If he has already done so this round, he must instead take 10 Psychic damage to use this trait. This damage can't be reduced by any means. : ***Transcendent Motion.*** All fall damage dealt to Sephiroth is reduced to 0. He can fly when he moves, though he must end each turn on a solid surface or fall unless otherwise kept aloft. : ### Actions ***Telluric Fury.*** Sephiroth makes up to four *Masamune* attacks. He can move up to half his Speed between each of these attacks without provoking Opportunity Attacks. If all attacks made as part of this action hit, he immediately Recharges an action of his choice. Sephiroth can forgo one of these attacks to teleport the *Masamune* into his hand or use *Pierce* (if available). : ***Masamune.*** *Melee Attack Roll:* +15, reach 10 ft. *Hit* 16 (2d6 + 9) Piercing or Slashing damage (Sephiroth's choice). On a Critical Hit, this attack deals maximum damage, ignores Resistance and kills any creature it reduces to 0 Hit Points. : ***Hell's Gate (Recharge 6).*** Sephiroth flies up to his Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks, then immediately falls. At any point during this fall, he can make a *Masamune* attack. On a hit, that attack deals 3 (1d6) extra damage for every 10 feet Sephiroth fell before hitting (max 20d6) and its target has the Prone condition. : ***Octaslash (Recharge 6).*** This action can only be used while Sephiroth is Bloodied. Sephiroth moves up to half his Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks and makes a *Masamune* attack, then repeats this up to seven times. : ***Pierce (Recharge 4-6).*** Sephiroth moves up to his Speed in a straight line to a space adjacent to a creature he can see, then makes a *Masamune* attack against it. On a hit, that attack becomes a Critical Hit. This movement doesn't provoke Opportunity Attacks and can pass through creatures. : ***Spellcasting.*** Sephiroth casts one of the following spells at the 6th level, requiring no Material components and using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 19): : *3/Short or Long Rest each:* Cure Wounds, Fireball, Ice Storm, Lightning Bolt, Revivify, Wind Wall : ***Zanshin (Recharge 6).*** *Dexterity Saving Throw:* DC 22, each creature in a 60-foot Cone or a 100-foot-long, 15-foot-wide Line. *Failure:* 28 (8d6) Force damage and the target is pushed 15 feet away from Sephiroth. *Success:* Half damage only. ### Reactions ***Infernal Gate.*** *Trigger:* Sephiroth is on solid ground after using *Hell's Gate.* *Response: Strength Saving Throw:* DC 22, each creature within a 20-foot Emanation originating from Sephiroth. *Failure:* 3 (1d6) Thunder damage for every 20 feet Sephiroth fell during *Hell's Gate* (max 10d6). The target has the Prone condition and is pushed 20 feet away from Sephiroth. *Success:* Half damage only. : ***Octaslash Prime.*** *Trigger:* Sephiroth uses *Octaslash.* *Response: Dexterity Saving Throw:* DC 22, each creature within a 20-foot Emanation originating from Sephiroth he chooses. *Failure:* 21 (6d6) Force damage. *Success:* Half damage. : ***Scintilla.*** *Trigger:* Sephiroth is hit by an attack. *Response:* Sephiroth adds 6 to his AC against that attack. If it misses, he can make a *Masamune* attack against his attacker with Advantage if they are within reach. : ***Zanshin Rising.*** *Trigger:* Sephiroth uses *Zanshin*. *Response:* He immediately uses *Zanshin* again. ### Legendary Actions *Legendary Action Uses: 3. Immediately after another creature's turn, Sephiroth can expend a use to take one of the following actions.
