College of Movement

Bards of the College of Movement are renowned dancers and acrobats who enchant their audiences with majestic, seductive, or technically impressive choreography. These same skills are also used to combat foes with breathtaking efficiency and grace.

Headliner

When you join the College of Movement at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Acrobatics and Performance. If you already have proficiency in one or both of these skills, you gain expertise in one or both.

Rhythmic Dodging

Beginning at 3rd level, while you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier.

Aggressive Pirouette

Also at 3rd level, you know how to use the momentum of your dancing to strike your foes.

You gain the following benefits while you are aren’t wearing armor or wielding a shield:

  • You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes.
  • You can roll a d4 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strikes.
  • If you use your action to make an Attack or to cast a spell, you can make one unarmed strike as a bonus action.

Your unarmed attack die increases at certain levels: 1d6 at 6th level and 1d8 at 14th.

Extra Attack

Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Enchanting Choreography

Also at 6th level, your unarmed strikes count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. In addition, you have advantage against being knocked prone and you no longer provoke opportunity attacks after making an unarmed strike on your turn.

Showstopping Performance

At 14th level, You perform a mezmerizing dance that catches everyone's eye. As an action, you can expend a bardic inspiration dice, the resulting roll of which is added to the attack rolls of allies and subtracted from enemy attack rolls until the beginning of your next turn. Only allies and enemies that can see you are affect by this feature.
