>##### The continent of Iteria is a dangerous place, having been risen from the depths of the ocean to serve as a prison, and thus is home to the descendants of some of the most vicious races and peoples known to our kind. I implore you all, do not pursue the knowledge this places holds, as I did, for only death and chaos awaits you. I did not undertake this expedition alone and I wish to acknowledge my apprentices, Arien and Marin, who unfortunately did not make it back. ##### Races and Subraces.

# The Knowing An almost parasitic race, the Knowing is a bug that burrows deep inside a creatures mind, effectively melding to possess it. The Knowing is not your typical parasite, but one that grants the host its knowledge as well as feeding on the hosts knowledge. All Knowing are linked to the Greater Consciousness, a fleshy construct of unknown origin with small puss-like liquid sacks covering the exterior. The Knowing themselves are minute, you'd never even know they existed if I wasn't telling you they do right now... ### The Greater Consciousness The Greater Consciousness is a flesh-crafted construct of unknown origin. It acts as a sort of memory hub for Knowing and births thousands of new Knowing every time one of the puss-like liquid sacks bursts. While the Consciousness is technically alive and all Knowing are connected to it, it has no way of communication, and thus is not able to interfere in the studies of the Knowing, allowing them to seek out their own stories, or library corners. However, the Consciousness reaches out through their link and draws back Knowing who have died in the world, adding their knowledge to it's own for the benefit of all.

#### The Knowing Traits

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Intelligence score increases by 2 and your Strength decreases by 3.

***Age*** It is not commonly known how long the Knowing actually live, as it is difficult to tell a Knowing from a regular person. All that is known is that when a Knowing dies, its memories and experiences are absorbed into a greater consciousness.

***Alignment*** Knowing are seekers of knowledge, looking to learn and study. They tend toward Goodness although that doesn't stop the odd one slipping through. Due to their inquisitive nature, Knowing tend to avoid getting into squabbles of right and wrong, or morality however, so are more likely to be neutral than lawful or chaotic.

***Size*** In your natural state, your size and weight are prectically negligible, that's part of the reason Knowing take a humanoid host body. For your size, see Host Body below.

***Speed*** Your base speed is also related directly to that of the body you inhabit. Your base speed is equal to that of your humanoid host body.

***Humanoid Host*** As a Knowing, you have limited size and protection without a host body. Choose a humanoid race and adopt the size, speed and appearance of that race.

***Collective Knowledge*** Thanks to your link with the Greater Consciousness, you have a neurological archive at your disposal. Gain Proficiency in Hisotry and double your proficiency bonus for checks made with this skill. You also gain proficiency in one other Intelligence skill of your choice. You cannot double your proficiency for that skill unless the ability to do so is aquired by other means.

***Fast Reader*** Regardless of host race, you are exceptionally talented at reading and absorbing information. If you have to take a specified amount of time to read or write something (copying spells for example), you can reduce the time needed by 10 minutes x your proficiency bonus.

***Ancient Scrawl*** The Consciousness prepares you with the tools needed to fit in and find knowledge. You can cast *comprehend languages* and *illusory script* as rituals once each per day with this trait. You must finish a long rest to regain the use of either or both of these.

***Languages*** In their natural society, Knowing communicate telepathically, however while inhabiting a host body, they temporaily give up their telepathy, in echange for instead experiencing one of the languages of the Humanoid host's race.

***Subraces*** There are 2 variants of the Knowing the Consciousness dispatches, they are listed below.

#### Speaker The speaker is a variant of Knowing lending itself more to the discovery of information by discussion and talking, rather than books and lectures, thus have developed and evolved to make such things easier, or harder. The speaker believes knowledge is better aquired from those who *live* it.

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Charisma score increases by 2.

***Your new Tongue*** You gain proficiency in the persuasion skill.

***Tongues of the Ancient*** You learn the message and vicious mockery cantrips. You ability for casting these spells is your Charisma. DC for vicious mockery equals 8 + your proficiency + your Charisma.

#### Watcher The watcher is the Knowing more commonly going to be found buried in a books and charts, or listening to a lecture on the intricacies of science and technology, of magic and of religion. The Watcher believes knowledge is best aquired from the sources who *understand* it.

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Wisdom score increases by 2.

***Best way to Learn*** You gain proficiency in one language and artisan's tools of your choice.

***The Things you Notice*** Thanks to your unique, but native, way of noticing small details, you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) checks to discover hidden items, secret passages or traps. \page

# The Shuurg The Shuurg are an endangered and hunted race and should not be taken lightly if one ever decides to trust you. Hunted by the darker underbellies of the civilized world for certain regenerative properties, Shuurg mostly stick to their quagmires and muddy swamps where they live in small tribes of fifteen or twenty. Not all Shuurg have this ability, but most hunters would not take the time to differentiate, which often leaves Stalkers and Runts in as much, if not more, danger than the Touched, the ones who actually possess the healing ability. The Shuurg are creatures of great loyalty, especially to their own, however they still recognize weakness in the tribe and Runts often find themselves not as valued, or cared about. Regardless of the status of tribe member, if one is threatened, they can be extremely dangerous and while in the vicinity of their tribe, are best avoided. Their stunted reptilian heritage makes them ideal at sneaking and blending in in their swampy and muddy homeland. #### Shuurg Traits

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Constitution increases by 1.

***Age*** Shuurg grow quickly and reach adulthood just 10 years after hatching. They generally live for another 30 to 40 years. However due to their hunted status, they rarely live this long.

***Alignment*** Most Shuurg follow and enforce the laws of the tribe, and chaos is often met with banishment or an offer for a chance to seek retribution. They find evil to be vulgar and, although civilization would often disagree, will almost never seek to do evil of their own accord.

***Size*** Shuurg are between 3 and 4 feet tall and average about 55 pounds. Your size is small.

***Speed*** Your base walking speed is 25 feet, and you have a swimming speed of 25 feet.

***Languages*** You can speak, read and write Common and the Primordial dialect of Aquan.

***Aquatic Affinity*** While swimming, you can dash as a bonus action. You can also breathe normally underwater.

***Toxic Spit*** When scared or in danger, you can expel a spit of pure acidic toxicity as an action. When you use your toxic spit, each creature in a 15 foot cone must make a dexterity saving throw.

The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus.

A creature takes 2d6 acid damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one, and this damage increases by 1d6 at 6th level (3d6), 11th level (4d6), and 16th level (5d6).

Once you have used your toxic spit, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest.

***Subraces*** Most Shuurg are one of two subraces, the Stalkers, and the Touched, however a small number of Runts also survive to adolescence.. Choose one of these options as listed below.

#### Stalker

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Dexterity score increases by 2.

***Speed*** Your base walking speed is 30 feet instead, and you have a swimming speed of 30 feet.

***Skirmish Training*** You have proficiency in spears, darts, shortbows, slings and the Stealth skill.

***Adaptive Reflexes*** As a reaction when the Stalker is the target of a weapon attack, it can give itself resistance to the attacks damage type until the start of its next turn, including for the triggering attack. Once the Shuurg uses this ability, they cannot do so again until after they take damage unaffected by this trait.

#### Touched

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Wisdom score increases by 2.

***Regenerative Organs*** If you begin your turn with fewer than half your maximum hitpoints, you can heal yourself a number of hitpoints equal to your Constitution modifier as a free action.

***Healing Touch*** By channeling its own regenerative properties, it can forgo its use of Toxic Spit to heal a single target within 5 feet instead as an action. Roll the dice for your Toxic Spit and the target heals the total.

***Camoflage*** You can cast the spell *disguise self* at will, but can only make yourself look like another Shuurg unless it is cast using a spell slot. #### Runt

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Strength score is reduced by 2.

***Cannot Swim*** Being more of a slave or resource to the tribe, you never really found the time to teach yourself to swim well. You lose the **Aquatic Affinity** trait.

***Forced Diplomat*** Mostly through necessity, you have become a voice for the Shuurg. You can choose proficiency in one of the following skills: Deception, Intimidation or Persuasion.

***Menial Laborer*** You are used to the hard work and toil of being a work horse. You have advantage on saving throws against effects that would cause exhaustion.

***Making Yourself Useful*** You can take the help action as a bonus action.

***Coerced Preemption*** Becase of your appearance, you are often sent ahead of a waiting ambush, willingly or not, to parley or scout the enemy. You have advantage on initiative rolls. \page

# Living Puppet Race Living Puppets are a unique breed of magic. Brought to life by humanitys belief and fascination with them, the awakening story of no two living puppets will be the same. Often wanting to leave behind life on stage, many living puppets instead seek a normal life. Unfortunately for these puppets, it is the belief in them and the knowledge of their exploits, both fictionally on stage and in the real world, that fuel their very lives. Many puppets do not "live" for more than a few months before they once again become mundane, losing their free will, and being unable to find it again.

For the few puppets who strike out into the world to make a name for themselves, it is important for you to know about them, and how to recognize them. It is with that in mind that I have put together this guide. **--** Arthur Varen, historian of puppetry and artistic form. #### Living Puppet Traits

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Constitution increases by 1.

***Age*** Living puppets do not age, however may begin to fade in power should their exploits ever be forgotten. Puppets thrive off others memories of it.

***Alignment*** Alignment is a pretty uncertain concept to the living puppets. Depending on whether the puppet gained their sentience through love and adoration or fear and revilement, the puppet can be Good or Evil but tends toward chaotic.

***Size*** Puppets are between 2 and 3 feet tall and average about 10 pounds, depending on the material you are made of. Your size is small.

***Speed*** Your base walking speed is 25 feet.

***Languages*** You can speak, read and write Common and one other language of your choice.

***Built to Last*** For the purpose of spells and abilities, you are considered a construct as well as humanoid.

***False Appearance*** While the puppet remains motionless it is indistinguishable from a normal puppet or doll, and have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.

***Well Designed*** Whether it be the shadows themselves, or the material you are made from, you seem sturdier than other puppets. You gain a natural Armor Class of 12 + proficiency + your Charisma score.

***Origins*** Every Living Puppet has an origin. Somewhere their path to sentience begins. Choose one of the options below.

#### Marionette

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Dexterity score increases by 2.

***Have Strings, will Dance*** Whenever an ally takes the help action to assist you with an ability check, you can add +2 to the roll in addition to the normal benefits.

***High Strung*** Being a marionette before your awakening has left you in the unique position of possessing a natural weapon you just can't get rid of. Whenever you take tha attack action you can choose to attack with your control bars. These bars are a dexterity-based weapon and have a range of 5ft/20ft and deal 1d4 + bludgeoning damage.

***Otherworldly Controller*** Although noone can prove it, your actions are said to be guided by an otherworldly being. You have advantage on Saving Throws against **charm** effects because of this.

***Talented Control*** After years of being manipulated like a puppet on a string, you have learned a few tricks yourself. You learn the *charm person* and *command* spells, and can cast each spell once per short rest.

Your spellcasting ability for these spells is Charisma and you regain use of both spells after a short rest.

#### Ventriloquy Dummy

***Ability Score Increase*** Your Charisma score increases by 2.

***Thrown Voice*** You gain the *Thaumaturgy* cantrip, and when used to make your voice louder the cantrip lasts twice as long.

***Unfathomable Jokes*** You can cast *Tasha's Hideous Laughter* once using this ability and regain the ability to cast it when you finish a short rest.

Your spellcasting ability for this spell is Charisma.

***Always Watching*** You do not need to sleep and can’t be forced to sleep by any means. To gain the benefits of a long rest, you can spend all 8 hours doing light activity and/or keeping watch. #### Shadow Puppet

***Ability Score Increase*** You gain no additional ability score increases from this subrace.

***Exist Only in Shadows*** You lose the **Built to Last** race feature. Instead, for the purpose of spell effects and abilities, you are considered only an aberration.

***Shapeless Shade*** Once per long rest, you can transform yourself following the druid **Wildshape** rules. Regardless of shape and form, you are still considered only an aberration.

If you gain the wildshape feature from any other source, you gain an additional use.

***Silent Speech*** You have no voice of your own. Instead you can communicate telepathically with any creature within 15 feet of you. They are not able to respond in kind unless through magical means.

***Now You See Me*** Twice per long rest, you can use your reaction when you are the target of a melee attack to meld into the shadows around you. You have resistance to all damage from the triggering attack. \page

# Subraces ## Garden Gnome - Gnome Subrace You've seen those gnomes hanging out in the garden, behind those white picket fences, with their painted cheeks and cute, wee red hats.. Well, they're real! They are real gnomes, jsut watching.. waiting.. sooner or later, you'll turn your back and then the gnomes will strike. NEVER turn your back on a garden gnome.

Taking some inspiration form fiction culture, the garden gnome is supposed to be the kind of monster you couldn't possibly picture as *being* a monster. While keeping in mind such creations as Doctor Who's *Weeping Angels*, the garden gnome very quickly developed into capable, but unexpected, assassins. #### Garden Gnome Traits

**Ability Score Increase** Your Charisma score increases by 1.

**Ornament of Nature** You have advantage on Stealth checks to hide when outdoors.

**Not just for Looks** If you make a weapon attack against a creature while hidden, add an additional 1d6 psychic damage if the attack would hit. This damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).

**Part of the Garden** As a reaction when an attack is made against you, you can cause your skin and everything you are wearing to harden with a glossy sheen as if you were solid ceramic. You can add your Charisma modifier to your AC against the triggering attack. You can use this trait only once and regain the ability to do so after finishing a short or long rest.

**Chuckle from Nowhere** You know the *vicious mockery* cantrip. You also gain the ability to cast *tasha's hideous laughter* at level 1 without expending a spell slot once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. If you are hidden when casting this spell, the target has disadvantage on the saving throw. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells. (8 + your proficiency + your Charisma) ## Glimmerfolk - Dwarf Subrace They were born as regular dwarves, hill dwarves, mountain dwarves.. even a few Duregar.. But they were fighting a losing war, the enemy had weapons that easily penetrated their armor, so they prayed to the goddess Tymora for help. She bestowed on them hard, crystaline skin that shone brightly and deflected blows so they could survive. Most religious Glimmerfolk worship Tymora in her wisdom and beauty, thanking her for the fortune she granted them. ``` ``` #### Glimmerfolk Traits

***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Charisma score increases by 1.

***Extra Language.*** You can speak, read and write Celestial.

***Crystaline Skin.*** In an ancient war, your ancenstors prayed to the Goddess Tymora for her protection, and she bestowed hard, crystaline skin upon them, birthing the Glimmerfolk. When you aren't wearing armor, your AC is 13 + your Constitution modifier. You can use your crystaline skin to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your crystaline skin.

***Shimmering Strike.*** The hardened, crystaline surface of your skin makes your strikes deal more of an impact. Your unarmed strike becomes 1d4 + your Strength modifier.

***Gleaming Brilliance.*** Once per short rest, as a bonus action, you can position yourself so the light hits you perfectly, radiating a rainbow of light in all directions. Any creature that can see you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become stunned for a round. On a success, the creature has disadvantage on it's next attack. The DC for this ability equals 8 + your proficiency + your Charisma modifier. ## Abyssal Dwarves - Dwarf Subrace Living deep in the the Abyss, some dwarves were corrupted by powers they sought to control. The very Abyss itself seemed to fight against them. The original dwarves, dragged from their original planes for the amusement of the demons, eventually made a deal with the demon overseeing the layers they mostly inhabited, the Demogorgon. But the Demogorgon "betrayed" them and they suffered. Mutated over time. #### Abyssal Dwarf Traits **Ability Score Increase** Your Strength score increases by 1.

**Goblin-like** You count as a goblinoid as well as humanoid for purposes of spell and ability effects.

**Bound by Treachery** You gain proficiency in the Deception skill, and cannot have proficiency in the Insight skill. If you gain proficiency in Insight from any other source, you can replace it with another skill instead.

**Abyss Dwellers** You lose your Dwarven **Stonecunning** trait, and gain proficiency in the Abyssal Language and whenever you do a religion or history skill check related to the Demogorgon or its layers of the Abyss, you are considered proficient in the skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.

**Tool Proficiency Variant** When you choose your artisans tool proficiency, you can choose alchemist's supplies instead. \page

## Pygmy Lizardfolk Living deep in the the Abyss, some dwarves were corrupted by powers they sought to control. The very Abyss itself seemed to fight against them. The original dwarves, dragged from their original planes for the amusement of the demons, eventually made a deal with the demon overseeing the layers they mostly inhabited, the Demogorgon. But the Demogorgon "betrayed" them and they suffered. Mutated over time. ### Small but Deadly... The first Abyssal Dwarves, the ones who made the initial deal, fell under the rule of the Demogorgon. Unable to betray their new master who tricked and mutated them to survive its realm, the abyssal dwarves changed over time from the stout, bearded dwarbes of other planes, into differently skinned versions of themselves. Their skin taking on a grey blue hue, with scraggly beards and tusks, pointed ears and sharp, yellow eyes. #### Pygmy Lizardfolk Traits **Ability Score Adjustments** Instead of the Ability Score Increases noted for the race, your Constitution and Wisdom scores both increase by 1, and your Strength score decreases by 1.

**Size** Much smaller than your other brethren, your size is considered small.

**Speed** Your base walking speed is 25 feet, instead of 30 feet, and your swimming speed is also 25 feet.

**Bubble Breath** You replace your lizardfolk **Hungry Jaws** ability, and gain a breath weapon. As an action you can blow bubbles in front of you in a 15 foot cone. Any creature in that range, must make a Dexterity Saving Throw against 8 + your Proficiency + your Constitution. On a failed save, the creature falls prone. You can use this ability once, and cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest.

**Overwhelmed** You lose your lizardfolk **Cunning Artisan** and **Hunter's Lore** traits, and gain proficiency in Dexterity (Stealth) checks. You also gain the ability to dash as a Bonus Action. ``` ``` ## Swamp Goblin Swamp goblins are unique in that they have survived as a people for as long as they have not because they are good survivors, agile or stealthy, no. They have survived because the swamp has willed it. The deadly dangers of the swamp inflict a heavy toll on the goblins who reside there, many of whom are just normal goblins from the forests or hills, who wanted a shortcut or adventure. Once the swampy terrors have done their worst to any who enter, the swamp claims its prize, twisting and reanimating the bodies of those slain, beaten and bloodied.

#### Swamp Goblin Traits ***Ability score increase.*** Your Intelligence increases by 1, and your Strength increases by 1.

***Rancid Blood.*** As a swampdweller you have developed a thicker skin and can resist certain effects. You gain resistance to poison damage and immunity to the poisoned effect. Additionally, whenever you are the target of a melee attack that hits, the creature making the attack takes acid damage equal to your proficiency bonus. You cannot use this effect if wearing medium or heavy armor.

***Swamp Claimed.*** As a goblin who expired in the deadly swamps, you lose your **Nimble Escape** racial feature and instead gain **Fungal Armor**. Additionally, You retain your creature type, yet you register as undead to spells and other effects that detect the presence of the undead creature type.

***Fungal Armor.*** Denizens of the swamps, especially the goblins, you call home survive by becoming one with their surroundings. A number of fungal "plates" have grown on or from your body, forming a natural armor that also helps with mobility. When not wearing armor, you gain a bonus +2 to your AC, as well as your Strength and Dexterity saving throws. \page

# The Mutant Variant Race The mutants are a genetic anomoly in ever-changing beings. While not gaining any physical advantages form their unique genetics, they do possess certain malleable abilities. Mutants are known to be found from all races, although none share their hosts natural characteristics, the mutations can adjust to any body just as easily as the next.

The mutations can exist in any race, not just limited to humanoids though. The mutations have also been found to be present in certain types of beasts around the worlds and can prove deadly, or kindly. ### What the Mutant actually is The mutant is technically a race of its own, however can be applied to an existing race as a subrace without any changes required. The mutant variant is a race/subrace that is built around ever changing chemistry in the body, and selective mutation to allow the creature to make itself faster or stronger, or to change it's physical appearance.

The mutation is handled differently by a lot of races and while not every race can benefit (or suffer, as some view) from such mutations, everybody seems to have an opinion on it. ### Treatment from other Races **Humans** While still the most common race to possess the mutation, Humans are often scared of the mutants among them, fearing them different, dangerous and unpredictable.

**Dwarves** The dwarves are strong and stoic, respecting the changes the mutations provide. a faster, stronger dwarf is always welcome, whether it be in battle, in the mines or with a tankard of ale.

**Elves** The ancient and wise race of elves have never seen the mutations as something to fear, but have delved deep into understanding them, unfortunately to little success.

**Dragonborn** Most dragonborn are of the belief that mutants should be purged by fire, seeing it more of a curse or infection, than a gift. Elven scholars researching the mutation have speculated that is because Dragonborn lack the "gift" of being able to play host to the mutation, but noone is certain.

**Tieflings** Another race that is seemingly immune to the mutation, Tieflings have a strong disdain toward mutants. Untrusting and suspicious, it would be rare for a Tiefling to accept that which they don't understand without being presented proof of reason to trust.

**Asimaar** Asimaar are divine beings that don't always see their divinity as a gift, and so some sympathise with mutants, while not being viable to possess the mutant trait themselves. This sympathy however is not always taken as support by mutants, which leads to some tention between the races.

**Goblins, Orcs, Kobolds** and other monstrous races. The more frowned upon races of the planes treat the mutation as a blessing, almost worship the mutation and those who are "blessed" with it. #### Mutant Traits Your mutant variant has a number of traits in common with all other mutants, but gain none from the host race. ***Host Race.*** The mutant blood coarses through you, but you may not have always been a mutant. When making a mutant character, select a race to "host" your mutant genes, like dwarf, or human. This race will help decide your **size**, **speed** and **age**, however you gain no racial abilites or Ability Score Increases from your host race, instead they are replaced with those of the Mutant Variant.

However due to chemical structure in the body, Dragonborn, tiefling and asimaar cannot be affected by the mutation, so cannot be chosen as "host".

***Ability Score Increase.*** Mutant characters gain no ability score increases from their race, but instead gain the ability to move ability score points at the end of a long rest. When you finish a long rest you can choose to move a number of points equal to half your proficiency modifier, from one ability score to another, eg. 2 points from str into dex making your 16 str into a 14 and your 12 dex into a 14.

You cannot move points from Intelligence, Wisdom or Constitution.

You cannot move a number of points that would drop a score below 10, or raise a score above 18.

***Alignment.*** While most mutants have amassed a rather unpleasant reputation for mutant-kind, the majority are good-hearted folk just trying to fit in. Though this often leads to a little chaos, with misunderstandings and miscommunications not being handled very well.

***Mutation.*** You know the *poison spray* cantrip.

When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the *barkskin* spell once, targetting only yourself, with this trait, and regain the ability to do so after a long rest.

When you reach 5th level, you can cast the *blink* spell once with this ability, and regain the ability to do so after a long rest.

Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

***Adaptability.*** You have a swim speed equal to your movement speed, and a climb speed equal to half your movement (rounded up to nearest 5).

***Unique Genetics*** Due to your ever changing chemical makeup, you have advantage on saving throws against poison, and proficiency in Constitution saving throws. \page

# Barbarian ## Path of the Chieftain A half orc stands on the steps of the longhouse, greataxe in one hand, his other balled into a fist, thumping his chest as he roars out over his horde. The horns of battle blare and the horde charges onward, the half orc making his way to the front. As he raises his greataxe and the sun hits it, he radiates energy and his horde charges forward, shouting and crying out.

Whenever you enter a rage, you can grant temporary hitpoints to any number of allies you can see within 30 feet of you.

The temporary hitpoints are equal to your Charisma modifier + Barbarian level (minimum 1).

These temporary hitpoints last until your rage ends. #### Inspiring Presence Beginning at 6th level, while raging you emit an aura around you for 10 feet. You and your allies cannot be frightened while inside the aura for as long as you maintain your rage. If you or an ally was frightened before you raged, the fear effect is suspended until your rage ends, or the ally moves out of the aura. Once out of the aura, or if you stop raging, the fear effect continues to affect you or the affected ally. #### Protector of the Tribe As word of your deeds spread, you have shown yourself to be a staunch and able leader. Starting at 10th level, when an ally within 10 feet of you would be the target of an attack from a source you can see, you can use your reaction to taunt the attacker, forcing them to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + prof + Cha). On a failed save, the target *must* attack you if you are within reach, otherwise have disadvantage against the declared target. This must be declared before the roll to attack is made, and cannot be declared otherwise. #### Chieftain's Shout Your voice is a commanding and dominant presence, whether it be on the battlefield or around the fire. Starting at 14th level, You can let out a powerful shout that inspires allies and sets enemies quaking. Allies within 60 feet of you, gain advantage on the next attack they make before your next turn. Enemies within 60 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + prof + Cha) or move half their movement in any direction away from you.

Additionally, if you have a humanoid ally within 10 feet, you are unable to use your reaction to take opportunity attacks.

When you reach 12th level, the range of this feature drops from 10 feet to 5 feet. #### Self Reliance starting at 3rd level, you have advantage on Survival checks made to track, and animal handling checks. You also gain an additional 5 feet of movement. #### Lone Wolf You've grown used to being alone, and actually helps you focus on what is going on, and resisting certain effects. Beginning at 6th level, you can spend your reaction to gain a bonus on a saving throw made to resist a charm and fear effect. This bonus is equal to the number of feet to your nearest ally, divided by 5.

You can use this ability a number of times equal to your number of maximum rages. All uses of this feature reset on finishing a long rest. #### Man's Best Friend At 10th level, you gain the companionship of a Dire Wolf. The direwolf acts independently of you, but obeys your verbal commands. In combat, it acts on your turn and can move or attack as a bonus action. You can add your proficiency bonus to the wolfs AC, attack rolls and damage rolls, as well as any saving throws it is proficient in. Its hit point maximum equals four times your barbarian level and can spend hit dice to heal during a short rest to regain hit points. #### Dire Sacrifice Beginning at 14th level, When an attack roll is made against you, you can use your raction to move your beast companion up to half its speed toward you. If it ends this movement within 5 feet of you, you can instead make it the target of the triggering attack.

You can use this ability only once, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a short or long rest. \page

# Bard ## College of the Fire Dancer Bards of the College of the Fire Dancer are as hypnotic as the flames they emulate. Able to weave and spin flames into their performances, these bards can be found performing stunts with this unbridled element, whether walking across a pit of still burning embers to juggling objects wreathed in flame or even swallowing the flames themselves only to breathe them in a rushing torrent of heat over an awe inspired audience.

Travelling festivals and troupes will often pick up one of these bards to heat things up with a sexy sense of danger, their dancing often as hypnotic as the tongues of fire they wield. ##### College of the Fire Dancer | Bard Level | Feature | |:----:|:-------------| | 3rd | Hot Feet, Soul of Fire | | 6th | Fire Juggling | | 14th | Sentient Inferno | #### Hot Feet Starting at 3rd level, while unamored or wearing light armor, your movement speed increases by 10 feet and you gain resistance to fire damage.

#### Soul of Fire When you choose this college at 3rd level, you begin to understand the mastery over fire you are developing. At 3rd level you learn the *fire bolt* cantrip, as well as the 1st level spell *burning hands* and 2nd level spell, *scorching ray*. These count as Bard spells for you and don't count against your number of spells known. At 6th level you also learn the spell, *fireball* and at 8th level, the spell, *wall of fire*.

#### Fire Juggling You've seen the destructive power of fire and have trained yourself to capably fight with weapons engulfed in flame. Starting at 6th level, when you hit with a weapon attack you can expend a use fo your Bardic Inspiration to deal an additional 3d6 fire damage to that target, as searing hot flame bursts from the weapon. You can do so only once per round on your turn. The fire damage increaces when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 5d6 at 10th level and 8d6 at 15th level. ``` ``` #### Sentient Inferno Fire has been your life, moving in it, moving on it and around it. When you reach 14th level, you have spent so much time around fire that you have built up an immunity to fire damage. Also, by expending 2 uses of your Bardic Inspiration you can transform into a fire elemental. This transformation lasts for a number of minutes equal to your Charisma modifier. While transformed you take on the physical stats, abilites and actions of a fire elemental, while maintaining your Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma. ## College of Wit ##### College of Wit | Bard Level | Feature | |:----:|:-------------| | 3rd | Thrown Voice, Passing the Torch | | 6th | Scathing retort, Thrown Voice Improvement | | 14th | Biting Retort, Thrown Voice Improvement | #### Thrown Voice Beginning at 3rd level, you learn the *vicious mockery* cantrip if you do not already know it. When you cast *vicious mockery* it gains an additional range of 15 feet and the damage die size becomes D6.

This range increases to 25ft at 6th level, and 50ft at 14th level. #### Passing the Torch Starting at 3rd level, when you use your Bardic Inspiration to inspire an ally, they can choose to use it to cast *vicious mockery* at it's lowest level using their inspiration die in the place of the spells damage die. #### Scathing Retort Beginning at 6th level, you can use your reaction when you are the target of a weapon attack to cast *vicious mockery*.

By spending a Bardic Inspiration, you can add that die to the damage roll and the target takes additional damage equal to twice the Bardic Inspiration Die roll. #### Biting Remark Reaching 14th in this class, you have learned how to twist and envenom your words with your *vicious mockery*. When you cast *vicious mockery*, the target has disadvantage on the Wisdom Saving Throw.

Additionally, whether the target succeeds or fails, they cannot take reactions until the start of their next turn. \page

## College of the Waves Bards of the College of Waves have been shaped by the harsh mistress of the high seas, working both above and below deck until the beat of the sea flows through their beings. With their strong navigational skills and silvered tongues, some whisper a bardless vessel is a cursed one and a bard of the College of the Waves need never be in want of a crew.

The siren call of the sea and the freedom she offers generally keeps these bards away from royal courts, much more at home on their ships or in the rowdier taverns around the water’s edge of town where they can get a better feel for what other miscreants have washed up into town and what tales they may have to share. ##### College of the Waves | Bard Level | Feature | |:----:|:-------------| | 3rd | Boatswain's Bellowing, Six Months in a Leaky Boat | | 6th | Salt Water in The Blood | | 14th | Sea Shanties and Siren Songs | #### Boatswain's Bellowing Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in medium armor and scimitars as well as learning 1 additional language you might have encountered in your travels. You also gain proficiency in Navigators tools and expertise if already proficient. #### Six Months in a Leaky Boat Also at 3rd level, you have sailed ships for such extensive lengths of time that you have learned almost every in and out of sailing there is to know. When attempting to navigate a waterborne craft, you can spend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration to grant yourself or an ally within 30 feet of you advantage on the associated skill check. You can choose to use this feature after the roll is made, but before the DM determines the result of the skill check. #### Salt Water in The Blood You've spent plenty of time both at sea and on land, having formed quite a reputation for yourself as well. Beginning at 6th level, you have advantage on Charisma (persuasion) checks to negotiate passage on waterborne crafts, and purchasing waterborne vehicles costs 1/3 less (rounded up if needed). You also gain proficiency with vehicles (water) if not already proficient. This becomes expertise if already proficient. #### Sea Shanties and Siren Songs During long nights on the sea you have heard the songs of sirens and the wailing of drunken sailors. Beginning at 14th level, you have found ways to twist them both to your advantage, either to lure in unsuspecting victims or to bolster allies. You gain 1 additional use of Bardic Inspiration and 2 additional ways to use it: ``` ``` **Sea Shanties.** As a bonus action, you can spend a Bardic Inspiration die to sing a song of the sea to an ally within 60 feet. That ally can roll the spent die and gain temporary hitpoints equal to the roll. **Siren Songs.** As a bonus action, you can spend a Bardic Inspiration die to attempt to charm a humanoid creature that can see and hear you within 60 feet. The target must succeed a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell save DC. If the target fails the saving throw then roll the spent die, the target is considered charmed by you for a number of minutes equal to the roll. ## College of Death Metal ##### College of Death Metal | Bard Level | Feature | |:----:|:-------------| | 3rd | Death Growl, Power Chord | | 6th | Sweep-Picking | | 14th | A Beat to Stir the Dead | #### Death Growl Starting at 3rd level, whenever you cast a spell with a verbal component, you can choose to "growl" it. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. #### Power Chord When you choose this college at 3rd level, you learn the *thunderwave* spell and can add it to your list of known spells. It does not count against your number of known spells shown in the bard table.

When you cast *thunderwave* using a Bard spell slot, up to three creatures of your choice have disadvantage on the saving throw. #### Sweep-Picking At 6th level, you have learned how to twist your unique talents to further your own career. As a reaction when you are the target of a weapon attack, you can spend one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to roll it. Reduce the damage you take by the roll, then as part of the same reaction, inflict twice the die value to the attacker. #### A Beat to Stir the Dead Beginning at 14th level, when you cast a spell of 5th level or higher, you summon one skeleton or zombie in a space you can see within 10 feet of you.

The summoned undead acts on its own initiative but obeys your verbal commands and you can command it on your turn as a bonus action. \page

## College of Woodland Echoes The rustling of the trees, the whistling of the birds and the crunching of snapping twigs. The peace, serenity and harmony of the forest is all around you. All around the world woodland beings echo and live with one another. Their echoes carry, travelling on the wind until they find those worthy to join them. Then those echoes are echoed, and return to the woods, bringing peace and harmony to all who hear them.

Whenever a creature rolls your Bardic Inspiration die, they also gain temporary hit points equal to the roll plus your Charisma modifier.

You also gain proficiency with vehicles (water) if not already proficient. This becomes expertise if already proficient. ``` ``` #### Nature Takes Many Forms Your attunement to nature is felt so strongly by nature itself that you find it much easier and less taxing to transform yourself into various beasts with the use of the polymorph spell.

At 14th level, you may add the Polymorph spell to your list of known spells and it does not count against your known spells limit if you did not already have it. You may cast polymorph without expending a spell slot if you are targeting only yourself and choose a beast of CR 1 or below.

You can do this a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. \page

# Cleric ## Creation Domain Every now and then humanity is reminded about the creation of different things. Birthdays are reminders of the creations of people, deaths are reminders of the creations of war and sickness, and revolutions are the celebration of the creation of ideas. Additionally, you can use this knowledge to gain advantage on checks with your tinker's tools to make similar objects or mechanisms. #### Channel Divinity: Existence is Temporary Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to sever the very fabric that holds everything in a balance. As an action, target a creature within 30 feet of you, the target creature must succeed on a Widsom saving throw against your spell save DC or be teleported to a random plane of existence for 1 minute. After this time the creature reappears in the spot they vanished from. ``` ``` #### Channel Divinity: Fabric of Creation Starting at 6th level, you can use your Channel Divnity to manipulate the weave of existence to magically summon creatures from other planes. As an action, target an unoccupied space within 30 feet of you and summon one creature in the unoccupied space, This creature remains on the current plane for 1 minute, or until its hitpoints drop to 0. In combat the creature acts on its own initiative but will obey your verbal commands. You can spend your bonus action telling it to attack, dash, dodge or hide. If the summoned creature would normally have a form of spellcasting or multiattack, it does not. The CR of the summoned creature must be equal to, or below, your Cleric level divided by 3. #### Many Hands Make Light Work Starting at 8th level, when you take the help action to assist someone with a check using a Artisan's tools, they gain a bonus to their total equal to your Wisdom modifier, in addition to the advantage from the help action. #### Reweaving Existence You have learned how to use the essence all around you that makes up life itself to heal and mend your own physical form. Sarting at 17th level, you regain a number of hitpoints equal to your Proficiency bonus as a free action. You cannot regain these hitpoints if you took necrotic, fire, acid or slashing damage since your last turn. #### Woven Fabric of Creation Starting at 17th level, when you use your Channel Divinity for your Fabric of Reality feature, the CR of the summoned creature can be equal to or below half your Cleric level. In addition, the creature remains on the current plane until the next dusk, it drops to 0 hitpoints, or you leave that plane. If the summoned creature has spellcasting or multiattack, it is able to use these options. \page

## Disease Domain The names of the gods of pestilence - Talona, Incabulos, Morgion - are more often whispered with venom and reviled hatred than heard spoken with any reverence; however these gods and their disease carrying champions are a balance in this world that only druids could envy. The clerics of such gods learn both the devastating power of diseases and the hope their cures and remedies offer; each instance a prayer offered up to their deities. Your profiency bonus is doubled for any checks you make with that skill. #### Toxic Exsudare At 1st level, you gain the ability to ooze little portions of disease from your own body. Once per short rest you can choose to deal poison damage to an enemy you hit with a melee attack, equal to your Cleric level + Constitution modifier. This ability can also be used an additional time after curing someone of the poisoned condition. ``` ``` #### Channel Divinity: Alchemical Synthesis Starting at second level you can use your Channel Divinity to brew toxins and antitoxins. You conduct and hour-long ritual to infuse a number of water vials, either corrupting or purifying the contents. You can infuse a number of vials equal to your Wisdom modifier, choosing either a radiant poison, or antitoxin for each. **Antitoxin** A creature that drinks this vial of liquid gains advantage on saving throws against poison for 1 hour. It confers no benefit to undead or constructs. **Radiant Poison** This viscuous liquid forms a poisonous liquid that can be drank or used to coat a blade. If drank, the consumer takes 1d6 radiant damage and 3d4 poison damage and must succeed a Constitution Saving Throw against your spell save DC or be poisoned. If a blade is coated in this poison, it lasts for 3 attacks, dealing 1d4 poison damage on a successful attack, on top of the regular weapon damage. #### Withering Veins Starting at 6th level, you gain resistance to poison damage. Additionally, while afflicted with the poisoned condition, you suffer no disadvantage from it and you gain a +1 to your AC while poisoned. When the poisoned condition ends in any way, take necrotic damage equal to your Cleric level. #### Vile Weeping At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your strikes with the poison coarsing in your blood. Once on each of your turns, you can deal an extra 1d6 poison damage when you hit a creature with a weapon attack. Alternatively, you can forgo your attack to attempt to touch a creature to poison it. They must succeed a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or become poisoned for 1 minute. They can remake the saving throw to shake off the poison at the end of each of their turns.

When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d6, and the Constitution saving throws against your poisoned touch is made with disadvantage. #### Septicaemic Immunity When you reach 17th level, the poison in your veins has strengthened you beyond normal thresholds. You gain immunity to poison damage and the poisoned condition. It also grants you a permanent +1 to AC and Constitution saving throws. \page

## Happiness Domain The gods with the domain of happiness in their purview are gods truly to behold. In the darkness of the world around them, clerics that follow gods such as Lliira, Baubo, Belun and Ekajata are beacons of hope and positivity. Their influence can seem subtle at first, soothing or bolstering others through their own power of emotion, calling forth one’s own power and amplifying it, fortifying their allies and making their enemies question themselves. The creature gains a bonus to charisma (persuasion) checks equal to your wisdom modifier for 1 minute or until you use this ability again. ``` ``` #### Channel Divinity: World's Best Joke Starting at 2nd level, as an action, you can use your Channel Divinty to attempt to pacify all hostile creatures within 15 feet with the World's Best Joke.

Each hostile creature that can hear you within 15 feet must succeed a Charisma Saving Throw against your spell save DC if you share a language or begin laughing hysterically and cannot take any other action or reaction until the end of their next turn. #### Music for the Soul You have learned how to channel your divine magic through the music you play to rouse and excite. Starting at 6th level, you can augment your instrument with healing properties that flow to anyone who listens. Once, When you play an instrument for at least 10 minutes, you can choose a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier, those creatures each gain temporary hitpoints equal to your cleric level. These temporary hitpoints last 1 minute, or until they are depleted. You can use this feature only once, then must complete a long rest to do so again. #### Soul Soothe Starting at 8th level, you add the spell *calm emotions* to your list, and always have it prepared. It doesn't count toward your number of spells you can prepare. These druids have realized the untapped potential surrounding the material plane and have learned to blur themselves between the barriers to bring small, powerful parts back to rebalance the spirit and enhance the vitality of their home plane.

While on the Ethereal Plane you can see and hear as if still on your plane of origin, while being undetectable by divination magic and considered invisible.

At the end of the duration you snap back to where you were when using this ability, and you cannot use it again without finishing a short or long rest. #### Bonus Cantrip At 2nd level, you gain the *minor illusion* cantrip. This does not count against your number of cantrips known and counts as a druid spell for you. #### Expanded Spells At 6th level, your visions into the Ethereal plane have provided you unique understanding of the magic surrounding it as well as insight into teleportation magics required to get there, allowing you to cast certain spells not usually known to those attuned to nature. You learn the spells below at the levels listed and always have them prepared. If you use this ability, the target regains additional hitpoints equal to your druid level. #### Ethereal Infusion At 10th level you learn how to tap deeper into your Ethereal Grace. Your Ethereal Grace points increase to match your Wisdom modifier. You also gain a number of other abilities to use with your Ethereal Grace:

* As an action on your turn, you can target one creature you can see that is under the effect of a spell, and end that spell by spending 2 Ethereal Grace. * When you cast a concentration spell of first level or greater with a limited duration of less than 24 hours, you can spend 1 Ethereal Grace point to double the spells duration. A spell can only be affected by this ability once.

#### Subconcious Concentration Starting at 14th level, when you cast a spell requiring concentration but are already concentrating on another spell, you can summon an Ethereal familiar of yourself crackling with energy from the Ethereal plane to concentrate on the second spell.

The Ethereal familiar has an AC of 10 and 1 hitpoint with immunity to nonmagical damage. If the being drops to 0 hitpoints, the concentration is dropped and the spell ends.

You can only use this ability once per long rest and the familiar can only concentrate on a single spell, disappearing if it drops to 0 hitpoints or the spells duration ends. \page

# Monk ## Way of the Dervish Dervishes are masters or two weapons. Creating violent and vicious whirlwinds to fight their enemies. When you are hit with a weapon attack, you can use your reaction to make a Dexterity Saving Throw against the attack roll. If the total is higher than the attack roll, the attack misses instead.

You can use this ability once, and cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest. #### Persuasive Edge Starting at 6th level, when you make a Charisma (Intimidation) check while making a show of force, you can spend a ki point to give yourself advantage on the ability check. #### Shower of Steel Starting at 11th level, when you use Flurry of Blows, if both attacks from your flurry hit, you can spend an additional ki point to repeat Flurry of Blows again. You can repeat this until you miss with an attack.

You can only use this ability once. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. #### Whirlwind of Blades Starting at 17th level, you can enter a "whirlwind" state as a bonus action. Until the end of your turn you double your movement speed can make twice as many attacks as normal.

You can use this ability twice, and gain a level of exhaustion if you expend both uses before resting. You regain both uses when you finish a long rest. ``` ``` ## Way of the Open Oceans A human stands at the bow of a Galleon, whistling a shanty and staring to sea, the depths call to them. The waves crash against the ship and the spray catches against them. The Open Ocean, is a walk of life that not all can stomach, but those that can, find great strength inside themselves. With that strength comes the power to crash as waves crash, and roll like a boat on the seas. In addition to those proficiencies, you also gain the ability to spend a Ki point to gain advantage on a History check if it is on the subject of sailing or oceans. #### Mariners Resilience You are beginning to master holding your breath for longer, and swimming further. Starting at 3rd level, You gain a swim speed equal to your walking speed and you are able to hold your breath for a number of minutes equal to twice your Constitution modifier. After this time if breathing has not resumed, follow the rules on suffocating (PHB page 183). The swim speed granted by this feature increases with your Unarmored Movement. At 14th level, it becomes impossible to drown as you have become so accustomed to water and the effects of depth on the lungs, and you gain resistance to cold damage. #### Typhonic Strikes When you reach 6th level, you have learnt how to throw the turbulent, frothing force of the sea behind your fists. When you take the attack action on your turn, you can spend a ki point to turn your unarmed strikes to cold damage. In addition, as a bonus action you can send a torrent of water at a target within 30 feet. That target must succeed a Dexterity saving throw or fall prone. No other Ki point abilities can be used this turn. The save DC for this ability is 8 + your proficiency + your Wisdom modifier. \page

#### Glacial Armor Starting at 11th level, you have learned how to harness and cool the ocean itself to shield you. As an action you can spend 4 Ki points to cast *armor of agathys* at 3rd level. At 17th level, you can extend your ability and cast *armor of agathys* at 4th level for 5 Ki points instead. #### Calm Before the Storm You have spent so much time at sea during rough water and gale-force winds, you've learnt to take solace in the calm before the storm. Starting at 17th level, when you spend a Ki point to use patient defence, you can spend an additional Ki point to roll 2 hit dice from your pool and heal that amount, adding your constitution modifier only once. ## Way of Suffering Monks of the Way of Suffering have learned to use their opponent’s own attacks against them. After using Patient Defence, if you take damage before the start of your next turn, you can add your Monk level to the damage of your first attack on that turn. #### Bonus Proficiencies When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with whips and flails. These count as Monk weapons for you. #### Flagellant Strike When you reach 6th level, pain has long become a source of almost ecstasy and pleasure for you. Once per long rest, when you hit with an attack against a creature that has attacked you, you can turn the attack into a critical hit. When you use this ability, you also take necrotic damage equal to your Monk level. #### Mark of Suffering You have learned to harness your inner strength for more than just your own power. Starting at 11th level, when you hit an enemy with a melee attack, you can choose to mark that target. The target creature must make a Constitution saving throw, with a DC equal to the damage inflicted. On a failed save, the creature is marked.

While a creature is marked by you in this way, you gain resistance to all damage types except psychic. When you take damage, the marked creature also takes the same damage. In addition, while marked the creature has advantage on attack rolls against you. #### Pleasure from Pain Starting at 11th level, when you score a critical hit against a target (including from Flagellant Strike), You can immediately use your reaction to heal yourself by spending a number of hit dice up to your wisdom modifier. Once you use this ability, you cannot use this ability again until after a short or long rest. #### Blood Frenzy You have come to crave the deliverance of pain to yourself and others while feeling the bite of pierced flesh. Starting at 17th level, when you take the attack action on your turn you can choose to have advantage on attack rolls until the start of your next turn, and must execute Flurry of Blows as a bonus action without spending a ki point this turn. Attack rolls made against you also have advantage until the start of your next turn. Once you use this ability, you cannot use this ability again until after a long rest. \page

# Paladin ## Oath of Cleansing Fire Paladins of the Oath of Cleansing Fire are not so much dedicated to a single order, instead acting as inquisitors for hire to other orders and religious factions. They believe in finding heresy and searing its influence. If they cannot, then they smoke out the cause of the heresy, and eliminate it. Paladins of Cleansing Fire are seen as cruel, harsh and volatile by the average person, while those more likely to seek their services know full well they are in control of themselves. #### Tenets of Cleansing Fire The tenets of the Oath of Cleansing Fire stand for justice as they see it, against those they see deserve it. **Abhor the Arcane.** Magic comes from divinity only. Without divinity, ones magic is heresy, and their life forfeit. **Uphold what is Right.** Right and wrong is an understanding every living person possesses, yet some still claim ignorance. Silence them. **Better to Ask Forgiveness.** A lack of action to wait for permission almost always ends in destruction. As an action, force a humanoid creature you can see within 30 feet to make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the target takes 1d8 fire damage every time the creature tells something they know, or believe, to be a lie. This fire damage leaves no physical marks and is not detectable by magical means. This effect lasts one minute. **Sacred Duty.** Spellcasters are always the worst heretics. As an action, you can use your Channel Divinity to make a single weapon attack against a creature. If the attack hits, the target takes additional force damage equal to the maximum number of spell slots they currently possess. You cannot activate smite on this attack. #### Inquisitors Gaze Starting at 3rd level, whenever you make a Wisdom (insight) check to determine whether a creature is lying, treat a roll of 7 or lower on the d20 as an 8. You also have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to spot hidden creatures. #### Aura of Arcane Dampening Starting at 7th level, you exude an aura of magic nullifying energy only the strongest of faith can break through. When a spell is cast within 10 feet of you by an enemy, the caster must succeed a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the spell fails but still consumes the spell slot. At 18th level, the range of this aura becomes 30ft. #### Lies of Pain Eternal Beginning at 15th level, when you use your Channel Divninty for Lies of Pain, it instead lasts a number of minutes equal to your Charisma modifier, and the damage increases to 2d8. #### Avatar of Orthodoxy At 20th level, you are recognized as a being of incredible power over right or wrong as the fist of justice of many gods, and an avatar of orthodoxy. Which grants you the following benefits: * You have resistance to all damage from spells, and advantage on saving throws against spells. * When you take the attack action against a creature that attacked you since your last turn, you may make an additional attack as part of that action. * You may use your Channel Divinity an additional time between rests. If you choose to use your additional use of Channel Divinity, doing so negates the effect of this ability until you finish a short or long rest. \page

## Oath of Companionship Paladins of Companionship draw their power and faith from their companions. Their friends, family and brothers and sisters in arms. #### Tenets of Companionship The tenets of the Oath of Companionship stand for justice as they see it, against those they see deserve it. **Compassion.** Not everyone understands the bond of brotherhood. Teach them. Teach them your ways and consider them your brother. **Forgiveness.** Those who cannot be taught, can be forgiven, whether by blade or word, they will recieve your forgiveness. **Loyalty.** Without your companions, you would be lost. Without you, your companions would stray. **Protection.** Never shall a brother fall while you still draw breath. The chosen creatures have advantage on the next attack they make against a creature before the start of your next turn. ``` ``` #### Three's a Crowd At 3rd level, you learn the *friends* cantrip and it counts as a paladin spell for you. #### Aura of Loyalty Beginning at 7th level, you exude an aura that brings people together and binds them as one cohesive unit. You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you are immune to being charmed and attempts to grapple creatures in the aura are made at disadvantage. At 18th level, the range of this aura becomes 30 feet. #### Worthy Sacrifice Starting at 15th level, when a creature within 5 feet of you is the target of a melee attack, you can use your reaction to attempt to shift the attack to target you. The attacker must succeed a Charisma saving throw against your Spell save DC or target you instead. You can use this ability after the creature makes its roll, but before the DM determines if the attack hits or misses. #### Avatar of Unity At 20th level, as an action you assume an illusory shifting form, that changes to reflect an individuals thoughts and feelings of their perfect humanoid companion.

For 1 minute while in this form, you gain the following benefits: * Attack rolls against you have disadvantage. * At the start of your turn, you can forgo the previous benefits to give them to an ally instead. Attack rolls against your ally have disadvantage until the start of your next turn. Attack rolls against you anre made normally. * The radius of your auras increase by 5 feet. * You can end your avatar form early as a reaction when one or more allies are the target of an Area of Effect spell requiring a Saving Throw. If you end this ability in this way, affected allies may add a +10 bonus to their Saving Throw. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. \page

## Oath of Jubilation ___ A paladins oath is something sacred to them. This oath is a creed, a solemn vow to live your life to a moral and ethical code, setting the standard for who and what you are. The Oath of Jubilation was born out a desire to be the best you can be while spreading your message to the masses. Paladins of this oath, starting with Weynon Bronsson, are charged with being the cornerstone in any group they are in. They are the joy, the light, and the shield between misery and woe and the people they have sworn to protect. The paladins of the Oath of Jubilation are above all….Joyful. #### Tenets of Jubilation The tenets of the Oath of the Jubilation are not for the faint of heart, nor the faint of spirit. Paladins who take this oath must be dedicated to routing out sorrow wherever it may hide, and to being vigilant to the needs of others, putting themselves between the forces of evil and the destructive path these forces carve ***Walk in the Light.*** Let your smiles and songs be a beacon to those who have lost faith. Spread your influence and ideals wherever you may go, and lift up others through your kind words ***Shelter the Broken.*** Where there is pain and sorrow in the world, stand between the wickedness that would kindle it. Be a bastion of safety that people know they can look to in their time of need. ***Preserve Your Own Light.*** Delight in song and laughter, in beauty and art. If you allow the light to die in your own heart, you can’t preserve it in the world. Be the Light. Be a glorious beacon for all who live in despair. The die becomes a d8 at 5th level, a d10 at 10th level, and a d12 at 15th level. ___ ***Everybody's friend.*** You can use your channel divinity to force a number of creatures you can see within 120ft equal to your paladin level to make a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature perceives you as friendly and will not actively attack you for this round. On a successful save, the creature has disadvantage on their first attack roll against you, then the charm fades. #### Aura of Vigor Starting at 7th level, Allies in your aura fight with a new found vigor, charging into battle surrounded by the sounds of your joy. Once per round, when each ally declares their first attack within 10 feet of you, they can choose to add your charisma mod as an additional bonus to their attack roll or their damage roll for that attack. ___ At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet. #### Swan Song Starting at 15th level, charisma mod per long rest, when you are reduced to 0 hit points and are not killed outright, you can choose to emit a blast of radiant light. Any ally within 30 feet when this light is emitted regains hit points equal to your Paladin level + your charisma modifier. ___ You do not benefit from this effect, and upon your final usage of this feature per long rest, you gain one point of exhaustion. #### Joyful Champion At 20th level, you become the embodiment of joy. You gain 4 joyful points that reset on a long rest, you can spend these points as an action and target a number of friendly creatures up to your Cha mod to activate one of three features listed below. ___ ***Song of Perseverance. 1 point*** You or each of your chosen allies gain your Paladin level in temporary hp, allowing them to push through the tide of evil and proclaim joy in their victory. ___ ***Song of Radiance. 2 points*** For 1 minute, Each of your chosen allies who make a weapon attack while under this effect, be it ranged or melee, can add 1d8 radiant damage on top of their attack, inspired by your divine performance. ___ ***Song of Sacrifice. 3 points*** You and each of your chosen allies may expend up to 5 hit dice from their own class, as a reaction, during the Paladins turn to add to a damage pool. The paladin chooses a spot at the end of his turn. A pillar of light extends from the chosen point in a 20 foot radius and an ever joyous choir rings out. The Paladin rolls all given hit dice, dealing the total as radiant damage to every hostile creature in that radius. \page

You cannot apply smite to this attack. #### A Warriors Reflexes Beginning at 7th level, You have spent so long on the battlefield and studying tactics you have learned to predict enemy movements to almost certainty. When you make an attack of opportunity as a reaction, you can do so at advantage. #### Extra attack Beginning at 15th level, you can attack three times, instead of twice, whenever you take the attack action on your turn. #### Perfect Warrior Beginning at 20th level, you have honed your ability in combat to perfection. You gain the following abilities: * Once per turn when you make a melee weapon attack and apply your smite paladin feature, you can add 2d8 damage of your weapon type to the attack. * You gain resistance to all bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage. * You gain a permanent +2 to your AC while wearing heavy armor. \page

In addition, on a successful attack against the creature, deal 1d6 necrotic damage. **Violent Force.** As an action, you can use your Channel Divinity to make a single melee attack against a number of creatures you can see within 5 feet of you. You can target a number of creatures equal to your Proficiency modifier. You cannot apply smite or other feature bonuses to these attacks. ``` ``` #### Whistling Light Beginning when you take this oath at 3rd level, you have learned to push your holy power away from you with violent force. Whenever you hit with a ranged weapon attack while in light or medium armor, you may apply smite damage. However with the added exertion of the push, the damage is lessened. When you roll for smite damage on a ranged weapon attack, the die become d6's instead. #### Additional Fighting Style Option Starting at 3rd level, you have learned techniques for fighting from ranged. You can change your fighting style once, and gain the following option to choose from. **Archery.** You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons. #### Aura of Shade Beginning at 7th level, you exude an aura that provides an extra shroud for your friends around you. You and every ally within 10ft of you gain a bonus to Dexterity (stealth) checks equal to your Charisma modifier. At 18th level, the range of this aura becomes 30 feet and creatures within your aura also get advantage on Dexterity (stealth) checks. #### Well-hidden Starting at 7th level, you can try to hide when lightly obscured from creatures from which you are hiding and have advantage on Dexterity (stealth) checks to hide in total darkness. #### Improved Smite Variant Your improved smite paladin ability can now be applied to ranged weapon attacks. #### Evasion Beginning at 15th level, you can nimbly dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as an ancient red dragon’s fiery breath or an ice storm spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail. #### Sly Critical Starting at 15th level, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. #### Invisible Stalker You have mastered the stealth kill and the unseen hunt. Starting at 20th level, you gain the following benefits. * You have advantage on, and can add your Charisma modifier to, your intitiative rolls. * Whenever you score a critical hit against a target with 100 hit points or less, the target must succeed a Constitution saving throw against your Spell save DC. On a failed save, the target dies. * You have advantage on Dexterity (stealth) checks to hide in dim light or while lightly obscured. * Your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20. * You can cast the *invisibility* spell once per long rest, targeting yourself. \page

As a reaction when you or a creature you can see within 30 feet of you would drop to 0 hitpoints, you can use your channel divinity to hold on to the last drop of life, and drop them to 1 hitpoint instead. **Dominate Undead.** As an action you can force an undead creature you can see within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom Saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failed save, you take full control of the creature for a number of rounds equal to your Charisma modifier. On a successful save, the creature takes 3d10 plus your Charisma modifier in Radiant damage. #### Deathless Balance Starting at 3rd level, the paladin has resistance to necrotic and radiant damage. #### Aura of Undying Starting at 7th level, an unnatural mist seems to follow you wherever you go. Any ally within 10ft of you can choose to auto-succeed their first death saving throw when reduced to zero hitpoints. Any concious ally within your aura gains resistance to necrotic damage.

At 18th level, the range of this aura becomes 30ft. ``` ``` #### Death's Greater Denial Beginning at 15th level, when you use your Channel Divinity for your **Deny Death** option, if you target yourself, you can use your Channel Divinity an additional time before needing to rest. #### Avatar of Deathlessness At 20th level, you stand as a guardian between life and death itself but a slave to neither. Which grants you the following benefits: * If you would drop to 0 hitpoints, you may make a Constitution Saving Throw against a DC of 5 + the damage taken. On a successful save, you drop to 1 hitpoint instead. * When you use your Channel Divinity for **Deny Death**, the target gains additional hitpoints equal to your Charisma modifier after dropping to 1. * When you use your Channel Divinity for **Dominate Undead**, the target has disadvantage on the Wisdom Saving Throw. On a successful save, the target takes 10d10 + your Charisma modifier in damage. \page

Beginning at 3rd level, you can spend 8 hours to study and learn, allowing you to change your favored enemy or natural terrain. You cannot change them both after a single 8 hour period and must be studying relevant information for your new chosen creature type or terrain.

You do not gain proficiency in any languages known by creature types you adapt to with this ability, but do not lose the language known by your previous type. #### Eagle Sight Beginning at 3rd level, you can expend a spell slot and target a beast within 100ft of you. For 1 minute, you can see through the creatures eyes. You do not control their sight, and cannot see anything around your body unless you are in the creatures line of sight.

This duration increases by 1 minute for each level above 1st of the spell slot you expend. #### Additional Fighting Style at 7th level, you have learned to adapt how you fight to suit the enemy and environment. This practice and training allows you to choose a second fighting style available to your class. #### Extra Attack Beginning at 11th level, you have gained the ability to attack three times, instead of twice, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. #### Fast Reflexes Starting at 15th level, you may take an additional reaction once per round. This reaction can only be used for an Opportunity Attack. \page

You learn additional cleric cantrips of your choice at higher levels, as shown in the Cantrips Known column of the Stolen Spellcasting table. **Spell Slots** The Stolen Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have. The table also shows what the level of those slots is; all of your spell slots are the same level. To cast one of your cleric spells of 1st level or higher, you must expend a spell slot. You regain all expended spell slots on a short or long rest. For example, when you are 13th level, you have three 3rd-level spell slots. To cast the 1st level spell *cure wounds*, you must spend one of those slots, and you cast it as a 3rd-level spell. **Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher** At 1st level, you know one 1st-level spell of your choice from the cleric spell list (excluding domain spells). The Spells Known column of the Stolen Spellcasting table shows when you learn more cleric spells of 1st level and higher. A spell you choose must be of a level no higher than what's shown in the table's Slot Level column for your level. When you reach 13th level, for example, you learn a new cleric spells, which can be 1st, 2nd or 3rd level. Additionally, when you gain a new level in this class, you can choose one of the cleric spells you know and replace it with another spell from the cleric spell list, which also must be of a level for which you have spell slots. **Spellcasting Ability** Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your cleric spells, so you use your Charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a cleric spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

**Spellcasting Focus** You can use the stolen holy symbol (found in chapter 5) as a spellcasting focus for your cleric spells. #### Do You Believe? Beginning at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in one Charisma based skill of your choice. Additionally, you have advantage on Charisma (deception) checks to scam or trick people with your "religion", however you also have disadvantage on Intelligence (religion) checks. #### Religious Guidelines This fake religion thing is starting to gain some momentum and you have small devout followings in the shadows. Starting at 9th level, you can choose a "guideline" that your fake religion follows, borrowing more power from your stolen god to fullfil. Choose one boon from the following. Note, some have prerequisites that must be met first. You choose an additional boon at 13th level, 15th level and 18th level. \page

##### Holy Shield *Prerequisite:* shield of faith *spell* You can cast the spell *shield of faith* targetting only yourself at will, without expendending a spell slot or material components. ##### Protector *Prerequisite:* shield of faith *spell* When you cast *shield of faith* by expending a spell slot you can choose to target a number of creatures up to half your Charisma modifier (rounded down). Concentration checks you make while maintaining the spell cast in this way are made at disadvantage. ##### Natural Leader *Prerequisite:* guidance *cantrip* When you cast *guidance* on a creature, other than yourself, that creature can use the effects of the cantrip twice before the spell ends. ##### Rejuvinate the Faithful *Prerequisite: 15th level* You can cast the spell *mass healing word* once without expending a spell slot or material components. You cannot do so again until you finish a long rest. ##### Falsified Doctrine You've learned to incorporate your thieves' cant into religious texts for your "religion", to hide it in plain written sight. Other creatures who are unfamiliar with your "religion" cannot decipher thieves' cant written this way. ##### Help the Sick *Prerequisite: 13th level* Whenever you use a spell of 1st level or higher to restore hitpoits to a creature, the creature regains additional hitpoints equal to 2 + the spell's level. ##### Torch to Light the Way You learn the *light* cantrip, and it counts as a cleric spell for you, but does not count against your number of cantrips known. ##### Diversive Following You learn 2 additional Standard Languages of your choice. ##### Protect Living Things You gain proficiency with either the Animal Handling skill, or the Nature skill. You cannot gain expertise in the chosen skill. ##### Rebuke Oppression *Prerequisite: 15th level* When a creature within 5 feet of you that you can see hits with an attack, you can use your reaction to for the attacker to make a Dexterity saving throw. on a failed save, the attacker takes 4d8 radiant damage, or half as much on a successful save. You can do this a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier per long rest.

##### We Work in the Shadows *Prerequisite: 13th level* You can use your action to touch a willing creature and give them advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks for 15 minutes, or until you use this feature again. ##### Sword of Faith When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher dealing damage to another creature, you can make a single weapon attack as a bonus action. You cannot sneak attack with this attack. ##### Purity of Your "Holiness" *Prerequisite: 18th level* You are always considered to be under the effects of a *protection from evil and good* spell. ##### Confessor *Prerequisite 18th level* You can cast the spell *speak with dead* without knowing the spell, expending a spell slot or material components, provided you witnessed the death of the creature within the last 24 hours, after which time the spell with require a spell slot and for the spell to be known, as normal. ##### Religious Determination *Prerequisite:* resistance *cantrip* You can cast the *resistance* cantrip as a bonus action if the target is not yourself. #### Shepherd of the Flock Starting at 9th level, you have learned you get more flies with honey, than with vinegar. You have learned you would be more fruitful in your taking, if you gave a little now and then. You can use the Help action as a bonus action. Additionally, when you use the Help action to aid an ally in attacking a creature, the target of that attack can be within 30 feet of you, rather than within 5 feet of you, if the target can hear or see you. The attack also deals additional damage equal to your Charisma modifier if it was the allys first attack that turn. #### Tricks of Faith You have become so accustomed to your divine magic, you have learned to manipulate it the slilghtest bit. Starting at 13th level, you can cast one of your cleric spells without expending a spell slot, but it is cast as if it were a level lower than your spell Slot Level as shown in the table. You can only do this once and regain your ability to do so upon finishing a short rest. #### Religious Fervor When you reach 17th level, you learn a new cleric spell (included in the Spells Known column) of 1st, 2nd or 3rd level. This spell can be a spell from the cleric domain list, or any *one* cleric domain spell. This spell must be of a level for which you have slots to cast it. When you gain more levels in this class, if you choose to change spells you know for other spells, this spell can be changed to another domain spell, but you cannot change any other cleric spell you know for a domain spell. \page

# Sorcerer ## Bloodcaster There are some in the world who have discovered a more potent source of magic than arcane learning. The blood. There is power in the blood of all of us, but few can stomach using their own blood as a weapon. Those who can, go on to become powerful spellcasters. Outlawed in most parts of the civilized world, bloodcasting has been almost forgotten in all but the shadiest corners of the planes. Bloodcasting however, has always been and still remains quite popular among the lizardfolk and goblins and gives them a slight edge in combat, albeit making them weaker for it. ##### Bloodcaster Origin | Sorcerer Level | Feature | |:----:|:-------------| | 1st | Bloodcasting | | 6th | Blood of Thine Enemies | | 14th | Blood Turning | | 18th | Font of Blood | #### Bloodcasting Starting at 1st level, you have managed to bend magic in such a twisted way that it consumes your own blood to do so. You no longer have spell slots to cast your Sorcerer spells, instead you increase your maximum hit points by the number of spell slots you would have at each level. This also means you no longer spend spell slots for casting spells, you instead cast by spending a number of hit points equal to the level of the spell. Additionally, your hit die for level 1 becomes a d8, and your maximum hit points should be adjusted accordingly.

If you cast more than the normal number of spell slots you would have (e.g casting 3 level 1 spells at 1st level) You take additional damage equal to, and temporarily reduce your maximum hit points by, the spells level however this cannot be done with spells higher than 5th level. Your hit point maximum is restored when you finish a long rest. #### Blood of Thine Enemies Starting at 6th level, when an enemy within 30 feet of you takes piercing or slashing damage, you can spend 2 sorcery points to use your reaction to deal extra damage equal to your Charisma modifier. You cannot use this feature if the target is an elemental, undead or constructs.

Additionally, if an ally within 30 feet of you takes piercing or slashing damage, you can spend 3 sorcery points to use your reaction to reduce the damage by your Charisma modifier. #### Blood Turning Starting at 14th level, when you regain hit points from a spell of 1st level or higher, you gain a Blood Charge. You can have a maximum of 1 blood charge and you can spend a Blood Charge in place of the hit point cost when you cast a spell of 3rd level or lower. You lose all stored Blood Charges when you finish a short or long rest. ``` ``` #### Font of Blood When you reach 18th level, your hit point maximum increases by an amount equal to twice your level. Whenever you gain a level thereafter your hit point maximum increases by 2. Additionally, you no longer reduce your hit point maximum for casting spells you would normally not have a slot for of 3rd level or lower. ### Font of Magic Variant As a Bloodcaster, you make the following changes to the Font of Magic Sorcerer feature.

**FLEXIBLE CASTING** You can use your sorcery points to regain hit points, or sacrifice hit points to gain additional sorcery points. You learn other ways to use your sorcery points as you reach higher levels.

**Creating Hit points.** You can transform unexpended sorcery points into temporary hit points as a bonus action on your turn. The Hit Points to Sorcery Points table shows the cost of creating temporary hit points for a given level. You can create no more than 25 hit points in this way in a turn. Any temporary hit points you create using this feature vanish when you finish a long rest.

**Converting hit points to Sorcery Points.** As a bonus action on your turn, you can reduce your hit points by up to 25 points, to regain Sorcery points equal to the reduced health as seen in the Hit Points to Sorcery Points table. You cannot use temporary hit points.

## Star-child Sometimes the spark of magic infused to a sorcerer’s soul comes from the cosmos, whether from the universe itself or the sentinels of light within it, keeping watch on those worlds below. Some murmur that once a star fell to earth and granted a select few her boon for their aid in her time of need and, from time to time, her powers manifest in the descendants of these brave heroes. Others whisper that when one is born during a rare celestial event the child will become star touched. Whichever the true origin, the innate magic sings the silvery song of the night, wrapping the sorcerer in its power and protection. ##### Star-child Features | Sorcerer Level | Features | |:----:|:-------------| | 1st | Cosmic Wrap, Darkvision | | 6th | Astrological Recovery | | 14th | Flight of Night | | 18th | One with the Darkness | #### Cosmic Wrap Starting at 1st level, you have felt yourself become one with the dark of night and can call on it at a moments notice. Once when you are the target of a Spell attack, or magical effect requiring a saving throw, you can use your reaction to add your Charisma modifier to your AC against the triggering attack, or to your saving throw against the triggering effect.

After you use this ability you cannot use it again until you complete a short or long rest.

Beginning at 3rd level, you can activate this ability additional times by spending 2 sorcery points as a reaction. This additional effect can only be used at night. #### Darkvision Starting at 1st level, you have become so accustomed to staring at the night sky you have deveoped the ability to see things in the dark that others can't. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light.

If you already have the Darkvision feature from something else, you extend your capability to be able to see in darkness as if bright light as well. #### Astrological Recovery By the time you reach 6th level, you have further strengthened your bond with the night sky. Once when you roll initiative and can see the night sky, you can regain expended sorcery points up to half your maximum number of points.

Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest.

When you reach 18th level, you can use this ability an additional time and both uses reset on a short or long rest. ``` ``` #### Flight of Night Starting at 14th level, you have studied the creatures of the night and delved deeper into the arcane and have started mixing the two to imitate the creatures yourself. As an action you can transform yourself into a bat and retain your ability to speak, personality, alignment, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma. You are still able to cast spells, requiring verbal components only but you cannot use material or somatic components. #### One with the Night Starting at 18th level, you have become so accustomed to working in darkness you have improved your sight near to the point where you see through darkness normally, as if it were light, and your darkvision now works in magical darkness as if it were not magical. Additionally, you gain a permanent boost to your armor class and saving throws equal to your Charisma modifier as the darkness swirls and contorts around you. You can no longer use your cosmic wrap class feature. \page

## Kitchenborn Origin Every few generations there is born an individual of such great gastronomic power that they are called "Kitchenborn". the Kitchenborn are the greatest kept secret of the culinary world and very few are ever discovered by outsiders. Whether using their abilities for gastronomy, or for the salvation of all mankind and every restaurant to ever exist and ever will exist, the Kitchenborn is a force to be reckoned with. ##### Kitchenborn Features | Sorcerer Level | Features | |:----:|:-------------| | 1st | Kitchen Witchery, Chefvision | | 6th | Iron Stomach, Chefvision Improvement | | 14th | Resourceful Palette | | 18th | Grand Master Chef | #### Kitchen Witchery Starting at 1st level, you find you have an unnatural, and quite frankly unnerving, affinity for recognizing and using kitchen utensils.

While holding any kitchen utensil, you may use this as a focus for your spells, and by focusing on the utensil for 10 minutes you can form a bond with it making you unable to be separated from the utensil except by magical means.

Additionally, you gain proficiency with cooks utensils. #### Chefvision Starting at 1st level, you have advantage on Intelligence (investigation) checks to discern the quality of an food item. In addition to this, any food item you make is of a higher quality in both taste and visual appeal.

When you reach 6th level, the food you make also grants temporary hitpoints equal to your proficiency bonus to anyone who eats it. #### Iron Stomach By the time you reach 6th level you have learned that not everyone is as fantastic a chef as you are. You gain resistance to poison damage, and immunity to the poisoned condition. #### Resourceful Palette Starting at 14th level, you have learned just how much power there is in food. Whenever you cast a spell requiring material components, you can replace any components without monetary value with items of food instead.

Additionally, When you do this, the spell is cast as if using a spell slot 1 level higher than your chosen level.

This has no effect on spells with an original level of 5th level or higher. ``` ``` #### Grand Master Chef Starting at 18th level, you have spent so long in the kitchen, you have learned to always know the direction of the nearest food-serving establishment. You also can now never be separated from your bonded kitchen utensil, even by magical means and any food you create grants temporary hitpoints equal to three times your Proficiency bonus.

Additionally, you can learn the spell *heroe's feast* if you do not already know it and you can cast it without material components once. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. \page

This deep communion allows you to cast a warlock spell as a ritual if the spell has the ritual tag and it is a spell you know. #### Bonus Proficiency Starting at 1st level, you gain proficiency in the arcana skill and double your proficiency bonus for any checks you make using this proficiency. #### Your Precious When you choose this archetype at 1st level, you must roll on the Trinket table. The trinket you roll is magical and sentient and is considered the source of your magic. You can communicate telepathically with the sentience possessing the object so long as you maintain physical contact with it.

You cannot be unwillingly separated from the trinket, unless unconscious, and once per long rest, you can tap into the artefacts knowledge to gain advantage on one Intelligence or Wisdom based skill check. ``` ``` #### Superior Attunement Through extensive time analyzing and being around magical items, you have learned how to manipulate the drain attuning to items has on you. Starting at 6th level, you are able to be attuned to 4 items at once, instead of the normal 3.

#### Enchantment Manipulation Starting at 10th level, you have created such a devoted bond to the arcane magics that infuse with items. You know how to manipulate it the arcane essence fueling the magics of items.

Once per short rest, as an action you can draw the arcane power from one magical item you are attuned to. You regain one of your expended warlock spell slots.

The item then temporarily becomes mundane, losing its magical properties. It stays mundane and you do not benefit from its magical properties until you finish a long rest.

Additionally, you have learned to channel the magic that enchants these items into other items as well. by spending 10 minutes per level of spell when casting a spell with yourself as the target, you can instead choose to imbue the spell into a mundane item you are currently holding.

The spell is then stored in the item for a number of hours equal to your Charisma modifier and does not lose the stored spell if you give the item to someone else. They can then cast the spell stored once and the item loses this property. #### Arcane Command Beginning at 14th level, you have mastered how to "turn on and off" the arcana in magical items, and draw on their power.

As a bonus action, you can draw the arcane power out of an attuned magical item, making it temporarily mundane. If you do so, you can cast a Warlock spell of 1st level or higher without expending a spell slot, as if you had cast it at the highest level available to you as an action this turn.

The item stays mundane until you finish a long rest. \page

## Pact of the Zumba Deep in the depths of the Nine Hells there is a demon so malicious, so malignant they are despised by all others. These demons, known in the Shuurg tongue as Zumba's, are creatures of rythm and movement, which is reflected in the boons branted to unwitting warlocks who sign their contracts. Starting at 1st level, when you roll initiative you can choose to hear "The Beat". The Beat lasts for 1 minute and during that time you cannot be knocked prone or magically put to sleep. The *slow* spell also has no effect on you if cast while hearing The Beat. If you were already under the effect of the slow spell, you cannot hear the beat. While under the effect of Own Tempo, you can also take the dodge action as a bonus action. ``` ``` #### Bonetown Moves Through hypnotic rythm and movements, you have learned to channel positive energy into the dead. Starting at 6th level, you can cast your warlock spell *animate dead* once per long rest without expending a warlock spell slot. #### Motion Sync Starting at 10th level, the movement of your dances have the power to ensnare the souls of nearby enemies, temoprarily using their tempo to increase your own. While under the effect of Own Tempo, the first time you slay humanoid, you can extend the duration of your Own Tempo by 1 minute. #### Lord of the Danse Beginning at 14th level, you have almost come to master the powerful dance Zumba has bestowed upon you. As an action while Own Tempo is active, for the duration of that beat you can enter a state of motion that does not tire and will not slow. While in this state your Own Tempo ability lasts a number of minutes equal to your Charisma modifier. Additionally, you gain the following benefits: * Melee attacks against you have disasdvantage and your melee attacks are made at advantage. * You have advantage on Dexterity saving throws. * You cannot be charmed by magical means. \page

# Wizard ## The Archivist

Also, the gold and time needed to copy a spell into your spellbook or onto a spell scroll is reduced to 3/4 of the original cost. #### Adept of history Beginning at 2nd level when you choose this archetype, you gain proficiency on Intelligence (History) checks. If you already have proficiency, you gain expertise instead, doubling your proficiency for those checks. #### Knowledge is the Beast Weapon Beginning at 2nd level when you choose this archetype, you can spend an action to focus on one creature you can see within 60 feet of you. You immediately learn knowledge of your choice about the target. Either AC, Type, Movement speed or Immunities, Vulnerabilities and Resitances. The target is then immune to your discerning gaze for 24 hours. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest. #### Field Research By having studied a number of creatures, places or objects you gain certain benefits derived from the information you've both gathered yourself, and read about before. Starting at 6th level, you choose 2 subjects you've done extensive research before as outlined below and gain their respective benefits. When you reach 12th level in this class you can choose 1 additional area of research and gain that benefit also.

**Landmarking.** You gain proficiency in the primordial dialect of *Terran*. You and any allies within 20 feet of you can travel without fear of getting lost and can travel at a fast pace without taking a penalty to passive Wisdom (Perception) scores.

**Communication is Key.** Once per short rest, you can add your Intelligence modifier to one Charisma ability check you make. You also gain proficiency in one language of your choice.

**Fey Influence.** You gain proficiency in *Sylvan*. Once per short rest, you can fill the mind of a creature with screamings of the Fey, granting them disadvantage on Wisdom Saving Throws for the next 1 minute or until they succeed a Wisdom Saving Throw.

**Redirected Magics.** You gain proficiency in *Deep Speech*. Once per short rest, when you are the target of a spell that you can see that deals damage, you can use your reacion to only take half the amount, and deal the same amount taken to the enemy who cast the spell, as force damage.

**Heart of Fire.** You gain proficiency in the primordial dialect of *Ignan*. Once per short rest, when you target a single creature with a spell of first level or higher dealing fire damage, You can choose an additional target within 10 feet to take half the damage dealt.

**Divine Blessing.** You gain proficiency in your choice of *Celestial* or *Abyssal*. Once per short rest, you can imbue an Ally with divine light, For 1 minute, at the start of each of their turns, they regain 1 hitpoint.

**Fiendish Indomitability.** You gain proficiency in *Abyssal*. You automatically succeed Saving Throws against *Fear* effects When targetted by a Fiend or Undead.

**Astrology.** As stars align, the Celestials grant you sight and speech. Once per short rest, you gain proficiency in the *Celestial* language. For 1 minute you are able to see through solid objects up to 60 feet that are not being worn or carried by any entity.

**Peace Between Nations.** You learn one additional Standard Language of your choice. Once per short rest, as a reaction, when a creature within 30 feet of you makes an attack you can force it to make a Wisdom Saving Throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failed save the creature does not attack and their action is wasted.

#### I've Read About That Before.. Starting at 10th level, When you make a skill check in an Intelligence skill you are proficient in and the total is lower than your intelligence score, you can instead use your intelligence score in it's place. You can declare this after the roll, but must declare it before you know if the roll succeeds or not. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. #### Walking Library Having gathered such an amount of knowledge, some would consider you to be a walking library. When you reach 14th level, you can choose to add to your spellbook a number of spells, 5th level or lower, equal to half your Intelligence modifier (rounded up) from any other class. Treat them as Wizard spells and use your Intelligence modifier to cast. \page

## The Runesmith

****RESTRICTED TO DWARVES****

As a runesmith, you have dedicated many years in the dwarven forges surrounded by hot iron, magma and runic drawings. You, and those who studied with you, continue the noble art known only to the dwarves, and believe in the protection of such secrets. ##### Runesmith Features | Wizard Level | Feature | |:----:|:-------------:| | 2nd | Bonus Proficiencies, Novice Runesmithing, Runic Initiative | | 6th | Apprentice Runesmithing, Extra Attack | | 10th | Journeyman Runesmithing, Runic Tinkering | | 14th | Master Runesmithing, Runic Contingency | #### Bonus Proficiencies Starting at 2nd level, you gain proficiency in light and/or medium armor as well as shields. If you are already proficient in both, gain proficiency in heavy armor instead. You also gain proficiency in Runesmiths tools, detailed at the bottom of this document.

#### Novice Runesmithing You have learned how to imbue your arcane studies into otherwise mundane objects through the use of runic scribings and symbology. Beginning at 2nd level, when you cast a single action 1st-level spell, using a spell slot of 1st level, with a range of self, you can instead choose to increase its casting time to 10 minutes. If you do so, you can expend the spell slot to "store" the spell inside a rune inscribed stone you possess, to be saved for later. You must make an Intelligence (arcana) check against a DC of 10 + the spells level. On a success, the spell is stored and can be cast later. If you fail, the spell is lost.

While a spell is stored in this way, the runestone will glow brightly for 4 hours and you cannot recover the spell slot used to imbue it. At the end of that time, or if the spell is cast, the rune will dim and the spell inside will fade.

You can cast the stored spell as an action, or a bonus action. if cast as a bonus action the spell cannot be concentrated on, only applies for one round, any damage it deals is halved, or a saving throw against it has advantage. When a spell is cast in this way, the spell uses your Spell Attack modifier or Spell Save DC.

You may only have a number of runestones imbued equal to half your Intelligence modifier (rounded down), and you cannot use this ability on spells that require concentration. #### Runic Initiative Beginning at 2nd level, Whenever you roll initiative while you have a carved rune active, add twice your intelligence modifier to your roll, otherwise add your intelligence modifier once. ``` ``` #### Extra Attack Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack acion on your turn.

#### Apprentice Runesmithing You have advanced your knowledge and understanding of the magics harnessed by runescribing to now allow you to store spells with a range of self or touch. Beginning at 6th level, A spell cast through a runestone with a range of touch affects one creature within 5 feet of the caster. Additionally, you can now imbue a number of runes equal to your intelligence modifier.

#### Journeyman Runesmithing Starting at 10th level, you can use your runesmithing ability on spells between 1st and 6th level, with any range. Spells with a range of self target the caster, a range of touch targets an appropriate number of targets within 5 feet of the caster, and all other spells target appropriate creatures chosen by the caster within the range of the stored spell.

Runes you imbue with spells now stay active for 8 hours before the spell fades, if the spell is not cast. #### Runic Tinkering Also starting at 10th level, your melee weapon attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

If a weapon is already magical, instead gain an additional +1 to attack and damage rolls with that weapon.

Additionally, When you make an arcana check for your runesmithing tools, you can reduce the DC by your intelligence modifier. You can only do this once, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a short or long rest. #### Master Runesmithing When you reach 14th level, you no longer need to make Arcana checks to use your runesmithing tools. Additionally, when you use your Arcane Recovery feature to regain expended spell slots, you can instead renew the duration on all currently imbued runes. #### Runic Contingency With your understanding of runes and magic, you are now able to extend your capabilities beyond the average runescribes, to include reaction spells in your repertoire. Starting at 14th level, you can imbue a runestone with a spell that costs 1 reaction. When you do so, regardless of the spells level, you must expend a slot of 6th level or higher. You can only imbue a reaction spell in this way, and when you do so, you can cast that spell without using your reaction. Only one runestone can be activated in this way per round.

##### Runesmiths Tools (20gp+smith's tools) These tools are unique to Runesmiths, and are often family heirlooms, passed down through dwarvish generations. They include the basic tools used in runecrafting and inscribing and are invaluable. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen and must be recovered instead, as it is seen as a great dishonor to misplace tools of such well-guarded secrets.
