Vore Mechanics and Feats

Vore Feats

Starting at level 1, you earn a vore feat every level. Companions of any kind may also take these feats if they too meet the requirements.
These feats do not take slots from your natural and class progressed feats

The Eating

Before a predator can eat their prey, their prey must first be grappled by either the predator or supporting party.

Devour Round:

Full round action (1d6 attempts): 1d20 + CMB + STR Mod vs their CMD + CON Mod.

  • For willing prey, rolls are automatically counted as a pass unless a critical fail is rolled.

    Size Modifiers

The size relationship between predator and prey will determine the amount of successful Devour checks:
  • -1 check for each size mod lower
  • Smaller Prey = 3 check
  • Same-size Prey = 4 checks
  • Larger Prey = 5 checks
  • +1 check for each size mod higher.

The Stomach

Once the predator have secured their prey inside, the predator can declare their stomach to be in one of two states:

Endo:

The predator can supress their stomach acids, causing no damage to the prey inside so long as the predator remain conscious.

Digest:

At the beginning of the predator's next turn, acid damage is dealt to the prey inside equal to 1d4 + their Hit Die.

Note:

The stomach does not discriminate. If the predator has a hostile and a friendly in their belly, both will take acid damage if in the digestion state.

The Escaping

At the beginning of the prey's turn, if they want to try and escape a predator's belly, they get 1d6 number of escape attempts vs the predator's single Hold Attempt

Escaping:

  • Hold attempt: 1d20 + CMD
  • Escape attempt: 1d20 + Hit Die + (Current HP/4)(Round to nearest)

Escaping:

-The prey must pass the required amount of escape attempts to fully escape the predator.

Size Modifiers

The size relationship between predator and prey will determine the amount of Escape Checks they are required to pass. This progress is accumulative:

  • -1 check for each size mod lower
  • Smaller Predator = 3 escape checks
  • Same-size Predator = 4 escape checks
  • Larger Predator = 5 escape checks
  • +1 escape checks for each size mod higher.

Successful Escapes:

  • Successfully escaping the predator's belly will have the prey prone on the ground.
  • The Predator will afflicted with "Vore Sickness" for 2d4 turns.
  • Vore Sickness cuts all Devour and Hold rolls by half.

The Horking

If the predator wishes to expel their prey, then the predator may take a turn to do so:

Regurgitation Round:

Full Action Round (1d6 Attempts): 1d20 + CMB + STR Mod vs their CMD + CON Mod.

  • For willing prey, rolls are automatically counted as a pass unless a critical fail is rolled.
  • Size modifiers remain the same for the amount of passes required to expel the prey. (See Devour Size Modifers).

Belly Cover

A predator's belly can be used as cover towards allies. The cover is determines on the size of the belly and the ally hiding behind it. Attacks missing because of the cover buff will hit the predator instead.

  • Example: A predator with a Large size mod prey in their belly will offer the (+2) Total Cover Type to a Small size mod ally.

  • Soft Partial provides only +2 AC with no reflex bonus.
  • Soft Full provides +4 AC with no reflex bonus.

Scenarios / Actions

Desperation Spree

At the end of combat, if there are still live hostile prey inside a predator's belly, all prey becomes desperate and give a last ditch effort to escape.

Pred's Action

The predator rolls a standard Hold Attempt for each prey.

Prey's Action

Each prey rolls the number of checks needed to escape + 2.

  • If they fail, they can no longer try to escape

Kneading Belly

• As a standard action, you can choose to massage your belly (or an ally's) to deal 1d4 + STR Mod non-lethal damage to the prey inside.

Switching Digestion Statues

  • Digestion to Endo - Predator rolls a 1d4. The value rolled is the amount of acid damage that is reduced and accumulates each round. When total damage (after rolls) reaches zero, the belly is now in an Endo state.
  • Endo to Digestion - Predator rolls a 1d4. The value rolled is the bonus damage from the standard 1d4 roll for acid damage(minus the Hit Die bonus), accumulating each round. When the total bonus reaches half of the predator's total Hit Die, the belly is now in a Digestion state.

Critical Vore Checks

Devour Checks

  • Critical Pass will grant the predator an additional pass to their required Devour checks.
  • A critical fail will reduce the passed devour checks by 2

Hold Checks

  • Critical Pass will have the predator make an extremely loud belch, dealing 2d6 non-lethal damage, and reduce their progress by 1. This fails stealth checks if required.
  • Critical Fail will grant the prey a free passing Escape Check and grants the predator nausua until the end of their next turn (does not stack).

Escape Checks

  • Critical Pass will grant the prey a instant pass to escape
  • Critical Fail reduces their escape progress to 0

Obtaining Prey's Items

All items that were currently present on the prey after consumption is retrieved by the predator after a full rest.
