\page# Shattered Stars ## Arcane Vessel An assault party of paleskin giants dash across a set of hills in pursuit of a caravan. A lone Halfling, who's eyes are obscured by a beaten strawhat seperates from the fleeing convoy. He adjusts his armor as the giants crest a hill, then materializes a greatsword many times the size of his body. In one motion he cleaves the first few giants and readies himself for the onslaught. As a group of adventurers shuffle across a field overgrowing with violet grass stalks, a wizard begins to evoke magic in search of an item. When they start the chant the spell fizzles. She realizes she lacks all of the components needed hulking human woman blows on a horn and conjure an arcane focus as a replacement. Inside of the Devil's Maw, a fierce battle between the lich king, Effron, and a group of clergy ensues. The clergy folk begin to lose the upperhand when a silver Dragonborn begins gathering mana above him. The swiriling mass of energy forms a halo which grows and envelops his allies in a blue radiance, which seems to restore their strength. ### Arcane Generator Long before the first mention of a fireball crept through mortal tongue, magic flowed through the realms. During those times there were two kinds of magic wielders; those who'd cling to magic temporarily, using it to alter the rules of the realm through a focus or components and then there are those who would claim control of the weave directly by storing magic in their bodies as if they were breathing. Mana lives in their bodies, minds, and souls so they became known as Arcane Vessels; a being who's very blood has become soaked in mana through use, ancestry, experimentation, or accident. Due to their ability to generate and recover mana they are frequently sought after as portable power packs by corporations, mages, and more. Many Arcane Vessels attempt to hide their abilities or pass them off as magical effects for any number of reasons. There are some who would train people in techniques to manifest mana. ### Enlightened Being "To hold the world, is to hold mortals. To hold mana, is to hold life itself." -A drunk adventurer when asked what he knew about Arcane Vessels. Arcane Vessels are capable of absorbing eons of information in seconds. Therefore in order to grow their control of the magical catalyst that dwells within, they must gain a strong will and knowledge of character. Knowing what modifications would work best for you will lead to an understanding of your individual strengths and weaknesses. As an Arcane Vessel you may have set out on the path of self understanding as a sage who has just recently gained control over magic. Maybe you were an experiement to replicate a previous magical powerhouse. Whatever reason you may choose keep in focus how you wield the magic within. You could reject, ignore, or adore the forces that reside within. They could shape your lifestyle or be a sudden change that calls you to adventure. ### Creating an Arcane Vessel An Arcane Vessel can be formed in many ways. Magical catalysts occur in plant matter, most mortal life forms, and artifacts. While certain beings may be able to infuse magic into a being, that creature can only become a Vessel once bound to the inner workings of the world itself. Talk with your DM about what creatures or consciosness guides the flow of mana in your world and how they may effect your backstory/character. Each magical catalyst in this class description represents a link in the trinity of body, mind, and soul. When building your character take into account what caused the Magical Catalyst to take root in your form. Was it a freak accident of a bolt of violent lightning from a void storm? Were you born capable of grasping onto the threads that connect the world? Did you develop an affinity with magic through training with druids? Once again, discuss with your DM to see what sort of world you'll be playing in. Also consider your motivations for the adventure when constructing your background. \page

#### Quick Build First put your highest stat in Charisma, then Wisdom. Choose the hermit background. Finally, choose the Resolute Vessel at level one. ## Class Features As an Arcane Vessel you gain access to these class features. #### Hit Points - Hit Dice: 1d8 per arcane vessel level - Hit Points at 1st Level: 8 + your Constitution modifier - Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d8 (or 5) + your Constitution modifier per arcane vessel level after 1st #### Proficiencies **Armors**: Light Armor, Medium Armor **Weapons**: All Simple Weapons **Saving Throws**: Charisma, Wisdom **Skills**: Choose two skills from Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Perception, Persuasion, or Survival ``` ``` #### Equipment You start with the following equipment, in addition to any equipment granted by your background. - Two simple weapons of your choice - One set of (a) padded armor or (b) chain mail - (a) Two daggers or (b) five javelins - (a) an artisan's tools, (b) theives tools, (c) musical instrument - (a) An Explorer's Pack or (b) a Scholar's Pack - (a) A trinket from home and a hunting knife or (b) a set of artisans tools \page ### Child of Magic Starting at level one you begin to learn the secrets of sculpting mana. You gain mastery over two cantrips from the Cleric, Druid, or Wizard classes. The number of cantrips you know goes up to 3 at level 7, and 4 at level 14. All of these cantrips rely on your Charisma to cast, and use your Charisma modifier to determine Spell Save DC or Spell Attack Bonus. ``` ``` ### Mana Bin Also at level one the mana in your body begins to swell. You materialize a container to place the magic known, as a mana bin. The mana bin fits in your palm and exists in a seperate subspace until you summon it. You can summon and dismiss your mana bin from anywhere. Part of its appearance should reflect the magical catalyst you've chosen, but its other features are completely up to you. You start with 2 mana charges and gain one for each subsequent level you take in this class. You can spend one mana charge to double your movement speed. You cannot spend a mana charge this way again until your next turn. You regain all expended mana charges as part of a short or long rest. If your mana bin is left in the mortal realm while you are unconscious it remains behind for one day unless it is interacted with by you or destroyed. If you die your mana bin dissapates and the magic within returns to rest with mana. ### Magical Catalyst Starting at level two you begin to coexist with the invisible energies which surround you, as constant exposure to mana begins to morph your body, mind, and soul. Your magic is yours and yours alone, the form it takes is less dependent on rituals, spells, or components, instead it syncs with your personality and emotional state. An arcane vessel doesn't need to cast or chant in order to alter the world, and are often willful and mindful creatures. Choose one of the Magical Catalysts towards the end of this class description to decide how you do so. Understand that these determine not only how you display your power, but also what elements you attract and who you will grow to be. ### Way of the World At level two you begin tapping into the divine consciousness of the realm. As you learn to expand your control over mana, your sesnes begin to heighten and you gain expertise in perception checks, if not already an expert. Also any attacks made with a non-magical weapon you’re proficient with can rely on your Charisma modifier instead of Strength or Dexterity for the attack and damage rolls. \page ### Spellbinder Also, starting at level two the energies of the world mix with your mana as it begins morphing your soul. When you gain the ability to cast spells as described in the chart at the beginning of the class description. You use your Charisma for any spellcasting DC or Bonus. You regain spell slots as part of a short rest. In addition, you manifest a private astral plane that is 5 cubic feet. Inside that astral plane there is a construct that can be of size small or medium. As long as your mana bin is connected to the construct that construct gains consciousness and becomes your Spellbinder. It is not capable of causing harm or being hurt. You can spend a bonus action on your turn influencing your spellbinder to bestow a help action. You can also use a bonus action to gather mana. If it does, you roll a d4 and recover that many mana charges. It can only use *gather mana* a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per rest. Spellbinder's are able to double as catalogues which house all of your vessel inscriptions and assists in exploration and combat. You can manifest the spellbinder in a 5 foot space as long as you can see it. Keep in mind your Spellbinder is heavily influenced by the Magical Catalyst you chose at level one and it's abilities and appearance should reflect this. The additional features below describe what unique abilities a spellbinder gains from each catalyst. Each of the abilities below can be used as the SpellBinder's reaction at the cost of one mana charge. - **Infinite** All Mother's Ward: You warp time and space, to weave or shred attacks from foes. Add your proficiency bonus to the saving throws of 3 creatures within 15ft of you. - **Unbroken** Tahgren's Favor: A firm stance and an unshakable will burn brightly within you and your spellbinder reflects it. If a spell is cast which would damage any creatures within 15ft of you gain additional armor (AC) equal to your proficiency modifier **or** reduce the spell save DC by your proficiciency modifier. - **Resolute** Lifeline: When there is no way, make one. When all hope is lost, be the spark which lights the path forward. When you or a creature you can see fails a death saving throw it can ignore the result on the dice. This includes if a creature is struck while unconscious. \page ### Primal Root At level three you begin comprehending the core energies forming the backbone of your world. Your Magical Catalyst morphs once more and forms a Primal Root. Your Magical Catalyst lists two options to choose from. Pick one.

### Ether Furnace In addition at level three, as your Arcane Vessel begins to come alive it crafts an Ether Furnace. With your Ether Furnace you begin to reduce, reuse, and recyle the energies within. As such you can now restore a spell slot to a creature, weapon, or wand by converting the mana charges equal to double the level of the spell slot. You can use this feature a number of times equal to half your level in this Class (rounded down) before taking a rest. ### Vessel Inscriptions Lastly, you begin compiling magical effects unique to you. Your vessel's inscriptions get placed in your Spellbinder. Choose three from the list of Inscriptions at the end of this class description. This number of Inscriptions you know goes up to five at level seven, six at level ten, eight at level thirteen, and eleven with the Energy Dome ability at level eighteen. ``` ``` ### Ability Score Improvement At level four you gain an ability score improvement. You gain another at levels 8, 12, & 16. You may choose to gain a Feat through the optional feat rule, please consult your DM/GM for more. ### Empowered Will Starting at level 5 all attacks made with a non-magical weapon you wield automagically gain the benefits of the 2nd level spell, Magic Weapon. The attack must be made with a weapon you have proficiency with. ### Resting State Starting at level six your body has adapted to ward off foreign viruses or bacteria and you are immune to non-magical disease and poison of any kind. In addition you only need to sleep for 4 hours to gain the benefit of a long rest. You may also take a short rest in 10 minutes. ### Satori In addition upon reaching sixth level you recieve a sudden enlightenment and gain control over the forces that nuture your Primal Root, giving you damage resistances based on which Root you chose at level three. ##### Primal Root Resistances | Primal Root | Damage Type | |:----:|:-------------| | Time | Radiant, Acid | | Space | Necrotic, Force | | Friction | Fire, Lightning | | Absorption | Slashing, Piercing | | Reflection | Cold, Psychic | | Repulsion | Bludgeoning, Thunder | \page ### Voice of the Realms Starting at level 7 you have no problems being understood by any creature with 6 or more intelligence, and have advantage on Charisma (Persuasion, Intimidation, Deception) checks made against creatures with an Intelligence score of 11 or lower. In addition, you may expend a mana charge as a reaction on your turn to speak directly to the channels of mana, the effect of which changes depending on what primal root you chose at level three. The effects described last for ten minutes or until used. - ***Chronal Cant.*** You alter the flow of time and prepare to ward yourself against oncoming physical threats. You or one allied creature you can see may add +6 to the next Str, Dex, or Con saving throw they make. - ***Shatter Space.*** Your voice has the ability to rend the flow of magic with but a whisper. The next time a creature you can see cast a spell, you may spend a reaction to cause a -6 from their next spell attack or spell save DC. - ***Doctrine of the Dragon.*** You bolster yourself or your allies, granting unbelievable luck. The next attack roll that creature rolls scores a critical if the result on the d20 is 14 or higher. - ***Latent Life.*** You now speak with the wisdom of druids and have learned how to call upon nature for protection. You add +6 to the AC of one creature you can see. - ***Frost Fang.*** A chill erupts from your core as your shout targets an opponents very soul. You deal 2d6 pyschic damage to one creature you can see. - ***Boom Burst.*** The air around you quakes. Your voice is projected in a 100ft radius as you force any hostile creatures within a 30ft radius centered on you to make a charisma saving throw against your save DC. On a failed save the creatures are incapacitated until the end of their next turn. ### Cleansing Veil Starting at level 9 your resting state brings peace and wellbeing to those around you. When a willing creature gets within 15ft of you can attempt to purge them of a lesser curse, disease, or lesser poison. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. ``` ``` ### Super-Natural Presence At level 10 being around you exposes mortals to a presence of will not unlike powerful Fey-kin or Elementals. Your aura bolsters your allies and supresses your foes. The form your aura takes is determined by the Magical Catalyst you chose at level one. All of the aura listed last for 10 minutes and can be recovered on a rest. ##### Infinite - Master of Mind As a being who has understood the laws of Space and Time you now view the world in profound and complex ways. Spend 6 mana charges as a bonus action to shift the laws of motion. An 80ft cube of warped space appears at a point you specify within 30ft of you. Any creature that moves into your area for the first time or starts its turn in your area must make a Charisma Saving Throw. On a failed save the creature moves with half movement speed and has to roll a d8 to determine which way they have moved (d8=1-North,2-South,3-East,4-West, 5-Northwest, 6-Northeast,7-Southwest,8-Southeast). They believe they have moved closer to you until they can save against your Save DC. However any allied creatures (up to 10 which you designate) wihtin the cube, aren't forced to save against you, gain +15 movement speed, and have a bonus equal to your Charisma modifier on dexterity checks while inside. ##### Unbroken - Bulwark of the Body Spend 6 mana charges as a bonus action to give three creatures you choose +3 to their Strength, Constituion, or Dexterity Modifier. You can only bestow one type of ability modifier per ability. For example, if you give a barbarian the Strength boost you cannot give the same stat to the Archer. Note that this bonus can include you. Any creature enhanced this way is resistance to becoming stunned or restrained, and cannot roll below a 10 on a saving throw of the ability bestowed while enhanced with the Bulwark of the Body feature. ##### Resolute - Sanctum of Soul Spend 6 mana charges as a bonus action to create a 40 ft sphere of fog centered on you. Creatures inside of the fog gain 8d10. This space cannot be seen through, except by the creatures it protects, as a dense fog obscures them from view. The fog then spreads thin which creates a soul stratus. In exchange for a lack of healing property, a soul stratus covers each of allies you chose to designate, allowing them to perfectly camoflauge. At the end of their turn, roll a d20 to see if they a fully hidden or not. On a result of 10 or lower they remain visible. On a result of 11 or higher they disappear and cannot be targeted directly by an attack. A creature obscured like this can still be hit by things which target a wide area, such as fireball. Once hit, the stratus vanishes. \page ### Kensho At level 11 you gain another feature from your Primal Root. ### Bodhi Form At level 13 your form begins to rival that of minor celestials. You can now permanently breathe underwater and in zero atmosphere. In addition, you gain magical resistance as long as you still have mana charges. ### Flying Nimbus At level 14 you gain access to your personal cloud carriage. At the end of a long rest you can spend 1 hour and 6 mana charges to create a Flying Nimbus. The Nimbus can comfortably support 1 large creature, 8 medium creatures, 16 small creatures, or 32 tiny creatures. Its carrying weight is equal to your charisma score multiplied by your level in this class. It has hit points equal to half of yours, a flying speed of 180ft, and an AC equal to your 7+ your proficiency modifier. You can have a maximum of 2 flying nimbus at a time. Once created the nimbus remains in existance until you banish it or it is destroyed. While you are riding the Nimbus you have complete control over all flight movements unless otherwise told by the dm. If you are not the one piloting the nimbus you can command to go to a specific location you have been to before or to hover in place. ``` ``` ### Mystic Mansion Also at level 14 something has developed on your private plane of existence... You now have the ability to create a portal to an extradimensional dwelling that has appeared in your private plane. Your furnance is a part of the dwelling in some way. You and any number of creatures you designate may enter the space, any creatures that leave must recieve permission to reenter unless using force. You may open the portal to your mansion at any point by spending one minute preparing to rip a hole in space and time. >*Note* You have control over the portal's aesthetics: color, texture. is something you have control over. It could be a door, a lemon that splits in half, a skull with fangs. However it can only fit creatures size Huge and smaller. The mansion itself is also stylized as you see fit, but can only accomodate creatures size Huge or smaller. Entering the portal reveals a foyer with numerous chambers beyond, the layout of which you are encouraged to arrange. You can create any floor plan you like, but the space can't exceed 25 cubes, each cube being 10 feet on each side. The mansion is furnished and decorated as you choose. It contains sufficient food to serve a nine course banquet for up to 50 people. A staff of 50 near-transparent servants attends to the needs of all who enter, and will not perform any requests which harm their creator, deeds of ill itent, or actions which broach evil allignments. You decide the way these servants manauver, and how, or if, they communicate and what languages they know. You may also select their attire. They are completely obedient to your orders and each servant can perform any task an able bodied human servant could, but again they will not Attack or take any action that would directly harm another creature. Thus the servants can fetch things, clean, mend, fold clothes, light fires, serve food, pour wine, and so on. The servants can go anywhere in the mansion but can't leave it and take no damage unless banished from their plane of existence. You may designate private sections of the mansion which they cannot enter by speaking a command to one of them. The atmosphere and aesthetics is set to whatever you choose to set it to be. The mansion can be tropical and warm, or an icy escape fit for the winter queen herself. \page ### Astral Furniture Furniture created using the Mystic Mansion feature is the only object that can leave the space described in the feature. Any furniture you create using the Mansion is considered an improvised, simple, magical weapon with the thrown, and versitile properties. It uses a 1d6 for damage rolls. In addition you gain proficiency with improvised weapons and can make an unarmed strike as a bonus action as part of your attack action. Lastly, when a creature is struck with a piece of your astral furniture you may expend a mana charge to roll a break die which adds 4d6 to the damage roll as the furniture shatters and shrapnel burrows into the target. You can creature furniture as a bonus action. Any items created using this feature dissapear when broken or you move more than 100 feat away. ### Zen By level seventeen achieving a consitent state of mind is second nature. You've reached the pinnacle of control over your Primal Root and Mana Bin. It fully forms the Mystic Mansion in your private realm and doubles its size, food capacity, and servant totals. ### Energy Dome Starting at level 18 you can spend 5 mana charges to create a 100 ft sphere of violent surging magical energy centered on a point of your choosing within 30 ft of you. Any creature caught inside the sphere must make a Charisma Saving throw against your save DC as they are shredded by pure power. Any creature that fails takes 30 damage and half as much on a success. ### Energy Incarnate At level 20 your body, mind, and soul have been thoroughly drenched in magic, making you into a miniture power plant. When using the Arcane Furnaces ability to restore a spell slot of fifth level or lower you no longer require double the spell slot level. In addition when you restore a spell slot of 6 level or higher whoever/whatever recovers that spell slot gains one free cast of a spell from a lower level. \page ## Magical Vessel Your Arcane Vessel determines how and where you begin to store the exccess of mana particles you absorb. There are currently three Catalyst to choose from: Infinite, Unbroken, & Resolute. ## Infinite Vessel The arcane catalyst of your mind process the laws and bounderies of Space and Time, allowing them to perform superb calculations in seconds, or enable their body to push past its limits for amazing feats of Dexterity. Infinite mana frequently forms from cantrips, the blood or energies of organically magical creatures, and enchantments. They make phenomonal artificers, detectives, and theives. #### Stalwart Mind An infinite vessel is able to connect to the weave and anticipate attacks or incoming harm. At level one you gain proficiency in Dexterity saving throws. #### Temporal Map Maker Also, as the arcane mind keeps a detailed map of the logistics of the world. They are able to keep perfect track of what time it is no relative to how much time has passed since their last long rest. They are able to plot positions in detail in their mind, aiding them in combat. You gain an additional 15ft of movement speed as long as you still have mana charges. In addition, you gain half your proficiency bonus to AC do not run out of mana points. #### Extreme Genius Starting at level 6 they can boost their ability scores in Intelligence and Dexterity past 20 to a max of 26. Additionally if you roll a nat one on a skill check or attack roll you can treat it as if you rolled a 20. You gain extra attack as part of an attack action. #### Mind of Enchantment At level 17 as part of the Zen feature you gain the ability to enchant any of your Vessel Modules into an object worth at least 100 GP. You can have a number of active enchantments equal to your Intelligence Modifer.

### Root of Time #### Chrono Gaze You peek through the viel of time at the end of a long rest, you gain the benefits of the spell Augury. You can ask one question in regards to an event or action from your recent past or near future and your DM must respond in a way listed on the augury spell chart. In addition you can roll d20 equal to your proficiency modifier, you get to keep that result and may use any time in the next 24 hours to replace one of your attack rolls or saving throws. #### Time Warden Starting at level 11 your insights into the immiterial plane level sages of old. You can no longer die of old age. Your age cannot be shifted by magical means. In addition you can spend 10 minutes to create a save point at the time you are currently at. If you do, a portion of your soul will return back to that exact time period if you are ever killed. As soon as your soul returns you must roll 1d20 and refer to the chart below to see how many of your memories remain. As you are creating your save point you can choose to make a journal detailing the events of your life up until this point in a magically invisble ink that normally only you can see. If you read that journal within 24 hours after you return to a save point you regain any and all memories you had lost prior. Be warned that time is fickle, and altering major events on a timeline will adjust the course the future is set to. To translate: if your character dies and the rest of your party out lives you, returning to the past and attempting to alter your death will create a alternate universe you cannot return to. If your entire party dies, or all players present are aware of your ability to regress prior to your death you may be able to alter this future by using the save point ability. | Result | Memory Loss | |:----:|:-------------| | 1-10 | You retain all of the events of the previous day and all details you normally keep memorized | | 11-15 | You have forgotten things like, what day it is and whatever it was you were doing the day before | | 16-18| You struggle with flashbacks and bits and pieces of information people you know remain. You retain your skill proficiencies and tool kits, but lose any language but common. | ### Root of Space Children using the Root of Space understand that they are but one magical frog in the bottom of a bigger magical well. They use the weight of their to fell foes quicker. They also begin to rip through the layers that form the realm to defend or travel. #### One Shade, Twelve Shadows At third level you can now spend a reaction when a creature targets you with an Attack to become a fog of purple smoke and add 5 to your armor class. Once in this form it lasts for a minute. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma Modifier. #### Nether Walk At level 11 you become one with the darkness around you. You can now spend 1 minute to melt into a nearby shadow to travel. While in this form you can only be damaged by radiant energy. Your movement speed becomes 60ft. You can teleport to the shadow of any object, building, or large organism whose precise location you know. You must have stepped on that shadow prior. \page ## Unbroken Vessel The Unbroken Vessel is a beacon of superb feats of might. Your body becoming an immovable object means you gain access to the primal roots of absorbtion and repulsion. Shining examples of Unbroken Vessels include notable demi-gods or even giant-kin. They store the damage they recieve and convert it to power. Unbroken mana circulates around mythcal events, divine acts, or ancient objects. #### Unbreakable Form A being with a font of magic that cannot be broken can bodies more durable than mythril at the peak of power. The Unbroken Vessel gains 2 additional hit points at level one and begins to roll 1d10 for hit points in this class for every level after first. Also, when rolling to recover hit points using hit dice you now roll 1d10. Lastly, you gain Unarmored Defense equal to 10+Con Mod+Cha Mod. #### Splinter Force In addition, when you strike a foe with a successful weapon attack you can expend one mana charge to deal an additional 1d8 force damage and then knock them prone **or** force them backwards 10 ft. #### Monstrous Might The Unbroken Vessel can boost their power and stamina without fear of usual limits. Starting at level 6 you can increase your ability scores in Constitution and Strength past 20 to a max of 26. #### World Breaking Strength At level 17 you can spend half your mana charges to double your Strength and Constitution score for 10 minutes. After using this ability you must expend all remaining mana charges (min of 1) or fall unconscious for 1d10 days. ### Root of Absorbtion #### Gaia Shield At level 3 you can spend a mana charge as a reaction to create a shield of stone, dirt, or other natural material to protect a creature you can see. When a creature you can see within 30 feet of you is targeted with an attack you can add your Charisma Modifier + 3 to their AC. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier per day. #### Rage of the Earth At level 11 you can draw in minerals, tree roots, or stones and change your form to that of a large creature. While this size you can add an additional 1d6 to your attack rolls made with a melee weapon. You cannot be knocked prone. While in this form you gain resistance to all but psychic, force, and thunder damage.

### Root of Repulsion #### Force of Nature At level 3 you gain the ability to spend 2 mana charges as bonus action to infuse your weapon attacks with magical force. For the next minute all your strikes deal an additional 1d6 force damage. This scales to 2d6 at level 6, and 3d6 at level 11. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier per day. #### Crush, Block, Hurl At level 11 you understand that repulsion at its finest is represented by a constant flow of force against force. You can spend 4 mana charges to form an aura of force energy that manifests as wind or gravity slicing throw the area. The aura takes one of the following effects: Crush- Anything that gets within 5 ft of you must make a Dexterity save throw or recieve 3 d6 force damage. Block- Anything that gets within 5 ft of you must make a Dexterity saving throw or lose their movement speed. Any ranged attack against you are made against 3/4 cover. Hurl- Anything that gets within a 10 ft raidus of you must make a Strength Saving Throw or be shoved back 10 ft. You can point your aura to create a wall of repulsion any creature that fails their save after entering the 20ft straight line of wind is knocked back 20 ft. \page ## Resolute Vessel The Resolute Vessel weaves mana how they see fit. They are the most rare form of vessel but also tend to be the most spectacular to watch fight, as they summon a blade forged of their own being and craft a clone of ice teleporting out of harms way by switching places with it just as the clone detonates in a dazzeling rain of ice shards. Resolute mana is forged in spetacular events, miracles, catastrophe, or extreme wars. Resolute mana is often found in adventerous minds who are nearing a point of death or in critical moments during combat. #### Singularity You are exceedingly aware of your position in the grand conciousness of the universe. As the magic in you binds to your soul, you push beyond the limits of a mere mortal. You can increase your Charisma and Wisdom past 20 to a limit of 26. #### Soul Ordanance The arcane soul can forge a weapon of their spirit as a bonus action. The form the weapon takes is up to you, but needs to be a weapon you've seen. This weapon is magical for the sake of overcoming resistances. If the weapon leaves your hand it can be resummoned once more as a bonus action. #### Unshakable Starting at level 6, it would take more than a bandit to rile you up. At the end of a long rest you recieve a number of soul dice equal to your charisma modifier (1d8). A soul die can be rolled when you or a creature you can see makes an attack roll or saving throw, add/subtract the result from the soul die from the resulting attack or save. #### Divine Insight Starting at level 17 you cannot be charmed, exhausted, blinded, deafened, or frightened. In addition, any time a creature attempts to lie to you they must convince you by rolling a Deception check with a DC equal to your level in this class or have their lie revealed immidietly. ### Root of Friction #### Bond Splitter Comprehending the root of friction adds more potentcy to your swings. Each and every swing you take brings you closer to becoming an unstopable force. Attacks made with a weapon you are proficient in deal an additional damage die on a successful hit. #### Charged Strike At level 11 you can spend 2 mana charges to add 2d6 fire, cold, thunder, or lightning damage everytime you hit someone for one minute.

### Root of Reflection #### Soul Echo At level 3 your soul forms based on the magic from the vessel it is stored in. The root of reflection allows you to spend an action to create a clone made of non-volitile or corrosive: gas, liquid, or a frozen. The clone appears at a point you can see within 30 ft of you. Any creature that sees you spawn the clone is fully aware that you spawned it, but any creature that isn't aware of your presence fully believes that the clone is you without making an investigation check against your spell save DC. While maintaining concentration on the clone you can spend a bonus action command it to move or make an improvised action but it cannot lift anything over 10 pounds. The clone has a movement speed equal to half of your and cannot move further than 20ft away from you. You can spend a bonus action to swap positions with the clone. If you swap positions, if you chose to detonate, or if the clone is succesfully hit by an attack or spell it explodes, in a 10ft cube centered on where the clone was, and deals 3d4 bludgeoning(solid), piercing(gas), or slashing (liquid) damage based on the structure of your clone. #### Form Avatar At level 11 everytime you create a clone using the Soul Echo feature it now can last for 1 hour. If you chose to you may transfer your conciousness to the soul echo entirely, this would leave behind any equipment left on the original body. You original body appears unconcious as long as you are away from it. If you are struck while piloting the Soul Echo it still will detonate and your soul would be shot back to your body with force. You may also call your body to your soul as an action. At the end of your ten minutes the Avatar would fade and your soul would transfer back to your original body. \page ## Inscriptions All of the inscriptions below are the result of developing runes on your arcane furnace that charge the mana you store with varying affects. If an inscription has the word *requirement* (like so) at the end of its description, you must meet the ones listed to use it. In some cases certain inscriptions will require a different inscription to use. In any cases where there is a DC to be rolled or it says "spell save DC" it uses the formula 8+your Charisma Modifier+your proficiency modifier. ##### Store Fury Using the mana stored in your body, you dish out more damage than you take. You may spend 3 mana charges as an action to touch a creature forcing them to roll a charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. Creatures that fail take the difference between your current HP and your Maximum in force damage. You can use this feature 1 time per long rest. *Requirement Unbroken Vessel, Root of Absorbption Level 6* ##### Alphy's Wicked Wind As an action you spend 2 mana charges to summon the aura of the Fey King Alphy, creating a 40 foot cube of rainbow color mist that only you see. Any creature in the mist may roll a charisma save against your save DC to attempt and detect the mist. If they succeed they are immune to any of the affects of the mist. The mist can have three effects. Choose one to use when you first summon it. - 1. Any creatures in the mist that have failed their save have their true form revealed before you. - 2. Any creatures in the mist who have failed their save are stuck in 40 foot cube of illusion as they are charmed. They believe they are either moving through that same space but have not moved at all. he area has changed until they try to leave it. They can attempt to comprehend the illusion as an Investigation check against your Save DC. In combat this is one Action. - 3. Any creatures in the mist that failed their save suffers a -5 to any and all attack rolls and suffer a -1 to AC. *Requirements Level 6, Root of Repulsion* ##### Anti-Magic Missle When a creature you can see within 30 ft of you makes a ranged spell attack you can spend a reaction and one mana charge to roll 2d4 + half of your Arcane Vessel level to counter the spell. If you negate the damage from the spell, the spell fails. ##### Countermagic Rocket You can spend a reaction and mana charges equal to the level of the spell cast to craft one anti-magic missle to negate the casting of a spell within 60 ft of you. A mage targeting this ability with counterspell has a DC equal to the amount of mana charges spent + 11. *Requirements Infinite Vessel, Level 11* ##### Armor of Ke'Lahna You spend one mana charge as an action to create a set of magical shimmering armor that covers you, protecting you from damage. While wearing this armor your AC is calculated by adding 13+your Charisma modifier. In addition as long as you don this armor you gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage that isn't magical. This armor lasts for one hour. You can use this one time per short rest. *Requirement Resolute Vessel* ##### Become Animal You can change your form into that of a creature up to CR 2 rating, that is size medium or lower once per short rest. *Requirements Level 6, Resolute Vessel, Root of Reflection* ##### Bombard You can spend one action to cast catapult at 1st level using 1 mana charge. *Requirements Root of Repulsion* ##### Bolster Self You gain a permanent +1 to your AC as long as you have this inscription. ##### Call the Fallen Using 3 mana charges allows you to rip through the Veil and contact the fell grove. You summon the voice of a spirit that died in a 2 mile radius within the last 24 hours. This spirit remembers at minimum the general area where their corpse was before they died. In the event that there are wraith or vengeful spirits in the area, they may be lured if they were created within the last 24 hours. In the event you are wary of woeful wicked souls, you may roll a DC 13 wisdom saving throw to target a specific creature. *Requirements Level 6 Resolute Vessel* ##### Charm Animals You gain the benefits of the Animal Friendship and Speak with animal spells at 1st level using one mana charge. ##### Daon's Flames You conjure flames akin of the sun god ruling the heavens of Aquarius, Daon. These flames scorch the structure of enemies, corroding their life force from the inside out. You can target one creature you see within 60 ft of you. That target must make a Dex Saving Throw *Requirements Root of Friction* ##### Squall You can cast gust of wind a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier per short rest. *Requirement Root Repulsion* ##### Honey'd Words When rolling a Charisma check to convince or mislead (Persuassion or Deception) you can treat a result of 9 or lower as 10. **Madness** \page ##### Blessing of the Swift Spend 1 mana charge. You or a target within 60ft of you can add your proficiency modifier to their initative for 1 hour. ##### Treasure Sense You can spend one mana charge to attempt to detect gold, silver, platinum, electrum, or other rare ores nearby. You know the general vicinity of any items, large piles or sacks of coins, or ore viens as a result of this sense. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per short rest. *Requirement Root of Absorbtion* ##### Wizard Eyes You gain 30 ft of true darkvision if you don't already have it. You can spend one mana charge to grant yourself true sight and blindsense in a 30 ft range for one minute. *Requirement Infinite Vessel, Root of Space, Level 6* ##### Wind Sickle Spend two mana charges as you swing your arm or legs and form a wind sickle with a spell attack range of 120 feet that does 2d8 wind damage on a successful spell attack hit. *Requirement Root of Repulsion* ##### Chrono Shift You can spend 3 mana charges during combat and shift the tempo of allies and foes offense. You can target one creature, they must make a Charisma Save against your spell save DC. A willing creature doesn't have to make the save. A creature that fails the save is shifted by 1d4 up or down in the initiative order. *Requirement Infinite Vessel, Root of Time* ##### Frictionless Movement You can now take a bonus action dash on you turn. In addition you can spend 2 mana charge to double your movement speed for one minute. *Requirements Root of Friction* ##### Relentless Warrior You can spend 3 mana charges to gain the effects of the haste spell. *Requirements level 6* ##### Comet Slice You slow the flows of time. When you succesfully hit a creature with a weapon attack you can expend 2 mana charge to hit that creature a number of times equal to the number of mana charges you expend. *Requirements Unbroken Vessel or Infinite Vessel or Root of Time or Root of Friction, Level 12* ##### Big Weapon Spending two mana charges converts your soul ordanance's size to that of a larger weapon. Melee weapons gain an additional reach of 5t, while ranged weapons use their maximum range listed with no disadvantage. Weapons maid this way gain an additional 1d6 weapon damage on a succesful hit. *Requirements Resolute Vessel* ##### Bigger Weapon When you summon your soul ordanance using Big Weapon you can spend three instead of two mana charges to make it a bigger weapon than before. Melee weapons gain an additional 10 ft of reach, while weapons with the ranged or thrown properties use double their maximum range. In addition, any weapon summoned this way gains an additional 2d6 weapon damage + the 1d6 from the Big Stick inscription. *Requirements Resolute Vessel, Level 10 Inscription: Big Weapon* ##### Biggerest Weapon Now when you summon your soul Ordanace using the Big Weapon feature you can spend a total of 4 mana charges and transform it into a massive weapon (size large for scale) for 10 minutes. The ordanance must be summoned using the *Biggerest Weapon* inscription your weapon must be a melee weapon. You have no difficulties swinging this weapon and wield it as if it was part of your body. As part of the bonus action used to summon your weapon make an attack roll, that attack roll then becomes the dexterity save DC for any creatures in range. Depending on the type of damage done on a successful hit your attack gains the following benefits. - Slashing - your attack targets a single location and extends 30ft in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line in the direction you attacked. - Piercing - your attack targets a single creature, and then rips a hole in a 20 ft straight line on the angle you attacked. - Bludgeoning - your attack targets a single creature or a single spot on a surface you can see. If your attack hits the ground or floor, the terain is splintered under the weight of your weapon and becomes difficult terrain. Any creature in a 20ft radius of your attack must make a dexterity saving throw. Any that fails their save is knocked prone. Weapons created this way gain a +2 to attack and damage rolls, and have 20ft of additional range. *Requirements Resolute Vessel, Level 11* ##### Echoes from the All Mother The mana in your body has gifted you the ability to percieve realms other than your own with ease. Forcing this onto other may give a target creature more grief. You touch one target, and force their mind to ascend the layers introducing them to the glory and horror of the realms beyond. That creature must make a charisma saving throw or take 8d8 psychic damage as their mind is forcibly projected around the cosmos. *Requirement Infinite Vessel or Resolute Vessel* ##### Hunter's Sight By spending one mana charge you gain 180 ft of darkvision and can see half a mile around you with extreme detail as if it was 100ft away when in daylight. This effect lasts until you take a rest. *Requirement Infinite Vessel* \page ##### Realm Skipper You gain the ability to astral project by spending 1 minute meditating uninterrupted. Your body remains in the realm you began your trip in. Unless you have taken the Infinite Vessel, in which case your body, mind, and soul all come with you and you open a portal into the ethereal. If you are an Infinite Vessel who has understood the Root of Space you can bring 5 willing creatues through the portal as well. *Requirement Level 11* ##### Time Tunnel Spend 3 mana charges to create a 10ft diameter cylander that projects specific events on repeat. These events can be something from your memories or something you imagine, but should be realistic enough to seem plausible for the creature experiencing them (otherwise the ability will be seen through). Any creature moving through the tunnel must make an intelligence saving throw or be trapped in the tunnel until they do. Any creatures trapped in a time tunnel this way has no idea they are until something that deviates from the originally laid course of events occurs. *Requirements Root of Time* ##### Cantrip Master You can spend one mana charge to speed up your mind's spell casting calculations, allowing you to enter a spell casting Zen. You can cast a cantrip as an attack action, allowing you to cast it twice as part of an attack action. *Requirements Infinite Vessel* ##### All Star You can spend one mana charge to gain expertise with one musical instument, one tool kit, one language, and one vehicle of your choice. ##### Bash Strike When making an attack action with a two handed weapon you can expand one mana charge to subtract 5 from the Attack roll, if you do and still hit the target creature, add 2 to the damage roll and you launch them by 15ft in a direction of your choosing as they fall prone. There is no save for this ability. *Requirements Root of Repulsion* ##### Viel of Gaia You now have the ability to blend completely in with trees of size large or higher unless the tree is magical. If you would like to use the ability to walk through trees it would cost you 6 mana charges to travel between two tree trunks located up to 500 miles apart. *Requirements Root of Absorbtion, Level 11* ##### Empty Body You can turn your body into a shimmering fog that has a fly speed of 30ft and cannot be touched. It takes you 1 minute to morph your form and costs 6 mana charges. While in this form you can attempt to choke a creature that relies on brething by forcing a Con save against your spell save DC. *Requirements Resolute Vessel*

##### Eye of Misharane You cannot be put to sleep by magial or non magical means. You require no sleep and only need to meditate for four hours to complete a long rest and while you sleep you can choose to shift your conciousness to the front of your mind entering a trance like state. *Requirement Infinite Vessel* ##### Shiraih's Crown You gain one cast of Crown of Madness at the cost of 2 mana charges. ##### Harlock's Grip You cloak an enemy in a wall of invisble, magical static that clings to their form. They must make a Dex Save against your spell save DC or be trapped on their current plane of existence. Until they save against your DC their movement speed becomes 0 and they cannot concentrate spells. ##### Magic Ward Your abitlity to influence the weave is something of second nature. When you or a target you can see that is within 60 ft of you becomes the target of a spell, you can spend up to 6 mana charges to substract the total number of charges from the spell save DC or the spell attack roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to half of your class level (ie 4 times at level 9). *Requirements Root of Repulsion, Level 9* ##### Combo Master When you succesfully hit a target creature with a melee or ranged attack roll using a weapon, or weapons, you are proficient with, you can spend a bonus action and one mana point to start a combo chain. If you do the creature you've hit has a spectral number that appears (on or around them) showing how many hits have been landed. Only you can see this number unless you choose to make it visable for others. For each hit you land on a creature after the turn you start the chain you can extend the chain spending one mana charge. As a part of a bonus action you can choose to close the chain, forcing the creature to make a charisma save set at hen you run out of charges or store a maximum of 10 hits the chain is closed and any creatures hit must make a save. You can use this feature a number of times equal to 1/3 of your class level; once at level 3, twice at level 6, thrice at level 9, 4 times at level 12, 5 at level 15, and the upper limit being six times per rest at level 18. ##### Aura of a Ruler You gain expertise on any charisma based skill checks against a creatures with a lower Charisma modifier/score than you. **Note** You do not learn the creatures Charimsa modifier or score. *Requirements Root of Reflection* ##### Hermes' Gale You gain 15 feet of movement. *Requirement Root of Repulsion* ##### Nimble Duelist You can summon two weapons with Soul Ordance if you have the Resolute Vessel. When dual-wielding two weapons with the light or finesse propeties you can add +2 to your AC. \page ##### Gravity Well You gain the ability to spend a reaction to summon a forcefield of gravity. You can designate up to 6 creatures that are immune before using this feature. Any creatures within a 30 ft radius of you must make a charisma saving throw or be under the affect of one of the following: Fall- You cause any creatures who fail to lose their movement speed and fall prone for one full round. Repel- You hurl any creatures who failed 15 ft backwards in a direction opposite you. If they hit an object before they land they take 1d6 impact damage. Lift- Any creatures who failed their save are stuck under the effects of the spell levitate for one full round of combat, and hover 5ft off of the ground. *Requirement Root of Repulsion, Root of Space* ##### Hollow-Point Slice You can spend two mana charges to remove any and all friction in an area around your weapon. This gives it a plus 5 to the attack roll. You must be weilding a light or finesse weapon to use this. *Requirement Root of Friction* ##### Ikazuchi no Keisei By spending 4 mana charges as an action you can create a field of lightning rifling down from above in a 5ft cube centered on yourself. You cannot be harmed by the lightning that forms as a result of this array, and there is no instance of thunder when the lightning crashes. For the next ten minutes whenever you make a melee attack roll against a creature you can see you can force them to roll a dexterity saving throw. If they fail they take 2d4 lightning damage if your attack hits and half as much if it misses. You cannot take opportunity attacks while the array is set up. This form lasts ten minutes. You can use this ability once per rest. *Requirements Resolute Vessel or Root of Friction, Level 6* ##### Natsu no Keisei By spending 4 mana charges as an action you can create a field of magma and flame spouts centered around your feet that takes up a 5ft cube. You cannot be harmed by the magma or the flames and when you move there is no lasting damage on the area you were in, should you chose. The array of heat and rock allows you use an attack action on your turn to launch a heat flume in a 10ft line directly in front of you. This should be treated as an attack roll against the AC of any creatures in range. A creature hit by an attack this way takes 2d6 fire and 1d6 magical bludgeoning damage and must roll a dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. This lasts ten minutes. You can use this ability once per rest. *Requirements Resolute Vessel or Root of Friction, Level 6*

##### Fuyu no Keisei By spending 4 mana charges as an action you can create a field of icy cold and frigid winds in a 10ft cube around you. As an attack action on your turn you can hurl a blizzard at a creature you can see. This is treated as a melee attack roll, with a weapon you are proficient with that has a reach of 15ft centered on you. Any creature hit with a hailstorm takes 3d8 cold damage must make a constistution saving throw or lose half their movement speed for one round. This lasts ten minutes. You can use this ability once per rest. *Requirements Resolute Vessel or Root of Friction or Root of Repulsion* ##### Garuda Flight You mimic the magical flying powers of the Garuda. Spending 4 mana charges as an action grants you 40 ft of flying speed. *Requirements Root of Repulsion, Level 6* ##### True Garuda Flight You fully master the divine bird's magical flying ability. Spending 4 mana charges now allows you to fly great distances in seconds. Your flying speed is increased to 180 ft when using your garuda sight. *Requirements Garuda Flight, Level 12* ##### Minor Illisionist You gain the ability to cast the spell minor illusion by spending one mana charge. ##### Gloth's Bound When you summon your soul echo you can extend the area in which it can appear. Now you can summon it up to 120ft away from you in at point you can see. *Requirements Root of Reflection* ##### Tahagren's Soul Clone Art When you summon your soul echo you can now summon an addtional 2 clones. These clones are hollow and deal no damage when they explode, but do still burst when you swap positions or if they are damaged. *Requirements Root of Reflection* ##### Douma's Soul Clone Art You can add your charisma modifier to any creatures hurt when your soul clone detonates. *Requirement Root of Reflection* ##### Hargan's Maw You can spend 6 mana charges to connect this plane to the 9 hells, allowing you to rely on the strength of the guard of Yavideus. One creature you touch must make a charisma saving throw or be ripped from this plane into the custody of Hargan and take 10d10 psychic damage as their body is ripped through hell. *Requirement Infinite Vessel, Root of Space, Level 12* \page ##### Relentless When you recieve damage that would knock you below one hit point in a single attack you can spend 2 mana charges to stave off the blow and retain 1 hp after being dropped below 0. You can use this inscription 2 times per day. *Requirements Unbroken or Resolute Vessel* ##### 3 Dimensional Tracker You mind is magical attuned for the hunt. You can spend one mana point as an action to open a field of investigation that is a 20ft cylander centered on you and visible only to you. As you create the field your passive investigation is temporarily increased by 10. Opening this field allows you to take in information at rapid rates allowing to instantly take note of anything you can see in this area that appears to have been altered recently. This includes things like animals or other creatures leaving tracks in mud or objects that have been moved. While viewing the world in this way you can tell how long it has been since something was altered. For example, a lever that was recently pushed down, or a set of tracks that have been made next to an additional set of prints signifying an ambush. You can also tell which direction a creature is headed without needing an ability check as long as there is evidence of footprints or tracks somewhere in the vicinity. This lasts for 1 minute. *Requirement Infinite Vessel* ##### Semi Permanent Form Your soul is easily bound to your form. If you were to die your body naturally enters stasis, preventing your body or the timeline for spells such as Revivify or Resurection, to ever expire. Meanwhile your soul enters a ghostly form and is able to move around in a 30 ft cube centered on your body. While in ghost form you cannot interract with any objects or creatures and cannot commit possessions. Your form phases through 5 inches of metal, 1 foot of stone, and 10 ft of wood. *Requirements Root of Time or Root of Reflection* ##### Permanance Optional You can spend 3 mana charges and 10 minutes to seperate your soul from your body. If you do your spectral form gains a flying speed of 80 feet. You can only be seen by creatures or magical effects that ignore invisiblity. You can interact with objects by spending an action to blend its permanance. In addition you can spend an additional 3 mana charges to possess a corpse or doll like object. While in possession your HP becomes 1 and your AC 10 plus your charisma modifier. While in possessing an object or corpse you can take actions but cannot attack or cast spells. If you are dropped to 0 hit points your soul is forcibly returned to your body. You can spend an action to return to your body. You can use this feature once per long rest. *Requirements Semi Permanent Form, Level 12*

##### Destruction Lotus Spending all your remaining mana charges as an attack action allows you to unleash the full force of the fires held wihtin your arcane furnace. Chose a loaction within 30 ft of you. It explodes in 20ft dome of magic, and deals (the total number of mana charges spent)d12 force damage to any creatures in the area who failed a dexterity saving throw against your save DC. YOu can use this ability once per long rest. *Requirements Infinite Vessel or Resolute Vessel, level 18* ##### One Face Many Forms You can cast polymorph on your self without using mana or a spell slot, once per long rest. It stays above ground as long as it has a creature pinned, and burrows underground until you make it attack a creature within 20ft of you as part of your bonus action. *Requirements Root of Absorbtion* ##### Six Shades of the Gloom Court While in your haze form from the One Shade, Twelve Shadows feature you can spend three mana charges to create 4 shadowy beings. The shades appear centered on you and are size medium; they are arranged in a four point formation with you at the center. These creatures have an AC of 13, 10 hit points, and 10 for all ability scores. These shades can only make opportunity attacks as reactions should a creature move within 5 feet of them. They recieve your proficiency modifier as a bonus to attack rolls and deal 1d4 force damage on a succesful hit. They can make opportunity attacks even if they are disengaged. You gain a swimming speed equal to your movement speed, and the ability to breathe underwater. *Requirement Resolute Vessel* ##### Magical Juggernaut When you are struck by a magical effect or spell damage you can spend a reaction to attempt to absorb any residual mana. When calculating the damage spend a reaction to make a Charisma saving throw set against a DC=to the damage taken, you gain recover one Mana Charge and 1d10 hit points. You cannot use this inscription if at max mana capacity. ##### Sapoh's Guard You can spend 1 mana charge as a reaction to cloak yourself in a wall of organic matter that shields you from ranged attacks. While your leaf guard is up you gain the benefits of 1/2 cover as described in the PHB. *Requirements Root of Absorption* ##### Striking from Shadows As part apearance of the shade form, you can make an attack roll. Every succesful attack you make while in shade form recieves a +5 to the attack roll. *Requirements Root of Space* ##### Brawler You can now spend one mana charge to gain the tavern brawler feat for one hour. In addition you add +2 to any attack and damage rolls done with an improvised weapon. ##### Echo Chamber You can share the senses of your soul echo.
