Description
As beings who have peeked past the veil of mortal existence, Metaphysicists do not gain their power from study of arcane text, a magical bloodline, or an otherworldly patron. Rather, their power merely comes from the untapped potential that resides in all creatures. Metaphysicists are the keepers of the world’s sacred secrets, the machinations that bind reality together.
Though the Gods may be real, Metaphysicists only see them as creatures with less intrinsic hindrances, able to utilize their natural power more easily than what the layman calls “mortals”. They understand that one’s own belief, if strong enough, can rival even the power of the Gods. By understanding the relationship between the physical and the spiritual, they are able to unlock the mortal shackles of their soul, and absorb parts of The Weave, to keep within themselves.
Metaphysicists bend reality, by briefly becoming part of it.
