# Child of Chaos Sometimes the strangeness of the planes and energies of the worlds coalesce into wonderful creatures, amazing devices or interesting people. These entities and creations are usually unique, or resonate so well with the multiverse that they spawn others of themselves, slowly creeping out from their point of origin. You are one of these entities, you were not born in the traditional manner but formed from the magical energies in existence. Something happened and allowed your existence to come into being, be it a wish, a death or an event, you are new and naive, but hold something that needs to be done inside of yourself. **Skill Proficiencies:** Eternally Curious and constantly keeping an eye on new things you gain proficiency with Insight and Investigation. **Tool Proficiencies:** Quick to adapt and learn new things you gain Proficiency with and start with any one Tool that isn’t restricted. **Languages:** Your unique origin leaves you with knowledge of one Exotic Language of your choice, you easily pick up the Common tongue aswell. **Equipment:** You start with one set of Traveling clothes and a simple weapon of choice. ### Spark of Creation Your “Birth” was a confluence of magic and an event that lead to the creation of your sense of self and body in the image of your first ideas. You may after a long rest gain Temporary Proficiency with a skill that is not on your normal list or gains advantage on rolls with that proficiency if you do have it, you may not gain advantage or same proficiency for seven in game days after you have learned it the first time. This proficiency or advantage only lasts one Day or until you have another long rest, whichever is longer. ### Suggested Characteristics Your soul is fresh, your body is magical, you are a construct of magic and will, feelings and stray thoughts. Sorry? *Grimaces*| ### Variant Child of Chaos: Soul Born Your essence is born of chaos, formless and growing, learning and aching to shape itself, your body is a reflection of your soul, and is largely unharmed by the rigors you put it though, Your soul however can easily fall to corruption and illness if someone knows how to manipulate it. **Variant Feature: True Soul, Reflective Vessel** Your body is really more a guideline to your soul, and changes too your soul are more harmful too you then changes or damage too your body. You recover from all disease and illnesses at the end of a long rest, as long as the Disease or Illness does not affect the soul, any illnesses of diseases that affect the soul are twice as effective. Additionally you may alter one aspect of your appearance on each long rest. Appearance changes like this are superficial and often based on the mood of the character at the time.
