\page # The Bladesinger Bladesingers are elves who bravely defend their people and lands. They are elf wizards who master a school of sword fighting grounded in a tradition of arcane magic. In combat, a bladesinger uses a series of intricate, elegant maneuvers that fend off harm and allow the bladesinger to channel magic into devastating attacks and a cunning defense.

## War and Song When you adopt this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium armor, the longsword, and the scimitar. If you’re proficient with a simple or martial melee weapon, you can use it as a spell casting focus for your bard spells, provided that you aren't wearing heavy armor or using a shield. The bladesinger lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a bard spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. ## Bladesong Starting at 3rd level, you can invoke a secret elven magic called the Bladesong, provided that you aren't wearing heavy armor or using a shield. It graces you with supernatural speed, agility, and focus. You can use a bonus action to start the Bladesong, which lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are incapacitated, if you don medium or heavy armor or a shield, or if you use two hands to make an attack with a weapon. You can also dismiss the Bladesong at any time you choose (no action required). Roll your bardic inspiration dice, you gain the following benefits: * When you attack with that weapon, you can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. * Your walking speed increases by 10 feet. * You gain temporary hit-points equals to twice the value rolled for your bardic inspiration dice. * You gain a bonus to your AC equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of +1). * You gain advantage to any Constitution saving throw you make to maintain your concentration on a spell. ## Extra Attack Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. ## Steal spell Starting at 6th level, whenever you counterspell a spell, your next weapon attack does an extra 1d8 per spell level of the countered spell ## Song of Defense Beginning at 10th level, you can direct your magic to absorb damage while your Bladesong is active. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to expend one bardic inspiration and gain temporary hit points equal to four times the inspiration dice (if you and your DM prefer, roll the dice four times instead). Reduce any damage that you take first from the temporary hit points.

\page # The Chanter Chanters are bards who rely on verbal tradition. Instead of using magic instruments, they rely on their powerful voices and chant rhymes of courage and glory and give them and their allies supernatural strength to overcome any trials or burdens. ## War and Song When you adopt this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium armor, the shield, and the battle axe. If you’re proficient with a simple or martial melee weapon, you can use it as a spell casting focus for your bard spells\. ## Battle Chant Starting at 3rd level, you can expend one use of your bardic inspiration and you can invoke a secret magic song. You can use a bonus action to start chanting, which lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are incapacitated or silenced. You can also dismiss chanting at any time you choose (no action required). You start with two songs and you learn an additional song at the 7th and 10th levels. * **Blessed Was Wengridh, Quickest of His Tribe** up to three friendly creatures of your choice in a 30 feet radius gain extra 5 feet of movement * **Dull the Edge, Blunt the Point** up to three friendly creatures of your choice in a 30 feet radius gain temporary hit points equal to your charisma modifier. At 10th level, the hit points increase to 3 + your charisma modifier. * **The Dragon Thrashed, The Dragon Wailed** up to three hostile creatures of your choice in a 30 feet radius take fire or slash damage equal to your charisma modifier. At 10th level, the damage increase to 3 + your charisma modifier. * **Lo, Their Endless Host, the Harbingers Doom** up to three hostile creatures of your choice in a 15 feet radius lose 10 feet of their movement until the start of your next turn. * **Her Courage Thick as Steel** a friendly creature of your choice in a 30 feet radius has advantage in their next attack roll. * **The Fox from the Farmer Did Run and Leap** up to three friendly creatures of your choice in a 30 feet radius do not provoke attacks of opportunity for the first 5 feet of their movement. * **At the Sight of their Comrades, their Hearts Grew Bold** the attacks of a friendly creature of your choice in a 30 feet radius count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. At 10th level, the the attack rolls and damage rolls of the target gain a bonus equals to half your charisma modifier (rounded up). ## Song of Wrath Starting at 6th level, whenever you chant, you start to stockpile raw magic. Your chant starts with one rhythm and at every turn, you can spend your bonus action and add one extra rhythm to your chant. Instead of adding a rhythm to your chant, you can use your bonus action to burn your pool of rhythms and evoke one of the following effects. Whenever you use this feature, your battle chant ends. * **The Thunder Rolled like Waves on Black Seas** up to three hostile creatures of your choice in a 30 feet radius must make a Strength saving throw. A target takes thunder damage equals to your bardic inspiration dice -- per stocked rhythm -- on a failed save and is knocked prone, or half as much damage on a successful one and it isn’t knocked prone. * **The Bride Caught their Ruse and Set to Make them Pay** up to three hostile creatures of your choice in a 30 feet radius must make a Charisma saving throw. A target takes necrotic damage equals to your bardic inspiration dice -- per stocked rhythm -- on a failed save and is frightened until the end of your next turn, or half as much damage on a successful one and it isn’t frightened. * **Rise Again, Rise Again, Scions of Adon!** up to three friendly creatures of your choice in a 30 feet radius regain hit points equal to your bardic inspiration dice -- per stocked rhythm. * **Thrice Was She Wronged, and Thrice Justly Avenged** make a melee spell attack -- per stocked rhythm -- against a creature within 30 feet of range. Each attack has a bonus to attack rolls equals to the number of stocked rhythms. On a hit, the target takes force damage equal to your bardic inspiration dice + your charisma modifier. The DC for your song of wrath is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier. ## Secret of Rhymes Beginning at 10th level, you can change the song/effect of your battle chant at the beginning of your turn (no action required). Also, your chant starts with two rhythms.

\page # Bleak Walker The ranks of the Bleak Walkers consist of soldiers dedicated to conducting warfare mercilessly and with extreme brutality in order to bring a swift end to conflicts. Because they are renowned for their terrible and unyielding nature, most nobles will only call on them as a last resort. The Bleak Walkers' behavior reinforces cruelty because the quickest resolution to a battle is one in which the Bleak Walkers' arrival is announced and a surrender immediately follows. ## Bonus Proficiency At 1st level, you gain proficiency with martial weapons and heavy armor. ## The Black Path When you choose this domain at 1st level, you call upon your god's inner wrath, making you a fearsome foe in the battlefield. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with any melee weapon. ## Channel Divinity: Sacred Immolation Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to self-immolates in blue flame. As an action, you burn with holy flames. For 1 minute enemies in the area take immolation damage and you and allies regain a small amount of endurance. As long as the immolation is active, you can use your bonus action to magically make the fire pulse in a 10 foot radius around you. Up to three Enemies in the area take 1d6 + your Wisdom modifier radiant or necrotic damage. Up to three creatures in the area including yourself regain hit points equals to your Wisdom modifier. The immolation damage increases by one die when you reach 5th level (2d6), and 11th level (3d6). The hit points regained increase to twice your Wisdom modifier when you reach 11th level.

## Zealous Focus Starting at 6th level, you can utter a war cry announcing the bleak walker's arrival to the battlefield. As a bonus action, you grant yourself a zealous focus for 1 minute or until you fall unconscious. For the duration, when you take the Attack action on your turn you can attack twice, instead of once. You ignore this benefit if you already have a feature, like Extra Attack, that gives you extra attacks. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. ## Divine Strike At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 damage of the same type dealt by the weapon to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.

\page # The Witch Doctor Witch doctors are spiritual warriors who summon dead souls and crawling creatures to do their bidding. The ability to infect, slow and terrify their enemies gives witch doctors unprecedented control over a battlefield. ## Bad Voodoo When you choose this domain at 1st level, any cleric spells you cast that deal necrotic or poison damage ignore a creature's resistance to that damage type. Your domain also grants you the power to **hex** a hostile creature. When you or an ally are attacked by a creature within 30 feet of you that you can see, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll, causing specters and creatures from the shadowfell to haunt the attacker. An attacker that can't be frightened is immune to this feature. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. ## Channel Divinity: Zombie Minion With 10 minutes of work and the expenditure of 10 gp worth of rare herbs and fine food, you call forth a zombie animal (usually a dog) from the shadowfell to serve as your faithful companion. The minion obeys your commands as best it can. In combat, the minion shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its reaction on its own, but the only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take one of the actions in its stat block or the Dash, Disengage, or Help action.

## Midnight Feast At 6th level, you have a stronger connection to the dark energies of the shadowfell plane. You use this energy to enhance your minion and your curses. First, your minion’s bite attack is now considered magical for the purposes of bypassing resistances and immunities, thanks to a stronger link you have made to the creature's original plane of existence. If your minion is reduced to 0 hit points, you can also spent your reaction and trigger its sacrifice action. Second, you regain your **hex** uses when you finish a short rest. ## Spiritual Attunement Starting at 8th level, you have learned to regain some of your magical energy by borrowing power from the shadowfell. Once per day when you finish a Short Rest, you can choose expended Spell Slots to recover. The Spell Slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your Cleric level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher. ## Gruesome Sacrifice Also at 8th level, whenever you use your minion's sacrifice action. You force any number of creatures in the area of effect to roll a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a fail, the creature is restrained until the end of your next turn.

\page # Earthshaker Druids that mold the earth to their will. An earthshaker has the fury of an earthquake or the gentleness of drift sand. No one can tell. In battle, an earthshaker uses its druidic magic to create protective stone armour or to barrage enemies with stone pin missiles.
## Prerequisite The earthshaker circle is exclusive to earth genasi and goliath races. At your DM's discretion, other races are allowed. ## Circle Spells Your symbiotic link to the earth and soil grants you access to certain spells. At 2nd level, you learn the Geomagnetic Blast cantrip. This cantrip is exclusive to the circle of the earthshaker and no other class or circle can cast it. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Earthshaker Spells table. Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you. ## Stone Endurance At 2nd level, your hit point maximum increases by 1 and increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class. Additionally, parts of your skin are covered by a thin yet resistant magical armor made of earth and stone. When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier. At 6th level your AC increases to 14 + your Dexterity modifier and at 10th level to 15 + your Dexterity modifier. ## Earth Revenant At 2nd level, you gain the ability to magically control the environment around you. As an bonus action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to awaken your earth armor. Rather than transforming into a beast form, stones and debris break from the nearby environment and whirl around you causing damage to attackers and empowering your geomagnetic blast. You gain the following benefits: * **Stone rebuke:** The first time a creature hits you with an attack in a turn, that creature takes bludgeoning damage equal to your level in this class.

#### Game mechanics: The stone rebuke damage works similarly to a sneak attack, which means that creatures take this damage if they hit you with attacks of opportunity or whenever they attack in other creatures' turn.

* **Empowered Blast**: add your Wisdom modifier to the damage of any stone missile of your geomagnetic blast. These benefits last for 10 minutes, until you lose all these temporary hit points, or until you use your Wild Shape again. ## Aftershock At 6th level, you can further empower your geomagnetic blast with a aftershock effect. Once per turn, you may expend a druid spell slot to cause one of your stone missiles to deal extra damage. The extra damage is 1d8 per level of the spell slot, to a maximum of 5d8. Additionally, whenever your earth revenant class feature is active, a creature hit by a empowered stone missile must also succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or be stunned until the end of your next turn.

\page ## Echo Slam At 10th level, you gain the ability to cause a small earthquake by stomping the ground and channeling your geomagnetic grip through your surroundings. As a reaction before an enemy movement or attack roll within 60 feet of you, you cause a shockwave that travels through the ground and hits the target. The creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or be knocked prone. If the target has burrow speed, it makes the roll with disadvantage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

#### Game mechanics: A prone creature has disadvantage on their attack rolls and it must spend half of its movement to stand up from prone.

## Craggy Exterior At 14th level, the minerals and stone of your earth armor alter you: you can’t be blinded, deafened, frightened, or poisoned, and any critical hit against you counts as a normal hit, unless you are incapacitated. ## Spells #### Geomagnetic Blast *Druid Cantrip -- Evocation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 60 feet - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** instantaneous You use geomagnetic energy to control earth and stone in your surroundings. One or more stone missiles streak toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage. The spell creates more than one stone missiles when you reach higher levels: two stone missiles at 5th level, three at 11th level, and four stone missiles at 17th level. You can direct the attacks at the same target or at different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each stone missile.

\page # Dwarven Defender Dwarven defenders are skilled in many ways but the emphasis of their training lies on defense, rather than offense. All dwarven defenders have an extreme capability both for deflecting blows with their armor or shields, as well as for taking any blows that get through. A line of dwarven defenders is a far better defense than a 10-foot-thick wall of stones, and much more dangerous.

## Hold the Line Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they move 5 feet or more while within your reach, and if you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the target's speed is reduced to 0 until the end of the current turn. ## Defensive Stance Starting at 3rd level, you can spend your bonus action and take a defensive stance. When a dwarf defender adopts a defensive stance, they gain phenomenal strength and durability. While on defensive stance: * You have advantage on all Dexterity saving throws. * You gain +1 bonus to AC. * You gain temporary hit-points equals to half your Fighter level. * Attacks against a single ally that is within 5 feet of you have disadvantage, as you are constantly protecting them. You can use this feature three times. You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest. ## Dwarvish Runes Starting at 7th level, you enchant your armor and shield with mighty dwarven runes. You can carve up to three runes which remain on an object until you finish a long rest or you activate the rune, dispelling its effect. * **Nogrod** you activate this rune as a reaction when you are the target of a spell. You have advantage against the spell save. * **Dor-Lómin** you activate this rune as a reaction when you take acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage. You have resistance to the triggering damage type until the start of your next turn. * **Kheled-zâram** you activate this rune as a reaction when you are hit by an attack. Until the start of your next turn, you have a +4 bonus to AC, including against the triggering attack. If the attack misses, you can make a melee weapon attack against the creature. If you hit, you add your Fighter level to the attack's damage roll. * **Nauglamír** you activate this rune when you use your Second Wind feature, you can choose up to three creatures within 60 feet of you that are allied with you. Each creature regains an equal amount of hit points. * **Mîr** you activate this rune as a reaction when a hostile creature moves adjacent to an ally. You immediately move up to your movement speed towards the creature. If you end your movement adjacent to the creature, make a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the target’s Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (the target chooses the ability to use). If you win the contest, you knock the target prone. ## Living Fortress Starting at 10th level, you have advantage on initiative rolls. Additionally, your defensive stance AC bonus increases to +2.

\page # Sword Saint A honorary title given to a warrior of legendary skill in swordsmanship. The term is considered by some to imply a higher degree of perfection possibly also encompassing a moral dimension. Although there is no such written rule, the title carries such prestige that is commonly understood that there should be no more than one kensei at any given time.

A true samurai has only one judge of his honor, and that is himself. Decisions you make and how those decisions are carried out are a reflection of who you truly are. You cannot hide from yourself.

## Prerequisite You cannot have a shield as your holy symbol. A sword saint often has his holy symbol tied to the pummel of his sword or wrapped around his hand. ## Channel Divinity When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options. **Hallow Weapon.** As a bonus action, you can imbue one weapon that you are holding with positive/negative energy, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 minute, when you score a critical hit with the weapon or use your Divine Smite feature, you can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action. If the weapon is not already magical, it becomes magical for the duration. You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends. **Center Stance.** As an bonus action, you gain inner focus and reflexes in combat, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 minute, when a creature hits you with an Attack, you gain your Charisma modifier bonus to AC against all subsequent attacks made by that creature for the rest of the turn.

#### Stasis Sword *3rd-level evocation* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 5 feet - **Components:** V, M (a weapon), S - **Duration:** up to 1 minute As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a melee attack with a weapon against one creature within the spell's range, otherwise the spell fails. On a hit, the target suffers the attack's normal effects and a rift through time and space deals an extra 3d6 force damage to the target, which is them slowed. The target's speed is halved, it takes a -2 penalty to AC and Dexterity Saving Throws, and it can't use reactions. On its turn, it can use either an action or a Bonus Action, not both. Regardless of the creature's Abilities or Magic Items, it can't make more than one melee or ranged Attack during its turn. If the creature attempts to Cast a Spell with a Casting Time of 1 action, roll a d20. On an 11 or higher, the spell doesn't take effect until the creature's next turn, and the creature must use its action on that turn to complete the spell. If it can't, the spell is wasted. \page # Dervish Nearly all dervishes belong to nomadic cultures. These nomads are not simple wanderers with no roots to call their own - they have their ancient traditions, and their societies simply do not consider permanent settlements an important part of their nature. Wild, exotic, and as dangerous as her whirling blades, the dervish epitomizes speed, quickness, and abandon.
## Dervish Magic Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Dervish Spells table. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of ranger spells you know. ## Whirling Blades At 3rd level, you master the art of two-weapon fighting. When you make your first Attack on Your Turn, you can decide to Attack recklessly. Doing so gives you an extra 1d4 weapon damage per weapon attack, but you must use your bonus action to attack with your off-hand weapon. Your whirling blades die changes when you reach certain Ranger levels. The die becomes a d6 at 7th level and a d8 at 11th level. ## Nomad The dervish nomadic culture allows them to adapt to the most inhospitable environments. For example, a dervish traveling through a marsh or a rain forest will quickly learn about edible and poisonous mushrooms, therefore gaining resistance to poison damage. At 3rd level, if you spend 2 or more days traveling through a landscape, you gain resistance to either poison, cold or fire damage. Whenever you finish a long rest, you may change your damage resistance type. ## Extra Attack Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

## Mirage By 7th level, you may cast the Mirror Image spell as a bonus action, without expending a spell slot or the need of any spell components. You can use this feature three times. You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest. ## A Thousand Cuts At 11th level, you learn to attack with such unexpected speed that you can turn a miss into another strike. Once on each of your turns when you miss with a weapon attack, you can make another weapon attack as part of the same action. ## Deadly Perimeter Starting at 15th level, you have honed your ability to fight with two weapons both aggressively and defensively. As a reaction to the first attack roll a creature makes against you, you start to use your blades to deflect any incoming attacks made by that creature against you. Make a contested attack roll against all the creature's attack rolls on that turn. If you win, the creature's attack misses you and you may roll damage for your attack roll. The damage roll alternates between your main-hand weapon and your off-hand weapon. For example, if you deflect three attacks using this feature, the first damage roll is from your main-hand weapon, the second from your off-hand weapon and the last, from your main-hand again. You can use this feature a number of times equals to your Dexterity modifier. You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.

\page # Whispering Knife The city guard looked about uneasily. Was he seeing things or did a stealthy figure just duck behind that pillar? Suddenly, a dart like object hit the guard in the throat and even as he fell, a figure slipped through the entrance into the treasure room. ## Steady Aim Starting at 3rd level, attacking at long range with a weapon with the light and throwing properties doesn't impose disadvantage on your ranged weapon attack rolls. Additionally, you can draw or stow two one-handed weapons when you would normally be able to draw or stow only one. ## Whisper Knife When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn the secret magic that makes the weapons of the whispering knives so deadly. You magically attune to up to four weapons in your possession with the light and throwing properties. The weapon damage dice increases to a d6 and, whenever you throw them, the weapon dissipates at the end of the turn. Thereafter, the weapon reapears in their sheaths. You can absorb the properties of one one-handed Magic Weapon by performing a special ritual while you study the weapon. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a Short Rest. At the end of the ritual, the original weapon is destroyed and any of your whisper knives have the magical properties of the absorbed magic weapon. You can’t affect an artifact or a sentient weapon in this way. Whenever you absorb a new item, the properties of the previous one cease to exist. ## Deadly Reflexes Starting at 9th level, you have mastered the art of knife throwing. As a reaction to an enemy moving towards you, you may make a ranged weapon attack. If the attack hits, you may acrobatically tumble 10 feet away from the enemy without provoking an attack of opportunity. You can use this feature a number of times equals to your Dexterity modifier. You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest. ## Knife Barrage By 13th level, when you use the Attack action and make a ranged attack with a one handed weapon, make one additional attack. You automatically draw a throwing weapon for this extra attack. ## Pierce the Veil Like a ghost, you have the ability to slip in and out of the Ethereal Plane. Starting at the 17th level, you can use your cunning action in your first turn of a combat to cast the blink spell. Even in the etheral plane, you can still use your deadly reflexes class feature and affect creatures in the material plane, as your thrown knifes pierce the veil between the two planes.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Through skill and talent, Aegers craft constructs charged with protecting themselves, dungeons, or members of royalty. ## Shield Guardian At 2nd level, you have learned to weave your magic to create a powerful beign to protect you in battle. Provided that you expend one spell slot of 1st level or higher and 10 gp worth of spell components, as part of a short or long rest, you craft a shield guardian. The shield guardian has a central magical core in the shape of a unique symbol. You carry a talisman on a staff, necklace, or any other ornament with a similar yet smaller version of that symbol. This wondrous item lets you magically control the guardian. In combat, the guardian shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its reaction on its own, but the only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command it to take one of the actions in its stat block or the Dash, Disengage, or Help action. ## Stasis Glyph At 2nd level, you have learned to weave your magic to create an arcane glyph. As a bonus action, chose three points in space within 30 feet of you. You magically ward that location. A glyph can only be seen by the Aeger and by creatures that have true sight. Whenever a creature starts its turn over an arcane glyph or move to a space occupied by a glyph, it must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell DC. On a failed save, the creature's speed is halved. You can decide not to trigger the glyph (no action required). You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. ## Warding Bond Starting at 6th level, you are magically bonded to the shield guardian. As long as the guardian is within 15 feet of you, you gain +1 bonus to AC and saving throws, and you have resistance to non-magical weapon damage. Also, each time you take non-magical weapon damage, the guardian takes the same amount of damage. This damage cannot be reduced by any means. ## Defensive Grid Beginning at 10th level, your shield guardian emanates a threatening arcane aura that discourages any creature from approaching its master. The aura flits around the shield guardian to a distance of 15 feet. Any hostile creature in the area has its speed reduced by 10 feet, and when the creature attacks the wizard for the first time on a turn, it must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell DC. On a failed save, the creature takes force damage equal to your wizard level.

##### The crafting of a Shield Guardian You are encouraged to talk with your DM and discuss any roleplaying aspects to how you create the shield guardian and what materials it is made of. For example, on a shipwreck, you may roleplay that you magically levitate driftwood, sea stones, and rusty iron chains to craft your shield guardian. The shield guardian can also represent a spirit or fey creature bonded to you by a contract.
