## Great Wight Shark Among the sahuagin forces, a giant shark occasionally performs better than most. Meaner, tougher and more ferocious, it is an ally that the sahuagin can rely on to assure victory. However, nothing lasts forever and eventually the beast will fall. When this happens, the priestesses may call upon the mighty shark god Sekolah to grant it undeath. When the spirit is willing, the shark is reborn, more potent than it was in life and with none of the frailties of the living. The sahuagin hold a certain reverence for the great wight shark, its form so much like that of Sekolah and with a fragment of their gods power keeping it alive, it is easy to see how many believe it to be a physical avatar of their god, instilling within them confidence in battle. Likewise, when one dies a true death, the sahuagin will mourn it like they would the passing of a great warrior, the knowledge that the loss will weaken their forces significantly leaving a bitter taste. ***Life Eaters.*** Neither dead nor alive, a great wight shark exists in a transitional state between one world and the next. The bright spark of life it once possessed gone, and in its place is a yearning to consume that spark in all living things. When a great wight shark attacks, the life essence of others glows like white-hot embers to its dark eyes, and the great wight shark's cold bite can drain the spark through flesh, clothing, and armour. ***Shadow of the Grave.*** Great wight sharks avoid shallow waters, dwelling instead in the dark depths of the sea, far from the light of the sun. Humanoids slain by a great wight shark can rise as zombies under the control of its sahuagin master, serving as fodder to draw first blood from their enemies, driving the great wight shark and sahuagin into a blood frenzy. ***Undead Nature.*** A great wight shark doesn't require water, food, drink or sleep.

The target must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or its hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0. A humanoid slain by this attack rises 24 hours later as a zombie under the shark's control, unless the humanoid is restored to life or its body is destroyed. The shark can have no more than twelve zombies under its control at one time.
