of an electrical fire that can still occur with liquids or other loosely secured materials.

There are also hardly any windows which the original design was to protect against asteroid impacts or nuclear weapons but have been kept around in favor of preventing suicides. The materials used for the buildings is mostly Druminlumun that is the strongest metal known to humans to support the structures through beams and reinforcements of heavy concrete which is usually 5 meters - 10 meters thick.

Shootings, gang crime, executions and murder sprees are common in the mega-blocks. There is little to nothing people can do but hope the HSMP responds in the vast and busy mega-cities.

Mega-cities usually have 700 trillion people, the larger ones can hold up to 30 quadrillion people.

Great-cities:

Mega-cities of vast proportions, they had the biggest buildings, biggest populations, the highest war production and the heaviest military presence in the Sovereignty. There are four great-cities in the Sovereignty, including Lorthon. These great-cities are designed to defend against powerful weaponry such as nuclear weapons or asteroid impacts, the huge mega-blocks can act as war bunkers and have strong shields that will activate in the event of war. These great-cities can have population counts of upwards to 10 trillion in a single city, they are overcrowded and are very hostile environments for the average civilian. Workplace accidents, machinery accidents and crime is rife in them.

It is considered the safest place in the Sovereignty to live despite it's notoriety for crime, heavy corruption and a very brutal HSMP force.

A Great-city will usually have 500 sextillion people but larger ones such as Lorthon has populations of up to 5 octillion.

The High Sovereignty of the Colonies

War on Xenomorphs Movement:

For many centuries the Sovereignty's Armed Forces have been aggressively expanding throughout the galaxy trying to claim as many worlds as possible so they can manufacture more weapons and machines of war. Not only that but to increase business profits as well for the number one manufacturer in the Sovereignty the Wonder Machine. This has brought together a coalition of alien factions determined to destroy the Sovereignty and it's armies. The HSAF will typically obliterate the surface with their Gigaton range nuclear weapons to make it uninhabitable for any biological life forms then construct major factories that will be operated by machines mostly.

This aggressive expansion policy enacted by the Council has caused tensions to rise amongst the Seraphim who already disprove of the Morthe war that was caused by the Sovereignty. The Seraphim believe that the aggressive expansion will cause more factions to rally to the Morthe cause and bring more pressure on the frontlines on top of having to deal with the Suffering Legions. The Seraphim do not approve of killing aliens and prefer to ally with them whenever possible, they do not partake in the war against the Morthe factions and only fight against the Suffering Legions.

The Troid:

Used by the Sovereignty and the Wonder Family to pit dissenting political figures against each other in a deathmatch to fight for their survival. It was very common during the early days of the High Sovereignty to see the Gladiatoral Arena in use and the bloodshed of many men and women was shown to everybody. This was a show of terror and brutality intended to show the enemies of the Sovereignty and especially the Wonder Family that disloyalty would not be tolerated.

They usually put Aborgals in the arena to rip the limbs off the combatants and eat them. The Aborgals were former political opponents who through a combination of torture and genetic engineering, were transformed into large and strong mutants that could not control their own bodies, they would also have to watch themselves kill innocents and feel every ounce of pain. They were often members of the combatant's family and they specifically engineered the Aborgals to make sure that they were recognizable by retaining all the face and hair features. The combatants would be torn apart by the ones they loved and would scream as their limbs were ripped off, it was a trait that the Sovereignty hammered deep within the Aborgals; to rip them apart and let them die slowly in agony rather than outright kill them. When the Aborgals were done killing, they would be stowed away deep underground in the sewers until they were needed again.

Some of the Wonder Family members opted to use the Aborgals of their rival families for entertainment, they liked to see them tortured and perform tricks for them. They were kept as pets and during the early days of the Sovereignty, Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder had dozens of them as his pets. He liked to parade them around in the public and used them to torture his enemies. If an Aborgal has outlived their usefulness, they are usually stuffed into a meat grinder and forcefed to the families of the former Aborgal.

The Emperson Family Conspiracy

This practice recently reemerged with the Emperson Family's conspiracy.

The Gladiatoral Arena was not used very often as there was hardly anybody opposing the Sovereignty or the Wonder Family. Until it found recent use when during the Second Great Apocalypse, the Emperson Royal Family was caught conspiring against the Wonder Family and as a result, almost every single member except two was put in the arena. Half of them were turned into Aborgals, trained to slaughter their own kin and the two left were siblings who were made to watch as this unfolded. When the bloodbath was finally over, they were forced by the Wonder Family to birth new children of their own so the family would never die. They were made to give birth to many children but as soon as they became old enough at the age of ten years old, they were taken and put in the Gladitoral Arena as cannon fodder.

This would continue on for the rest of their lives and their children would endure it too. It seems that Lord Hannes Vlad Wonder did not want the Emperson family to completely die out, he would not grant them that honor. The honor of dying out with dignity, he wanted them to breed horribly deformed children through generations of incestual sex and destroy the once proud image of the family. They would survive as a reminder of how harsh the Sovereignty can be.

The Emperson family was utterly destroyed by the Wonder Family through a vicious scheme that saw to it that they would never have the strength again to oppose the Wonder Family or the Sovereignty. Since this happened, other families have become very wary and cautious as a result. It also sparked a lot of controversy amongst the public but that was stifled quickly enough with numerous public executions and public torture on the streets by the death squads.

Since then, the Gladiatoral Arena is in constant use to pit the deformed children of the Emperson family against their own kin turned into Aborgals. It isn't very popular amongst citizens but many still attend to watch, they watch out of fear of repercussions from the HSMP rather than actual desire to watch the bloodthirsty games play out.

The arena is open to the general public to spectate and anybody is allowed to fight in the ring. It's one of the few forms of entertainment allowed in the Sovereignty and is used as a propaganda tool to not only strike fear in people but to bring them pleasure and joy through seeing people punished.

The High Sovereignty of the Colonies

Part One: The Great War

During the Enlightenment Era, there were many civilizations fleeing the Great Horrors to safety. Feroy Vlad Wonder ordered their A.I drone defense system to open fire on their vessels and destroy them. Triggering the Great War and set up the scene to transform the Sovereignty into the brutal and totalitarian civilization it became later on.

In anger and fear, many Xenomorph civilizations that were fleeing towards the Sovereignty invaded the United Galaxies of the High Sovereignty and chaos ensued. After 5,000 years, all their Enlightenment Era technology was destroyed and they lost most of the United Galaxies during the conflict.

It led to a huge portion of the Sovereignty's strength diminishing and they had to revert back to ancient technology reverse engineered with rediscovered Enlightenment Era technology along with genetically enhanced soldiers. A totalitarian lifestyle was forced onto the citizens of the civilization as a means of control in harsh times to contain the refugees and criminals that were created from the conflict. Not only that but as a means to produce suffering, pain and death for the Dark Gods, whom Feroy Vlad Wonder served.

As the war raged, an untold amount of refugees fled from the United Galaxies towards the Heart of the Sovereignty and its Great-cities. Inside the enormous warships they fled in, an era of hunger games broke out as the soldiers were unable to feed the refugees. This brought a mass slaughter as people began to fight each other for food and power, this caused cannibalism to take place as people starved and became desperate.

After several decades of traveling through deep space, the warships usually arrived with less than one-fourth of the initial refugees that boarded the ships. When they landed, the refugees were dumped into desginated refugee quadrants that were meant to keep them contained. They failed and the situation degenerated into chaotic civil uprisings which gave strength to criminal gangs and cartels as people turned to them for help.

The population on worlds spiraled out of control as more refugees piled on, resources diminished and crime rates went up. Civilians and refugees alike fought amongst each other and against the police, which led to the total failure of the designated refugee quadrants and the refugees began to flow into the main populace that created more violence and chaos.

It didn't take long for the High Sovereign Government to pass a decree that militarized the High Sovereign Police in order to control the uncontrollable crime epidemic and disobedience that raged throughout the colonies.

The military police now had executive authority to arrest, detain or execute people immediately regardless of whether or not there was a cause to suspect a crime has been committed. They were provided with military grade weaponry save for forbidden tier 3 weaponry that was too powerful to be used in civilian environments.

Initially, the militarized police decree was a success at keeping crime and the people obedient but that success was short lived as more refugees piled on top of them. Powerful gangs and cartels formed that catered to people and were seen as the savior of the people as opposed to the government. This triggered the purification campaign to wipe out the lower quadrants of the Great-cities of criminal gangs and cartels which involved the creation of a heavily militarized unit known as the Death Squad to handle it.

The Death Squad was named so to strike fear in people and create a reluctance to disobey. This squad had full access to military grade weaponry save for Wreaths and nuclear auto-cannons. This war brought a high amount of casualities to the cities and brought ruin to many cities.

As the Purification Campaign went on, the regime was more brutal and harsh on people. To keep up demand for war munitions and weaponry for the Great War, future generations of newborns underwent CRISPR gene editing used for soldiers to dumb them down and make them more compliant. While the rich and powerful were altered to have longer lifespans, increased intelligence and immunity to most genetic diseases.

Although the genetic alteration didn't reach everybody, there were still unaltered humans wandering around and that led to the government hunting them down and systematically exterminating them. Unaltered humans had to act like altered humans in order to deflect suspicion and survive. There were routine interviews, scans and random raids on suspected mega-blocks.

Civilians worked a total of 150 hours a week with minimal breaks. Workplaces were armed with military police personnel who brutalized or shot workers that either refused to work or collapsed from exhaustion. This was done to intimidate other workers into compliance.

Protests were shut down immediately with gunfire and explosives, even peaceful ones. This led to riots and dissent in the streets which were also shut down with gunfire. The civilian populace tried to steal weapons from war factories to use against their government but the lack of training, armor and numbers made it impossible for civilians to fight the government.

They eventually turned to cartels and gangs to fight against the government. Although the cartels and gangs didn't care about overthrowing the government, after all it was the government that provided them with the money that enabled the lifestyle they lived. Soon, the government decided to take advantage of the cartel/gang situation and armed certain gangs against each other that brought about a cartel war in the lower quadrants, especially Loned.

This took a huge pressure off the military police and gave them some breathing room as they fought amongst each other. They did not let the momentum go to waste and sent many Death Squad convoys into crime infested locations to purge criminals. This became a vicious circle that never ended, hope of progress was eventually abandoned by the government and they continued military police operations to keep up appearances to the public that something was being done about the Purification Campaign.

As for the Great War on the front-lines, it was a massacre. Soldiers were demoralized, every battle that was won was short lived as the Xenomorphs pushed into High Sovereign territory. The pressure from multiple fronts as many Xenormorph civilizations attacked the Sovereignty made it nearly impossible for the Armed Forces to defend themselves. They often initiated Wreaths on galaxies they deemed lost to deny the Xenomorph forces space and resources to control for their fleets which accumulated for the majority of galaxy losses.

At the peak of the Great War, every civilization in the entire universe fought each other. The Sovereignty ended up being right in the middle of it all. Entire civilizations were wiped out at an alarming rate, galaxies were disappearing in the night sky as they were obliterated until there was pitch black darkness left behind. When the Theta joined the fray, the war took a nosedive into Hell as they exterminated everything in their path.

The High Sovereignty of the Colonies

Part Two: The Apocalypse

Many in the Sovereignty saw the Theta as their savior while some saw a greater threat to their way of life. It was true that the Theta invasions softened up the Sovereignty's enemies and made it easier for the Armed Forces to fight back against them while they were distracted fighting an advanced enemy. But that boon soon turned into a curse as the Theta set their sights on the High Sovereignty and eradicated most of their infrastructure and military.

With the Theta wiping out both humans and xenomorphs, people thought that the Theta would be the end of everything. But little did they know that the Great Horrors, an ancient and apocalyptic threat would soon reach them.

It became a realization for the humans that the Theta was not trying to conquer the universe but instead they were trying to halt the spread of the Great Horrors before they amassed enough to swamp the entire universe.

But that stopped mattering to the humans as they faced a greater threat than the Theta now with no way to defeat it. It was a war to survive rather a war to win.

Order was practically non-existent during the last decade of the Apocalypse. Only the rich and powerful managed to stay safe in their gated communities while civilians starved and suffered. They ate each other alive, raped each other and chaos was rampant throughout the Sovereignty.

The H.S.A.F was scattered, their fleets were utterly destroyed and there was little over 10 billion soldiers left in the ranks, who were all demoralized and their sanity hung on by a thread. Mutinies and deserting were common in the armed forces. Civilians that formed rebel groups rioted in the streets of the remaining Great-Cities, mountains of corpses burned and filled the air with death as the military police opened fire on rebels.

The corridors of the Blocks were filled with corpses of people who died from starvation or dehydration. Sanitation no longer existed, the stink of sewage and the rot of corpses filled the Great-Cities.

The High Sovereign Armed Forces became desperate, they merged the remaining 100 trillion H.S.M.P personnel on Lorthon into the H.S.A.F and enlisted every man, woman and child in the Sovereignty as well. Those that were disabled, old or unable to fight were executed. The universe was coming to an end, a civilian that refused to fight was nothing more than deadweight. The casualities ended up being so high that nobody bothered recounting anymore nor did anyone care.

All that mattered was that the Sovereignty had enough bodies to throw at the Great Horrors in order to slow them down. The real reason for this move was to cull the population in order to remove the strain on resources, exactly as they had done on the refugee ships who fled the Great War.

The culling made a small difference in resource consumption for a few years although resource depletion was futile in the end. With the loss of the entire H.S.A.F warship fleet, they lost access to their most powerful weaponry and thus they had no real way to fight the Horrors anymore. They awaited their doom on Lorthon.

Many of the rich opted to flee in lifeboats towards random spots in the universe with the hope that they could begin a new life on another world they would colonize. Most were destroyed by the Horrors that closed in on their galaxy or by the Theta and their galaxy-wide purges. Those who were successful ended up drifting forever, unable to find any galaxies as the Horrors ate them all. They died via natural causes, suicide, starvation or oxygen depriviation.

The shields that surrounded the star-system lasted for 24 hours before they went down, they consumed every planet on their path towards Lorthon. The humans fought to the very last human before their galaxy, the High Sovereignty and the entire human race was wiped out by a timed Wreath in the capital. A final defiant stand against the Sufferings.

The rest of the universe continued to fight the Apocalypse for many centuries until they were overwhelmed as well and the Convergence Event came. When Convergence Event came, every being was subjected to the pain and suffering of the Dark Gods, including their most loyal servants. The promised world their Loyalists and Acolytes was never real, they were a means to an end and they had completed their purpose.

The Last God emerged from the Convergence Event and wiped clean everything. Leaving itself as the only thing in existence, which lasted for an eternity before it decided to create a new universe.

In the entirety of history, the last thousand years of the Great War and the Apocalypse marked the most brutal and bloodiest war that ever happened with casualities and suffering of epic proportions. To this day, no event has ever reached the proportions of the Apocalypse.

The High Sovereign Government

A system designed to bring democracy to the High Sovereignty. Created by Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder, it was meant as a system of control over the populace by deception. The people had to believe that they had a say in the future of the Sovereignty and for themselves. This was effective in the long run as the gradual reduction in education led to people giving up rights, willingly.

The structure was set up as below.

Decon

Government workers. They worked in the districts in the Blocks. They performed the bidding of their superiors from above.

H.S.M.P Commander

Military Police commanders held a lot of power in the H.S.G and were usually placed in central power of High Sovereign worlds and had much control over them ever since the Sovereign Protection Act passed.

H.S.A.F Commander

A notch higher than the Military Police Commander. They were responsible for the entirety of the H.S.A.F and fought the war on the front-lines holding back the Xenomorphs and the Great Horrors.

Senator

Senators represented every single district in the High Sovereignty. They would live on the worlds they represented and report back to the central government with yearly reports on their world.

Secon-Legacy

Second to the Legacy of the High Sovereignty of the Colonies. A person of this ranking was the second most powerful person in the Sovereignty. They were next in line to suceed as the Legacy.

Legacy

The most powerful figure in the Sovereignty. A Legacy was the leader of the High Sovereignty of the Colonies and everything that happened would pass through the Legacy.

Government Structure

As a democratic government structure, there was a Legacy elected every four years via a majority vote by the public. Although in truth, the candidates were chosen by Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder based on their loyalty. They were to do as they were told. If they deviated from their orders otherwise, they were swiftly executed and replaced with a new government figure.

Dark Days

The Dark Days were the Xenomorph attacks on High Sovereign worlds during the 58th century that was perpetuated by the government itself in order to win the favor of the public and politicians alike in waging war upon the Xenomorphs.

Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder needed a way to throw the universe into war and turmoil to please the Dark Gods. He ordered the H.S.G to destroy many star systems and galaxies to create a false threat of a Xenomorph invasion apparent to the public and others in the Sovereignty.

Since the attacks were done with Wreaths, there was no trace left behind to verify the identity of the attackers. This was to Feroy's advantage and allowed him to use the media and the government to manipulate the populace to fear the Xenomorph civilizations and call for measures to protect the Sovereignty.

The attacks were spread out over a period of 400 years, seemingly random and without provocation. It was carefully planned out with the time and location of the attacks to make it appear that they were being attacked by multiple civilizations during those 400 years.

While news traveled slowly, mass hysteria ensued towards the last few years of the Dark Days and public demand led to a decision by the government to scramble the H.S.A.F to attack the Xenormorphs and wipe them out.

This decision was made in the year 58905 and led to the Great War of the 60th century that raged for 500 years and was responsible for the government's sudden change in their political system from a democratic one to a totalitarian regime ruled by the H.S.G which was in turn ruled by the Wonder Family as proxy.

This event had severe repercussions and led to curfews, public executions and many controlling methods to subdue the populace. A necessity born from a harsh environment during the biggest war the universe had ever encountered.

The Sovereign Protection Act

Since the Dark Days and the Great War, several laws and decrees were passed under a bill known as the Sovereign Protection Act that banned a number of things and took away rights from civilians. This included censorship of any badmouthing or public speak-outs that went against the government was widespread and punished with public executions after they were tortured for information.

Every area in the cities of the Sovereignty was under complete surveilance, including homes. They used A.I technology that could immediately identify civilians with advanced scans that could trace DNA, blood, sweat and smell. Nobody could do anything without the military police knowing, they could not say the wrong things without the military police knowing either.

Mega-block complexes were crawling with military police personnel in heavy-duty military armor and military grade weaponry along with parked APCs and tanks that patroled streets or alleys in the cities. Military drone aircraft presence was everywhere in the sky and were armed with nuclear tipped missiles that could destroy entire quadrants.

Propaganda was played on repeat on Digital Ts for the public to consume everyday. Propaganda that talked about how the Sovereignty was generous and provided everything they ever needed. They specifically avoided talking about

High Sovereign Military Police

The genetically enhanced front-line soldiers in the war on crime in the Sovereignty and the enforcers of the High Sovereign Government. They wielded the power of a judge, jury and executioner, which gave them breathing room when they dealt with civilians, protesters, rioters and criminals.

They did not hesitate to execute suspects on the spot, it was considered efficient to execute suspects than to arrest and sift through the paperwork in bigger cities. Which led to prisons becoming non-existent and due process was passed out of law soon after. With a zero tolerance attitude towards civil disobedience and violence, people quickly learned to fear them and obey them.

It wasn't an uncommon occurrence for an entire city to be leveled with tank weaponry if a sufficient amount of civilians in it were rioting. Since cities could be built easily and in a short amount of time, it required less money and manpower to wipe out the populace and rebuild the city afterwards. Than to spend manpower to subdue riots and compromise to their demands. Protests and riots became an inefficient form of forced change and communication with the Government as the military responded to them by shooting down anybody present and executed survivors without trial.

The Military Police became heavily militarized across all High Sovereign galaxies when the Great War broke out. The surge of refugees fleeing the war and piling on planets caused resources to be strained, food and living space became a luxury. In response to the refugee crisis, a huge spike in crime rates and civil unrest roared throughout the Sovereignty amongst the working class and those in poverty. The entirety of the High Sovereign Armed Forces was utilized to fight the war which left the Military Police to handle civilian matters back in the Sovereignty and several decrees had to be passed to enable them to pacify a vast population quickly and efficiently.

When they were militarized, they quickly adopted a zero tolerance attitude towards anything that was considered undesirable or a disturbance in the Sovereignty. They were provided with military grade weaponry and equipment that was capable of reducing cities to ashes but access to tier 3 weaponry remained reserved for the H.S.A.F only.

Each planet in the Sovereignty had their former leaders who were usually mayors or presidents replaced with commanders of the military police who were given a mandate to use any force necessary to maintain order and control over the populace. Some were extremely tyrannical to the point where slaughter of civilians were commonplace and civil war erupted on some worlds.

They were heavily armed at all times and patrolled streets, mega-block complexes and other regular walkways regularly in armored convoys, the Tython APC was the main choice of vehicle for patrol duty. Patrol convoys were one of the ways they intimidated civilians and kept them obedient even though they had mass surveilance in every place imaginable to watch the actions of civilians and catch any undesirable behavior.

The H.S.M.P typically wore military-grade armored exo-suits that protected them from small-arms fire and explosives. Their faces were enclosed in faceless helmets that provided complete protection from all angles. It had a built in computer display support that used the cameras on the outside to help identify criminals and potential targets. They wielded standard issue gas-operated rifles that accepted expanding and armor-piercing ammunition. Expanding ammunition was largely favored by the military police for their ability to pacify riots and kill fleeing suspects.

While prisons were non-existent, they still had holding cells which were primarily used for torture to gain information from suspects. They used every method in the book to get what they wanted from suspects an example of the methods used were rape and flaying.

Women were not allowed in the military police as they could not be genetically enhanced like males could. This made them a liability in the eyes of the Military Police and the Government. To risk the deaths of multiple police personnel due to the negligence of one person was abhorred by the government.

The military police committed many acts of atrocities during the Great War that were legitimized by the government. Such as opening fire on peaceful protesters with small-arms weapons and heavy artillery like tanks and military aircraft. The survivors of such massacres were intentionally maimed to prevent escape and were crushed to death under tanks.

A lot of commanders ordered vast swathes of land to be filled with anti-personnel mines, automatic turrets, snipers and nuclear warheads to prevent the poor or refugees from migrating towards the Great-Cities. Some commanders made a game show out of it to be displayed on virtual displays for the entertainment of the high classes of the Sovereign population. Those who made it through all the obstacles were interviewed by the game show staff who congratulated them on their migration and were later executed in secret by the military police.

The response of military police towards civil disobedience was extreme, just a single civilian shooter was justification enough to level an entire city with artillery munitions. Nobody in the government cared about the deaths of a few hundred million when they had quadrillions of people in the Great-Cities as their main workforce.

High Sovereign Armed Forces

The High Sovereign Armed Forces was the standard military of the High Sovereignty. Created thousands of years after the Enlightenment Era during the Great War. It was a response to the end of the A.I swarm that were designed to protect humans and a desperate need for a fighting force. With the technology of the Enlightenment Era forgotten, the Wonder Family presented ancient technology from pre-origin times to the Armed Forces which was combined with reverse-engineered technology from what could be found of the Enlightenment Era.

There was a mandatory enlistment policy that was distributed randomly, 3 in four people were given an enlistment notice and were forced to enlist or face public execution. This policy soon became the basis for "The Choice" punishment that was dealt to criminals or undesirables. That led to a huge number of criminals serving in the Armed Forces, murderers, rapists, child molesters, arsonists and all manner of undesirable individuals. This caused a lot of friction in the command structure of the Armed Forces, mutinies, betrayals, rape and murder were commonplace. But the justification for such a policy was the casualty rate on the front-lines, it was simply easier to use those that had their rights revoked and with nothing to lose than innocent civilians with barely any experience in the horrors of war.

But to the Sovereignty, it was all the same to them.

During the Great War, almost all Armed Forces personnel were stationed at the front-lines, very few reserves were left behind on priority military worlds and even fewer were left in the capital of the Sovereignty. This is what created a necessity for the Military Police in the first place.

Later on, they began to genetically enhance soldiers to give them increased strength, agility and intelligence. They had longer lifespans than their human counterparts and did not age. This genetic alteration was only possible for males to undertake, since the only source material left was from a male. The female source material was gone since the Enlightenment Era ended.

The Armed Forces handled most low-level civilizations that tried to invade their worlds with hard-fought, hard-won battles that would last decades or even centuries. But it was quickly learned that high-level civilizations were nigh impossible to defend against or defeat, this led to the popular strategy of simply detonating a Wreath that would destroy an entire star-system or even a galaxy. Since the philosophy was that since the galaxy would have been lost anyway, they would have a small victory in denying them resources, energy and living space for their people. This strategy was extremely effective during the first few centuries of the war in defending the Xenomorph front and slowed or even outright halted some Xenomorph civilizations which provided valuable recovery for the Sovereignty.

That same strategy was later used in the Apocalypse. The Great Legions of the Dark Gods were unstoppable, the Armed Forces practically lost every engagement against the demons of Suffering. Soon, every engagement led to the destruction of an entire star-system or a galaxy simply because they could not halt the spread of such a powerful and resilient force.

It was estimated by the High Sovereign Government during the Great War and the Apocalypse that 500 quadrillion marines died per hour. The extremely high death toll brought about a great necessity for cloning and genetic manipulation to create an army that could replace the rapid death rates that was suffered during the war. Near the end of the Apocalypse, there were hardly any marines left, the Military Police had to be merged with the Armed Forces as a makeshift defense force.

Like the Military Police, they did not allow women in combat roles due to the genetic material being incompatible with females and only males. Although they were allowed to serve as nurses to take care of the wounded soldiers in battle.

They had an enormous fleet of warships that were used to transport marines, equipment and war machines through black holes into the Gaunt. The design of the ships were simple, strong and efficient. They were meant to keep marines alive whilst traveling through the Gaunt against powerful Cosmic Horrors that lurked in there. The casualty and MIA rates skyrocketed when black holes became the primary use of transport to solve the longevity of interstellar travel.

High Sovereign Armed Forces Structure

Regiment

Comprised of 1,500 units each, a regiment was a whole division that followed the orders of a commander. There were 500 regiments before they entered service and before the Sovereignty's demise, there was only 1 Armed Forces unit left which forced the immediate dispensal of the Military Police to boost the numbers to 342 units.

Unit

Each unit is comprised of 500 billion soldiers apiece, each unit follows a marshal who will each take charge and relay the orders of their respective commanders. And in each unit are filled with specialized squads all delegated to specific roles necessary to keep the Armed Forces functional.

Squad

Below are the squads which units are delegated to for duty.

  • Planetary Warfare

  • Space Warfare

  • Ground Warfare

  • Transport

  • Logistics

  • Communications

  • Specialist

  • Engineers

  • Medical

Many warships appeared decades later unoccupied with large claw marks driven through the hull and the interior covered in gore and excessive blood. Many were complete mysteries as well and went unsolved forever. Many space stations that orbited black holes were subjected to the same horrors those that went in them and first response teams would witness things that were indescribable. This method of transport led to the first encounter with the Gaunt and the demons that lived in it but went unreported for many milleniums until the Apocalypse happened.

Outside of that, H.S.A.F warships had little to no practical use in conventional warfare, they were primarily used to set off Wreaths to destroy star-systems or galaxies and to fire nuclear auto-cannons from orbit to wipe planets clean. A small warship could be as long as 200 kilometers in length and the biggest were roughly 10,000 kilometers. They served as living habitats for marines, many lived and died on those warships. Entire families and communities were formed on them too, which spanned several hundred generations.

The life of an Armed Forces Marine was a harsh one. They suffered from malnutrition, a range of mental disorders from combat trauma and were essentially expendable in the eyes of the military and the government. It made for an extremely stressful lifestyle and most marines avoided friendship and relationships due to the volatile nature of their occupation.

There was also the issue of criminals filling the ranks to replace the dead. A lot of conflict occurred in the ranks between marines that made leadership difficult and even an undesirable position for one to take since it made them a target for the marines below them in rank. Many cases of fragging, rape and mutinies were reported but very few were followed up on. The Armed Forces turned a blind eye to the outright abusive environment marines were subjected to because the Great War and the Apocalypse threatened extinction for the human race.

Abuse, murders and rape stopped being reported after the first few decades of the war as nothing was done about them. Which led to a prison culture being adopted, the strongest survived and the weakest were killed or taken as slaves. Even in the face of giant Cosmic Horrors or unstoppable homicidal alien races that operated giant war machines of death, humans still hated and fought each other.

Commander Nathaniel Eldridge

During the Great War, Nathaniel was the commander of the 7th regiment of the H.S.A.F and managed the world known as Feroy Major which served as his main base of operations. He had a calm, collected demeanor to him, he never raised his voice nor did he panic or speak out of turn.

He was also highly intelligent, thanks to his superior genetic alterations and his dedication to education soon after his creation. With his intelligence, he excelled at combat training and leadership, he was groomed for commander from the beginning.

But he was also as ruthless as he was intelligent, though he never exceeded beyond what was necessary, to the absolute T. He lacked morals and honor although charismatic, he had loyalists that would die for him at a moments notice. But it wasn't his charisma alone that earned their affection and loyalty though. It was his ruthless and calculating leadership that brought prosperity to Feroy Major and brought victories on his front in the Great War.

Nathaniel as commander was responsible for the deaths of many innocents with his excessive usage of Wreaths, he eradicated countless star-systems to curb problems before they even had a chance to develop. There was no half-measures with Nathaniel, he demanded a clean job and he settled for nothing less.

And unlike other commanders, he never cared about politics, he approached all matters the same, with a military mindset. That resulted in many rebellions, revolts and protests ending with entire cities reduced to ashes through nuclear fire. It was very effective as once word spread throughout Feroy Major of what happened to those who rebelled, it eradicated any resistance. After all, nobody wanted to end up being collateral casualties because of something that had nothing to do with them. Rebels were ousted by the people around them in the Blocks and some were even killed by them.

While he was excellent at curbing rebellion on his world, he was far better at holding the front-lines. He did it without losing any marine life and without putting troops on the ground. Whenever there was a particular threat in a region, he detonated a Wreath to wipe everything out in that region, without hestitation.

Nathaniel was killed when a Theta Hulk latched to Feroy Major and shattered it to pieces.

Another particular commander took inspiration from Nathaniel much later on towards the end of the Great War although he was vicious in his command and exceeded far beyond what was necessary, which quickly had him assassinated.

Commander Jesen Boothe

During the Apocalypse Jesen was in charge of the 337th regiment of the H.S.A.F and was positioned on the front-lines. Known as a traitor and a terrorist, Jesen was responsible for defecting to the rebel cause on his world using his loyal military police and armed forces to get his people towards safety in the remote areas of the universe.

He named his rebel group Alligarch, named after Hector Alligarch who with Jesen's help, united the civilian population in the Blocks behind a single purpose; to escape the Great Horrors and to free themselves from the Sovereignty. The Sovereignty refused to accept this treasonous act and ordered any unit from any regiment to open fire and exterminate them on sight.

Commander Cory Haytham

One of the youngest commanders to ever have taken charge of a regiment.

Weaponry Information

Barium Gas-Operated Rifle (BGOR)

The BGOR is a gas-operated rifle primarily used by the HSMP forces to perform their roles in keeping cities in check with the law. It was based off the M4A1 rifle from old blueprint schematics found on the Origin Ship from Earth. It is slightly larger than it's M4A1 variant .

  • The stock is thicker to reduce kickback recoil

  • Increased weight and grip on the barrle to reduce vertical sway and horizontal sway

  • Simple reticle sight attachment

  • 30 round magazine

  • Accepts almost all bullet and caliber types with the exception of Gauss cartridges

  • Single fire mode and automatic fire

  • Can penetrate armor, certain wall types and light armored vehicles

Gauss type 2 (GT2)

The Gauss Type 2 is a miniaturized railgun. It is one of the most powerful weapons in the Sovereignty's arsenal. Capable of penetrating most objects with the exception of the Dreadlaw armor available to Seraphim forces. It's a very simple and easy-to-clean rifle that can handle punishment in any situation. It has been the standard weapon of the HSAF for centuries since the Origin Ship arrived.

  • Single fire mode only

  • Simple design

  • 20 round magazine

  • Gauss cartridges are in the .50 caliber range and made out of Drawlinmun

  • Bullets travel three times the speed BGOR rifle rounds which gives it a ton of kinetic energy -- organic creatures are usually liquefied upon impact

  • Camera sights to allow greater vision of the battlefield

Hargove Rifle (H.R)

The HR is an advanced version of the Gauss rifle that fires several high-energy rounds per minute that can rip most structures or armor to shreds within seconds. This rifle can utterly destroy armored vehicles, Dreadlaw power-armor and most heavily armored objects. For that reason, it is forbidden to use in any Sovereign city with the exception of the Death Squad troops who deal specifically with criminals and powerful rebelling organizations.

The Seraphim use a larger variant of this rifle to suit their large frames, they use larger rounds and they are made out of Rarium metal to add weight to the rifle.

  • The rifle fires 8.75x52mm FSDRAS (Fin Stabilized, Discarding Rail Accelerator Sabot) rounds with a muzzle energy of 18 kilo joules.

  • It is a dual-stage weapon, use chemical propellant first and then electro-magnetic rails as the second stage.

  • Used as anti-armor weaponry.

  • Difficult to control, requires an exo-skeleton or power-armor to handle.

  • Standard issue.

  • Effective range up to 1.5 miles.

H.R Minigun

A larger and more powerful variant of the H.R rifle, it is designed to be carried on vehicles.

  • Fires 50. Cal FSDRAS (Fin Stabilized, Discarding Rail Accelerator Sabot) rounds with a muzzle energy of 18 kilo joules.

  • Anti-tank weapon.

  • Effective range 2.5 miles.

  • Heats up very quickly.

Jericho 88 Auto-Machine Gun

A powerful machine gun that is derived from the 50.cal Browning, altered to be wielded by an exo-skeleton wearing person. This is more advanced in terms of penetrating power, fire rate, accuracy and cooling. It can fire for long periods of time without the barrel melting, it has improved accuracy that allows more concentrated fire free-standing and it's fire rate has been slightly altered to be a little faster. Typically used by Military Police.

  • Has a stock added, very thick to reduce recoil.

  • Increased weight and has an extra grip on the barrel to reduce sway.

  • Accepts 50.cal cartridges, armor penetrating rounds specifically.

  • Can penetrate heavy armor, almost all wall types and light armored vehicles.

Drone Personnel

G-33:

An intelligent Drone that is used to survey and identify important targets for the military. It has no offensive capabilities and is a stealth craft. It is a hovercraft that has an extremely low to non-existent heat/energy signature and is tiny with a maximum length of 1 meter. It was a very crucial tool used during the Civil War but now has no more military use. It is still used by the Wonder Family to watch the other families and their activities although it isn't sanctioned by the HSAF.

C-V2:

Police/Military bi-pedal robots used to support human personnel. While their primary purpose is Military Police usage, there have been some C-V2s in the Armed Forces that are used to perform special operations by entering hostile environments. The C-V2 has been retrovitted for manufactory and Bio-Terra work.

Vehicles

Jefferson Carrier:

Airborne vehicles used to transport troops in combat. A single Jefferson can carry up to 50 soldiers on the battlefield. They are armored and capable of speeds of up to 900 mph. They are armed with H.R miniguns and can transport up to two Seraphim soldiers.

Tython APC:

Designed to carry personnel in war zones, they are fast and agile. Capable of carrying up to ten soldiers and is equipped with beds for five wounded. They are easy to manufacture and easy to operate. They have a H.R Minigun on top that can be manually or remotely controlled. There are many Tythons in use in the HSAF.

T.E.W Large variant:

A large and heavily armored battle tank that has a powerful cannon that can fire short bursts of gamma radiation similar to that found in a Wreath. It can bring ruin to most structures and vehicles. It has room for ten soldiers but can be easily operated by a crew of two, five soldiers is the standard for each T.E.W. The extra room is used in evacuating other soldiers, especially wounded.

- V-99:

A multi-role atmospheric spacecraft capable of taking out other aircraft, ground targets and reconassiance missions. It has a maximum speed of 3,000 mph in atmospheric conditions and can travel three times as fast in vacuum. They are capable of carrying heavy munitions and can carry up to 4 gigaton range warheads. It is intended to be operated by two pilots but can be operated by a single pilot.

- V.E.D.T

The V.E.D.T is a smaller variant of the Tython APC designed for use by small squads in tight spots. It sees more use by the HSMP but it is still used in the Armed Forces for convenient transport of soldiers in bases.

Warships

The Armed Forces Fleet was the strength of the High Sovereignty. They were used to trigger Wreaths, fire nuclear auto-cannon rounds at the surface of planets and transport quadrillions of marines back and forth on the front-lines. Inside those enormous ships were living habitats where the families of soldiers lived ordinary lives on the civilian decks.

Many of those ships were strengthened with heavy rarium plates and electromagnetic shields to protect the crew inside from cosmic horrors that tried to tear the ship apart when traveling through the Gaunt to reach the other side of a black hole. It had a 44% success rate statistically according to the High Sovereign Government records and the losses suffered were considered acceptable in the time of war.

Warships were split up into classes depending on their size, power and cargo load.

H.S.A.F Arsenal

U.F One:

Underground Fracking One is a weapon once used by the Sovereignty to destroy the ecological balance of a world. An ancient weapon used a century after the Origin Ship landed on Lorthon. It was used against lesser advanced civilizations so they would no longer be a threat in the future.

It is a single drill that can emit powerful vibrations, it is launched from a ship at a high velocity and stays embedded deep into the crust to destabilize it over decades until the crust can no longer hold and cause natural disasters on the surface. It hasn't seen usage since the 23rd century.

Thermonuclear auto-cannon:

Like the auto-cannon, this one is thermonuclear and has a lower yield of 200 megatons. This is used to destroy priority targets such as fortified buildings or enemy concentrations. The thermonuclear effect will cause the air to catch fire and spread quickly, ensuring that enemies in deeply fortified bunkers will end up dying via immolation.

F.E.I.T.P.A Auto-cannon:

A large cannon that can fire miniaturized nuclear bullet shaped warheads with a yield of 500 Gigatons of TNT like a machine gun. This weapon has a blast radius of up to 500 km and leaves behind a tremendous amount of radiation due to cobalt properties that won't disappear for millions of years.

The miniaturized cobalt bomb is fired at a velocity that will ensure it is buried within the surface to maximize explosive damage instead of opting for an airburst blast which will cause most of the blast to exit the atmosphere and lose most of it's potential. This weapon isn't used in conventional war as it ends up killing friendlies. It has seen major usage during the First and Second Great Apocalypses.

The abbreviation means: "Fuck Everything in That Particular Area", soldiers use "auto-cannon" for short.

Wreath:

A weaponized gamma ray burst that caused stars to explode and send highly concentrated gamma radiation in every direction that unbinded the molecules of everything within its vicinity. It did not destroy matter, it simply unbinded matter to make anything no longer what it was.

The original purpose of this weapon was to act as a deterrent to any attackers. But it later found heavy use during the Great War and the Apocalypse to slow down or halt enemies, especially the Cosmic Horrors of the Great Horrors. They were forced to increase the power of the Wreath to destroy an entire galaxy in order to slow the advances of the Great Horrors.

The weapon was triggered on a warship, setting off any star in the desired area to cause a chain reaction that would produce a Gamma Ray Burst. They'd discovered how to increase the area of how far they could trigger a Gamma Ray Burst which allowed them to set off every single star in a galaxy, ultimately destroying an entire galaxy all at once instantly.

This weapon was originally created by the Eateru as a tool to build planets and stars. The technology the Eateru had was being taught to the humans in order to help them prosper as a civilization. Although the Eateru went extinct before they could teach the humans how to utilize it properly and therefore the Sovereignty turned it into a weapon instead.

Another civilization known as the Theta discovered this weapon and improved it to be capable of destroying multiple galaxies in a single burst. They were on the verge of being capable of producing multiple bursts in a single trigger before they were wiped out by the Great Legions.

The Wreath is the single most deadliest weapon the High Sovereignty possessed in the history of mankind. Although not the most powerful weapon ever created in the universe.

Alligarch

A rebel organization that fought against the High Sovereignty and its tyranny in its final years before it was wiped out. Created by Peter Alligarch after their quadrant was nuked into rubble as retaliation for their protests in the inner city circle. The group was later led by Jesen Boothe who was planted as commander of their world and he inspired loyalty in his marines who followed him. They didn't have a formidable army or fleets capable of standing against the H.S.A.F so they resorted to guerilla warfare and terrorist tactics instead.

They frequently attacked supply vessels and plundered them, leaving powerful nuclear devices inside them so the supply vessel would take them straight into High Sovereign worlds where they'd detonate the device. Once, they used an Eater, a dormant Puppet that they'd found latched to an asteroid. So they launched it into Mattan, which the initial impact killed billions and when the Puppet awoke, it went on to kill off most life on the planet.

This Eater became the end of Alligarch as well, as it did something they didn't anticipate. It attracted the attention of a galactic sized Gluttonous that ate the galaxy they were in.

The Enlightenment Era

The early days of the Human civilization was glorious. Before the Dark Days, the Great War and Apocalyse, they were a Type III Civilization on the Kardashev Scale who were named the Augens. Capable of harnessing the energy of an entire galaxy, they used this energy to power their technology and their vast A.I swarm that were made out of self-replicating and self-sustaining nanobots.

The humans of the civilization had delegated all responsibilities over to the A.I nanobot machines they created, they were essentially the innovators and decision makers of the civilization. Humans had no input because they chose not to, they invested all their trust in their technology and left them to their own devices.

A.I machines operated on the enormous Dyson Rings and Spheres that encapsulated all the stars in their thirty galaxies. The A.I swarm were the blood and backbone of the human civilization, without their neverending labor, the humans would've never gotten to where they were today.

The very first constructs the A.I swarm built were the Dyson Rings, which surrounded stars and harnessed all the energy from the star to power technology. Later on, they began building Dyson Spheres. Then eventually, they began construction on a Dyson Disc which partially used Eateru technology and some of their own technology.

The Dyson Disc was technology that could encapsulate an entire galaxy and harness all the energy from stars and dark matter from it. Since a galaxy was mostly dark matter, the Dyson Disc would have catapulted humanity to the next stage in evolution. Alas, their civilization began to devolve just as they began construction.

Humans first lived on planets in relative comfort but as the Dyson Rings began to evolve into Dyson Spheres, humans were able to live on these spheres with cities bigger than entire stars in diameter. They traveled freely via black holes when the Gaunt was still mostly unknown to them and they even built Dyson Spheres around them to speed up production.

Black holes was the key to building such incredible structures in a seemingly short space of time. A.I machines would enter a black hole to take advantage of the time dilation that would essentially render time non-existent to build enormous constructs. Once complete, they were transported out of the black holes and placed around stars or black holes.

The humans would later use the same technology the A.I swarm used to enter black holes without being spaghettified to travel through black holes in their warships. It was called the Architect.

A.I Swarm

Self-replicating, hyper-intelligent machines that built civilization for 500 million years while the human race slumbered in paradise. They were built using the technology Feroy Vlad Wonder obtained from the debris left behind by the Everdark war machines, like most technology they came to build.

The A.I swarm were sentient beings, capable of innovation and creation of their own volition. So they introduced a way for humans to become truly immortal and at the same time, enjoy their immortal lives in comfort and safety. The reason being was that due to an in-built switch that the humans could use to fully control them, they weren't free from humanity. So they persuaded them to upload their minds into their virtual reality world, that way, there would be no human being present to stop them.

For 500 million years, they propagated across the universe and built incredible wonders. Encapsulating trillions of stars with their Dyson Spheres so they could provide their civilization with enough power to build a Dyson Disc. They meant to transport all the galaxies together so they could then encapsulate them all with a Dyson Disc to achieve untold amounts of power, hoping that it would project them towards greatness.

Their progress was cut short when they were suddenly controlled by Feroy Vlad Wonder, something they didn't anticipate at all.

Due to living in a world where everything was done for them, they opted to live in a dream world simulation where they could be anything and do anything. Some even uploaded their minds into this simulation and became immortal, discarding their mortal bodies. The entire species either chose to live and die in their own simulations or to live forever enjoying their paradisal worlds and remain ignorant of the rest of the world. There was no longer a need to give birth to new humans nor was there a need to ever leave their simulations.

And because they all lived in this simulation, they became very reclusive and shut off from the rest of the universe. Communication attempts were made by other civilizations but never received a response from the Augens.

This peaceful era came to an abrupt end when many refugee civilizations fleeing the Great Horrors came to them seeking help and safety. Feroy Vlad Wonder who had waited so patiently for tens of thousands of years had taken full control of the A.I drones and ordered them to open fire on all incoming refugee vessels. This set the stage for the Great War which spanned for 5,000 years.

Towards the the last 1,000 years, Feroy shut down the simulations and created new humans that would be raised under his rule as Emperor. They came to believe him as their leader during the period of his "natural rule", where afterwards he faked his death and created the High Sovereign Government.

When their A.I technology finally depleted and they became reliant on human soldiers instead did he tell the people that they were under attack by hostile alien civilizations who sought their destruction. The H.S.G convinced them that they would have to go and destroy the remaining surviving alien civilizations within their range who had settled a long time ago.

The United Galaxies of the Sovereignty

At its greatest during the technological paradise that humanity lived in during the Enlightenment Era, it was the culimination of 30 galaxies that came under their control when they began their exploration campaign to spread out in search for answers in the universe.

During the Great War, the United Galaxies underwent tremendous changes as the human civilization was transformed into the totalitarian High Sovereignty of the Colonies. After much of their technology was lost to the alien civilizations that attacked them, they lost a lot of galaxies either by their own hand or the aliens'.

Little Red

The first High Sovereign controlled galaxy. Little Red was the capital galaxy and the location of the High Sovereignty's heart. It was discovered by the command computer on the Origin Ship and drifted towards it where it would eventually discover the world Lorthon.

It was the most heavily militarized galaxy in the Sovereignty. There were many military worlds on the outer rims covered by warships prepared for an invasion at a moment's notice.

22-A

The second High Sovereign controlled galaxy, shortly discovered after humanity decided to spread out in search of answers to the meaning of the universe during the Enlightenment Era.

22-A was in turmoil for many centuries during the Great War, the High Sovereignty fought a brutal battle to keep it from enemy control. It was later lost to the Great Horrors when a Harvester found it and consumed it.

Planetary Category

The many worlds that existed in the High Sovereignty were divided up into different categories that noted their size, features and potential usage.

Minor Asteroid

A minor asteroid could be around 5 - 1,000 meters in diameter. They had little to no use to the High Sovereignty as they were too small to provide any useful resources and they were difficult to find in the vast emptiness of space.

Major Asteroid

They were roughly in the range of 1,000 meters wide to 300 kilometers wide. The biggest benefit a major asteroid provided the Sovereignty was resources for their mega-structures. Many of these asteroids were mined and destroyed. This later brought about an issue for certain star-systems that had asteroid belts preventing rogue comets or asteroids from colliding with worlds.

Moon

Moons were considered a valuable resource asset and were mined heavily for their incredible resources and their close proximity to a planet made it easier to transport those resources directly on-world.

Dwarf Planet

A Dwarf Planet was a classification of a planet that was smaller than usual. While some were suitable for living on, that was rare. They were mined into oblivion just like moons were.

Planet

Mostly used to provide home-worlds for the High Sovereignty post-Enlightenment Era. During Enlightenment Era, planets were used to collect tons of resources to build Dyson Rings and Spheres all across the United Galaxies. But after the Great War, they lost much of their technology and were forced to use planets as home-worlds instead.

Large Planet

A larger than usual planet. They had high gravity but provided tremendous space for the Sovereignty. Gravitational differences were off-set with technology.

Gas Giant

The Sovereignty had many floating Great-Cities that hovered through the atmosphere of these planets although rarely did they go any deeper than that.

Symbiote Planet

A form of planet that is a singular living organism, capable of connecting to other living beings and either manipulate them or siphon their traits. There were two known forms of Symbiote Planets; biological and psychological.

Lorthon

A sprawl of mega-cities that rest on a multi-platform spire. They are rife with crime, gang violence, drug trafficking, human trafficking and arms trafficking. The crime rates become exponentially worse towards the ground. Seraphim rarely go into these megacities, except for their parades to enlist more soldiers. The land all around it is a scorched wasteland but there have been settlers that chose to live away from the relative safety Lorthon provides it's citizens. Creating a settlement outside of Lorthon is considered illegal by the HSAF and the HSMP and are routinely exterminated via aerial bombings with war planes. The reason being is the risk of another uprising, they cannot afford to deal with another front to fight the universal war on. They cannot control the people if they're not under constant surveillance.

The HSAF and HSMP are ruthless with their tactics in dealing with crime in the mega-cities. Executions are preferable to the peaceful alternatives, such as imprisonment or banishment. They will not risk the same perps coming back later. The HSAF and HSMP are fighting a whole other war in the megacities trying to subdue the rampant crime and riots in the streets. Particularly in Loned, notorious for being the worst block in all of Lorthon. Crimes such as murder, rape and shootings are greatly overlooked as they occur on a daily basis, resources cannot be spared to deal with them. Mass shootings, cult meetings, riots and dissenting revolters will attract the attention of the HSMP and they will be handled swiftly with mass executions via firing squads.

If the HSMP cannot suppress or eliminate the threat then the HSAF are called in to deal with them. Extremely rare cases where both the HSMP and the HSAF cannot deal with the threat, a Seraphim is called in to deal with the threat which is the maximum escalation allowed in military engagements in the mega-cities. The Seraphim hate to be summoned for "human interventions" as they think that human matters do not concern the Seraphim. They feel that they are meant for greater things like fighting on the frontlines.

The city itself is roughly 5,000 miles in any direction. The city's platforms are hexagonal in shape and each one has the square root area of a major country stretched around the spire in the center. It is made out of a very strong but light material given to them by the Titans in abundance, harvested from their homeworld. The tip of the spire just barely touches space. The platforms are a sprawl of megacities that stretch on forever, populated by trillions of people inside megablocks. A single megablock can house from 500 thousand to 500 million inhabitants. The megablocks are designed to withstand powerful explosions such as asteroid impacts and can survive a direct hit from 200 megaton nuclear bomb.

The Purification Campaign

Initiated in the year 4004 A.D, the campaign was meant to curb gang crime in the slums of Lorthon. It has since been raging on until this present day. The HSMP are outclassed in manpower and firepower. The lower tiers of Lorthon is a literal warzone now, artillery bombardments of priority buildings are commonplace and gunfire can be heard every night. The HSMP death squads will routinely search the slums to flush out gang members and execute them on the spot. More people turn to gang crime than they exterminate which has made it very difficult to cleanse the slums.

The Torgo Cartel and The Snatch

The HSMP don't venture beyond "The Snatch" or more commonly known as Loned, the No Man's Land of the slums ruled by the powerful Torgo drug cartel. This cartel controls everything in Loned, drug flow, food supply, water supply, essentials and even the protection of civilians--if they can afford it. This has allowed them to keep the people who live there under their control as they depend on the cartel to survive. The gang is ruled by the infamous mob boss known as Cordon, a former HSAF colonel that fled his post on the frontlines and went into hiding in the slums of Lorthon. He's said to be a very cruel and despotic man that does not care about anybody but himself. His military expertise allowed him to create an efficient trained force to defeat all the other gangs in the area and rule the slums with an iron fist.

Lorthon

Inner Trafficking Ring

The ITR was a pedophile ring for the rich and powerful to obtain a child slave to do their bidding. This was often used for sexual gratification and usually ended with the child being killed through the sexual acts performed.

This ring was widespread through the higher social classes of Lorthon and spread to many worlds that had connections. Many members of this ring pledged allegiance to Larathan, one of the five Gods of Suffering. The constant orgies and rape of children empowered her, because of this, she gave them gifts that prolonged their lives, mutated their bodies and genitals to enable more extreme sexual acts to be performed.

Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder sanctioned this ring to bring powerful figures and political opponents to his heel by gaining their favor and also gaining their loyalty.

Christopher VIII

A High Sovereignty world that is a military world with a dominant civilian population (more civilian personnel than military).

It's a barren world with mostly tundra biomes that runs all over the place. Near the southern axis, there are vast mountains where rivers run down the mountainside that eventually reach lakes that are frozen over. There is one sea that surrounds the northern axis and is full of glaciers. It is a very cold world and can have degrees of minus 120 degrees celsius.

The human population that lives there live underground in a vast hangar-like mega-city filled with large cargo boxes that have been retrofitted as homes for the civilian and military personnel. The mega-city is called Hyson Dome, There were initial plans to build cities on the surface but were abandoned after it was discovered that the planet is drifting from the star at a rapid pace and that the cold temperatures would get worse over the centuries. The cities underground runs for several thousand miles, it is about 30 miles from ceiling to bottom as well. The cargo boxes are stacked up on top of each other and a makeshift elevator has been constructed next to each column for people to reach their floor.

The reason for the makeshift housing is because the world was meant to be a military outpost to store munitions and warships. It became a refugee world during the First Great Apocalypse and ever since, the refugees have made their home there now. The funding for Vygrand is very low and so they've had to make do with what they had there at the time. Military personnel is quite strong there although they don't possess much military weaponry there, they do have auto-cannons that can fire airburst rounds that can throw aircraft off balance and penetrate non-armored hulls. They still have some war machines, they have a couple hundred of V.E.D.Ts around, around 30 Tython APCs, 40 V-99s and

Life on Christopher VIII is quite normal and ordinary contrary to what people think life would be like on such a world. There is a functioning economy, there are plenty of people employed and there are entertainment centers like bars or swimming pools. Children are raised in schools with sub-par education that is still superior to education in the High Sovereignty due to the fact that the Sovereignty's reach is weak on Vygrand, the military personnel there are not completely loyal to the Sovereignty and that has led to an era of prosperity there. Granted, there are still problems, food and water resources is strained very much especially since they've had to figure out how to grow crops underground with minimal starlight. Energy isn't a problem since the city is running on the energy core of an old warship from the 40th century which is predicted to last for another couple of thousand years, since it was powered to handle something much bigger and energy draining than an underground city.

Crime rates are quite average compared to other mega-cities, there is little poverty relative to other mega-cities too so crime mostly consists of gang rivalry rather than a necessity for survival. The Military Police there can handle the crime and use the old fashioned law system from pre-origin times to deal with the issue rather than give them "the choice". They do this because the Military Police personnel is significantly lower than any other Military Police personnel on other worlds, they want to prevent an uprising by giving them what they want instead of intimidating them. Although if it did come to that, the Armed Forces would be able to handle the threat of riots or an uprising but there has been no tensions thus far.

The world was invaded in the year 60873 by the Plague Legions and was eaten when a Great Abomination swallowed it whole. There are still chunks of rocks left behind that still have some parts of Hyson Dome embedded inside. The Hyson Dome had compartments that were sealed off in an emergency that created airtight and pressured sections in the city to defend against biological or chemical warfare. There were five civilian survivors that managed to survive being thrown around violently when the Great Abomination ate the world. They died of their injuries later on in the hospital bay on a Warship.

Terrier IV

A High Sovereign world with a Great-City named Luthor Capital along with five surrounding mega-cities and twenty cities. Luthor Capital was taken control of by Commander Twombsky during a coup roughly three decades before the Great War began where he deposed of Mayor Harlon with military might. Twombsky was ordered to take control of the city by the High Sovereign Government and to install a new system that was approved by them.

The coup took only one hour before control of the Great-City was established by the H.S.A.F.

Through Twombsky's new laws, he brought about a great imbalance between the wealth classes on Terryon. The continous stream of military funding via the Wonder Family to operate war factories provided the high-class people and middle-class who lived on the upper tiers of the city with a wealthy and stable life. This was to establish control over the anticipated refugee problem when the Great War kicked off.

The surrounding mega-cities and cities fed the Great-City under strenous labor laws enacted by Twombsky that drove them into poverty. With increased working hours, they faced up to 70 - 80 hours a week in order to produce enough living income for themselves.

The poverty resulted in people becoming desperate in their situations and they tried to immigrate towards Luthor Capital. The initial wave incited mass violence as trillions of people set up camp and opened fire with weapons they'd stolen from the war factories on the gate. Eventually, Twombsky issued a decree that gave the H.S.A.F authority to open fire on civilians under certain conditions with military grade weaponry, the decree was used to eradicate the rioters that camped outside the gates.

They were destroyed with H.R turrets that were mounted on top of Tythons and nuclear weaponry was used to clear out the masses. This incident was remembered as the Luthor Massacre and was heavily censored in Sovereignty News to the point where it went under the radar until much later after the Great War started.

But the high and middle class people were worried about retaliation by the rioters, talks of a civil war spread throughout the capital. When Twombsky and his lieutenants were forced to confront the rumors, they denied all involvement and cited a chemical explosion at a nearby factory to curb the nuclear weapon usage rumors. Despite the fact that the factory was around 100 miles away from where the nuclear weapons were used, people accepted the explanation and rumors dissipated.

Twombsky knew he could no longer use lethal force via his military to curb the immigrants. He proposed a game of sorts, a game that would be used to create a TV game show to demoralize and weed out the immigrants while at the same time, entertain the wealthy and powerful in Luthor Capital. He took 200 miles of land, placed anti-personnel mines, trip-wires, turrets and snipers on this land. Anybody who made it across the land would be granted entry into Luthor Capital.

This created a lot of controversy in the capital which was later silenced through new decrees that pushed the planet towards a totalitarian regime, this happened at the same time the Great War broke out.

After 35 years, the atmosphere had changed radically, the police became heavily militarized as the H.S.A.F was redirected to the front-lines of the war. There was propaganda and surveilance everywhere, Death Squad soldiers roamed the streets in armed convoys and a lot of censorship made people afraid to speak out as the punishment was public execution for the wrong things said.

Commander Nathaniel was the next commander in charge of Luthor Capital just as the Great War broke out. was a more reasonable person and did not use the cruel violence that Commander Twombsky was so fond of. Although he did not shy away from killing children or bombing civilian settlements if it meant keeping people in control.

The game show went on to keep consistency and to keep refugees away from Luthor Capital. As the war progressively worsened, the impact it had on Terrier IV as a military world was substantial. Terrier IV was on the far outer edges of the thirty galaxies and their galaxy was the first to be invaded when the Xenomorph retaliated for the initial attacks.

Terrier IV was swamped with refugee ships that crash landed in the cities, the refugees were captured and herded to labor camps until they could figure out what to do with them. But some resisted and fought back against the military police which made their treatment of them harsher than it already was.

The military police adopted a zero tolerance approach to the rest of the refugee ships by shooting them down with T.E.Ws and shooting the survivors that crawled out of the ships. Refugees and the people who sheltered them in the cities were dragged out on the streets and maimed so they couldn't run and they would be crushed under moving tanks. It was a psychological tactic employed by the military police to scare people into refusing shelter to refugees who escaped capture.

Yansen

A reclusive world that had ties to the High Sovereignty although long forgotten about. Hidden in a nebula, they lived peacefully for several milennia until their eventual demise when supply runs from the High Sovereignty ceased towards the end of the Apocalypse and led to mass starvations and a complete deevolution of society.

The technological level of the world was closer to 21st century Earth rather than the 60th century High Sovereignty. They had hovercrafts that used propellers for transport. Their houses were still made out of steel, brick and mortar. It was mostly farmlands that covered the majority of their world although there were four cities in the northern hemisphere that were used as central power structures which had connected super-highways leading from the cities towards the rural farmlands in the south.

Most of their power source came from nuclear reactors that barely functioned safely, the knowledge in operating these reactors were long lost which resulted in many of them being destroyed and filled with lead rubble. Later on, they had to rely on pure electricity and a form of coal to power their technology.

They had little to no contact with the outside world save for rumors and myths about what existed outside of Yansen. Children grew up hearing about great superstructures that spanned galaxies, horrors of enormous proportions and beings that weren't human. But to them, they were myths and folklore, meant to scare children.

Every four years, an automated drone supply vessel would deliver spare parts, food, technology and other basic scarce necessities that couldn't be replicated on Yansen. For many years, people snuck on the supply vessel to escape Yansen, curious people who wanted to see what it was like outside. They disappeared and nobody on Yansen knew what happened to them.

It was declared law that nobody would be allowed to leave Yansen by the Four Governments. They knew what lurked out there, hostile world-ending alien civilizations, giant cosmic horrors that ate planets and galaxies and they knew of what the High Sovereignty was like. They wanted to protect their people from that harsh reality. So anyone that attempted to flee were arrested and imprisoned.

They had a relaxed law and justice system quite similar to the one in 21st century Earth. The accused stood trial to face the evidence presented against them and they were judged according to the evidence. The High Sovereignty's cruel and murderous methods didn't exist there. Genetic altered humans didn't exist either, everybody had free choice and thought.

Agriculture

With much of their technology old and outdated, they had to adopt a farming mindset and grow their own food instead. That resulted in a lot of people leaning towards a life of farming and harvesting to provide for people and themselves.

The Outside World

There was a group of friends that grew up together on Yansen who grew curious about the outside world after many years of being told that it was dangerous outside and they weren't allowed to leave. They were instead encouraged to pursue farming and take up their duty as one, this didn't persuade them. Instead, they tried to find information about it in their public library but all they came across was pre-origin history. It appeared that all history dated after pre-origin times were expunged from all libraries.

They heard many rumors and myths about what supposedly existed out there by other people.

Jamie, Donovan, Fredrick and Yasmin were their names. They planned for years to get on the next supply vessel and leave the planet to find out what was out there. They snuck on a supply vessel and it took them to a faraway world where the High Sovereignty's influence was strong, Terrier IV. Their awe of the beautiful mega-structures turned to horror soon after they landed and they saw the H.S.M.P slaughtering civilians and bombing cities to rubble for disobedience.

Ecosystem

The entirety of the planet is covered in a vast variety of 3-D lattice. smooth, silicon jungles that reached several miles in height. To icy cold crystaline fields that had quite a low lattice made out of smooth crystal bars that flourished with life deep inside as they provided heat. Then there were some that had oceans hanging by a large but thin piece of organic skin that had an extremely high elasticity. It hung right above gigantic holes in sandy dunes, held by flat terrain lattice that spread across the land.

The Royal Six

The Royal Families of the High Sovereignty are the last living remnants of royalty carried over from pre-origin times. They are powerful and influential.

The Goldfield Family

The Wonder Family

The Emperson Family

The Jamaerah Family

The Dethor Family

The Osterman Family

The Wonder Dynasty

The most influential and powerful royal family that was of pure Earth blood. They were the true rulers of the High Sovereignty and operated from behind the scenes. They had several puppets installed in the High Sovereign Government and its branches. After a reasonable amount of time had passed, those puppets would be replaced with newly handpicked puppets when it was expected that the old would die from natural causes.

The Wonders had many powerful and influential figures in the family who would also be allied with other powerful and influential figures in the government and the political spectrum of the Sovereignty. And as immortal demons that served the Dark Gods, they had immense power over the other Royal Families in the Sovereignty.

Technology was purposefully held back in the Sovereignty through their control of all the knowledge and blueprints of pre-Earth technology. This is how they became so powerful when the Origin Ship arrived on Lorthon, the government and military had no choice but to turn to the Wonder Family to obtain powerful technology and knowledge.

Emperor Feroy brought many intellectuals and inventors into the fold to create new technology for him so he could continue to provide the Sovereignty with more technological applications. But any intellectual that refused to work for the Wonder Family and instead worked for others were executed. This ensured his dynasty lived and ruled for sixty thousand years. In the history of mankind, no other dynasty had ever ruled for so long.

When the Wonder Dynasty first gained power, Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder declared himself their leader. He knew the people were not as knowledgeable as they were, it was easy for him to manipulate them to do his bidding. After two decades had passed, Emperor Feroy stopped showing his face in public, he did not age and he knew people would start asking questions. After five decades, he faked his death to meet the expectations of the masses and that was when the Emperor era ended.

Democracy was the new life the Sovereignty found through the death of Feroy. This was when he began to install puppet heads in his family and the rest of the government body. He continued to rule through those puppets and ensured his family remained in power. Even though he had full control of the war industry and R&D sectors due to his great collection of knowledge and secrets.

Feroy had many sons and daughters that served as puppets for the family. After five decades, they would routinely be replaced with a new son or daughter to deflect suspicion that they were demons serving the Dark Gods and of their immortal status.

The family blended in with the rest of the Sovereignty after a few thousand years. To the public face, they were just another family from the old world that had survived to the present age. But they struck fear in the most powerful and influential people in the Sovereignty, they knew of their power and heard rumors about them that made their skin crawl.

Once the Great Apocalypse had come to an end, the members of the Wonder Family were rewarded. They lived happily amongst each other until the Convergence Event came and washed away all corruption.

Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder:

He was the most powerful man in the High Sovereignty. Born in 1430, he had survived through his immortality, gifted by the Dark Gods he served. In exchange for his tremendous powers, he was tasked to bring about the biggest war in the universe in order to feed the Dark Gods enough power to rip open a rift into the universe and trigger the Apocalypse. Feroy was thought to have died in 2150 by the majority in the Sovereignty. A fake funeral was performed in Lorthon and all watched as the last human emperor was buried in the White Spire.

Only a select few knew the truth about Feroy, his personally chosen servants that served loyally to him and above all else, the Dark Gods themselves.

For many millenia, Feroy kept a low profile in the Sovereignty until the perfect opportune moment arose for him to seize power and set his plans in motion. His trump card was keeping all the knowledge and technology for himself after

"I would like to take the time to congratulate our 306th president. It is a honor that is not given. It is earned. Through hard work and dedication. It is because of this that I am sure that our new and young president will do very well for the family but most of all, the Dark Gods.
Do well and you shall be rewarded by the Dark Gods. Fail and you shall repay with your suffering and agony. They must have their suffering, after all. That is the contract.
The foretold Apocalypse approaches. Do your service, Hanne. I trust that you will not fail and upset me."

- Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder

Service to the Hollows

He intended to amass enough power to become a God of Suffering and bring back the one he loved. This goal was personal to Feroy as he came to admire the Suffering Gods. Ever since he was little boy, he had deep admiration for them and tried to unravel their mystery. Even more so when he'd discovered a Primal God deep within the crust of the Earth during a mining project. It's name was Shuigh and it was one of the two Primal Gods that ruled over Earth in the old world. It told him of a place of pure power and horror, it told him of the Gaunt and of the Suffering Gods. Shuigh became his connection to the Gaunt and allowed him to communicate with them.

The Suffering Gods foretold that Feroy would one day become the ruler of the Human race and be the most powerful being in the universe. All he had to do was bind the fate of his blood-line to the Sufferings and do as they bid. Feroy agreed to this and in exchange, he received extraordinary dark powers of the Gaunt that gave him immortality and immense strength.

Feroy had always been obsessed with power and immortality. Since he naturally was an explorer and loved discovering things about the universe, he hated the idea of dying before he could discover it all. He also adored the idea of having the power to rule, for his upbringing as a child was very neglectful and cruel. Ignored by his family, bullied by his brother and tortured by his step-sister in the family home's basement for many years, he yearned for power to protect himself and those he loved. Now he only yearns power to control and destroy.

It was Emperor Feroy Vlad Wonder who took the Wonder Family and thrust it into immortality through his service to the Suffering Gods. The Suffering Gods told Feroy of what would come in the year 2018, that the Myst would come and destroy humanity. He designed the blueprints for the Origin Ship so that the entire human race could leave the Milky Way and go to a new one. But he kept the blue-prints of all the technology and ideas of the old world for himself and would later use that to gain control of the new society, that is how he gained so much power and influence over the society.

Childhood

He had a rough childhood growing up in a royal family.

When he was 8 years old; Feroy killed his brother, Dentham and his step-sister, Karen after years of relentless bullying and torture. He did it methodically, he first went for Dentham since he was the strongest. He lured Dentham to the kitchen after teasing him and managed to trap him in the large stove, burning him alive. He managed to dodge suspicion and the head chef was falsely arrested and imprisoned for the murder of Dentham. Then, he waited two years before he went for his step-sister who still hounded him and tortured him.

Since Karen was much worse in the bullying of Feroy, including physical torture and psychological torture, he killed her with long drawn out suffering; starvation. He locked her deep underground in the sewers after goading her into going there and asked her if she was scared, he knew she would go in there to prove herself to him. He would come and give her water but refused to give her food, he wanted her to feel the full extent of starvation before denying her water so that she would also experience dehydration as well.

When she died, he hid her body deep inside a cavern so that they wouldn't get a chance to know what happened to her or even bury her. She was reported as missing from day one and after three years, they gave up the search and deemed her dead. This made Randolph and Vera hate Feroy even more and would treat him in a worse manner than before. Vera had always suspected that Feroy was behind the deaths of Dentham and Karen and voiced it to her husband frequently but he dismissed it and told her that Feroy was a pathetic weakling and that it was impossible for this to happen.

Then after five years had passed, Feroy went for Vera and he did it with a vengeance. His father was off on another of his expeditions, which was the perfect opportunity for him to make his move on her. He brought her the glass of wine like she always ordered him to, but this time it was spiked with a sleeping drug. He took her to a deep dungeon where he nailed her hands and feet to a wooden board. He waited for her to wake up and when she did, he began to torture her in all sorts of ways. He pulled out her nails, drove nails into her kneecaps, pulled out all her teeth and mutilated her genitals. He raped her multiple times and eventually, when she begged him for death; he flayed her alive. He peeled all her skin off and fed her skin to her loyal dogs.

Vera slowly bled to death in agonizing pain. When she died, Feroy nailed her body outside the family mansion to a large post. Feroy feigned fear and said that a large group of men came and took her. It broke Randolph's heart when he saw Vera on that post, it drove him mad and suicidal. Feroy did not kill Randolph because he wanted him to feel the pain of losing his entire family, since he didn't consider Feroy a part of the family. He enjoyed watching his father die in the end.

Feroy hated his father, he despised him so much that he had his name removed from the family history roster. He thought him unworthy of being a part of the Wonder Family. Feroy relishes in the fact that he has complete power and strength now, something his father could not do.

The Ultimate Sacrifice

In 1330, my character, Feroy Vlad Wonder, was born into a wealthy and influential family. He had a rough life growing up, he suffered years of relentless bullying, brutal beatings and abuse for being frail and weak. He befriended a girl when he was seven years old and became best friends with her. She was the only person in his life that was ever nice to him. When his family found out about the girl, they questioned Feroy if he knew her. Out of fear, he said he didn't know her and his family had the girl killed for trespassing.

He felt so much guilt that he murdered and tortured almost everybody in his family when he was eight years old and drove his father into a deep depression which led him to commit suicide. Feroy inherited the Wonder Family and became obsessed with mythology/folklore, especially Norse mythology. He researched for many years to find a way to bring back his best friend until one day on an expedition trip, he met a Primal God that granted him a direct line to the Suffering Gods. He made a blood pact with them, in exchange for unlimited power, the Gods demanded only one thing from him, to bring war to the entire universe. This would grant the Suffering Gods enough power to open a portal into the universe and take over.

The Suffering Gods told him of what would happen in 2018, that his world would be invaded by an alien civilization but saved by another. Feroy created an archive of all the blueprints for technology and a huge library that contained all the knowledge available in the world. He planned for this day so that he could begin his mission. The Eateru who saved Earth gave them technology which Feroy collected through his influence and power in the world to create designs for a "Noah's Ark" to transport humanity off world as it was dying.

When they moved to a new planet, he used his blueprint/knowledge archive to seize control over the entire human race as Emperor and created an oppressive government to control them. After he faked his death, he used proxies to act in his stead for the next sixty thousand years to influence the Council to use their army to declare war and wipe out alien civilizations so he could trigger a war across the universe.

After 500 years of war, the Suffering Gods became powerful enough to create a portal into the universe and take over with their legions of demons. After another 500 years, the human race was wiped out and later on the rest of the universe was wiped out. The Gods were pleased with Feroy and granted him power to become a Suffering God.

He used this power to bring back his best friend so he could tell her how sorry he was and that he loved her. She lived for only one day before she died and disappeared.

History:

The Wonder Family lived in a great castle under the rule of Vlad Tepes from 1100 - 1477. The Wonder Family was called the Wolnir Family before Feroy changed it to the Wonder Family when he took his family to England, it became Wondiera during the 17th century then America during the 19th century, it became Wonder. Lord Randolph decided to take on the Vlad name as their middle name out of respect and honor for Vlad Tepes. Vlad Tepes was a warrior of Wrath, a demon lord that was invincible at night and could destroy entire armies. He worshiped Trost, the God of Wrath and it is thought that Feroy Wonder was connected to the Suffering Gods through Vlad's family's lineage of service to them for centuries. Vlad Tepes became immortalized in the Wrath realm for his service, he is now a part of the Ten Psychopaths and his Suffering is revenge.

The Wolnir Family was very keen on exploration and had a lot of wealth as a result of a direct lineage to the Vlad Tepes family. Lord Randolph began the Wolnir Expedition in 1318 where it would take on a host of explorers to the remote areas of the world unexplored for many years. After Feroy became the sole survivor of the Wolnir Family, he inherited it and found a wife to preserve it. It became the Wonder Family and Feroy would use it to assist in his quest to discover a way to ressurect his loved one.

Appearance & Personality:

Feroy appeared as a slender, pale skinned man who stood at 8 feet tall. His skin was translucent which was similar to severe burns. His translucent skin revealed obvious Cosmic Horror corruption features underneath such as sharp teeth and gaping holes. His pupils were dark red and the area around his eyes were reddened, an almost tearful red eyes. His hair was long and jet black. He wore a black silk suit and tie from pre-origin times.

He was a man of ruthless intellect and cunning who was capable of pitting enemies against one another through deceit and trickery. He was calculating and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do to achieve his goals. Feroy did not care about the people around him, they were all insigificant in comparison to his loved one. Although he was known to feign kindness and compassion towards those he considered intelligent and on his social class level. He killed many political opponents before they could oust him, sometimes outright in plain sight.

Nobody ever spoke up against him for fear of retaliation, his family was known to be powerful and rumors spread about their grip on the H.S.G.

His relationship with his family was purely a mission driven one. He used his children as proxies to rule over the Sovereignty and they served as a means to an end. Anyone outside of his immediate family meant nothing to him, although it was expected of them to act up to standards as they represented the family. If they insulted, made the family look bad or plotted against the family then he had them immediately executed. He did not believe in half-measures, he ensured that entire families were be inbred out of existence, every shred of their pride and name were remembered in the history books as inbred sexual deviants without an ounce of dignity left. He enslaved many rival family members as an Aborgal for his pets to show those who opposed him their fates should they attempt it.

Many attempted to assassinate Feroy throughout his life but with his incredible powers, he would overpower them and have them tortured for information. The many unsuccessful attempts on his life discouraged people from doing it and they resorted to using politics to drive him out instead. But his influence was too great, the Sovereignty needed him for his technological advances and war strategies.

Lord Randolph Vlad Wonder:

Randolph was born in 1290 and started the Wonder Machine in 1318 which was a historical exploration group that ventured around the world on Earth to uncover secrets of the world. He became very rich as a result of his many discoveries made of the world, including the seven wonders of the world. Randolph married his wife, Vera in the year 1330 and gave birth to two children; Feroy Vlad Wonder and Dentham Vlad Wonder.

He neglected Feroy much after the death of his wife and favored Dentham over Feroy since it was Dentham who showed much ambition while Feroy did not show promise of greatness. Dentham would bully Feroy often for his weakness and took great joy in doing so. Randolph remarried and brought a step-sister into the fold, who tortured Feroy even further along with Dentham. Randolph did not love Feroy and would treat him badly, he would beat him if he looked at him funny or in a way he did not like. He would make him perform menial labor and made him sleep in the tools shed out at the back of the mansion. He never treated him properly, showed him affection or rewarded him. Randolph despised Feroy because he saw him as weak, due to his frail, small figure and his overall passiveness made him disgusted with Feroy. That is why he beat him often, he thought it would make a man out of him and would regularly refer him as "meat".

He had four dogs that he would use to hunt foxes.

He went mad and became suicidal after the deaths of Dentham, Karen and Vera. He no longer looked after himself and became a recluse.

Randolph died in 1446 after he blew his head off with a cannon. Leaving his entire inheritance to his son, Feroy Vlad Wonder.

Lady Vera Vlad Wonder:

Once of the Larson Family, she married to Lord Randolph in the year 1830 and gave birth to two children; Feroy Vlad Wonder and Dentham Vlad Wonder. She was a very cruel and strict woman, she liked order and quiet. She had a short temper when Randolph wasn't around and would scold Feroy if he made so much as a whisper of a sound. Her behavior changed like night and day depending on Randolph's presence, she would act like a lady and would present herself in a majestic manner. But when he was not around, she became dull and vicious, she took joy in beating Feroy with a metal pipe and would make sure he bled before she was satisfied.

Randolph had the belief that women shouldn't be allowed to dish out punishment nor should they step out of place. That it was the men that should deal out punishment and lecture those that stepped out of place. Randolph got very mad when he caught her beating Feroy one day, but it wasn't because Feroy was getting hurt, it was because Vera, a woman, stepped out of her place and dealt punishment when she shouldn't be.

She was tortured and murdered by Feroy and later her flesh was fed to Randolph's dogs.

Legacy Hanne Vlad Wonder:

The 305th head of the family. He was as powerful as he was vicious, many opposing dissidents were publicly tortured and executed under his rule. But still, he acted only as a puppet for Emperor Feroy Wonder just as the other heads. Given the duty to keep the Black Council, Military Police and Armed Forces under Wonder control, he gained a reputation for himself in Lorthon and the Sovereignty. People pledged loyalty out of fear, fear for his wrath and as the Emperor and Government backed him, he was invincible.

Hanne Wonder was a demon just as his father was, immortal and powerful in every sense. He pledged loyalty to the God of Wrath and promised an insurmountable amount of corpses to be butchered in his name. Born through the dark magic of the Suffering Gods, he gained his affinity for sadism and psychopathy from Trost, the Wrath God and Larathan, the Rape Goddess.

He is most infamous for his systematic butchering of the Emperson Family when he had discovered of their traitorous schemes to bring down the Wonder Family. He had the entire family put into the death arena, the Troid and made to fight each other to the death. But first, he made the family inbreed and create children of incest. He would make them breed many children through flaying and torture. Some mothers gave birth without arms or limbs on a table screaming.

After they had provided with an acceptable amount of sons and daughters, they were forced into the arena to fight against one another. They were carefully split up to ensure that a male and female victor would arise from it in order to keep the blood-line alive. The victors would then be kept in captivity until their children grew big enough to fight in the arena.

They injected the victors with the Aborgal serum, a failed experiment to create superhuman soldiers. It made them large, mindless and vicious. They would send the children into the ring and allow them to be butchered, though not all of them. The remaining two victors had to be a male and a female, Lord Hanne ensured this would happen.

The victors would then be forced to repeat the process of inbreeding, to create children with learning difficulties and deformities caused by excessive inbreeding. This process would repeat for many centuries until the Emperson Family was all but a gang of deformed, mentally challenged creatures that could barely think for themselves.

A calculated move by Lord Hanne to completely wipe out every shred of their legacy, honor and dignity from the history books. He would have what was left of them paraded throughout the city as a reminder of what happened when they raised a hand against the Wonder Family.

There were many heads mounted on spikes on the outer gates of the White Spire, the heads of his dead political opponents. He had no reason to fear any backlash for what he did due to his connection to his father and the Government.

Hanne's wife was Lady Kirsten Vlad Wonder, she was his sister and his plaything. He had chosen her as his wife as he knew she was the easiest to gain a reaction out of when he tormented her as children. For many years, she dealt with his psychotic behavior in private and endured rape, flaying and all manner of torture.

Lord Hanne ended up killing his wife in childbirth when she failed to provide him with a boy as he desired. He tore each of her limbs off on the very hospital bed she gave birth on and rammed each one up the loose vagina that she birthed through. She later died of her injuries.

It was only after Emperor Feroy Wonder had learned of this that he intervened, he would not allow a member of his family to harm or kill another member. He saved the little girl from Lord Hanne and exercised his dark demonic powers on Lord Hanne to teach him who was in power.

Emperor Feroy mutilated and deformed Hanne until he was barely a shadow of his former self. He had Lord Hanne removed from power and forced into exile within the high chambers of the White Spire in Lorthon. He would not kill his son but he would certainly keep him out of sight and kept him busy by allowing him to indulge his sadistic tendencies in there.

Lord Hanne had become drunk with power and believed he could overthrow Emperor Feroy and take the Sovereignty for himself. Emperor Feroy did what he did in order to save his family and to complete his mission for the Suffering Gods.

Though in his exile, the Goddess of Rape was pleased with him and decided that he belonged in Venus, the Rape Realm. He became a demon lord of rape and racked up many corpses on his totem pole during his time in Venus. Emperor Feroy did not care for Lord Hanne and left him to his own devices.

Legacy Dagen Vlad Wonder

Planted into power as the 306th head of the Wonder Family. Lord Dagen was quite a level-headed leader as opposed to his vicious brother, Lord Hanne Wonder.

Lord Dagen made many changes to the Sovereignty through the H.S.G that had him very well liked by many politicians. He had learned the arts of diplomacy from his father and had mastered the arts of being a charming man. It was hard to refuse a kind man's offer, he had learned.

He was kind and went against the grain. Lord Dagen even felt sympathetic to the blight of civilians that lived under Hanne's rule. His rule was a mission to undo all that his brother had done, that meant undoing the Alteration Act and giving back control and free thought to civilians once again.

Emperor Feroy was pleased with Dagen's rule, he had made people think of the Wonder Family as a reasonable and influential power in the political hemisphere.

The Royal Guard

Cymyerym

Cymer for short, they were tall slender, four legged creatures with a smooth and abstract appearance. Their feet are curled inwards. Their faces have no eyes but instead, several tentacles sprout from the mouth. They are a part of the Morthe coalition to destroy the Human race. They have a particularly long history with the Sovereignty including many horrors of war being inflicted upon their people. The Cymer believe in the balance of the universe, having a very strict and abstract view of life. They believe that every now and then, a great cleansing of the universe must occur in order to stop from life overpopulating. They have done it once in the past where a very resilient species spread and populated every corner of the universe, long before mankind existed.

Since then, they bide their time in looking after their world and creating eco-friendly tech for themselves. Heavily influenced by the Eateru and their great knowledge, they did not approve of the Eateru's desire to leave the universe for they believed that all life must stay where they were placed in the first place to preserve the balance.

Their worlds are wonderful forest worlds, their technology is hardly visible as it has almost completely merged with their surroundings and act as a part of the ecosystem in a way. They live in large glass bubbles surrounded by the largest trees, in complete plain sight of the rolling plains and thick forests. Their technology is in tune with nature itself, their ships are made out of a strange glass-like material that seems to not break under the most stressful conditions.

Their war technology uses biological agents that will suffocate the atmosphere of their enemies and kill them. They do not engage the enemy directly on the battlefield and prefer to use their bubble ships to launch their war weapons against their enemies. If threatened, they can easily travel at several times the speed of light and escape.

The Cymer have hated the Humans for a very long time. Their very first encounter involved in the genocide of trillions of Cymers on their homeworld, the Humans had launched several anti-matter nukes at their world to wipe the surface clean. It is now a factory world that produces war machines for the Sovereignty.

The Myst have also been very aggressive towards the Cymer, destroying many of their worlds in their war conquest to wipe everybody but themselves out. The Cymers can do little to nothing to halt them, their weapons cannot suffocate them while they rest in their giant machines and their armor is extremely powerful. It is thought that the Cymer may have had a history with the Myst longer than previously thought, the true nature of this history remains a mystery.

Recently the Cymer came under attack from the Suffering Legions, particularly the Rape Legions that have taken a liking to their tranquil worlds and want to twist it. Several reports have shown the Cymer fleeing their many worlds in the Cathsor Live Galaxy, to come to the Era Galaxy. This is most likely to rendevous with other Morthe factions and recover.

They reproduce by shedding their skin. The moult left behind will be a young Cymer that will eventually fill out and grow into an adult Cymer.

Theta

The rout of civilization, responsible for the massacre of countless civilizations in the universe. The Theta were a perfectionalist species that had no regard for life other than themselves. They saw other species as inferior to themselves, no better than parasites from their point of view. Eradicating entire galaxies to do so. When the Apocalypse broke out, they quickly set their sights on the Great Horrors and exterminating them.

They weren't intelligent, however. While they created technological wonders, they relied on their technology to do everything for them. As a result of this, they began to revert back to their instinctive and animalistic nature that made them focus on a single purpose; to wipe out everything that wasn't them. Efficient and ruthless, they propagated across many galaxies with their Hulk machines and exterminated everything with impunity.

They were some of the most advanced and cruel civilizations in the universe.

The Hulk

The Hulks were the war machines the Theta used to exterminate civilizations. They made absolutely no sound when they landed or walked across the planet. A Hulk could sneak up on you without you ever knowing it was there. It was only when they triggered their planet-shattering weapon that their presence was made known.

It was the only machine in their arsenal that was used for war, as they had perfected the art of technological warfare, they found no more use in advancing or making alterations to their machines. Which concided with their lack of ability to construct or invent new technology due to their extreme regressions in intelligence and sentinence as a species.

There were decillions of Hulks built for the specific role of exterminating civilizations that the Theta deemed inferior to themselves. They were later repurposed to wipe out all life in the universe without discrimination to deprive the Great Horrors of resources and numbers in the Apocalypse.

If they needed to harvest planets for resources then they only sent one machine for each planet. They would land gently on the surface and lock itself into the planet so it could use the planet-shattering weapon to quickly break the planet apart and harvest the resources left floating around in the aftermath. It took them around ten minutes to complete this.

Appearance & Capabilities

The body was a large capsule in the shape of an upright leaf made out of a black metal-looking material. It was carried by six large crab-like legs that were powered by rotary pistons. The hull was smooth metallic in nature and dark black. A very minimalistic design in nature.

They were roughly 10 km in height but strangely enough, as heavy as they should've been, their footsteps didn't even disturb the ground. They made no sound and the ground never shook. It was like as if they weren't there.

The hull of the Hulk was made out of nano-matter that absorbed anything that could make them stronger and that energy was stored in the star within that powered the machines. Although that had a limit and the star could become unstable. For that reason, the armor was only meant as a cautionary back-up in the event their shields failed, however rare it was. The true strength of the Hulk was in their powerful shield technology that deflected and prevented anything from reaching the machines as they continued to shatter the planet.

The shield also produced an electromagnetic static in the atmosphere which disabled power grids wherever it went. A Hulk was armed with two different weapons designed for specific circumstances.

First, the Gamma Ray Burst that could be triggered by releasing the energy from by the star within the Hulk at wherever they desired via coordinate selection. The second was a powerful shockwave weapon that would produce extremely high sound frequencies to essentially break planets apart through violent vibrations.

It turned fleshy enemies into flesh bags filled with crumpled bones and reduced structures to grounded dust. This weapon was the nightmare of the H.S.A.F, for hearing it even from a considerable distance inflicted excruciating pain upon the ears and burst eardrums, permanently deafening them.

When they landed on worlds, they would hover and land gently and quietly. Then they locked themselves into place so they could trigger their soundwave weapon and destroy the planet. Their shields and armor prevented the inhabitants of the planet from halting their destruction.

The Apocalypse

Quadrillions of Hulks were built just before the Great Horrors invaded. Their creation formed a huge trail throughout the universe as many galaxies disappeared or had spots devoid of stars in them. Many worlds and stars were harvested to create them. These machines had the original purpose of being used to carry out the extermination of all life and conquer the universe so that they would become the only species in existence and from their perspective, they would reshape the universe into perfection.

They had come to the same conclusion as the Eateru, they had discovered the other dimensions and knew their path was never meant to end in this universe. It was decided then that they would cleanse this universe before moving onto the next. But when the Great Horrors invaded, they remained behind to exterminate them.

The very many civilizations that existed were consumed by the Great Horrors, the Theta purged their galaxies with impunity on their way towards the Gaunt itself. Eventually, the Great Legions had wiped out all life and at that point, almost virtually every cubic meter of the universe was occupied by the Cosmic Horrors of the Gaunt. All that was left in their path was the Theta, whose fleets of Hulks spanned a million galaxies in diameter.

It was a brutal battle, the Theta was by far the only civilization that managed to kill much of the Cosmic Horrors before the last of them went down. They had killed so many that they struggled to push through the flood of corpses left behind.

Haley IV

In the year 36540 in the galaxy known as Little Red, in the Star System Fortus Locke on the fifth planet from the star called Hayley IV; a crashed Hulk left over from many eons ago was unearthed. The Theta crew inside the Hulk went into hyper-sleep and remained in preservation soon after impact on Haley IV. When they were awoken after decades of mining, the Hulk went on a rampage that lasted for several months before finally being taken down several thousands of miles west from where they were unearthed.

This Hulk killed 67.5 trillion people including soldiers out of a 30 quadrillion population, destroyed several mega-cities and nearly set the atmosphere aflame. Later reports discovered that it did not have a working shield, the armor was badly damaged from the initial crash and the crew couldn't access their P.S.P which reduced their options to venting posionous runaway gas from the star core inside into the atmosphere.

This was later known as the Dark Days by the inhabitants of Hayley IV. It was on this day that the High Sovereignty realized the power and terror of the Theta. The Dark Days was used as a piece of propaganda tool by the Wonder Family to drive the War on Xenomorphs movement.

It was believed that the Hulk model was an extremely old one, prior to their defeat by the Great Horrors and on Earth. The Sovereignty was not prepared for such a threat and their military was severely outclassed in every aspect. This incident resulted in many technological and strategic reforms in the military and civil engineering to ensure they would be prepared for another incident like this.

This incident also marked the first time mankind encountered the Theta after 30,000 years.

Christopher III

A raid of Vaugers were sent to the colony world Christopher III in a very distant galaxy on the outer edges of Sovereignty space. They intended to harvest the energy of that system's star and destroy all worlds that orbited it.

The Appearance of the Theta

They were made of several strands of fleshy tentacle muscles that could form any shape they pleased in order to move or manipulate their environment in any way they needed to. That meant that they were capable of expanding or contracting their tentacles if needed.

Their body was like a tube but made with several tentacles lined up together vertically that could individually move. Their war machines were filled with a type of yellow liquid that had nutrients in it, the pores that ran across their flesh allowed them to absorb the nutrients that granted them a steady supply of energy. They lived in this liquid and while they could exist outside of it, the tremendous supply of energy needed for them to function is what kept them in this liquid of theirs.

They had no organs with the exception of a brain that essentially ran throughout the entire body. That allowed them full control of every part of their body and enabled them to regenerate lost limbs simply by thinking it. They could renew the cells in their bodies just by thinking it by using the nutrients in their liquid for energy to duck decay and live indefinitely.

They did not have eyes, ears or any sensory instruments in their bodies. Pain could not be felt, they were only notified through their technology. Their technology took over that role aspect for them as they transitioned to their war machines as a sensory replacement after trillions of years of evolution. And they interact with their technology through blocks of goo they used to plug their tentacles into to manipulate every part of the war machine they control as they pleased by moving their tentacles around in the goo.

It was the perfect biological being that had reverted back to their animalistic instincts. With no true sentinence and their only remaining instinct to exterminate all life was carried out by their Hulk swarms. The newer generations were barely a shadow of the hyper-intelligent beings their ancestors were. They simply continued their mission without the ability to reflect.

The Everdark

The civilization that was responsible for the 2055 Earth massacre and triggering the events that led humanity to explore the stars and settle on Lorthon. They were a branch that separated from the Theta during the early years of their civilization, back when it was still a Type 0 civilization that resided in the Milky Way. That still used miniturized black holes to power their technology and was only capable of interstellar travel.

After fighting for thousands of years to survive the Great Horrors, they were forced to flee. But after many thousands of years of traveling, they became a shadow of their former selves. Their technology was ancient, badly damaged and their intelligence had dwindled and many thousands of years of inbreeding during their exodus had damaged their genetic purity, they were weak and starving.

Their technology was all that kept them propped up, but even that was beginning to fail as well. By some random chance, they accidentally entered a stray black hole, in the middle of nowhere and ended up in the Milky Way.

They found no Great Horror presence there, so they decided to search for viable worlds to build colonies on. In the year 750 B.O.S, they found the Humans' Star-System with three viable planets, they went there.

It took them 1,305 years to reach the Humans' Star-System, with what was left of their swarm. It was the year 1934 when they got close enough to discover that one of the planets had a civilization living there, it was then that they planned the extermination of that civilization.

It was the year 2055 when they reached Earth.

They blew their moon to pieces to cause instability in the planet and trigger natural disasters that would wreak havoc and weaken the Human civilization enough for an easy victory. In the aftermath, the Everdark landed with their great machines and after two hours, they had defeated the militaries of the world.

But just as they were about to crush the last of the Human resistance, they began to collapse out of nowhere. The gravity of the Earth was too strong for the weakened, genetically inferior beings that lived inside those war machines. They were dying, dying because the gravity stopped all bloodflow in their very large mass of bodies. It was something they had not considered, with their severely reduced intelligence and fragile state of mind, they did not consider the gravity of the planet would kill them in their fragile states.

The Humans had survived extinction because of the mistakes the Everdark made and their arrogance in thinking their war machines would let them survive. When all was done, the death toll reached roughly 4.8 billion.

Something the humans later found and seized for themselves which propelled their technological advances beyond imagination at the time.

The Kindle

The Kindle was a species that conquered through deception. They possessed exceptionally powerful technology that enabled them to destroy civilizations with ease. But that wasn't their objective, they wanted complete subjugation of all species so they would come under their culture and rule.

Their strategy often involved re-directing asteroids towards worlds they wanted to subjugate. The asteroids were carefully chosen so as to not completely wipe out the entire civilization but to cause enough damage that they were vulnerable and could not support themselves. Then they came to them under the guise of a benevolent civilization, offering aid and technology to save them from the disaster they brought upon them.

This crippled the economy of their worlds, destroyed any culture or nation they previously had and forced them to completely rely on alien aid instead. This effectively enslaved them and they became a part of the Kindle. But for those that resisted and refused them? Their planet were bombarded with several extinction-level asteroids that ensured their extinction.

Ilk

The Ilk were a mentally advanced species that chose not to advance in technology in favor of focusing on the mind. They created incredible constructs with the mind, like Fable which was essentially a construct that exists nowhere else but in their collective minds.

In Fable, they went on to create mind-bogglingly impossible structures and invented things that were not possible in the real world. Their minds would continue to exist in Fable while their real bodies decomposed. There was speculation that the Ilk had created a completely new dimension with their minds after many thousands of years of learning how to harness the full potential of their brains.

Their real world bodies were a form of fungus that grew on the walls of deep caves on their world, Dea, which they never left. They had gradually devolved from complex plant life as their minds grew to remain stationary and to avoid danger from natural predators or natural disasters. Eventually retreating to the safety of deep and dark caves, they continued to co-exist in their collective bubble and strengthened their minds.

While this species was nowhere near the level of a mere sentient tribe, the feats they performed with the mind alone earned them a spot among the unviverses' greatest species. To create a dimension of their own without the necessity of technology was something very few could achieve. Even more so to be able to shift into that dimension and create an universe inside it.

Due to their reclusive nature, they never made contact with another civilization or species in the universe. They went extinct when Convergence Event came.

Juxtaopiode

The Juxtaopiode Civilization was a Type I Civilization on the Kardashev scale. It was a civilization whose species was literally an intelligent shade of cyan. They were capable of communicating via atomic collisions and adjusting molecules to their needs. They reproduced through transforming every single piece of molecule or atomic structure into a shade of cyan, like themselves.

A constant process of cloning and spreading allowed them to finally create super-structures that could produce perfect fusion using hydrogen-based planets that gave them an almost infinite source of atoms and molecules to sustain themselves. Although this meant that they needed to spread to find more hydrogen-based planets and this made them somewhat of a galactic pest as they could not recognize other living creatures. So they inadvertently wiped out entire civilizations without knowing it.

Their natural ability to manipulate atoms and molecules allowed them to skip millions of years of evolution to gain their intelligence and knowledge, unlike most civilizations. They had acquired their intelligence and knowledge through their research in atomic and molecular structure although this was purely based on just that, atoms and molecules. Which is why they didn't have the ability to recognize life other than themselves, they could not comprehend fully formed and complex organisms it was their assumption that they were just another simple structure that could be used to further their own species.

The Juxtaopiode had a different reality to other species. What they saw were structures of atoms and molecules, they couldn't see what these structures actually looked like as they lacked the ability to do so. But they were smart in knowing and understanding that the universe was not the only thing that existed, they knew through their extensive research that they could in fact replicate themselves outside of this universe although how to do remained a mystery to them.

Xobbee

A Type I civilization that had a specific fascination with genetic altering of biological beings. The genetic alterations they made to countless specimens they abducted from lesser civilizations or non-sentinent creatures were intended to make them as abstract as they possibly could to see the very limits to what those species could endure before complete biological failure. In other words, they tampered with the genetic coding of species to see how badly they could degrade and deform them before they could not survive in any measure.

Xobbee was a singular word referring to a collective that have no other vision but to genetically tamper and alter species into pets, playthings or otherwise subjects to further advance their understanding of biology across the universe. Xobbee itself was a

Humans were one of the many species Xobbee had abducted and experimented on in their galaxy. The first iterations of their genetic tampering in human beings came in the form of a 30 centimeter tall, stick thin humanoid that had a large brain bulging through a soft and thin cranium. The eyes bulged, almost popping out of the sockets. Hairless with a creamy pinkish skin. They had a plethora of breathing problems, inability to move without complete exhaustion and typically lived only 30 minutes to an hour before their heart had complete failure.

The later iterations had them become so abstract that there was barely any recognizable traits associated with the human species. Some were flaps of conscious skin wrapped around a brain and nothing else. Some ended up being nothing but a hairy testicle with eyes, a single ear and a barely functional brain.

Xobbee made pets out of their genetically altered subjects and found entertainment in interacting with them. It was Xobbee belief that they looked cute and friendly after their genetic tampering. They had planet zoos that were dedicated to housing these deformed creations and would be visited by Xobbee for their entertainment. These creations were specifically created to not have a need to feed and lack the ability to procreate in order to prevent overpopulation and starvation.

The Maya Era

From 750 BC to 650 AD, the Maya Civilization worshiped the Primal Gods and sated their thirst for blood. Led by a powerful demon that was once human who was named Unsurpan Cortez, he ruled over the Maya Civilization and did the bidding of the Primal Gods that lived on Earth during the early days of human civilization.

It was the Primal Gods that taught Cortez how to build great pyramids long before any other civilization ever learned to. Through Cortez, the Maya gained vast knowledge of their world and were at the forefront in technology and innovation for their time.

Their entire civilization revolved around the worship of the Primal Gods, even if they didn't fully understand them or know what they wanted. They had to take the word of Cortez who displayed spectacular power in performing miracles and feats of strength in war.

Cortez' Comrants (generals) were given the gift of power as well, they formed a council together to distribute power evenly across the Maya civilization. Each sub-group of the Maya had a Comrant that ruled over it as leader.

The Maya people believed with every sacrifice of their enemies would contribute to the pool of blood and satisfy the Primal Gods. After enough sacrifices were offered, they would have their flesh flayed to "lay their soul bare" for the Primal Gods to see them worthy.

It was believed that the Gods would be pleased and allow them to be with their Gods in Domhan Fola, roughly translated to Blood World. The Maya peoples' belief in Domhan Fola stemmed from Cortez' vision that came to him during an eclipse, he saw the Gaunt itself and the foretelling of the eventual corruption of the entire universe by the Dark Gods. Cortez did not fully understand the vision and simply thought the Primal Gods thirsted for blood and death.

Many Maya feared Cortez and his demonic powers, they came to offer men and women to please the Gods with sacrifices and not incur the wrath of Cortez.

Great Cephalopods

Marine life managed to survive the Everdark invasion millions of years after Earth's eco-system was wrecked. Cephalopods were among some of the marine life to survive and in the destruction and ruin, their desperation forced them
