## Class Features As a Persona User, you gain the following class features #### Hit Points ___ - **Hit Dice:** 1d10 per Persona User level - **Hit Points at 1st Level:** 10 + your Constitution modifier - **Hit Points at Higher Levels:** 1d10 (or 6) + Constitution modifier per Persona User level after 1st #### Proficiencies ___ - **Armor:** All Armor and Shields - **Weapons:** Simple weapons, Martial weapons - **Tools:** None ___ - **Saving Throws:** Strength, Charisma - **Skills:** Choose three from Athletics, Arcana, Investigation, Insight, Perception, Survival, Intimidation, Persuasion *If you plan on rolling starting wealth it is 5d4x10* #### Equipment You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background: - *(a)* scale mail or *(b)* leather armor - *(a)* two martial melee weapons or *(b)* a martial weapons and a shield - *(a)* a dungeoneer's pack or *(b)* an explorer's pack \page ### Awakening At 1st level you have either faced your true self, been gifted power by a god, accepted death, or gained power through means of rebellion. You can use a bonus action to summon a manifestation of the soul, called forth from the Sea of Souls. The manifested spirit is a magical, translucent, and blueish image of a historical/mythical/fictional character called a Persona. It varies in size, either small or medium and hovers around you. The amount of times you can summon your Persona is equal to your Proficiency Bonus which you regain per long rest and half as much on a short rest rounded up. On your turn you can mentally command the Persona to move up to 30 feet in any direction. If the Persona is ever beyond 30 feet from you it dissipates. Its AC is 12 + your Proficiency bonus and it's health is equal to your Persona User level + Constitution Modier. If it has to make a saving throw, it uses your saving throw bonus for the roll. When making an attack with it, or casting a spell, it will use your action to do so. When a creature that you can see within 5 feet of your Persona moves at least 5 feet away from it, you can use your reaction to make an opportunity attack against that creature as if you were in Persona’s space. Your Persona is also able to interact with objects as if you were in it's space interacting with it. ##### I am thou, thou art i Any damage sustained through the Persona affects you as well but is immune to all conditions. If the Persona loses any hit points you lose half as much. When its hit points reach 0 it dissapears. *Your Persona also falls under one of the 22 arcana; Fool, Magician, Priestess, Empress, Emporer, Hierophant, Lovers, Chariot, Strength, Hermit, Fortune, Justice, Hanged Man, Death, Temperence, Devil, Tower, Star, Moon, Sun, Judgement, And the World.(This is for flavor only but you can discuss with your DM what you want to do with this even using other Arcana from the Tarot cards)*

Credit: 和音 Artist's Page:https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/5519 ### Weapon Bond When awakening to your Persona you choose a weapon to bond with, Bonding with said weapon grants your Persona the benefits of using said weapon as if you use it yourself. Once you have bonded a weapon to yourself, you can't be disarmed of that weapon unless you are incapacitated. If it is on the same plane of existence, you can summon that weapon as a bonus action on your turn, causing it to teleport instantly to your hand. You can have up to two bonded weapons, but can summon only one at a time with your bonus action. If you attempt to bond with a third weapon, you must break the bond with one of the other two. You may also bond with a shield. ### Spell Casting The Persona is the true self which grants it the ability to use the power from within and call forth magic. At the 2nd level your Persona has access to magic from the Persona Spell list. You have two cantrips of your choice and can learn an additional cantrip at 10th level. Your Persona counts as your spell casting focus and is necessary when performing leveled spells. You may cast cantrips by yourself but in order to use a leveled spell you must have your Persona out. Whenever you cast a leveled spell on your turn, you cast the spell as if you were in the Persona's space instead of your own. ### Spell Slots The Persona User table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your Persona spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest. When multiclassing you use the Ranger class when calculating spell slots. ##### Spell’s Known of 1st level or higher You know two 1st-level Persona spells of your choice. The Spells Known column of the Persona User Spellcasting table shows when you learn more spells of 1st level or higher. For instance, when you reach 5th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level. Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the Persona spells the Persona knows with another spell of your choice from the Persona spell list. The new spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots. ### Spellcasting Ability Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your spells, since you’ve gained a Persona, your true self, you use your charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a Persona spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one. **Spell save DC** = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your charisma modifier **Spell attack modifier** = your proficiency bonus + your charisma modifier ### Fighting Style At 2nd level, you adopt a particular style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can't take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again. Your Persona also gains the benifit from whichever Fighting Style you adopt. \page **Archery**: You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons. **Blind Fighting**: You have blind sight with a range of 10 feet. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn't behind total cover, even if you're blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the creature successfully hides from you. **Defense**: While you are wearing armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC. **Dueling**: When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon. **Interception**: When a creature you can see hits a target, other than you, within 5 feet of you with an attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage the target takes by 1d10 + your proficiency bonus (to a minimum of 0 damage). You must be wielding a shield or a simple or martial weapon to use this reaction. **Protection**: When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You must be wielding a shield. **Thrown Weapon Fighting**: You can draw a weapon that has the thrown property as part of the attack you make with the weapon. In addition, when you hit with a ranged attack using a thrown weapon, you gain a +2 bonus to the damage roll. **Two-Weapon Fighting**: When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack. **Unarmed Fighting**: Your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier on a hit. If you aren't wielding any weapons or a shield when you make the attack roll, the d6 becomes a d8. At the start of each of your turns, you can deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage to one creature grappled by you. ### Unbreaking Bonds Starting at 2nd level, you can make your Persona throw itself in front of an attack directed at another creature that you can see. Before the attack roll is made, you can use your reaction to move the Persona to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the targeted creature. The attack roll that triggered the reaction is instead made against your Persona. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest. You're Persona must be summoned in order to use this feature. ### Persona Archetype At 3rd level You pick one type from Physical, Caster, or Wild Card ### Ability Score Increase When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature. ### Extra Attack By 5th level, you have become adept at combat with your Persona and physical weapons alike. You can make two attacks, instead of one, when you take the Attack action. ### Persona Power At 10th level your Persona's attacking ability has increased. When rolling attack rolls or attack damage rolls you add your Charisma Modifier to the rolls ### Improved Bonds At 14th You can now use your **Unbreaking Bonds** feature twice before having to make a short or long rest. ### Persona Evolution *This isn't something that really comes with level. If at any point in the campaign if you and your DM have previously discussed that your character has evolved to the point of having a Persona Evolution than your Persona Evolves. This is purely flavor and really doesn't do much aside from some cool Character RP.* ``` ```

Add you Strength Modifier to your Persona's AC. ##### Strength of Mind Through your awakening your physicallity has gained in edge thanks to your Persona. You have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks ##### Stalwart Defense Loyalty is your name and defense if part of your game. If your Persona isn't summoned already for the **Unbreaking Bonds** reactions you can summon it as part of that reaction. ### Rakukaja/Tarukaja At 7th Level you have a the ability to augment the defense or Attack of a creature. When using this feature you use your bonus action to either increase attack or defense. When increasing attack of the creature add your Strength modifier to the damage roll. When increasing defense, add your Strength modifier to their AC. This effect last until the end of your next turn and you must have to ability to summon your Persona in order to use this feature. You can use this ability equal to your Proficiency Bonus per long rest. ### God's Hand At 11th level you have the ability to deal a severly damaging blow to your opponent. Make a melee attack on your enemy, on hit you deal 4d8 bludgeoning damage to your opponent. This takes one of your attacks and you can use this feature equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. You must have the ability to summon your Persona to use this feature. ### Apt Pupil At 15th level you have the ability to increase your chance at to severely damage your opponent. You can land a critical hit on an 18-20 ### Marakukaja/Matarukaja At 18th level you're ability to augment the defense or attack of a creature is extended to multiple creatures. When using your **Rakukaja/Tarukaja** feature you can now target as many creatures equal to your Charisma modifier ### Power Charge At 20th level you have the ability to augment the physical capabilities of a creature even further. As an action you grant the creature the ability to deal double damage on their next melee attack.

At 3rd Level when summoning your Persona you create a blast of force in a 5ft radius centered on your Persona. Creatures in this 5ft radius must make a Strength saving throw. They take force damage equal to 1d6+Strength Modifier and are thrown back 10ft on a failed save, and take half damage and are not thrown back on a success. You are immune to this. ##### Mind Over Matter You're ability to summon your Persona is improved. Add your Charisma Modifier to the amount of Persona summons you can do. You also gain advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) checks ### Relaxing Wave At 7th level you gain the ability to restore a spell slot up to 2nd level after an encounter ### Megidolaon At 11th level you have the ability to deal a severly damaging blow to your opponent. A creature in a 10ft radius that you can see must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 4d8 force damage on a failed save, half as much on a success. This takes your action and you can use this feature equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. You must have the ability to summon your Persona to use this feature. ### Damage Amp At 15th level, As an Bonus Action choose a willing creature and a damage type from acid, cold, force, lightning, radiant, poison, fire, necrotic, and thunder. The willing creature that uses the selected damage type adds an additional 2d8 of that damage type to their damage roll of their next landed attack. ### Vigor Song At 18th level your ability to restore a spell slot has improved. You can now restore two spell slots up to 5th level after an encounter ### Mind Charge At 20th level you have the ability to augment the magical capabilities of a creature even further. As an action you grant the creature the ability to guaruntee a hit on their next spell cast including automatic fails on saves. You can use this feature once per long rest and you must have the ability to summon your Persona to use this ability.

Your words are your weapon just as well as a Persona is. You have advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks ##### The Journey Your ability to summon your Persona is increased. Add your Persona Level to the amount of summons you can do. ### The Phantom Eye's Lens of Truth At 7th level the world arounds you shifts allow you to see what others miss. You gain expertise in Perception and Insight if your are proficient in either, and add your Charisma Modifier to any Perception and Insight rolls ### Myriad Truths At 11th level you have the ability to deal an almighty blow to your opponent. You select 3 points you can see, any creature you choose, in a 10ft radius sphere of the those points must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 2d8 radiant damage on a failed save, half as much on a success. This takes your action and you can use this feature equal to your Proficiency Bonus every long rest. You must have the ability to summon your Persona to use this feature. ### Victory Cry By the 15th level, you've learned to absorb the fleeting magic of your Persona. When a Persona of yours is destroyed by taking damage, you can gain a number of temporary hit points equal to 2d6 + your Constitution modifier, provided you don't already have temporary hit points. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. ### Heat Riser At 18th level you have the ability to exponentially augment the abilities of another creature. Using this feature you apply the following effect. Double their movement speed, +2 to AC, +2 to attack rolls, advantage on Dexterity Saving Throws and an extra action for 1 minute. You can not use this additional action to cast another spell. You can use this feature once per long rest ### The World At 20th level you have reached the end of your foolish journey and have gain the ability to withstand even the will of the world and societies weight upon you. As an action you grant yourself the following effects for 1 minute. You lose this ability when incapicated and can use this ability once per short rest. You must have the ability to summon your Persona to use this feature - You gain advantage on Perception and Insight Checks - You add +2 to AC, attack rolls, and damage rolls - You can not be Frightened - Your speed is doubled *The Wild Card has the inate ability to use multiple different Persona's of different Arcana. But seeing as that would be too difficult to translate into DND the best case scenerio is that each school of magic that is used in a spell, you describe a different Persona that would represent a different or same Arcana. TLDR: different school of magic = different Persona's of different or same Arcanas* ### The Velvet Room *Another flavor thing. You got Igor and an attendant you can do this if you want but I feel like this would give this specific player character main character syndrome. Obviously you can still use it as a way to guide your player or something.
