### Cleric: The Domain of the Godseeker Hailing from lands well beyond the edges of any maps, the original Godseeker was a being of collective intelligence, bearing the minds and wills of their entire people. With their Gods gone, either fallen or departed, they sought a new power to worship. While that original collective has moved on to parts unknown, they have inspired many others to find a divinity worthy of their faith. #### Distant Echos At 1st level, you gain proficiency in one skill of your choice and learn one cantrip of your choice from any spell list. This counts a Cleric cantrip for you but does not count against the number of cantrips you know. #### Godseeker Magic At 1st level, with no deity upon whom to call, Godseekers lack the innate magic granted to other clerics. However, they do have skill in tracking and witnessing the divine, whether it be Radiant, Abyssal, or otherwise. You learn the *Detect Evil and Good* and *Protection from Evil and Good* spells. These are treated as Cleric spells for you, but do not count against the number of spells known. You can cast either of these spells without consuming a spell slot a number of times, equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining all uses after completing a long rest. : Additionally, at 7th level you learn the *Banishment* spell and at 9th level, you learn *Dispel Evil and Good*. You can cast each one without consuming a spell slot once per short or long rest. These spells are treated as Cleric spells for you but do not count against your number of spells known. \page #### Channel Devotion *This ability replaces your Channel Divinity feature from the main Cleric Class* : With no divinity on which to call, you must wield your sheer force of will and devotion to your cause to call forth your faith and magic. At 2nd Level, you can use this ability to apply one of the following effects. As an action, you can use choose one of the following: - *Turn the Weak* – Each creature with an INT, WIS or CHA score of 7 or less within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. In addition it also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action. - *Call upon the Pantheon* – You call upon the remnants of fallen pantheons, summoning the servants and soldiers of forgotten gods and defeated foes. When you use this option of your *Channel Devotion* feature, as an Action, you can summon the Beast of the Gods (listed below) within 5 ft of you. You select Ground, Ocean, or Sky, and the beast takes the spectral form of a fallen creature bearing those traits. The creature stays summoned for 10 minutes or until its HP is reduced to 0 and follows your instructions. It cannot travel more than 300ft away from you and shares your initiative in combat. The creature’s damage is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming weaknesses and resistances. : Beginning at 6th level, you can use this feature twice between rests, and beginning at 18th level, you can use it three times between rests. When you finish a short or long rest, you regain your expended uses. : Finally, at 6th Level, you can instead choose to summon the Champion of the Gods, selecting Archer, Guardian or Hunter, taking the form of a fallen enemy bearing those traits. Regardless of the option chosen, the summoned creature stays summoned until the end of the summon duration, it is reduced to 0 HP, you use this option of the feature again or you die. \column #### Call from Afar At 6th Level, your ability to track and pursue the divine now extends to your summons. Whenever you use your *Channel Devotion* to summon the *Beast of the Gods*, the beast now lasts for an hour and can travel up to a mile away from you. In addition, as an action, you can see and hear what the beast sees and hears. While you are using this ability, you cannot move your body or use your senses until you end this ability as an action. : Finally, if you have cast *Detect Evil and Good*, this spell also applies to the Beast and the range of the spell now extends to 60ft instead of 30ft. #### Potent Spellcasting Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip. #### Weathered Mask At 17th Level, whenever you use your *Channel Devotion* to summon the *Champion of the Gods*, the beast now lasts for an hour. While summoned, as an action, you can have the Champion magically switch spaces with a willing creature within 120ft of you. When it does, the creature gains 3 D12 Temporary HP. This Temp HP is lost when you use this ability again.
