\page ### Maneuvers #### Gaining Maneuvers To use a maneuver, you must have learned the maneuver or have access to it from a magic item, such as a magical sword. Your features specify what maneuvers you have access to and how you learn them. Your Martial Maneuvers feature specifies when you can change your learned maneuvers. For most classes you can change one learned maneuver when you gain a level in that class. #### Maneuver Tier Every maneuver has a tier from 1 to 4, which is indicated in a maneuver’s description. A maneuver’s tier is an indicator of how powerful it is. The rules for each martial class say when its members gain access to maneuvers of certain tiers. #### Maneuver Dice Using complex techniques is tiring, so a warrior can use only a limited number of maneuvers before resting. Maneuver dice are the way a warriors ability to use these complex maneuvers is represented. When you use a maneuver you must expend one maneuver die, even if the maneuver used does not involve rolling it. Finishing a Short or Long Rest restores any expended Maneuver Dice. Maneuver Dice grow in size as the warrior becomes more skilled at all of their maneuvers. No matter their source, all of your maneuver dice use the same die size (whichever is the largest you have access to). #### Activation Time A maneuver’s Activation Time entry specifies what type of action is required to use it. Some maneuvers require a Bonus Action to use, others are used as an Action, Reaction, or "On-Hit"; and have additional details outlined below. **Action.** When a maneuver has an activation time of an action, you take the Attack action and replace all of your attacks with the chosen maneuver. **On-Hit.** An activation time of On-Hit means that you choose to use the maneuver when you hit a creature with an attack roll, and before rolling damage. You can use only one maneuver per attack, and that attack cannot be made as part of a spell. **Reaction.** A maneuver that has an activation time of a Reaction is used in response to a trigger that is defined in the maneuver’s description. ##### Proficiencies You must have training with any armor you are wearing to use maneuvers while wearing it, and you can only use maneuvers with an Activation Time of On-Hit if you are proficient with the weapon used for the attack. \column ### Multiclassing Your capacity for maneuvers depends partly on your combined levels in all your martial classes and partly on your individual levels in those classes. Once you have the Martial Maneuvers feature from more than one class, use the rules below. If you multiclass but have the Martial Maneuvers feature from only one class, follow the rules for that class. ***Maneuvers Known.*** You determine what maneuvers you know for each class individually, as if you were a single-classed member of that class. Several class or subclass abilities needed adjustment to work within the new system, and these are detailed here as well. The intent is these features to all be used together; replacing Weapon Master, Cunning Strikes, and Brutal Strikes and unifying those systems into one scalable and easy to use counterpart to spells. }} ## Barbarian ### Level 1: Martial Maneuvers *Replaces the Weapon Mastery feature*
You learn maneuvers that are fueled by special dice called Maneuver Dice. ***Maneuvers.*** You learn two Tier 1 Martial Maneuvers of your choice. Whenever you gain a Barbarian level, you can replace one of your known maneuvers with another one for which you qualify. ***Learning Maneuvers.*** You learn an additional maneuver of your choice when you reach Barbarian levels 5, 11, and 17. Once you reach certain levels in this class, you can learn higher Tier maneuvers: level 5 (Tier 2), level 11 (Tier 3) and level 17 (Tier 4). ***Maneuver Dice.*** You have two Maneuver Dice, which are d6s. You gain an additional Maneuver Die, and your dice change size when you reach certain levels in this class: level 5 (three d8s), level 11 (four d10s), and level 17 (five d12s). You regain all expended Maneuver Dice when you finish a Short or Long Rest. ***Saving Throws.*** If a maneuver requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 plus your Strength modifier and Proficiency Bonus. #### Level 9: Brutal Maneuvers *Replaces the Brutal Strikes feature*
If you use Reckless Attack, you can forgo any Advantage on one Strength-based attack roll of your choice on your turn. The chosen attack roll mustn’t have Disadvantage. If you do so, you can use one Tier 1 maneuver you know with an Activation Time of **On-Hit** without expending a maneuver die. #### Level 13: Improved Brutal Maneuvers *Replaces the Improved Brutal Strikes feature*
When you use your Brutal Maneuvers feature, you can use a Tier 1 or 2 maneuver you know. All other restrictions still apply. #### Level 17: Violent Maneuvers *Replaces the Improved Brutal Strikes feature*
When a creature fails a saving throw against one of your maneuvers, they take Force damage equal to your Strength modifier. \column ## Fighter ### Level 1: Martial Maneuvers *Replaces the Weapon Mastery feature*

You regain all expended Maneuver Dice when you finish a Short or Long Rest. ***Saving Throws.*** If a maneuver requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 plus your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice) and Proficiency Bonus. #### Level 6: Ranger's Focus *Optional class feature*
When you cast Hunter's Mark, you can modify it so that it doesn’t require Concentration. If you do so, the spell’s duration becomes 1 minute for that casting. #### Level 20: Perfect Preparation *Replaces the Foe Slayer feature*
You can cast any level 1 or level 2 Ranger spell without expending a spell slot if that spell has the Ritual tag, and you do not need to have the spell prepared. ### Hunter #### Level 11: Hunter’s Maneuvers *Replaces the Superior Hunter's Prey feature*
You gain an additional benefit based on your chosen option for your Hunter's Prey feature. ***Colossus Slayer.*** You learn the Sundering Blow maneuver. ***Horde Breaker.*** You learn the Whirlwind Attack maneuver. Whenever you gain a Rogue level, you can replace one of your known maneuvers with another one for which you qualify. ***Learning Maneuvers.*** You learn an additional maneuver of your choice when you reach Rogue levels 5, 11, and 17. Once you reach certain levels in this class, you can learn higher Tier maneuvers: level 5 (Tier 2), level 11 (Tier 3) and level 17 (Tier 4). ***Maneuver Dice.*** You have two Maneuver Dice, which are d6s. You regain all expended Maneuver Dice when you finish a Short or Long Rest. ***Saving Throws.*** If a maneuver requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 plus your Dexterity modifier and Proficiency Bonus. #### Level 5: Cunning Maneuvers *Replaces the Cunning Strike feature*
When you deal Sneak Attack damage, you can use one maneuever with an Activation Time of **On-Hit** without expending a maneuver die by removing a number of sneak attack dice equal to the maneuver's Tier. You remove the dice before rolling. #### Level 11: Improved Cunning Maneuvers *Replaces the Improved Cunning Strikes feature*
You can use two maneuvers with an Activation Time of **On-Hit** on the same attack. In addition, you can use your Cunning Maneuvers feature for up to two maneuvers on the same attack when you deal Sneak Attack damage, paying the die cost for each effect. #### Level 14: Quiet Observer *Replaces the Devious Strikes feature*
If you target a creature that is not aware of your presence with the Search or Study action, you have Advantage on the ability check. In addition, you can take these actions as a Bonus Action. \column

### Arcane Trickster #### Level 13: Versatile Trickster You learn the Trip Attack maneuver. When you use the this manuever, you can also force another creature within 5 feet of your Mage Hand to make the same saving throw. ### Assassin #### Level 13: Envenom Weapons You learn the Poisoning Strike maneuver. When you use this maneuver, the target also takes 2d6 Poison damage whenever it fails the saving throw. This damage ignores Resistance to Poison damage. ### Theif #### Level 9: Supreme Sneak You learn the Stealth Attack maneuver. **Prerequisite:** *Proficiency in Stealth*
When you make a Dexterity (Stealth) check or an Initiative roll, you can add your Maneuver die to the roll. ##### Commanding Presence **Activation Time:** Reaction
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian, Fighter or Paladin*
When you make a Charisma (Intimidation, Performance, or Persuasion) check, you can add your Maneuver die to the roll. ##### Disarming Attack **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *None*
Add your Maneuver die to the attack’s damage roll. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or drop one object of your choice that it’s holding, with the object landing in its space. ##### Distracting Strike **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *None*
Add your Maneuver die to the attack’s damage roll. The next attack roll against the target by an attacker other than you has Advantage if the attack is made before the start of your next turn. ##### Evasive Footwork **Activation Time:** Bonus Action
**Prerequisite:** *Proficiency in Acrobatics*
You can take the Disengage action as part of this Bonus Action. In addition, roll your Maneuver die and add the number rolled to your AC until the start of your next turn. ##### Feinting Attack **Activation Time:** Bonus Action
**Prerequisite:** *Fighter, Ranger, or Rogue*
Choose one creature within 5 feet of yourself as your target. You have Advantage on your next attack roll against that target this turn. If that attack hits, add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. \column

##### Goading Attack **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *None*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or have Disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than you until the end of your next turn. ##### Lunging Attack **Activation Time:** Bonus Action
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian, Fighter, or Rogue*
You can take the Dash action as part of this Bonus Action. If you move at least 5 feet in a straight line immediately before hitting with a melee attack as part of the Attack action on this turn, you can add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. ##### Maneuvering Attack **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Fighter or Ranger*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll, and choose a willing creature who can see or hear you. That creature can use its Reaction to move up to half its Speed without provoking an Opportunity Attack from the target of your attack. ##### Parry **Activation Time:** Reaction
**Prerequisite:** *None*
When another creature damages you with a melee attack roll, you can take a Reaction to reduce the damage by the number you roll on your Maneuver die plus your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice). ##### Poisoning Strike **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Rogue*
You add a toxin to your strike, forcing the target to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target has the Poisoned condition for 1 minute. At the end of each of its turns, the Poisoned target repeats the save, ending the effect on itself on a success. To use this maneuver, you must have a Poisoner’s Kit on your person. \page
##### Pushing Attack **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian, Fighter, or Paladin*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. If the target is Large or smaller, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 15 feet directly away from you. ##### Rally **Activation Time:** Bonus Action
**Prerequisite:** *Fighter*
Choose an ally of yours within 30 feet of yourself who can see or hear you, and roll your Maneuver die. That creature can expend a Hit Die to regain hit points equal to its Hit Die roll + its Constitution modifier + the number rolled. ##### Sweeping Attack **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *None*
Choose another creature within 5 feet of the original target and within your weapons reach or range. If the original attack roll would hit the second creature, it takes damage equal to the number you roll on your Maneuver Die. The damage is of the same type dealt by the original attack. ##### Tactical Assessment **Activation Time:** Reaction
**Prerequisite:** *None*
When you make an Intelligence (History or Investigation) check or a Wisdom (Insight) check, you can add your Maneuver die to the roll. ##### Trip Attack **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *None*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. If the target is Large or smaller, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or have the Prone condition. \column ### Tier 2 ##### Bait and Switch **Activation Time:** Special
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian, Fighter, or Paladin*
You can spend 10 feet of movement to switch places with a creature within 5 feet, provided the creature is willing and neither you or that creature have a Speed of 0. This movement doesn’t provoke Opportunity Attacks. Roll your Manuever Die. Until the start of your next turn, you or the other creature (your choice) gains a bonus to AC equal to the number rolled. ##### Commander’s Strike **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Fighter or Paladin*
Choose a willing creature who can see or hear you. That creature can immediately use its Reaction to make one attack with a weapon or an Unarmed Strike. ##### Dazing Strike **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian, Fighter, or Rogue*
The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or on its next turn, it can do only one of the following: move, take an action, or take a Bonus Action. ##### Hamstring Blow **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian, Fighter, or Ranger*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. The target’s Speed is reduced by 15 feet until the start of your next turn. A target can be affected by only one Hamstring Blow at a time. ##### Heroic Aid **Activation Time:** Reaction
**Prerequisite:** *None*
When an allied creature within 30 feet of you is dealt damage while Bloodied, you can use your Reaction to move up to your speed, so long as you end your movement within 5 feet of that ally, and they gain temporary hit points equal to two rolls of your Maneuver Die. ##### Menacing Attack **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Proficiency in Intimidation*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or have the Frightened condition until the end of your next turn. \page
##### Precision Attack **Activation Time:** Special
**Prerequisite:** *Fighter, Ranger, or Rogue*
When you miss with an attack roll, you can add your Maneuver die to the attack roll, potentially causing the attack to hit. ##### Riposte **Activation Time:** Reaction
**Prerequisite:** *Fighter*
When a creature misses you with a melee attack roll, you can take a Reaction to make a melee attack roll with a weapon against the creature. If you hit, add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. ##### Stealth Attack **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Rogue*
If you have the Hide action’s Invisible condition, this attack doesn’t end that condition on you if you end the turn behind Three-Quarters Cover or Total Cover. ##### Obscuring Strike **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Proficiency in Sleight of Hand*
The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw, or it has the Blinded condition until the end of its next turn. ##### Volley **Activation Time:** Action
**Prerequisite:** *Ranger*
You must be wielding a ranged weapon to use this maneuver. Choose a point you can see within your weapon's range. Any number of creatures within 15 feet of that point must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take Piercing damage equal to one roll of your Maneuver die + your Dexterity modifier. ##### Withdrawing Strike **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Fighter, Ranger, or Rogue*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. Then you can move up to half your Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks. \column ### Tier 3 ##### Athleticism **Activation Time:** Bonus Action
**Prerequisite:** *Proficiency in Athletics*
You gain temporary hit points equal to two rolls of your Maneuver die. While you have temporary hit points, your Jump distance is doubled, you can lift twice your normal carrying capacity, and your Speed is not reduced while moving another creature. ##### Forceful Charge **Activation Time:** Bonus Action
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian, Fighter, or Paladin*
You move up to 20 feet in a straight line, can move through enemies spaces, and do not provoke attacks of opportunity. Each Large or smaller creature in your path must succeed on a Strength saving throw or suffer Bludgeoning damage equal to one roll of your Maneuver die and become Prone. ##### Herculean Throw **Activation Time:** Action
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian or Fighter*
Make a ranged attack with an improvised weapon or weapon with with the thrown property. You can add your Maneuver die to the attack roll, and your thrown range is doubled for this attack. On a hit, add two rolls of your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. You can instead attempt to throw a creature that is Grappled by you and is at least one size smaller than you. That creature is considered an improvised weapon for this attack, and both they and the target of the attack are dealt damage on a hit. ##### Knock Out **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Rogue*
The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or it has the Unconscious condition for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. The Unconscious target repeats the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. ##### Reform **Activation Time:** Bonus Action
**Prerequisite:** *Paladin*
Up to three creatures of your choice within 30 feet, that can hear you, can use their Reaction to move up to their full speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks. Creatures that end this movement within 5 feet of you gain temporary hit points equal to one roll of your Maneuver die + your Charisma modifier. \page
##### Staggering Blow **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *None*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. In addition, the target has Disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes, and it can’t make Opportunity Attacks until the start of your next turn. ##### Sundering Blow **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian or Fighter*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. In addition, the next attack roll made by another creature against the target gains a +5 bonus to the roll. An attack roll can gain only one Sundering Blow bonus. ##### Taunt **Activation Time:** Bonus Action
**Prerequisite:** *None*
Creatures of your choice within a 30 foot Emanation originating from you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, they have Disadvantage on all attack rolls against targets other than you until the start of your next turn. ##### Whirlwind Attack **Activation Time:** Action
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian, Fighter, or Ranger*
You must be wielding a melee weapon to use this maneuver. Any number of creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take damage equal to two rolls of your Maneuver die + either your Strength or Dexterity modifier. This damage is the same type as your weapon. ##### War Cry **Activation Time:** Bonus Action
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian or Fighter*
Creatures of your choice within a 30 foot Cone that can hear you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creatures drop whatever they are holding and gain the Frightened condition until the start of your next turn. \column ### Tier 4 ##### Earthshaker **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Barbarian*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. In addition, creatures of your choice within a 30 foot Emanation originating from you must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, they fall Prone. ##### Magebreaker **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *None*
Add your Maneuver Die to the attack’s damage roll. In addition, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or it cannot cast spells until the start of your next turn. ##### Unyielding **Activation Time:** Reaction
**Prerequisite:** *None*
As a Reaction to taking damage, you can reduce the damage taken by one roll of your Maneuver die. Until the start of your next turn, you reduce any damage taken by the amount rolled. In addition, if damage would drop you to 0 Hit Points during this time, you can make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of half the damage taken. On a success, you instead drop to 1 Hit Point. ##### Vanishing Strike **Activation Time:** On-Hit
**Prerequisite:** *Rogue*
If you were hidden when you made this attack, you deal additional damage equal to two rolls of your Maneuver die. In might and in spirit, juggernauts are immovable object and unstoppable force all at once. #### Level 3: Thunderous Blows When you hit with a melee weapon while you’re raging, you gain one of the following benefits based on the target of the attack: - If you hit a creature that is Large or smaller, you may push them up to 10 feet directly away from you. - If you hit a creature that is Huge or larger, your weapon deals an additional 1d4 damage. - If you hit an object, you deal double damage. #### Level 3: Spirit of the Mountain While you are raging, you are immune to the Prone and Grappled conditions. \column
#### Level 6: Forceful Maneuvers When you use an maneuver that causes a Strength saving throw while raging, Large or smaller creatures have Disadvantage on that saving throw. In addition, you can effect Huge creatures with maneuvers that normally require the target to be Large or smaller. #### Level 10: Hurricane Strike When you push a creature at least 5 feet, you can use a Reaction to leap into an unoccupied space next to the creature. If you do so, the creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw with a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier or be knocked Prone. This leap costs no movement and does not provoke opportunity attacks. Additionally, whenever you push a creature into a space within 5 feet of one of your allies, the ally can use a Reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature. #### Level 14: Unstoppable While you’re raging, your speed cannot be reduced, and you are immune to the Frightened, Paralyzed, and Stunned conditions. If you are Frightened, Paralyzed, or Stunned, you can still use a Bonus Action to enter a rage (even if you can’t otherwise take actions). You aren’t affected by any of these conditions while you’re raging.

\page ## College of Swords ##### 2024 Updated Bard Subclass Bards of the College of Swords entertain through daring feats of weapon prowess. These "blades" perform stunts such as sword swallowing, knife throwing and juggling, and mock combats. Though they use their weapons to entertain, they are also highly trained and skilled warriors in their own right. Their talent with weapons inspires many blades to lead double lives. One blade might use a circus troupe as cover for nefarious deeds such as assassination, robbery, and blackmail. Other blades strike at the wicked, bringing justice to bear against the cruel and powerful. #### Level 3: Blade's Training At 3rd level, you learn to perform impressive displays of martial prowess and speed. You gain the following benefits:
**Bonus Proficiencies.** You gain proficiency with medium armor and martial weapons with the Finesse property.
**Blade Casting.** You can use a Simple or Martial weapon as a Spellcasting Focus to cast spells from your Bard spell list.
**Nimble Combatant.** Whenever you take the Attack action on your turn, your walking speed increases by 10 feet until the end of the turn. #### Level 3: Flourishes You gain the following benefits: ***Maneuvers.*** You learn two Tier 1 Martial Maneuvers available to Fighters that have an Activation time of **On-Hit**. You learn an additional maneuver that meets these requirements when you reach Bard levels 6 and 14. Whenever you gain a Bard level, you can replace one of your known maneuvers with another one for which you qualify. ***Bardic Maneuvers***. When you use a maneuver, you expend one Bardic Inspiration instead of a maneuver die. If the maneuver calls for a roll of a maneuver die, roll your Bardic Inspiration die instead. If the maneuver has a saving throw, the DC is equal to your Bard spell save DC. #### Level 6: Extra Attack You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. #### Level 14: Master’s Flourish Whenever you use a maneuver learned through your Flourishes feature, you can roll a d6 and use it instead of expending a Bardic Inspiration die. \column ## Battlemaster (Revised) ##### Fighter Subclass Battle Masters are students of the art of battle, learning martial techniques passed down through generations. The most accomplished Battle Masters are well-rounded figures who combine their carefully honed combat skills with academic study in the fields of history, theory, and the arts. #### Level 3: Maneuver Master Your experience on the battlefield has refined your fighting techniques. You gain the following benefits:
**Additional Dice.** You gain two additional Maneuver dice.
**Maneuver Knowledge.** You learn two additional Tier 1 Maneuvers. Whenever you gain a Fighter level, you can replace one of your known maneuvers with another one for which you qualify.
**Practiced Maneuvers.** When you roll a Maneuver Die, you can roll it twice and use the higher result. #### Level 3: Student of War You gain proficiency with one type of Artisan’s Tools of your choice, and you gain proficiency in one skill of your choice from the skills available to Fighters at level 1. #### Level 7: Know Your Enemy As a Bonus Action, you can discern certain strengths and weaknesses of a creature you can see within 30 feet of yourself; you know whether that creature has any Immunities, Resistances, or Vulnerabilities, and if the creature has any, you know what they are. Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest. You can also restore a use of the feature by expending one Maneuver Die (no action required). #### Level 10: Improved Maneuver Knowledge You learn one additional maneuver of a Tier you qualify for, ignoring that maneuver's prerequisites. Whenever you gain a Fighter level, you can replace this maneuver with another of your choice. #### Level 15: Relentless Once per turn, when you use a maneuver with an activation time of **On-Hit**, you can roll 1d6 and use the number rolled instead of expending a Maneuver Die. #### Level 18: Improved Maneuver Knowledge You learn one additional maneuver of a Tier you qualify for, ignoring that maneuver's prerequisites. Whenever you gain a Fighter level, you can replace this maneuver with another of your choice.

\page ## Warlord ##### 2024 Fighter Subclass Warlords are master tacticians and inspiring battlefield leaders who shape the flow of combat through sheer presence and precision. Trained in the arts of war and leading from the front, warlords command respect. Whether shouting orders over the din of battle or positioning troops with flawless timing, they turn coordination into a weapon as deadly as any sword. A warlord’s strength lies not only in their own prowess, but in making everyone around them better. They read the battlefield like a map, identify opportunities, and act without hesitation. Their commands can spur allies to renewed action, patch wounds through grit and morale, or turn a flanking maneuver into a decisive strike. When a warlord leads, the party fights as one. #### Level 3: Learned Leader You gain the following benefits: **Bonus Proficiency.** You gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Deception, History, Insight, Intimidation, or Persuasion. **Leadership Modifier.** Abilities that refer to your Leadership modifier use either your Charisma or Intellgience modifier (you choose when you gain this feature). **Invigorating Maneuvers.** When you use a maneuver that effects an allied creature, you also grant that creature temporary hit points equal to your Leadership modifier. #### Level 3: Battlefield Commands When you take the Attack action, you can issue one of the following commands in place of one of your attacks. Commands can only target another allied creature within 30 feet of you that can hear you. - ***Brace!*** The target gains a +2 bonus to its AC until the start of your next turn, and gains temporary hit points equal to your Leadership modifier. - ***Forward!*** Whenever the target makes an attack roll or a saving throw before the start of your next turn, they add 1d4 to the attack roll or saving throw. - ***Move!*** The target can move up to half its Speed without provoking opportunity attacks. #### Level 7: Ralling Cry As a Bonus Action, you can expend a use of Second Wind to heal up to two creatures, other than yourself, within 30 feet of you. They regain Hit Points equal to 1d10 plus half your Fighter level (round down). \column

#### Level 10: Lead to Victory When you use a battlefield command, you can choose to target a number of different creatures up to your Leadership modifier with that command. Once you use this ability, you cannot do so again until you finish a Long Rest unless you expend a Maneuver Die (no action required) to restore your use of it. #### Level 15: Front Line Tactician You learn the Reform maneuver. You can use this maneuver without expending a Maneuver Die, and cannot do so again until you finish a Short or Long Rest. #### Level 18: Inspiring Leader The range of your Battlefield Commands increases to 60 feet. \page ## Warrior of the Blade ##### 2024 Updated Monk Subclass Warriors of the Blade, also known as Kensei, train relentlessly with their weapons, to the point where the weapon becomes an extension of the body. Founded on a mastery of sword fighting, the tradition has expanded to include many different weapons. A kensei sees a weapon in much the same way a painter regards a brush. Whatever the weapon, the kensei views it as a tool used to express the beauty and precision of the martial arts. #### Level 3: Martial Maneuvers You learn maneuvers that are fueled by special dice called Maneuver Dice. ***Maneuvers.*** You learn two Tier 1 Martial Maneuvers of your choice. Whenever you gain a Monk level, you can replace one of your known maneuvers with another one for which you qualify. ***Learning Maneuvers.*** You learn an additional maneuver of your choice when you reach Monk level 13. Once you reach level 13 in this class, you can learn Tier 2 maneuvers. ***Maneuver Dice.*** You have two Maneuver Dice, which are d6s. You gain an additional Maneuver Die and your dice change size to a d8 when you reach level 13 in this class. You regain all expended Maneuver Dice when you finish a Short or Long Rest. ***Saving Throws.*** If a maneuver requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 plus your Dexterity modifier and Proficiency Bonus. \column
#### Level 3: Way of the Kensei You gain proficiency with your choice of calligrapher’s supplies or painter’s supplies. In addition, you gain proficiency with martial weapons that lack the Heavy property, and they are considered Monk weapons for you. #### Level 6: One with the Blade You can spend 2 Focus Points to regain one expended Maneuver Die (no action required). You can use this feature only once on each of your turns. #### Level 11: Sharpen the Blade As a Bonus Action, you can expend up to 3 Focus Points to grant one weapon you touch a bonus to attack and damage rolls when you attack with it. The bonus equals the number of Focus Points you spent. This bonus lasts for 1 minute or until you use this feature again. This feature has no effect on a magic weapon that already has a bonus to attack and damage rolls. #### Level 17: Unerring Accuracy If you miss with an attack roll using a weapon on your turn, you can reroll it. You excel in single combat, and your methods make a duel look like a flamboyant performance. #### Level 3: Fancy Footwork If you make a melee attack against a creature during your turn, that creature can’t make Opportunity Attacks against you for the rest of that turn. #### Level 3: Rakish Audacity When you roll Initiative, you can give yourself a bonus to the roll equal to your Charisma modifier. You also gain an additional way to use your Sneak Attack; you don’t need Advantage on the attack roll to use your Sneak Attack against a creature if you are within 5 feet of it, no other creatures are within 5 feet of you, and you don’t have Disadvantage on the attack roll. All the other rules for Sneak Attack still apply to you. #### Level 9: Panache You learn the Goading Attack maneuver. When you use this maneuver on your turn, you can cast Vicious Mockery as a Bonus Action. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell. \column

#### Level 13: Never Surrounded You learn the Whirlwind Attack maneuver. You gain the following benefits: ***Ability Score Increase.*** Increase your Strength or Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20. ***Brutal Blows.*** While wielding a Battleaxe, Greataxe, Maul, or a weapon with no properties, your attack rolls score a Critical Hit on a roll of 18 or higher. ***Intimidating.*** You have Advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks involving threats. ***Terrify.*** When you score a critical hit with a weapon attack, you can terrify another foe. One creature within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + PB) or have the Frightened condition until the start of your next turn. #### Dagger Master *General Feat (Prerequisite: Level 4+, Dexterity 13+)*
You gain the following benefits: ***Ability Score Increase.*** Increase your Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20. ***Deep Cuts.*** Your melee weapon attacks with daggers deal an additional 1d4 damage. ***Hamstring.*** Once per turn when you hit a creature with an attack using a dagger, you can reduce the Speed of that creature by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. #### Light Weapon Master *General Feat (Prerequisite: Level 4+, Strength or Dexterity 13+)*
You gain the following benefits: ***Ability Score Increase.*** Increase your Strength or Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20. ***Nick.*** When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You gain the following benefits: ***Ability Score Increase.*** Increase your Strength or Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20. **Fast Shielding.** You can Don or Doff a Shield as though you were equipping a weapon, rather than taking the Utilize action. ***Sap.*** If you hit a creature with a weapon with the Versitile property while weilding it with both hands, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn. #### Wild Swings *General Feat (Prerequisite: Level 4+, Strength 13+)*
You gain the following benefits: ***Ability Score Increase.*** Increase your Strength score by 1, to a maximum of 20. ***Cleave.*** Once per turn when you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using Glaive, Greataxe, or Greatsword, you can deal Slashing damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus to a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. This damage cannot be increased. ***Graze.*** If your attack roll with a Glaive, Greataxe, or Greatsword misses a creature, you can deal Slashing damage to that creature equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
