### Bomb Bombs are gaseous globes of flame with a face, arms, and wicked toothy grin. They have fierce tempers, and usuaully explode out of agitation if injured enough. Bombs of different elements than fire also exist, such as ice and lightning, but they are far less common. ### Chocobo A breed of mostly flightless birds, characterized by their colorful feathers and the unforgettable chirp, "kweh!" Domesticated for their gentle nature and quick feet, they are often used as a mode of ground transportation, pulling carts, racing, and etc. Chocobo are highly intelligent and are capable of understanding speech. Most chocobo are kind animals as well, and through some minor magical abilities, are more than capable of helping out in a fight if they think they can. Each breed of chocobo is a different color, with each breed having a slightly different set of magical abilities. Yellow is the most common by far however. ### Dreamhare Dreamhare are slighly larger rabbits, with an array of colors, and large fluffy tails. ### Deathscythe Deathscythes are powerful undead necromancers who usually lead other undead. They are rare creatures, but if one is found, it is almost always in a death filled area such as a swamp or graveyard. They appear as humanoid skeletons with horns, claws, and a cloak. They have no lower body, so they hover as they move. Deathscythes are very intelligent, and are known for messing with people's dreams when nearby, often driving them mad to sow chaos. ### Lamia Lamia are women with the lower body of a snake and the upper body bearing many snake features, such as a snake's hood. Lamia tails are not long enough to use for combat, but they are intelligent spellcasters who are surprisingly adept with their claws in close quarters. They're more neutral than most other monsters, but are still prone to being a nuisance. There are several variantss of lamia, such as the lilith, and the even more powerful, lamashtu. ### Tonberry Sneaky beings that slowly creep through the darkness carrying knives and lanterns. Their incessant, innocent stare stabs through opponents, pushing them over the brink of despair. These small creatures, are one of the most feared things in Ivalice. Tonberries are small, usually no taller than three feet. They have green skin, round heads with small snouts, yellow eyes and a fish tail. They wear dark brown cloaks with hoods and carry an old-fashioned lantern and a small butcher knife. ### Drake Drakes are quadrupedal lizards covered in scales and armed with elemental abilities alongside their physical might. They are the most common of the dragon-kin, although far from weak. They were also able to fly via sheer magical ability as well. Lung dragons are the most intelligent of all of the dragons, and are capable of speaking. They tend to be very wise and surprisingly willing to aid those who seek their help, but they can act malevolent as well. ### Nidhogg Nidhoggs are bipedal, physically powerful dragon-kin with a brutish love for fighting. Their teeth are much smaller than other dragon-kin, so they cannot effectively bite, but they are incredibly muscular, so they use unarmed combat. They also have wings large enough to provide them a slow flight.
