These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don't count against the number of artificer spells you prepare. | Artificer Level | Armforger Spells | |:----------------|:-----------------------------------| | 3rd | Shield, Armor of Agathys | | 5th | Flame Blade, Knock | | 9th | Lightning Bolt, Thunder Step | | 13th | Dimension Door, Wall of Fire | | 17th | Cone of Cold, Passwall | ### Arcane Prosthetic You have learned to craft an Arcane Prosthetic, which serves as a replacement for a lost hand or arm, functioning identically to the part it replaces. Unlike ordinary prosthetics, this creation is uniquely attuned to you, meaning only you can utilize its features, and it cannot be removed against your will. : In the event that it is lost, you have the capability to recreate it during a long rest. However, this recreation does not include the reintegration of any tools, weapons, infusions, or magical tinkering effects. #### Prosthetic Tinkering Your Arcane Prosthetic can hold any number of magical effects from your Magical Tinkering feature, and any number of Infusions, with each effect counting as applying it on a separate item. Integrated items lose both their infusions and magical tinkering effects, as they become part of the Arcane Prosthetic. Specific infusions for your Arcane Prosthetic are listed at the end of the subclass. #### Prosthetic Integration You can increase the capacity of your Arcane Prosthetic by integrating up to a number of tools and one-handed weapons equal to twice your proficency bonus. Each integration takes 1 hour of work. You can change the form of the prosthetic, from a hand, into that of any of its integrated parts, or back, no action required. While the prosthetic is in the form of an integrated part, that item counts as being held. : Furthermore, when you make an Attack using your Arcane Prosthetic, such as when you Attack with an integrated weapon, you can use your Intelligence modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity modifier, for the attack and damage rolls. ### Arcane Conduit Starting at 5th level, the maximum number of items you can infuse at once increases by 2, but those extra items must be on your Arcane Prosthetic. : Once per turn when you deal damage to a target using your Arcane Prosthetic, you can deal additional Force damage equal your number of active infusions. :: {{note ##### Prosthetic at a lower level If you are an Artificer on its way to select this subclass, you may discuss with your DM to start out with an Arcane Prosthetic immediatly. When doing so you start out with only being able to imbue the limb with Magical Tinkering effects, and a single tool, but no weapons or infusions. }} \page ### Grappling Extension At 9th level, you can integrate a Grappling Hook into your Arcane Prosthetic. While your prosthetic has the form of the grappling hook you can take a bonus action to activate it, shooting a creature or object of your choice within 30 feet that is of your size or larger and that you can see. : You then immediatly pull yourself towards the target using your own movement, without provoking opportunity attacks. At any point during this movement, you may choose to perform a long jump or a high jump. ### Overdrive At 15th level, when you deal damage to a single creature using your Arcane Prostethic, you can choose to deal 6d8 + 15 additional Force Damage. In the process of doing so your Arcane Prosthetic becomes damaged, requiring you to spend 20 minutes repairing it before using this feature again. ### Infusions You learn the following Infusions, and can apply them to your Arcane Prosthetic. You may also infuse the prostethic with either the Enhanced Weapon or the Repeating Shot infusion. They affect all eligble integrated weapons. #### Echo Locator ___ *Prerequisite: 3rd-level artificer* Your prosthetic emits sonar pulses, enhancing your awareness. You gain blindsight out to a range of 15 feet. #### Magnetic Pull ___ *Prerequisite: 3rd-level artificer* You can magnetize your prosthetic to attract or repel metal objects. As an action, pull or push a loose metal object weighing up to 5 pounds within 50 feet towards you or away from you up to an equal distance. When you attempt to strike a creature like this, make a ranged spell attack against them. On a hit you deal 2d8 bludgeoning damage to both the target, and the object. #### Extra Dimensional Compartment ___ *Prerequisite: 3rd-level artificer* Your arm gains the benefit of a Bag of Holding. You can stow and retrieve items from this space as an item interaction. #### Large Weapons ___ *Prerequisite: 5th-level artificer* You can integrate two-handed weapons lacking the heavy property. You count as proficient with any weapon that is integrated in your prosthetic, and you can ignore the two-handed property when you make attacks with an integrated weapon. \column #### Aquatic Adaptation ___ *Prerequisite: 5th-level artificer* You integrate a propelling engine into your prosthetic arm, giving you a swimming speed equal to your walking speed. #### Ether Anchor ___ *Prerequisite: 5th-level artificer* Project an anchor into the Ethereal Plane to stabilize yourself. You have advantage on saving throws against effects that would move you, knock you prone, or grapple you. : Furthermore, you can either as a reaction to falling, or as an action at any point, activate the anchor to magically fix your prosthetic in place. Until you take an action to release it the prosthetic is fixed in place. It can hold up to 4,000 pounds of weight, yourself included, and it defies gravity. More weight will cause the effect to deactivate, damaging the prosthetic in the process, requiring you to spend 30 minutes repairing it before activating this effect again. A creature can use an action to make a DC 30 Strength check, moving the fixed prosthetic up to 10 feet on a success. #### Prosthetic Phase Shift ___ *Prerequisite: 9th-level artificer* You can phase your prosthetic through solid objects up to 2 feet thick, and manipulate objects or perform actions as if the intervening material weren't there. #### Telescoping Weapons ___ *Prerequisite: 9th-level artificer* Integrated melee weapon gains an additional 5ft reach. #### Flamethrower ___ *Prerequisite: 9th-level artificer* As a bonus action, you may momentarily transform your prosthetic into a flamethrower. Each creature in a 20-feet cone originating from you must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC, taking 2d8 plus your Intelligence modifier in fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. : The fire ignites any flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficency Bonus per Long Rest. #### Shocking Strike ___ *Prerequisite: 15th-level artificer* When you hit a creature with an attack using your prosthetic, you can attempt to stun them. You deal an additional 2d8 lightning damage to the creature, and they must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or be stunned until the end of your next turn. You can use this feature twice per Long Rest.
