\page # Asgardian Spider *V1* Spun from the threads of Yggdrasil and blessed with the might of Asgard, the Web Warriors are a unique race of spider-humanoid Asgardians. Possessing both the strength of gods and the agility of arachnids, these guardians weave their webs across the nine realms, protecting the innocent and ensuring balance.

### Origins: Natural Asgardian: Some Web Warriors are born to Asgardian parents infused with the magic of Yggdrasil's web-weave. These individuals manifest their arachnid traits later in life, with spider-like limbs erupting from their bodies and an inherent affinity for webs. Clones: Those that are created from the DNA of both a Asgardian and a Spider Human like Peter Parker or Miles Morales, along with people like Thor or Loki, or lost characetrs like Baldur. Children of Loki: The trickster god's penchant for mischief occasionally takes the form of playful transformations. Some Web Warriors are the unfortunate (or fortunate) recipients of these magical pranks, permanently bonded to the spider form. Arachne's Legacy: Legend tells of a powerful weaver named Arachne, who dared to challenge Athena in a weaving contest. Though turned into a spider for her hubris, her spirit lingers within Yggdrasil's web. Occasionally, her essence merges with Asgardian souls, birthing Web Warriors. Crossed Realm Echoes: As the nine realms intersect, echoes of otherworldly creatures can sometimes blend with Asgardian life. Occasionally, this results in Web Warriors exhibiting traits of both realms, like spider limbs and bioluminescent markings. Vanir Descendants: The Vanir, known for their connection to nature and shapeshifting magic, have produced offspring with Asgardians. These Web Warriors often express their mixed heritage through spider-like senses and an affinity for healing magic. ### Physical Traits: Humanoid Base: Web Warriors resemble Asgardians in stature and build, though their bodies are often leaner and more agile. Eight Limbs: Four powerful arms, usually ending in sharp claws, sprout from their backs alongside their normal human arms. These limbs can be used for climbing, fighting, and manipulating webs. Enhanced Senses: Their spider senses grant them acute vision, especially in low light, and an uncanny ability to detect vibrations and changes in air pressure. Spinnerets: Tiny glands near their abdomen produce silken threads, strong enough to restrain giants and sharp enough to cut through metal. Markings: Runes, intricate web patterns, or bioluminescent markings might adorn their skin, hinting at their origin or magical connection.

\page # Web Warrior Traits The trauts here will show the bonuses for being one of these web warriors. **Attribute Bonuses**: +2 Charisma Or Dex +1 Con or Strength **Walking Speed:** 30 feet but 40 Feet when swinging in the air. **Languages:** Languages: You can speak, read, and write Asgardian and Common. **Super Energy:** 1d10 (6) + Con modifier **Skills:** Choose between Athletics, Insight, Perception, or Persuasion. **Spider Sense:** Your spider-like physiology grants you a heightened sense of danger, warning you of impending attacks. When you are about to take damage, you can use your reaction to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a successful save, you take half damage from the attack. **Asgardian Resilience:** You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage. **Asgardian Aura:** You have a natural aura of power that grants you Expertise on Charisma (Intimidation) checks. ### Asgardian Spider Features These are features for the Asgardian Spider Race. #### Level 2 Feature: Web Shooters **Effect:** The user can create and manipulate webs using their superhuman agility and dexterity. They can use these webs for a variety of purposes, including: Striking: The user can use their webs to ensnare and restrain their opponents. When the user hits a creature with a melee attack, they can use a bonus action to restrain the creature until the start of their next turn. The creature can break free of the webs by using an action to make a Strength check against the user's Strength modifier. Web Swinging: The user can use their webs to swing from building to building or other structures. When the user makes a long jump, they can use a bonus action to shoot a web at a point up to 30 feet away (On top of the current 40). If the web hits a solid surface, the user can swing to that point as part of their jump. Only for outside of combat. Web Traps: The user can create web traps to ensnare their opponents. They can use an action to create a web trap in an unoccupied space within 30 feet of them. When a creature enters the space or moves through it, they must make a Dexterity saving throw against the user's Dexterity modifier. On a failed save, the creature is restrained until the start of their next turn. The creature can break free of the webs by using an action to make a Strength check against the user's Strength modifier.

#### Level 3 Asgardian Feature: Awakening of Asgard As you reach the cusp of adulthood and delve deeper into your Asgardian heritage, your powers begin to truly manifest. Choose one of the following options to represent the unique path your awakening takes: ``` ``` ##### Option 1: Path of the Valkyrie (Physical) Valkyrie's Resolve: Gain proficiency in the Persuasion skill. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened. Valkyrie's Might: As an action, you can tap into your inner warrior's strength. For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits: You have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can choose to deal an extra 1d6 force damage. Valkyrie's Techniques: You gain access to two new Asgardian Techniques: Valkyrie's Leap: As a bonus action, you can jump a distance equal to your Strength score multiplied by 5 feet. Valkyrie's Fury: When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can immediately make a second melee weapon attack against the same creature as a bonus action. ``` ``` ##### Option 2: Path of the Runemaster (Magic) Runic Literacy: You learn the Druidic language and gain the ability to cast the following spells without requiring material components: Cantrips: Detect Magic, Guidance 1st Level: Cure Wounds, Speak with Animals Rune Mastery: You can inscribe runes on weapons or armor to grant them temporary magical properties. Each day, you can prepare a number of runes equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1). To prepare a rune, you must spend 1 minute and expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher. The rune's effect lasts for 24 hours or until it is triggered. Choose one of the following runes to prepare: Rune of Swiftness: The weapon or armor grants a +10 bonus to your movement speed. Rune of Protection: The weapon or armor grants resistance to one damage type of your choice. Rune of Power: The weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls. Runic Techniques: You gain access to two new Asgardian Techniques: Rune of Warding: As a reaction when you or a creature within 30 feet of you takes damage, you can expend a prepared rune to grant temporary hit points equal to half the damage taken (rounded down). Rune of Binding: As an action, you can choose a creature within 30 feet of you. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the creature is restrained for 1 minute. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

\page #### Resourceful Adaptability (Level 7): You have ascended to a new level of Asgardian power, unlocking your true potential. You gain the following benefits: Enhanced Physique: Your body has become even more resilient and strong. Increase your Constitution maximum to 22. OR Your mind has become more slippery than a snake. Your charisma maximum becomes 22. Asgardian Expertise: You have honed your skills to a master level. Choose two skills from the following list and gain expertise in them: Acrobatics, Athletics, Deception, History, Insight, Investigation, Medicine, Perception, Persuasion, Religion, Stealth, Survival. Mastery of Arms: You have become a master of all weapons. Gain proficiency in all armor and weapons, including siege weapons and improvised weapons. Odins Blessing: You can call upon the blessings of Odin to grant you temporary divine power. Once per long rest, you can choose one of the following effects: Asgardian Fury: As an action, enter a rage for 1 minute. During this rage, you have advantage on Strength checks and saving throws, and your weapon attacks deal an extra 1d6 thunder damage on a hit. Asgardian Healing: As an action, heal yourself or another creature you touch for 8d8 + your Constitution modifier hit points. Asgardian Speed: As an action, your speed increases by 30 feet until the end of your turn.

#### Level 11 Feature: Webbing Specialization Your mastery of webbing has reached an extraordinary level, allowing you to specialize in various aspects of webbing, granting you enhanced abilities and versatility. Choose one of the following specializations to enhance your webbing: **Adhesive Enhancement:** Your webs gain increased adhesive properties, making them more difficult to remove and granting them enhanced holding power. This specialization provides the following benefits: Increased Adhesive Strength: Your webs now adhere to surfaces with twice the strength of standard webbing, making it more difficult for opponents to break free or dislodge them. Enhanced Grappling Lines: Your webs can now be effectively used as grappling lines, allowing you to ascend walls, swing through the air, and pull objects with greater ease and control. **Envenomated Webbing:** Your webs become infused with a mild venom, delivering a debilitating toxin to creatures that come into contact with them. This specialization provides the following benefits: Venomous Touch: When a creature comes into direct contact with your webs, it takes 1d6 poison damage and is poisoned until the end of your next turn. Incapacitating Snares: You can create intricate webbing snares that not only restrain your opponents but also deliver a continuous dose of venom, dealing 1d4 poison damage at the start of each of their turns. **Webbing Conductivity:** Your webs become conductive, allowing them to transmit electricity and potentially disrupt electrical devices or circuits. This specialization provides the following benefits: Electrical Conduction: Your webs can now conduct up to 1,000 volts of electricity without damaging their integrity, allowing you to transfer electrical energy and potentially disrupt electrical devices. Electric Snares: You can create electrified websnares that discharge a mild electrical shock when a creature comes into contact with them, dealing 1d6 lightning damage. ``` ```

\page ## Feats ##### Silky Sorcery ___ **Prerequisites:** Intelligence or Wisdom that is 16 + **Bonus Action Casting:** You can cast a spell using your bonus action as long as the spell has a casting time of 1 action. This will cost an extra 1 Super energy for every rank of technique it is. Arcane Expertise: Choose one spell from your spell list. ___ You gain a step up in the damage dice and a bonus +1 to the DC and Bonus to the roll becoming +2 at Intermediate and above ranked techniques. ##### Web of Yggdrasil (Asgardian): Benefits: You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill. You can imbue your webs with Asgardian magic, granting them additional properties. Your webs now deal 1d4 force damage to creatures they ensnare. Additionally, you can choose one of the following effects when you create a web trap or restrain a creature: Paralysis: The creature must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, they are paralyzed for 1 minute. On a successful save, they are only restrained. Illusion: The creature is subject to a visual illusion of your choosing, as per the spell "Phantasmal Force". The creature can attempt to disbelieve the illusion by making an Intelligence saving throw against your spell save DC. Banishment: The creature must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, they are banished to the Astral Plane for 1 minute. On a successful save, they are not affected

##### Web of Destiny: **Level 3 Prerequisite** Your connection to the Asgardian magical realm allows you to manipulate fate through your webs. You gain the following benefits: Enhanced Web Sense: Your spider-sense becomes more attuned to mystical threats. You gain advantage on Dexterity saving throws against magical attacks and spells. Web of Prophecy: As an action, you can expend 2 sorcery points to weave a web imbued with prophetic power. You choose a creature within 30 feet of you. That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature is affected by one of the following effects for the next minute: Foreseen Misfortune: The target has disadvantage on the next attack roll, saving throw, or ability check they make before the end of its next turn. Glimpse of Fortune: The target has advantage on the next attack roll, saving throw, or ability check they make before the end of its next turn. Web of Fate: The target becomes entangled in preordained webs. Their movement speed is reduced by 10 feet, and they cannot take reactions. Unveiled Destiny: You gain a brief vision of the target's immediate future. You learn the specific outcome of their next action, attack, spell, or ability check. ##### Asgardian Spider Synergy **Prerequisite: Asgardian or Spider-Human race, Level 7** Benefit: Choose one of the following options: **Option 1: Web of Asgardian Might:** Increased Hardness: Your webs gain a hardness of 5, making them more difficult to break. Enhanced Restraint: Creatures restrained by your webs have disadvantage on Strength checks to escape. Divine Conduit: Your webs become conduits for your divine energy. You can spend 3 SE points as an action while this ability is active to deal 2d6 force damage to any creature currently restrained by your webs. ``` ``` **Option 2: Spider-Sense Prowess:** Advantage on Initiative Rolls: You gain advantage on initiative rolls. Danger Perception: You gain a +2 bonus to your Dexterity saving throws against attacks. Spidey-Surge (2 SE Points): As a reaction when you are attacked, you can gain a burst of speed and agility, granting you a +4 bonus to your AC against that attack until the end of your turn. ``` ``` **Additionally, regardless of the option chosen, you gain the following benefit:** Speak with Spiders: You can communicate and understand the speech of spiders and other arachnids.
