# Oath of the Aviansie The Oath of the Aviansie calls to paladins who regard Justice and Law above all else. This oath is only granted by Armadyl if you are deemed a worthy follower. Armadyl's key belief that separates him from the other Gods is **'Avoid violence, but be willing to do battle when you have no other choice'**.

Paladins who dedicate themselves to this oath believe that any person can be redeemed and that the path of benevolence and justice is one that anyone can walk. These paladins face evil creatures in the hope of turning their foes to the light, and they slay their enemies only when such a deed will clearly save other lives. ### Tenents of Armadyl The tenets of the Oath of the Aviansie hold a paladin to a high standard of law and justice. ***Law.*** When people respect the laws and try to help one another, society as a whole prospers. ***Justice.*** To those cursed by war and pest, Come into the light of Armadyl and rest. ***Peace.*** Thou shalt avoid war; but, if thou must fight, Believe, and thou shalt strike true. ***Wisdom*** Peace shall bring thee wisdom; Wisdom shall bring thee peace. ### Oath Spells *1st-level Oath of the Aviansie feature* ___ You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of the Aviansie Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work. | Paladin Level | Spells | |:----:|:-------------| | 3rd |* command, gust of wind* | | 5th | *calm emotions, hold person* | | 9th | *motivational speech, hypnotic pattern* | | 13th | *dominate beast, otiluke's resilient sphere* | | 17th | *hold monster, steel wind strike *| ### Channel Divinity *3rd-level Oath of the Aviansie feature* ___ You gain the following Channel Divinity options. **Charming Presence.** You can use your Channel Divinity to exude a charming presence. As an action, choose a number of humanoids that can see and hear you within 30 feet, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one). These targets must make a wisdom saving throw or become charmed of you for 10 minutes. This ends if the target takes any damage, if you attack it, or if it witnesses you attacking or damaging any of its allies. **Winds of Abbinah** You can use your Channel Divinity to unleash the winds of Armadyl's homeworld Abbinah. As a bonus action you force all creatures within 10ft of you to make a strength saving throw against your spell save DC, as a strong wind is unleashed from you. On a failed save the target(s) are pushed 10ft backwards and are knocked prone. If the target(s) comes in contact with a solid surface they also take (1d6 + charisma modifier) bludgeoning damage. The damage increases to 2d6 at 7th level, and 3d6 at 15th. On a successful save the target(s) are only pushed back 5 feet, aren't knocked prone and take no damage. This ability doesn't work on creatures that are more than two sizes larger than you. ### Aura of Wind *7th-level Oath of the Aviansie feature* ___ A friendly wind surrounds you while you’re not incapacitated. The aura extends 10 feet from you in every direction, but not through total cover. You and and any creatures of your choice within the aura speed increases by 5 feet. In addition, gain advantage on ability checks and saving throws against being physically grappled or restrained as the wind aids movement. The air in a 5 foot sphere around you counts as difficult terrain for any non-friendly creature that is no more than two sizes larger than you. At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet and the difficult terrain increases to 10ft.

### Aviansie Wings *15th-level Oath of the Aviansie feature* ___ You gain the ability to sprout a pair of bird-like wings from your back, gaining a flying speed equal to your current walking speed. You can create these wings as a Bonus Action on Your Turn. They last until you dismiss them as a Bonus Action on Your Turn. You can’t manifest your wings while wearing armor unless the armor is made to accommodate them, and clothing not made to accommodate your wings might be destroyed when you manifest them. ``` ``` ### Blessing of Armadyl *20th-level Oath of the Aviansie feature* ___ You gain the ability to harness the full power of the Aviansie. As an action, you can magically become an avatar of Armadyl, gaining the following benefits for 1 minute: • Your flight speed granted by your Aviansie wings is doubled. • You no longer provoke opportunity attacks when you fly out of an enemy's reach • Violent winds surround you. Ranged weapon attacks made against you have disadvantage on the attack roll. • You are blessed with an otherworldly presence, gaining advantage on Charisma saving throws. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
