### 1st-Level Spells #### Beastmark *1st-level Illusion* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Touch - **Components:** V,S,M (a miniature wooden mask carved to look like the animal) - **Duration:** 12 hours

A creature you touch takes on the illusory form of an animal species that is up to one size larger or smaller, but only creatures of that species can percieve the illusion. The illusion deceives the animal's sight, sound, smell and touch, but to any other type of creature, the target looks the same. The spell does not allow communication with the animal species, which still requires *Speak With Animals* or similar magic. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 1st. #### Puffball *1st-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Touch - **Components:** V, S, M (a tiny puffball) - **Duration:** 1 minute

You empower the natural properties of a tiny puffball. If it is thrown, dropped or crushed before the spell ends, it bursts open on impact, releasing a cloud of spores with a 5-foot radius. Creatures within the area at the start of their turn must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature becomes *Poisoned* until the start of their next turn. Creatures that don’t need to breathe or are immune to poison automatically succeed on this saving throw. A moderate wind (at least 10 mph) disperses the cloud after 4 rounds. A strong wind (at least 20 mph) disperses it after 1 round. #### Whisperward *1st-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Touch - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** Until triggered

You touch a single item, portal or closure (such as a book, door or lid), and state the conditions which trigger the spell ─ such as when a ccreature opens a window or touches an object. If you are within 1 mile when the ward is triggered, a soft whispering breeze blows across your face to alert you.

### 2nd-Level Spells #### Animal Spy *2nd-level Divination* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Touch - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 hour

You touch a beast or giant version of a natural creature. For the duration of the spell, you can use an action to see and hear through the creatures senses, and continue to do so until you use an action to return to your normal senses. A familiar belonging to another spellcaster may make a Wisdom saving throw to avoid being affected by the spell. The target is unaware of this effect unless told about it. The spell ends if the target is more than 100 feet away from you. #### Beastspite *2nd-level Enchantment* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 30 feet - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 hour

A creature you can see within range must make a Charisma saving throw. If it fails, the target becomes loathed for the duration by a type of beast you choose. This excludes monstrosities, but includes giant versions of natural species. If the target comes within 90 feet of a creature from the target species, they will make warning signals (bark, growl, etc.), closer approach will trigger a reaction based on the nature of the creature: - Aggresive creatures, including predators and most trained guard animals, attack the target. - Peaceful creatures shun the target and flee, unless cornered. - Owners may make a Wisdom (Animal Handling) check to restrain dometicated creatures, but even if successful, the creatures show obvious distress and may become hostile if the target touches them. - If the target is riding a creature of that type, the mount tries to throw them off. At the start of each turn, the target must make a contested Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) against the mount. If successful, they stay in the saddle. If unsuccessful, they fall prone beside the mount. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 2nd. #### Fortifying Stew *2nd-level Necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Touch - **Components:** V, S, M (a vial of stock) - **Duration:** 1 minute

You touch a bowl of broth, porridge, or stew and magically fortify it. If the enchanted meal is eaten by a single creature before the spell ends, they gain 2d4+2 Temporary Hit Points. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the number of bowls you can target increases by 1, and the number of temporary Hit Points increases by 5, for each slot level above 2nd. \page #### Gift of Speech *2nd-level Enchantment* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Self - **Components:** V, S, M (a sprig of pine burned to ash) - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 10 minutes

While you maintain concentration on the spell, all creatures within 30 feet of you with an Intelligence of 3 or less, are granted the ability to comprehend and speak one language that you know. A creatures knowledge is limited by its low intelligence, but at the minimum, it can give you information about nearby locations and monsters, and whatever it can perceive or have perceived within the past day. You might be able to persuade creatures to perform a small favor for you, at the DM’s discretion.

#### Shape Wood *2nd-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Touch - **Components:** V, S, M (a pinch of fine sawdust) - **Duration:** Instantaneous

You reform a wooden object up to 10 cubic feet in size, into anything you desire. If you have some relevant artistic proficiency, the DM may allow a roll to determine the quality of the result, but by default it is simple and functional. You can for example, form a wooden weapon, a rough door, or a crude figurine. You can also reshape an existing wooden door or window, perhaps to escape imprisonment. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the size of the object increases by 10 feet for each slot level above 2nd.

### 3rd-Level Spells #### Detect Attacker *3rd-level Divination* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Touch - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** Instantaneous

You touch a wounded creature and gain a fleeting mental image of whatever caused the injuries, or at least what it looked like at the time of the attack. You also learn the method of attack, the size of the attacker, and if their alignment was good, neutral, or evil. The attacker must also make a Wisdom saving throw, if it fails, you sense its current location and direction of travel. The wounded creature does not need to be alive, but the attack must have happened within the last 8 hours. #### Retarget *3rd-level Abjuration* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 reaction, which you take when you see a creature casting a spell - **Range:** 120 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (a silver mirror worth at least 25 gp) - **Duration:** Instantaneous

You attempt to alter the target of a spell in the process of being cast by another creature. You make a spellcasting ability check, contested by the creature's spellcasting ability. If successful, you can redirect the spell to a different target within range of the caster. If you succeeded by rolling a natural 20 on the die, you can redirect the spell to target the caster. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of a higher level than the spell which is being retargeted, the caster opposing you has disadvantage on their spellcasting ability check.

### 4th-Level Spells #### Druidic-Magic Zone *4th-level Abjuration* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 90 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (a vial of honey collected from a bee hive) - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute

All non-druidic magic is hindered inside a 60-foot-radius sphere, centered on a point you choose within range. There is no visible effect other than a silver radiance that emanates from you, which is unrelated to the area of the spell. Any creature in the area who casts a non-druidic spell, or uses an item to cast one, must roll a d20. On an 11 or higher, the spell doesn't take effect until the start of the creature's next turn, and the creature must use its action on that turn to complete the spell. If it can't, the spell is wasted. Additionally, creatures within the area gain advantage on saving throws against non-druidic magic.

#### Earthmaw *4th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 150 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (a tooth from a predatory creature) - **Duration:** Instantaneous

You cause a patch of ground with a 5-foot radius centered on a point within range, to tear open and form a huge mouth lined with rows of jagged stalactites for its teeth. The gaping maw makes a melee attack against each creature in the area, using your spellcasting attack bonus. Any targets it hits take 4d6 piercing damage. The earthmaw scores a critical hit on a 19 or a 20, and the unfortunate targets of its critical hits are also swallowed up and buried below ground. Buried creatures are *Blinded*, *Grappled* (your spellcasting DC to escape) and unable to breathe. Buried creatures must succeed on a Constitution saving throw at the start of each of turn or take 1d4 bludgeoning damage. A creature that is not buried, can dig out a buried creature in 1 minute using only their hands. If using an appropriate tool—such as a pick, crowbar, or shovel—that time is halved. This spell cannot be cast on wooden floorboards or a worked stone floor, only natural rock, earth, sand, etc. It also has no effect if cast in an area blocked by a Large tree, building, or other structure. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the piercing damage increases by 1d6, and the radius of the area increases by 5 feet, for each slot level above 4th.

\page #### Hunger *4th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 30 feet - **Components:** V, M (a pinch of the food that can end the spell) - **Duration:** Until ended

You quietly whisper the name of the food that can end the spell, and pick a number of creatures within range equal to 1 plus your Wisdom modifier, must each make a Constitution saving throw. Targets who fail can no longer gain sustenance from any kind of nonmagical food. No matter how much they eat, they still feel hungry. A creature can survive without sustenance from food, for a number of days equal to its Constitution modifier plus 3 (minimum 1 day), after which it gains 1 point of exhastion at the end of each day. The *Hunger* cannot be *Dispelled*, but it can be broken by the *Remove Curse* spell. The *Hunger* also ends if the target eats the food named during the casting of the spell, or if they die. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the number of targets increases by 1, for each slot level above 4th.

#### Knurl *4th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 30 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (a small twig) - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute

A creature within range must make a Wisdom saving throw or one of it's limbs, chosen by you, transforms into a tree branch of the same thickness, covered with bark and twigs. The limb has no joints and ends in twigs or roots rather than a hand or foot. A transformed arm can be used as a simple club, but is not able to manipulate objects, weapons or spell components. Each transformed leg reduces movement speed by half. While affected by the spell, the target is considered to be a plant and vulnerable to fire. At the start of each turn, the target can repeat the saving throw to end the spell. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you can transform one additional limb for each slot level above 4th. If you cast this spell using an 8th-level slot, the target's head also turns into a crown of branches, making it *Blinded* and *Deafened*. If you cast this spell with a 9th-level slot, the target turns into a tree and takes root, and if you maintain concentration until the spell ends, the transformation is permenant.

#### Needlestorm *4th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 150 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (a spine from a needle-bearing plant) - **Duration:** Instantaneous

You cause the spines of a needle-bearing plant within range to explode outwards in a deadly barrage with a radius of 30 feet. Creatures within the area take 6d8 piercing damage, or half as much on a successful Dexterity saving throw. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 4th.

> ##### Suffocating > A creature can hold its breath for a number of minutes equal to its Constitution modifier plus 1 (minimum 30 seconds). When it runs out of breath, it can survive for a number of rounds equal to its Constitution modifier (minimum 1 round). At the start of the creatures next turn, it drops to 0 Hit Points, is dying, and can't regain Hit Points or be stabilized until it can breathe again. >

#### Windlance *4th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Self - **Components:** S - **Duration:** Instantaneous

With a gesture you summon a powerful blast of wind which launches you up to 400 feet into the air. As you shoot upwards, you can use your *Wildshape* ability as bonus action. Creatures within 5 feet of you must succeed on either a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) ability check, or be caught in the updraft and lifted to 10% of your height before falling back down. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the height you can reach increases by 100 feet and the radius of the updraft increases by 5 feet, for each slot level above 4th.

### 5th-Level Spells #### Cloudscape *5th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 300 feet - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 hour

You cause 1,000 cubic feet of clouds within range, to become solid enough to support any weight. The strengthened cloud still remains airbourne and feels like soft carpet, but flying into it is like flying into a cliff face, and falling onto it deals normal damage. Creatures inside a cloud when the spell is cast, must succeed on a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check to escape to an adjascent square, or they become *Restrained* inside. A strengthened cloud is still pourous and trapped creatures inside it can breathe normally. A trapped creature can use an action on its turn to make a Strength (Athletics) check, if successful, it can move at half speed through the cloud. Strengthened clouds continue to drift with the prevailing winds, but may be steered by means of *Control Winds* or similar magic. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the range increases by 150 feet and the affected area increases by 500 cubic feet, for each slot level above 5th. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th-level the duration is up to 4 hours, at 7th level; up to 8 hours, at 8th-level; up to 16 hours, and at 9th-level; up to 24 hours. Casting this spell at 9th-level on the same cloud every day for a year, makes the effects of the spell permanent. \page

#### Nature's Charm *5th-level Enchantment* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 30 feet. - **Components:** V, S, M (a site of noteable natural splendour) - **Duration:** 8 hours

You can only cast this spell in a site of noteable natural splendour, that possesses both edible plants and fresh water within range. Any creature entering the area where the spell was cast, must make a Charisma saving throw. Any who fail, will invent excuses to remain in the area long after they should have left. They want only to bathe, rest, admire the scenery, eat the berries and fruit, paint a picture, compose a song, and above all, defend the area from anyone attempting to spoil it. Creatures affected by the enchantment will actively resist attempts to make them leave the area before the spell ends. At the start of each turn they are outside the area, an enchanted creature can repeat the saving throw to end the spell on itself. If unsuccessful, the creature will do everything it can to return to the area. The spell can be ended early with a *Remove Curse*, *Greater Restoration*, or *Wish* spell. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level, the range is 120 feet amd the duration is 1 day, at 7th level it is 500 feet and 1 week, at 8th level, it is 1,000 feet and 1 year. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level, the range is 1 mile and the spell lasts until it is ended by one of the spells mentioned above.

#### Strengthen Stone *5th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 30 feet. - **Components:** V, S, M (Crushed diamond worth 500 gp, which the spell consumes) - **Duration:** Permenant

You reinforce a stone construction (house, tower, wall, aquaduct, bridge, etc.) within range, against physical damage. The target gains advantage on any saving throws to avoid physical damage, and negates additional damage from the *Siege Monster* and *Siege Weapon* features. If you cast the spell on a stone golem, gargoyle or other animated stone creature, it recieves a +1 bonus to it's AC and saving throws. The spell has no effect on earth elementals or galeb duhr. The spell may only be cast on a target once, casting it again has no effect.

#### Thornwrack *5th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Touch - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute

Make a melee spell attack against the target. On a hit, 5 long, painful thorns grow out of the target's flesh, piercing the skin from the inside and dealing 1d8 piercing damage for each thorn. At the start of each turn, the target makes a Constitution saving throw. If successful 1d4 thorns break off, and the creature can move at half it's speed this turn, but it takes 1d8 piercing damage if it moves. If unsuccessful, it is *Restrained*. Either way, the target then takes 1d8 piercing damage for each thorn remaining. The target or a creature within 5 feet of it, can use an action to make a Strength (Athletics) ability check, which if successful breaks off 1d4 thorns. When all the thorns are broken off, the spell ends. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the number of thorns increases by 1 for each slot level above 5th.

### 6th-Level Spells #### Earthwrack *6th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 600 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (a pinch of salt) - **Duration:** 10 years

When this you cast this spell, all the ground within range becomes barren and blighted. Healthy plants wither and die within 1d4 days. No seed planted here will grow for the duration of the spell. Plant creatures entering the area feel an intense wrongness within the soil, and take 1d4 necrotic damage each turn they end there. Most druids consider this spell an abomination. The blight can only be ended early with a *Remove Curse* spell cast at an equal or higher level, or by a *Wish* spell. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the range increases by up to 200 feet and the duration increases by up to 10 years, for each slot level above 6th.

#### Ivy Siege *6th-level Enchantment* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 300 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (an ivy leaf) - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute

When this you cast this spell cast on a structure you can see within range, ivy immediately begins to grow around it, climbing up the sides of the structure at a fantastic rate. By the end of your turn, the ivy has climbed the sides of the structure and is spreading out. If you maintain concentration until the end of a second turn, fresh green creepers have completely covered the structure. If you maintain concentration until the end of a third turn, the ivy darkens, and begins crushing the structure. At the end of the third turn, and each following turn that you maintain concentration on the spell, the structure takes 6d6 bludgeoning damage. Multiple druids can cast multiple instances of this spell on the same structure. In the case of a large, interconnected series of buildings (like a castle), each casting affects only a single tower, keep, or wall segment, to a maximum of 1,000 cubic feet. If the structure already has ivy growing over it, the DM may rule that it immediately begins taking damage. This spell only works on buildings that are constructed upon the earth—flying castles and the like are unaffected. ***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the range increases by 100 feet and the size of the structure that can be affected increases by 1,000 cubic feet, for each slot level above 6th.

\page ### 7th-Level Spells #### Malcontent Woodland *7th-level Transmutation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 150 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (a tree root) - **Duration:** Permenant

Creatures within 150 feet of a point you choose within range start sprouting roots, branches and leaves. Roll 7d10+7; the total is how many hit points of creatures the spell can affect. Targets are affected in ascending order of their current hit points, starting with the creature that has the lowest current hit points. Each creature affected by the spell turns into a tree or similar plant native to the region. Subtract each creature’s hit points from the total before moving on to the one with the next lowest. A creature’s hit points must be equal to or less than the remaining total for it to be affected. Creatures that are transformed into plants by the spell retain their awareness, memories, personality and intelligence, but cannot do anything or communicate, except by a *Speak With Plants* spell or similar magic. Transformed creatures can only be restored to their original form with a *Remove Curse* cast at the same level or higher, or by a *Wish*. **At Higher Levels:** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the range and both increase by 50 feet and you roll an additional 1d10+1 hit points, for each slot level above 7th.

#### Tree Spirit *7th-level Necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Self - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** Permenant

You permenantly link your soul with a tree—usually one chosen carefully for its health, vigor, and remote location. Once your life-force is joined with that of the tree, you age at one-tenth the normal rate. The tree devotes all of its extra energy to this task, so it never grows any larger. If you die, your soul merges with the tree and no reincarnation or ressurection magic that is used on your body will work—unless it lies within 10 feet of your tree. If your body is not revived within one year of your death, your tree becomes a treant with your memories and personality, but not your class abilities. Once you are soul linked with the tree, you suffer an equal amount of damage from any injury inflicted upon the tree. You know it has been harmed, but not the nature of the injury. If the tree dies but the amount of damage you sustain is not fatal, you must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw. On success you are *Stunned* for 1 minute. On failure you are reduced to 0 Hit Points and are dying.
