# College of Magical Artisans Art can show the wonders of life. Where most students of the Bardic arts channel their magic through music and performance, you have honed your craft with a paintbrush or pen instead. Bards of the College of Magical Artisans know how to bring life to art. Many use this power to entertain and delight, but it can also be used to horrify and torture.
*"Art is my life and my life is art."* - Yoko Ono #### Bonus Proficiency When you join the College of Magical Artisans at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with calligrapher's supplies or painter's supplies. You add double your proficiency bonus to checks using your chosen tool set and you may use them as a spellcasting focus. #### Animate Illustration Also at 3rd level, you learn how to conjure objects and creatures from your art. You can use your action to quickly draw or paint an object or creature and summon it forth from the medium it was created on. You may keep an animated illustration in existence so long as you concentrate on it, up to 1 hour. When an animated illustration is reduced to 0 hit points or the effect otherwise ends, it reverts to it's original form. A creature can determine that an item or creature is a magical creation and not real with a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. ##### Object Animation The object created can be no larger than a 10-foot cube and its form must be that of a nonmagical object that you have seen. Whatever you choose to create has AC 10 and hit points equal to five times your bard level. Ranged weapons created by this feature are created with 15 pieces of ammunition. Otherwise, weapons and armor created by this feature function as normal. Nothing created by this feature can have a value greater than 100 gp. A close inspection of anything created by this feature reveals that it is comprised of paint, ink, or some other visual arts medium. ##### Creature Animation Any creature created through this must be a beast and appears within 10 feet of you. This beast must have a challenge rating of 1/4 or lower and it's form must be one that you have seen. The bease adds your proficiency bonus to it's AC, attack rolls, and damage rolls. It obeys your commands as best as it can. You can use your bonus action to verbally command it to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, or Help action (if you control multiple creatures, you can command any or all of them at the same time, issuing the same command to each one) or you can issue a general command, such as to guard a particular chamber or corridor. If you don't issue any commands to it, it takes the Dodge action and does not move. #### Vibrant Color At 6th level, you no longer need to concentrate on the first creature or item created through your Animate Illustraion ability. This does not affect the duration. In addition, any damage dealt by a creature or item you have created through your Animate Illustration ability counts as magic for purposes of overcoming resistances and immunity from non-magical attacks and damage.#### Mirror, Mirror Starting at 14th level, you are able to create a specific person or creature through your Animate Illustration ability. You must be able to see the creature you wish to duplicate.

You must be able to see the creature you wish to duplicate. This duplicate appears to be the same as the original, using all the statistics of the creature it duplicates. The duplicate is mindless and does not have the memories or personality of the target. If the target creature is able to cast spells, the created creature only has the ability to cast up to 5th level spells.
