He hands it to his aging grandfather so they can make the final journey home. ___ To be a drafter is the ability to wield light as both a weapon and a tool. This ability is a true gift, something that you must be born with. A drafter may not know the full extent of their abilities, but every drafter holds the ability to create wondrous things, or to lay waste to all before them. Not many may claim to have the pure power of creation, the devastating power of a wildfire, or the absolute control of emotions, right at their fingertips. ### Chromaturgy A drafter is a wielder of a special type of magic called Chromaturgy, the ability to take light and make it into a physical substance called luxin. To do this a drafter looks through tinted glasses or through their eyes at the colors they can draft, and gather the light from those colors that they see. They then take this light and produce out of their body luxin. There is no single form of luxin that is created, luxin comes in many forms. Depending on the light the drafter used to create the luxin it can be different colors and have vastly different properties. ### All walks of life Almost anyone can be a drafter as long as they are born with the ability to draft. Great fighters may draft to enhance their combat capabilities, and great craftsmen may make special tools to help with their work. When creating your drafter consider where they came from, how they may have used their powers in the past, and how they discovered their gift. \page

#### Quick Build You can make a drafter quickly by following these suggestions. First, put your highest ability score in Wisdom, followed by Strength or Dexterity. ### Drafting The basis of drafting is light, and those that harness this magic are called drafters. Drafters are able to transform light into a physical substance called luxin. Each color has different properties, uses, and effects on those that are able to draft it. The uses of those building blocks are as boundless as a drafter’s imagination and skill. Most drafters find their talents lie with only one color and must be exposed to the light of that color in order to draft it. Many drafters carry spectacles in their chosen colors so that they can draft without being near a natural source of these colors. In order to draft a color, you must be able to see light of that color. Your ability to draft is represented by a number of drafting points. Your drafter level determines the number of points you have, as shown on the drafter table. You can spend these points to fuel your drafting. When you spend a drafting point, it is unavailable until you finish a long rest. Drafting does not require a free hand. When you draft luxin, it instead tears through the pores of your body. #### Drafting Ability Some drafting features require a target to make a spell saving throw or for you to make a spell attack. The saving throw and drafting attack modifier is calculated as follows: ###### **Spell save DC =** 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier ###### **Spell attack modifier =** your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier #### Light Sickness Constant drafting causes the drafter to become light sick, as if being hungover from too much drafting. If at the start of a rest you have no drafting points, your drafting points total reduces by half of your light drafter level for 12 hours. #### Burning Bright The life of a drafter is short since the ability to draft takes a toll on the body. Your personal life span can be calculated by adding your age at first drafting level to half of the remaining average life span. ### Chroma Points Chroma points are the resource for gaining new mastery over old colors, or acquiring new colors. The class table shows how many chroma points you have available total at each level. New colors cost one Chroma point to acquire and each upgrade also costs one point. You may also spend 5 points to acquire mastery in a specific color once all upgrades have been purchased. ### Basic Drafting #### Throw Luxin As an action (unless specified as a bonus action), once per turn you may do a Throw Luxin action with a color you can draft. The effects vary per color and color upgrades. Any attacks made with the Throw Luxin action uses Wisdom as the attack modifier. The number of damage dice increases by one at the 5th, 11th, and 17th levels. You can further increase the damage die by spending drafting points. Every point spent increases your damage die by one. Damage done by throw luxin counts as magic for the sake of overcoming resistance. #### Hold Luxin As a bonus action, you may take in the light around you and hold a color that you can draft. This gives you a bonus that requires concentration to maintain and lasts for one hour or until you dismiss this as a bonus action. While holding Luxin, you may let the luxin stored inside you to slowly turn back into light, casting bright light for 10 feet and dim light for 20 feet. Sub-red burns as a dull flame in your hand. ### Luxin Constructs Beginning at 2nd level, you can draft constructs out of Luxin for all manner of tasks. Constructs last 12 hours. Constructs drafted by a superchromat will last 1 year and constructs made of stable Yellow Luxin will last a number of years equal to the drafter's proficiency bonus. Sub-red must be coated in another color or it will quickly turn to flame and burn away when exposed to air. You may use an action to dismiss a construct you are touching. Your Luxin constructs become +1 items at the 5th level, +2 at the 11th, and +3 at the 17th. Refer to the Luxin table to see each color’s properties. The Superchromat ability is required to create solid Yellow Luxin. When creating a construct, spend 1 drafting point for each color used. You are proficient with melee weapons drafted and use Wisdom as your attack modifier. ### Drafter Discipline Starting at 2nd level, you may choose your drafting discipline. You may choose from Blackguard, Broken Eye, and Luxor. These disciplines provide you with features at the 2nd, 6th, 10th, 14th, and 17th levels. ### Superchromat At 5th level, you become a superchromat, allowing your constructs to last longer. ### Streaming At 5th level, you have discovered the ability to project Luxin from your body with enough force to aid your movement. * You can spend 1 drafting point to take the Dash or disengage action as a bonus action on your turn. * You can spend 2 drafting point to have advantage on a Dexterity saving throw or jump twice your normal distance. ### Tools of Drafting You have a great understanding of drafting. Starting at 7th level, you can craft magnesium torches and colored spectacles. You also gain proficiency in Glassblower’s tools and Alchemist’s supplies. Crafting these items requires half the value of the item in raw materials and 1 day of work for every 5gp of value. ###### *Magnesium torches* require *Alchemist’s supplies* to be crafted. *Colored spectacles* require *Glassblower’s tools* to be crafted. ##### Items ###### **Magnesium torch - 1sp** Full spectrum light to use, duration 10 minutes, area 30 feet bright, additional 30 feet dim, underwater use. These can be any color of the spectrum that you can draft, superviolet torches are invisible to those who cannot draft superviolet. ###### **Colored spectacles - Below** Access to all colors in the spectacles while wearing if light is visible, can only draft those colors, change spectacles as a bonus action. * 1 color - 20gp * 2 colors - 50gp * 3 colors - 100gp * 4 colors - 200gp ### Chromatic Expertise At 18th level, you can draft a significant amount of Luxin at once to perform one of your color's Signature Ability. As an action, spend 4 drafting points and you create one of the following effects of a color that you can draft, as shown on the Signature Ability chart. ### Lightborn At 20th level, you know no limits to your powers and now hold light within yourself. Your eyes become prismatic, fiercely glowing with your drafting colors, and you no longer require a light source to draft. When you take a short rest, you regain drafting points equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Creatures within 20 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw against your drafting DC and take 10d8 fire damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful one. Creatures that fail the save are knocked prone. You take 3d8 force damage from the resulting pressure wave. |**Red: Burning Man.** You coat yourself in thick layers of Red Luxin and become wreathed in flame for the next minute. When a creature starts its turn within 5 feet of you, it takes 2d6 fire damage. You gain temporary hit points equal to any fire damage taken for this duration.| | **Orange: Hex.** Choose up to 3 creatures that you can see and that can see you within 90 feet. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be paralyzed for the next minute. This spell has no effect on undead. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make another Wisdom saving throw against your drafting DC. On a success, the spell ends on the target.| | **Yellow: Orholam's Glare.** You unleash a beam of yellow light, forming a line 5 feet thick that extends from you to a chosen target within 60 feet. Each creature in the line excluding you must make a Dexterity saving throw against your drafting DC, taking 3d6 radiant damage and 4d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.| | **Green: Green Golem.** Green Luxin encloses you in a suit of living armor for the next minute. You gain temporary hit points equal to your drafter level, your speed increases by 10 feet, and any of your melee attacks and Throw Luxin attacks deal one additional damage die for the duration.| | **Blue: Armor Plating.** Segmented Blue Luxin plates form over your skin for the next minute. You gain temporary hit points equal to double your drafter level, a +2 bonus to AC, and resistance to all bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage for the duration.| | **Superviolet: Light Needle.** You focus a beam of Superviolet light into a creature that you can see within 60 feet, causing it searing pain. The target must make a Constitution saving throw against your drafting DC. It takes 7d8 + 20 necrotic damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. \page

## Sub-red Sub-red exists is known to be a highly flammable substance and a source of heat. By dilating their eyes wide, Sub-red drafters can see heat, allowing them to visualize variations in temperatures, even in the dark. This also allows Sub-reds to be able to notice different emotions from others and the rise and fall of body temperatures. Sub-reds can draft the heat from their surroundings to survive intense conditions and to create flame crystals which turn into fire when exposed to air. Sub-reds are passionate in every way. They are the most purely emotional of all the drafters, making them the quickest to burst into tears or fly into a blind rage. Along with being emotional, Sub-reds are distractible, impulsive, unpredictable, and inconsistent. Drafting Sub-red is noted to feel like a hot wind and it has a scent of charcoal, smoke, or burning. ### Hold Luxin When you take the Hold Luxin bonus action with Sub-red, gain darkvision with a range of 60 feet or increase your inherent darkvision by 30 feet. ### Throw Luxin Launch a crystal of Sub-red at a target within 20 feet of you. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your drafting DC and take 2d6 fire damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful save. ### Chromatic Upgrades **Heating Up - 1 Chroma Point** You gain resistance to fire damage and immunity to any fire created by your Sub-red Luxin. ___ **Wreathed in Flames - 1 Chroma Point** While holding Sub-red you gain a 5 feet aura of blistering heat. Enemies within 5 feet take 2d6 fire damage and then have disadvantage on attacks due to heat shimmer. ___ **Burn Them All - 1 Chroma Point** When you take the Throw Luxin action, you may replace your ranged attack with a blast of flame. A blast of flame flashes out from your hand in a line that is 5 feet thick and 20 feet long. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes damage equal to your Throw Luxin damage, and half as much on a successful save. ___ **Flamboyant Personality - 1 Chroma Point** While viewing the Sub-red spectrum, you can tell the body temperatures of other humanoids, giving you an insight into their intentions. You have a +2 bonus to Insight checks against humanoids. You can spend 1 drafting point to draft Sub-red and gain advantage on all Charisma checks. ___ ##### Sub-red Mastery Mastery requires all other Sub-red Chromatic Upgrades to be purchased and has a cost of 5 chromatic points. ___ ``` ``` ___

**Flame Incarnate - 5 Chroma Points** When you acquire flame incarnate, you gain the following benefits. - You are immune to fire damage. - You no longer require concentration to hold Sub-red. - The aura of Wreathed in Flames is now 10ft. - The bonus to Insight checks gained from Flamboyant Personality is now equal to your Wisdom modifier. - The range of your Throw Luxin is now increased to 40 feet long. \page

## Red Red Luxin is sticky, gooey, and extremely flammable. Depending on how it is drafted, Red Luxin can be either thick or gel-like in substance. Reds often work with sub-reds or with mundane tools to make bombs. The skills of red drafters are used to catastrophic effect in war. Reds are quick-tempered, impulsive, lusty, and they love destruction. They can also be warm, inspiring, jovial, and powerful in nature. Red Luxin smells dried, like tobacco or tea leaves. ### Hold Luxin When you take the Hold Luxin bonus action with Red, gain proficiency in Intimidation and Performance. If you are already proficient in either of these skills, gain expertise instead.

### Throw Luxin A 10-foot square area that you can see within 20 feet becomes difficult terrain for 5 turns. If a creature passes through the area, they must make a Dexterity save against your drafting DC or take 2d6 fire damage as the terrain explodes under them. The terrain burns for the next two turns and then dissapates. During this time, any creature that starts its turn within the burning area or enters the burning area must make a Dexterity save or take 1d6 fire damage. It is possible to attack this terrain and cause it to explode if it has not already been triggered by a creature’s movement. ### Chromatic Upgrades **Friendly Fire - 1 Chroma Point** You and up to 3 allies of your choising gain resistance to fire damage and immunity to any fire created by your Red luxin. On a short rest you may switch your chosen allies. ___ **From Ash to Dust - 1 Chroma Point** You deal double damage to structures and the area of your Throw Luxin is doubled. ___ **Slow burn - 1 Chroma Point** When your red luxin combusts it now burns for 1 minute. ___ **Seething Flames - 1 Chroma Point** When you hold Red, any melee attacks you make deal extra fire damage equal to your Wisdom modifier. ___ ##### Red Mastery Mastery requires all other Red Chromatic Upgrades to be purchased and has a cost of 5 chromatic points.

**Hellfire - 5 Chroma Points** As an action, you may spend 4 points to cause the earth around you to erupt into a hellish landscape. A 50-foot circle centered on you becomes difficult terrain for enemies. Once this is cast, all enemies within that area must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 5d12 fire damage. The terrain burns for the next minute, any enemy that starts its turn within the burning area or enters the burning area must make a Dexterity save or take 2d6 fire damage. \page

## Orange Orange luxin is slick, lubricative, soapy, oily, and heavy. It is often used to make machines and traps more efficient. Oranges are often artists and are exceptional at understanding other people’s emotions and motivations. Some use this to defy or exceed expectations, proving themselves to be charismatic, emphatic, and sensitive. Others use these abilities to become master manipulators. Due to their natural empathy and attunement to emotion, they are capable of creating hexes or altering others’ emotions. Orange drafting leaves a distinct almond smell in its wake. ### Hold Luxin When you take the Hold Luxin bonus action with Orange, gain proficiency in Persuasion and Deception. If you are already proficient in either of these skills, gain expertise instead. ### Throw Luxin A 15-foot cone originating from you is covered in orange luxin for 5 turns. Creatures of your choice moving within this area must make a Dexterity save or they fall prone. Spending drafting points to empower this increases the range by 5-feet for each point. ### Chromatic Upgrades **Slick Movement - 1 Chroma Point** While on your Orange luxin, your movement speed is doubled. ___ ___ ___

**Hexography - 1 Chroma Point** You may spend 2 luxin points to cast Charm Person. Your spell casting DC for this is your drafting DC. You may also spend a minute to draft a hex for no drafting points which will cast Command upon a specified target once the target is within 10 feet of the hex. The hex has your luxin's duration. ___ **** ___ **Protected Mind - 1 Chroma Point** You have advantage on checks against being charmed or frightened. ___ **Charming Floor - 1 Chroma Point** When an enemy starts their turn or enters into your Orange luxin or the space above it, they must make a Wisdom saving throw against your drafting DC or suffer disadvantage on their next attack. ___ ##### Orange Mastery Mastery requires all other Orange Chromatic Upgrades to be purchased and has a cost of 5 chromatic points. ___ **Iron Mind - 5 Chroma Points** When you acquire Iron Mind, you get the following benefits. - You are immune to being charmed or frightened. - The range of your Throw Luxin cone is increased to 50 feet. - Allies now also benefit from Slick Movement. - You can spend one drafting point to cast Command, two points to cast Dominate Person, or, once per short rest, three points to cast Dominate Monster. - Your charming floor now causes a stun until the start of your next turn. \page

## Yellow Also known as "Brightwater,” Yellow Luxin is most often a liquid, slightly thicker than seawater and cool to the touch. In its solid state, it is considered the hardest Luxin, though only a superchromat can draft solid Yellow Luxin; solid Yellow requires skill, will, and concentration. Yellow is often used to nourish other Luxins, extending the durability of Luxin structures or tools. Commonly, it can be used as a torch or to ignite flammable materials or explosives. Yellow drafters are clear thinkers, perfectly balancing both intellect and emotion. Yellows also tend to be cheerful, wise, observant, passive, and can be both brutally honest and efficient liars. Yellow Luxin leaves a distinguishable smell of eucalyptus and mint. ### Hold Luxin When you take the Hold Luxin bonus action with Yellow, gain proficiency in Perception and Insight. If you are already proficient in either of these skills, gain expertise instead. ### Throw Luxin **Liquid Yellow** Throw a sphere of Luxin that explodes with a 10-foot-radius at a location within 60 feet of you. All creatures in the blast must make a Wisdom save be blinded until the start of your next turn. ___ **Solid Yellow** Throw a spear of Yellow Luxin at a target within 60 feet of you. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, they take 1d8 radiant damage. The Luxin bursts in their face and they must make a Wisdom save or be blinded until the start of your next turn. ### Chromatic Upgrades **Bright eyed - 1 Chroma Point** You gain advantage on saving throws against being blinded. ___ **Stronger Than Steel** You have become an expert at drafting yellow. You may now perform the Throw Luxin action with Solid Yellow luxin and make constructs out of Solid Yellow luxin. ___ **Bathed in light** You have become used to drafting and can draft more without exhausting yourself. Increase your drafting point total by 2. ___ **Blinding energy** When you Throw Luxin with Liquid Yellow it now affects a 20-foot-radius. When you throw Solid Yellow Luxin, it now explodes in a 10-foot-radius, forcing all creatures within 10 feet to make a Wisdom save or be blinded until your next turn. ___ ##### Yellow Mastery Mastery requires all other Yellow Chromatic Upgrades to be purchased and has a cost of 5 chromatic points. ___ **Champion of the Sun** When you take this feature, you gain the following benefits: - Your Constitution and goes up by 2 and your maximum Constitution score becomes 22. - You are immune to being blinded. - As a reaction, you may create a 15-foot-radius dome around you, shielding you and any other creatures within this radius from harm. This dome lasts for 5 turns or until you dismiss it as a bonus action. Any outside melee attacks, ranged attacks, or spells are blocked within this dome for the duration of this feature. Upon the casting of this feature, all creatures within 120 feet of you must make a Wisdom save or be blinded for the next turn. You may only use this feature once per short rest. \page

## Green Like flora, Green Luxin is springy and flexible, varying from textures of a grainy leather or tree bark depending on the will and intention of the drafter. The uses are as varied as the drafter is creative: from furniture to projectiles, from shields to the throwing arms of war engines. Green drafters are both wild and free, as well as flexible and adaptable. Greens are also rowdy and fairly friendly, even being noticeably forward in some cases. Green Luxin will cause a scent similar to resin or cedar to permeate the area. ### Hold Luxin When you take the Hold Luxin bonus action with Green, gain proficiency in Acrobatics and Athletics. If you are already proficient in either of these skills, gain expertise instead. ### Throw Luxin Coat your hands in Green Luxin, turning them into mallets. Make a melee attack against a target within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 1d12 bludgeoning damage. This counts as an attack action. ### Chromatic Upgrades **Strength of Trees** While holding Green gain a +2 to Strength and Dexterity. ``` ``` **Hard Hitter** When you hit with your Throw Luxin, you may spend drafting points to send the person you hit backwards. The target must make a Strength saving throw and on a failed save, move 10 feet for every point spent. If they hit a solid surface the target takes damage equal to 1d6 per 10-feet of movement remaining. They move half this distance on a successful save and take no damage from the movement. ___ ___ **Spring in Your Step** Your movement speed increases by 10 feet. ___ **Natural Companion** You may spend 2 drafting points and create a familiar for yourself out of Green Luxin, as if created by the Find Familiar spell. This familiar follows all rules set by that spell. ___ ##### Green Mastery Mastery requires all other Green Chromatic Upgrades to be purchased and has a cost of 5 chromatic points. ___ **Root and Stem** As an action, you may spend 5 drafting points and slam your hand into the ground, channeling green. All enemies touching the ground within 60 feet of you must make a Strength saving throw against your drafting DC or be grappled by green roots that sprout from the floor. This effect lasts for the next 5 turns or until you lose concentration. Targets grappled by the vines may try to break free as an action, by making a Strength check against your Drafting DC. As an action, you may force the roots to constrict around the grappled creatures. The targets must make a Constitution saving throw against your drafting DC or take 5d10 force damage. \page

## Blue Blue Luxin is hard, strong, and smooth but can have the consistency of chalk if drafted poorly. It can be used in anything from the creation of large structures to armor, bladed weapons, or projectiles. The deepest Blue is Violet. Blues are orderly, inquisitive, calm, cold, intelligent, musical, and unfailingly rational. Structure, rules, and hierarchy are important to them and they tend to value ideologies and correctness, rather than people themselves. Drafting Blue gives a faint odor of chalk or mineral. ### Hold Luxin When you take the Hold Luxin bonus action with Blue, gain proficiency in Investigation and History. If you are already proficient in either of these skills, gain expertise instead. ### Throw Luxin Make a ranged attack and launch a blade of blue luxin at a target within 60ft of you. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 slashing or piercing damage. ### Chromatic Upgrades **Elementally Charged** When you take this upgrade, you must choose between cold or lightning damage. While you hold blue luxin your throw luxin attack deals extra damage equal to your Wisdom modifier of the chosen damage type. ___ **Quickdraw** Drafting medium or smaller objects out of Blue Luxin is a free action and does not cost any drafting points. ___ **Two is Better Than One** When you perform the Throw Luxin action, you may target two targets and throw two blades. If there is only one target, then only one blade is thrown. ___ **Protective Barrier** When you are attacked, as a reaction, you may spend two Drafting Points and draft a shield of Blue Luxin to protect yourself. You gain +2 to your AC until the start of your next turn. ___ ##### Blue Mastery Mastery requires all other Blue Chromatic Upgrades to be purchased and has a cost of 5 chromatic points. ___ **Unbroken** When you acquire Unbroken, you get the following benefits. - Your Wisdom score and your maximum Wisdom score both increase by 2. - Any weapons drafted from Blue do an extra 2d6 of your chosen elemental damage type. - When you take a long rest, you may change your chosen damage type to cold or electric. - Your Protective Barrier now costs one Drafting Point to use. - Your Protective Barrier now gives a +5 to your AC. - You may spend 2 points to apply your damage buff to an ally’s weapon for the next 12 hours. \page

## Superviolet Made of wavelengths shorter than most human eyes can see, Superviolet Luxin is invisible except to Superviolet drafters—and those only when they intentionally contract their pupils to see in the Superviolet spectrum. Solid, but not as strong as Blue or Green, Superviolet is the subtlest Luxin. In terms of substance, it is very fine and similar to spidersilk, which makes it useful for cryptography, creating invisible walls and traps, and marking targets on the battlefield. Superviolet drafters tend to have a removed or detached outlook on the world around them. They appreciate irony and sarcasm and are often thought to be coldly rational, viewing people as projects, puzzles, or a code to be cracked. Conversely, irrational behavior tends to enrage Superviolets, as they pride themselves on being able to act without emotion. Drafting Superviolet tends to leave a scent similar to cloves. ``` ``` ### Hold Luxin When you take the Hold Luxin bonus action with Superviolet, gain proficiency in Stealth and Sleight of Hand. If you are already proficient in either of these skills, gain expertise in it instead. This effect lasts for the duration of Hold Luxin with Superviolet. ### Throw Luxin As a Bonus Action, shoot out a track of Superviolet Luxin and attach it to a target within 20 feet. The target must make a Intelligence saving throw against your drafting DC. On a failed save you and an ally of your choosing within 20 feet of you gain advantage on attacks against this target until the start of your next turn. On a successful save there is no effect. ### Chromatic Upgrades **Silence is Superviolet** You may spend 2 points of drafting points to draft a bubble of Superviolet Luxin around you to muffle sounds. You gain advantage on Stealth checks. You also gain advantage in Sleight of Hand checks to draft Superviolet unnoticed. ___ **Lack of Air** As an action, you may draft a bubble around a target's head and fill it with Superviolet gas. The target must make a Consitution saving throw against your drafting DC or begin to suffocate and suffer disadvantage on attack rolls. A creature affected by this makes another Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turns. On a successful save, the effect ends for the creature and the bubble dissipates. The creature is then immune to this effect for the next 24 hours. ___ **Simultaneous Tracks** You can keep track of multiple tracks at once. You may spend 1 point to keep a track active, extending its effects for an extra turn. You may do this for each track you have active. ___ **Superviolet Bandaging** You may spend one or more drafting points to create bandages for you or your allies. Each bandage heals for 1d6 + your Wisdom modifier of hit points. ___ ##### Superviolet Mastery Mastery requires all other Superviolet Chromatic Upgrades to be purchased and has a cost of 5 chromatic points. ___ **Web of Wonder** As an action you may spend 5 drafting points and draft a large amount of Superviolet Luxin out of your body. You may target up to 6 targets and 6 allies. All 6 allies then have advantage on attacks against the 6 targets for the next minute. This requires concentration. \page

## Drafter Discipline ### Blackguard Drafters of the Blackguard are the ultimate masters of combining drafting and physical attacks, whether armed or unarmed. They learn techniques to control the will of their opponents and practice advanced Luxin techniques that can protect them from harm. #### Arms and Armour You gain proficiency in all armours and martial weapons when you take this archetype. #### Fighting Style At second level, due to your training with such an elite unit of fighters, you gain skills in a particular fighting style. ##### Archery You gain +2 bonus to attack rolls with ranged weapons. ##### Defence While wearing armour, you gain a +1 to AC. ##### Duelling When wielding a melee weapon and no other weapons, you gain +2 to damage rolls with that weapon. ##### Great Weapon Fighting When you roll a 1 or 2 on damage for a weapon that you are wielding in two hands, you can reroll this damage die. This feature must be used with a two-handed or versatile weapon. ##### Protection When a creature you see attacks a target with 5 feet of you, you can impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You must be wielding a shield. ##### Two-weapon Fighting When using two weapons, you can add the ability modifier to the damage of the second attack. #### Extra Attack Beginning at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. #### Luxin-Infused Armour Starting at 10th level, countless hours of physical training have created a need for clothing that can withstand the punishment you put it through. The answer is a luxin infused fabric. Starting with a set of traveller's clothes, you can spend 2 drafting points and 10 minutes infusing the clothing with Luxin. The result is a stretchy, tight-fitting outfit that has the rules of scale mail without the stealth negative. This outfit gains a +1 bonus at the 5th level, a +2 bonus at the 10th level, and a +3 bonus at the 17th level. The Luxin lasts 1 day, so you must repeat this process to gain the benefits. ``` ``` #### Empowering Will Starting at 14th level, when wielding any weapon you have made or infused with Luxin, you may spend up to two drafting points to lower the critical success threshold by one per drafting point to a lowest critical threshold of 18. You may only do this twice per long rest. Additionally, when firing arrows or other projectiles made from Luxin you may spend a point to ignore half or 3/4 cover benefits of the target creature, curving the projectile midair. #### Overwhelming force At 17th level, every time you hit a critical, you may do a Throw Luxin action as a bonus action. \page

### Broken Eye Members of the Broken Eye are elusive individuals. In fact, the existence of the organization itself has never even been confirmed. However, rumours suggest that agents of this group can, for the right price, be hired to spy, steal, or even assassinate. It is even said that they possess powers beyond that of any normal drafter. #### Beyond the Spectrum When you take this discipline you gain access to one of the dark colors, Paryl. Paryl is beyond Sub-Red on the spectrum and is called a dark color due to the fact that you do not require light to draft it. To visualize paryl, the iris dilates to such an extent that the whites of the eye disappear, contorting the eye to an inhuman shape. ##### Hold Luxin Gain Blindsight out to a range of 30 feet. ##### Throw Luxin You throw a bundle of Paryl crystals at a creature you can see within 60 feet, targeting the nerves. The target must make a Constitution saving throw against your drafting DC or take 1d10 necrotic damage and loose function of a limb of your choosing until the start of your next turn. ##### Limb effects | Limb | Effect | |:---------- |:-------------| | Arm | Drop a held item or lose the ability to use a two handed weapon | | Leg/Wing | Halved movement speed. | #### Tools of the Trade You gain proficiency in Stealth and Sleight of Hand. If you already have proficiency gain expertise instead. #### Pinched Nerves At 10th level, when you perform the Throw Luxin action with Paryl and the target fails the saving throw, you may spend 5 points to paralyze the entire target creature until the start of your next turn instead of attacking a limb. #### Shimmercloak At 14th level, you may spend 10 minutes and 4 drafting points infusing a cloak with Paryl for the next 12 hours. When you hold Paryl while wearing the cloak, you and anything you carry become invisible. You lose invisibility if you attack or lose concentration. #### Seeing Beyond At 17th level, when you hold Paryl, your blindsight is replaced with X-ray with a range of 30 feet. \page

### Luxor Luxors are masters of light and chromaturgy. They have trained for years to know the colors and drafting better than anyone. They have further training to draft vast amounts quickly and to draft additional colors as well as learning techniques to combine colors. #### More Colors Starting at 2nd level, your drafting gifts begin to expand. Double your chroma points. If you gain one on a level up, gain 2 instead. You may not take a color mastery feature until the 17th level. #### Fast Drafter Starting at 6th level, if you have done the Throw Luxin action on this turn, you may Throw Luxin again as a bonus action for the cost of one drafting point. This bonus action cannot have its damage boosted by drafting points. #### Will Casting Starting at 10th level, when you are hit by a creature with an attack, you can spend 1 drafting point and assault the mind of your attacker. The creature must make a Constitution save against your drafting DC or be stunned until the start of your next turn. #### Advanced Constructs Beginning at 14th level, Luxin constructs with only one color do not require you to spend a drafting point to create them. With 2-3 colors, you must only spend 1 drafting point. 4-5 colors requires 2 drafting points, and 6-7 colors requires 3 drafting points. #### Light and Dark When you reach the 17th level, you must choose between White Luxin and Black Luxin, one being total creation and the other, total destruction. This choice can only be made once and once decided, you may not draft the other color. ##### Black Luxin As an action, you can spend 7 drafting points to draft a piece of Black Luxin and unleash chaos, madness and death upon your enemies. This ability can be used once between long rests. You launch a spear of Black Luxin at a target within 60 feet of you. The target must make a Constitution saving throw against your drafting DC and take 10d12+20 necrotic damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful save. You must make a Constitution save against your drafting DC or take 5d12+20 necrotic damage and roll on the short term madness table. ##### White Luxin You realise your ability to craft pure White Luxin. When in full light, you can craft a piece of White Luxin as an action with a cost of 10 drafting points. For the next 2 hours, you can cast sunlight in a 20-foot-radius centered on yourself. Additionally, within the 2 hour period, when any creature holding the White Luxin reaches 0 hit points, they absorb energy from the piece of Luxin and regain one fourth of their maximum hit points. \page

## Xanathar's Guide Background Options #### Drafter's Mark Drafters can easily be identified in many ways beyond the stained eye. Color is important to them and is involved in many aspects of their lives, which often ends up showing in the clothing they wear or the items they carry. Consider the colors your Drafter uses or plans to use and their personality, including what might set them apart from other drafters and what might indicate to others that they are a drafter. ##### Drafter's Mark | d6 | Mark | |:----:|:-------------| | 1 | You always wear a set of colored spectacles, or even have a belt of different spectacles tied around your waist. | | 2 | You wear a sleeve of the color that you primarily draft. | | 3 | You carry around the first item you drafted and you constantly refresh it to keep it with you. | | 4 | You tend to hold and release Luxin in your hand when you are at rest. | | 5 | You always take time to appreciate things that are of your preferred drafting color, studying them deeply. | | 6 | You constantly smell of the afterscent of your preferred color. | #### Mishap Everyone suffers injuries from magic but drafting especially takes a toll on your body. Along with this, some colors make drafters much more prone to mistakes. Ever scar and burn is a part of a drafter's history and defines who they are now. Consider how you got these scars and what they mean to your character. ##### Mishap | d6 | Mishap | |:----:|:-------------| | 1 | Your palms are completely covered in small scars from luxin ripping through your skin.| | 2 | Your arms are slightly dyed from the luxin resin of your preferred color. | | 3 | The tips of your fingers no longer have any sensation as a result of damaged nerve endings. | | 4 | A star-shaped scar covers your heart, with a twin shaped like a crescent moon on the opposite side of your body. | | 5 | One of your eyes is constantly dilated in an inhuman way, widened or tightened. | | 6 | You always feel the dominant emotion of your primary drafting color lingering in your mind. |
