# The Oath of Freshness ### A Paladin's Sacred Oath The Oath of Freshness marks a dedication to health and conservation. These paladins are usually the stewards of large cities, working closely with the governing body and populace to build utopia. They protect against disease as well as banditry, helping to keep the city clean and well maintained just as often as heroically leading soldiers into battle in its defence. #### Tenets of Freshness The tenets of the Oath of Freshness outline a commitment to maintaining the health and prosperity of a populace. ***Cleanliness.*** Cleanliless is next to godliness ***Efficiency.*** Work hard, work fast. ***Community.*** Provide for all. ***Freshness.*** Waste not, want not. #### Oath Spells You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed. ##### Oath of Freshness Spells | Paladin Level |Spells| |:----|:-------------| | 3rd | *Purify Food and Drink, Unseen Servant* | | 5th |*Enhance Ability, Heat Metal* | | 9th | *Beacon of Hope, Create Food and Water* | | 13th | *Control Water, Fabricate* | | 17th | *Creation, Flame Strike* | #### Aura of Cleanliness Beginning at 7th level, nothing near you
remains soiled. Any creature or object within 10ft.
of you is cleaned as if by the cantrip *Prestidigation.*
Spells such as *Grease* and *Stinking Cloud* part if
within range (as in do not effect squares within the
aura), but reform if you move away. Mundane
contaminants such as dust or mud remain cleaned. When
you reach 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30ft. You may supress this aura as a free action, renewing it as
an action. #### Now That's Better When you reach 15th level, the fervor with which you speak your oath strengthens. When you use your Channel Divinity to Re-Fresh you may allow an ally to use an action, if they did not do so on their turn. #### Corporate Giant Upon reaching level 20, you become a font of freshness.
As an action, you undergo a transformation. For
1 minute, you gain the following benefits: * You grow one category in size. If the space around
you is too small, you comfortably fit the space. * Your aura extends to 100ft. * Friendly creatures within your aura are resistant to
poison and have advantage on constitution saving
throws. #### Channel Divinity When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options. ***Re-Fresh.*** As a bonus action you present your holy symbol and speak your oath, using your Channel Divinity. A friendly creature of your choice that can see and hear you may use a bonus action available to them if they did not use one on their turn. ***Where's the Beef?*** You present your
holy symbol and utter a prayer censuring
the unclean, using your Channel Divinity.
Any abberation or vermin that can sense
you must make a wisdom saving throw.
On a failure, it is turned for 1 minute or
until it takes damage.
