### Gifted Spell List The Draconic Lover eagerly expands the list of options available to you when learning a warlock spell. ### Object of Affection At 1st level, your draconic seduction attempts have borne
an ***unexpectedly successful*** fruit. You now have a full-fledged dragon wholly enamored with you, following your group’s every move from a distance. They move to be always 1 mile away from your current location, utilizing a dragon statblock chosen by the DM. Their presence in the surrounding areas might go completely unnoticed, leave a trail of scared (or confused) villages and towns, or simply create an urban legend or two along the way. The details of this interaction, and how it affects the campaign at large, are left to the DM’s discretion. The contract formed between the two of you (*whether knowingly or not*) allows your patron to magically know your location at all times, and gives you a measure of protection from harm (*or infidelity*). While your patron is within 3 miles of you, you are granted the following benefits: - You have resistance to one damage type of the DM’s choice. - You gain access to the *Blade Ward* cantrip, being able to cast it as a bonus action on your turn. - You have advantage on saving throws against breath weapons, and cannot be Charmed or Frightened by any dragon except your patron. - Whenever you attempt to charm a dragon that isn’t your patron, you take 16d6 psychic damage.

> > When determining the Draconic Lover’s statblock, it is recommended for the DM to pick one that doesn’t impact negatively on the balance of the game (such as a *Young Red Dragon*, or maybe even a *Blue Dragon Wyrmling*, for example); even if they happen to be Adult or Ancient in-universe.
The only necessary adaptation would be adjusting their creature size for the sake of accuracy.

### Hoarder’s Courting At 6th level, your patron begins to truly assert their feelings towards you, leaving anonymous gifts along your path. Whenever you enter a new settlement or town, or return
to one you were previously residing in, roll a d20. As soon as you arrive in a tavern, inn, guild building, or another similar homebase location, you receive a backpack containing a number of gold pieces equal to 20 times the result of your d20 roll; as well as one magic item of Uncommon rarity or lower (DM’s choice). Once you have spent a total of 7 consecutive days on the same settlement or town, you can manually activate this feature’s benefit once. The gifted item’s maximum rarity increases to Rare at 10th level, and Very Rare at 14th level.

\page ### Romantic Offerings At 10th level, your patron grows bolder in their attempts
to court you. They now move to be always 1000 feet away from your current location, making their presence (and trajectory) much harder to go unnoticed. Whenever you finish a long rest while your patron is
within 1 mile of you, they grant you the benefits of one
spell of their choice between *Beacon of Hope*, *Fly*, *Greater Restoration*, and *Nondetection*. These benefits last for 24 hours, or until you finish another long rest. Alternatively, your patron may choose to grant you the benefits of the *Create Food and Water* spell whenever you start a long rest.

### Scaly Betrothed At 14th level, the time to face your feelings grows nigh. Your patron now moves to be always 500 feet away from your current location, making their physical presence visibly noticeable to your group (and everyone else in town). Once per day, at the start of a long rest, you can call out to your patron in an attempt to make them come to you. Make a Charisma (Persuasion) check against their Passive Insight score. On a success, your patron comes out of hiding to settle things with you once and for all. You can then choose to **Accept** or **Reject** their love, with the consequences of each option detailed below:

##### ⟡ Accept ⟡ *Your patron’s romantic connection to you is fully realized, rendering the link between your souls absolute.*
*** Once per day, they can innately cast *Plane Shift* to teleport over to your location, regardless of which plane you are currently in. In addition, they now move freely alongside
your group, involving themselves in your affairs as the two
of you seem fit. They can participate in combat encounters, help with transportation, and provide any kind of assistance deemed possible for the current situation. The details of these interactions, and how they affect the campaign at large, are left to the DM’s discretion.
*However, in exchange for their constant help, your patron requires a daily display of affection from you.*
You are unable to perform short or long rests unless your patron is within 10 feet of you. Whenever you finish a long rest, you gain 1d4 levels of exhaustion (*phew...*).

##### ⤙ Reject ⤚ *Your patron’s unrequited love for you becomes an unhealthy obsession, rendering them into a shadowy stalker.*
*** Thrice per day, they can innately cast *Scrying* to spy on you, regardless of which plane you are currently in. They always remain at a distance of at least 1000 feet from you, but keep constantly scouring the land for any information they can get on your affairs. Whenever you roll for initiative, and at the start of each of your turns until the end of combat, your patron innately casts *Bane* on up to three hostile creatures within 30 feet of you. ```
