Powerful and mighty though the gods may be, they have need of mortal followers in order to spread their word and intent through the Mortal Realms there are few as trusted among these as the ones called Emissaries. Prophets, missionaries and holy folk, these people travel the land spreading the influence of their chosen deity calling upon miracles and punishing those who transgress their will. Cults and religions often rise around them becoming powerful spiritual leaders. Other times they might become hermits seeking solitude only interrupted by those seeking their wisdom. Whatever path they might take it will certainly not be an easy one, as their patron god is one that has chosen them for a high purpose and will expect their chosen one to brave any hazards in order to achieve it.

EMISSARY'S HOPE FEATURE

Command from the Gods: Spend 3 Hope to channel your god's power through a single spoken word directed to an Adversary of your choice who will be forced to obey it instantly at the best of their ability. You can not make someone directly harm themselves by using this feature nor contravene the tenets of your deity. The effect lasts as long as that Adversary holds the Spotlight. :

Thaumaturgy

You manifest a minor wonder, a sign of supernatural power, you can make minor changes to your appereance, such as make your eyes glow, or make minor sounds, such as to make your voice boom.

Vessel

You can channel your god's power through you to help someone else. You might mark a Stress to give Advantage to an ally within far range in an action that falls upon the domain of your deity.

Aura of Sanctity: You can spend any number of Hope to summon your aura of sanctity with a number of tokens equal to the number of Hope spent this way. While you have your aura all allies that are within Close range and yourself receive a bonus to their Evasion and Presence equal to the number of Tokens in your Aura while they remain in range. Each roll with fear done by one of your allies within the effect of the aura diminishes the number of tokens by one, the aura is dispelled. You can spend one token to heal a HitPoint of one of your allies within the area of effect.
