\page ### About This Book This book was inspired by the cryptic and mysterious Innoxia Hemlock of The Dulrog College. In his adventures it was realized that necromancy in the current age is limited and underwhelming compared to the other schools of magic. So through experimentation and research into forbiden knowledge, the secrets in this book were brought together. Many are new creations, and others are long lost or burried secrets used in the creation of many undead creatures. With these secrets, many new and old necromancers' powers and reach can be epanded like never before. ___ It should be kept in mind that necromancy itself is not evil. It is simply the school of study of the flesh, the soul, and their conections to life, death, and the undoing of them. Just as an evocation master could easily be a force of unbridled death and destruction, so too can a necromancer be a savior and protector. Any learners of magic and the arcane or weilders of the power of higher entities can make use of these secrets for whatever ends they wish. Many cleric and druids every day use necromancy to restore life to fallen comrades and innocents, despite their disdain for the use of the school be others. Any burgeoning necromancers are encouraged to seek their own path and not just follow in the footsteps of many liches and cultists that have come before them. That is unless that is the path they choose to follow, who is anyone to judge. Innoxia himself was a dedicated doctor, healer, and herbalist who also built a powerful horde that he used to lay waste to hundreds of foes who joined the ranks of his hordes. However no matter how one plans to use it, one should always keep in mind not all will be as opened minded, and even in a wiser world, power will always challenge power, and building armies may force the hand of rivals and even perceived allies. ___

\page # Spells ## Cantrips #### Blighted Touch *cantrip necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Touch - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard You touch a creature, imbuing them with necromantic energies that burns and rots them from the inside. Make a melee spell attack on a creature within 5ft of you. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 necrotic damage. This spell has no effect on constructs or undead. If you target a plant creature or a magical plant, the spell deals double damage. If you target a non-magical plant that isn't a creature that would be no larger than a medium-sized creature, the plant withers and dies instantly This spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level(2d8), 11th level(3d8), and 17th level(4d8) #### Blood Blade *cantrip necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Self - **Components:** V, S, M(a small knife) - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard Giving youself a small cut you draw forth some of your blood that hardens into the shape of a longsword. For the duration, you can use your spellcasting ability instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls with this longsword, and it 1d8 slashing damage. The sword is also considered magical to overcome immunities and resistances. If you loose concentration on the spell, the blood liquefied droping to the ground and you loose 8 hit points. The spell ends if you cast it again, or you use a bonus action to end it early. ``` ``` #### Blood Boil *cantrip necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 30ft - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** 3 Rounds - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard This spell attempts to wrench the blood in a foe's body causing it to warm and build in preasure. Choose one creature you can see within range. For the spell's duration at the start of it's turns, that creature must make a Constitution Saving Throw. On a failure, it takes 1d4 fire damage and has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until the end of its turn. A creature can only be effected by this spell once during its duration. Creatures without blood are immune to this spell. At 5th level, the spell deals 2d4 necrotic damage. At 11th level it deals 3d4, and at 17th level it deals 4d4. #### Soul Lantern *cantrip necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** touch - **Components:** V, S, M(an unlit torch, lantern, candle, or other light source) - **Duration:** 1 hour - **Classes:** Cleric, Sorcerer, Warock, Wizard You touch the unlit light source. The item busts into magical blue flames giving a bright blue light for 15 feet and 15 feet dim light beyond that. Any undead you do not control with an intelligence of 7 or lower entering or starting their turn in the bright range must make a Wisdom Saving Throw or be unable to move closer. The light gives off a soft yet unearthly wail that seems to come from inside the viewer's own head when stared at. The light can be extinguished as a bonus action. ___ #### Undead Strike *cantrip necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 60 feet - **Components:** V - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard This spell raises an undead servant for a brief moment. Choose a corpse of a Small or Medium creature within range and then another creature within 30 feet of the corpse. The corpse stands and runs to the target, attacking it once using your spell attack modifier before becoming inanimate once again. The target takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage. Damage done by this spell is considered magical for sake of overcoming resistances. The corpse attacks the target more than once when you reach higher levels: twice at 5th level, three at 11th level, and four at 17th level.

\page ## Leveled Spells ## 1st Level #### Animate Claw *1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 10 feet - **Components:** V, M(a dagger) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Until Dispelled - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard, Artificer This spell animates a creature's hand into an undead servants. Choose a corpse within range and magically sever its hands, creating up to 2 Crawling Claws under your control(the DM has the creature's game statistics) using the rules of the spell *Animate Dead*. The Crawling Claws remain under your control until the spell ends or they die. If you cast this spell again, previously created Crawling Claws become inanimate. #### Blood Transfusion *1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** touch - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneos - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard You touch two creatures within 5ft of you, a donor and recipient, magically drawing blood from one and using it to heal the other. The donor takes nectrotic damage equal to their hit die(largest if multiple) + your spellcasting ability. The recipient gains hit points equal to damage dealt to the donor. The donor must be a creature with blood and can not be undead. Unwilling donor must make a Constitution Saving Throw, on a success nothing happens. If the recipient is at full hit points the spell fails instantly and does nothing. ***At Higher Levels:*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd Level or higher, the damage increases by die per spell slot above 1st. #### Corpse Explosion *1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 60 feet - **Components:** S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard Detonate a pile of bones or corpse of a Medium or Small creature, or a zombie or skeleton you control within range. Each target within a 10 foot radius must make a Dexterity saving throw. The target takes 3d8 peircing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. If you use a skeleton or zombie to do so it dies. Bodies used for this spell become no longer usable for spells like *Animate Dead* that turns them into an undead creature. ``` ``` ___ #### Curse of Undeath *1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 60 feet - **Components:** S, V - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 hour - **Classes:** Cleric, Wizard, Warlock Choosing a humanoid creature in range, the target must make a Constitution Saving throw. On a failure the target is bound in dark energies that curses them. If they die while the curse is upon them, the curse fills their corpse with the foul mimicry of life, raising them as a zombie under you control, using the rules of the spell *Animate Dead*. The zombie is under your control for the duration as long as you maintain concentration. Once the spell ends your hold over the zombie ends and it stops obaying your commands. You can cast the spell *Animate Dead* on the zombie before the spell ends to maintain control. Creatures under the effects of the Spell *Protection From Good and Evil* can not be targeted by this spell #### Forceful Regurgitation *1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 60 feet - **Components:** S, V - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard, Bard Targeting a creature in range, you fill them with dark energy and power that causes a wave of sickness and nausea to wash over them. The creature must make a Constitution saving throw. The creature will spend its next action wretching and vomiting on a failed save becoming poisoned for 1 minute. Nothing happens if the target succeeds the saving throw.

\page #### Raise Undead Familiar *1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 hour - **Range:** 10 feet - **Components:** V, S, M(10gp of herds, incense, charcoal that must be consumed by fire in a brass brazier, and the corpse or skeleton of a beast) - **Ritual:** Yes - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Wizard, Rogue(Arcane Trickster), Fighter(Eldritch Knight) Cast much like the traditional find familiar spell, but before it is complete, you bind the fey or fiend you summon to the corpse or skeleton of a beast used in this spell. The beast must be one listed as a potential familiar in the traditional spell. The familiar will take the stats of whatever creature's body is used, but will be undead, giving it immunity to poison and the poisoned condition. This spell can also be used to create a Crawling Claw with the hand of a Medium or Small humanoid. Due to the extraplainer being bound to this undead creature, it has resistance to the effects of Turn Undead. ___ Your familiar acts independently of you, but it always obeys your commands. In Combat, it rolls its own Initiative and acts on its own turn. A familiar can't Attack, but it can take other Actions as normal. ___ When the familiar drops to 0 Hit Points, it will instead regain 1 hit point fall unconcious until the start of its next turn. It will do this a number of times equal to you spell casting ability modifier, regaining expended uses of this ability after every long rest. Once all uses of this ability is used, it will die perminatly. If the corpse or skeleton is disintagrated or insinerated, then the familiar dies perminatly. ___ If it is perminatly dropped below 0 Hit Points, or you permanently dismiss the being bound to the corpse or skeleton, it dies, and the corpse or skeleton used to create it drops to the ground, but can be reanimated with another casting of the spell as long as you have access to it. ___ While your familiar is within 100 feet of you, you can communicate with it telepathically. Additionally, as an action, you can see through your familiar's eyes and hear what it hears until the start of your next turn, gaining the benefits of any Special Senses that the familiar has. During this time, you are deaf and blind with regard to your own Senses. ___ You can't have more than one familiar at a time. If you cast this spell on another corpse or skeleton while you already have a familiar or undead familiar, you instead bind the new corpse or skeleton under your control and the other familiar disappears or drops dead. ___ Finally, when you Cast a Spell with a range of touch, your familiar can deliver the spell as if it had cast the spell. Your familiar must be within 100 feet of you, and it must use its Reaction to deliver the spell when you cast it. If the spell requires an Attack roll, you use your Attack modifier for the roll.

#### Repair Undead *1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** touch - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard, Warlock, Bard, Artificer You touch an undead creature and restore it with necromantic magic. The undead regains hit points equal to 1d8+your spellcasting ability modifier. This spell has no effect on non-undead. ***At Higher Levels:*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd Level or higher, the spell is increased by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st.

#### Shadow Curse *1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 30 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (Obsidian shard worth 15gp) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 hour - **Classes:** Bard, Cleric, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard You choose a creature in range, cursing the them with dark energy that corrupts it's shadow, causing it to rise and form into a *Shadow*. The *Shadow* takes the form of the cursed creature and becomes hostile towards it, using all actions and movement to attempt to kill the target. If the target creature or the *Shadow* dies the shadow disappears and the spell ends. A remove curse spell also ends the spell. #### Tongues Curse *1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 30 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (A dried and mummified tongue) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 hour - **Classes:** Bard, Cleric Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard You choose a creature within range, forcing the target to make a Wisdom Saving throw. On a failure, the target is cursed with the inability to speak language. For the duration, whenever the target speaks they can only say incoherent gidderish. Spells such as *Comprehend Languages* and *Tongues* will not aid in comprehension as the gibberish is meaningless. This spell will also make it impossible for the target to cast any spell with a Verbal component. A remove curse spell ends this spell. ``` ``` #### Undead Servant 1st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 minute - **Range:** 10 feet - **Components:** V, S, M(pinch of ashes and a vial of blood) - **Ritual:** Yes - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 hour - **Classes:** Wizard, Sorcerer, Artificer, Bard Choose a pile of bones or a corpse of a Medium or Small Humanoid within range. Your spell imbues the target with a foul mimicry of life, raising it as an Undead creature. The target becomes a Skeleton if you chose bones or a Zombie if you chose a corpse (the DM has the creature's game statistics). On each of your turns, you can use a Bonus Action to mentally Command the creature you make with this spell to do any simple action or task you ask it besides attack another creature. The creature is under your control until the spell ends, After which it becomes inanimate once more.

#### Accelerated Regeneration *2nd level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** touch - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute - **Classes:** Artificer, Wizard, Sorcerer All creatures have the ability to heal themselves with time, using magic to draw forth that energy inside them, you can expedite that natural recovery. Drawing from the creature's pool of hit dice, you heal a creature for one of its hit dice+their Constitution Modifier+your spellcasting ability modifier. On subsequent turns, as an action, you can continue the healing on the same creature for the spell's duration. If the creature has no hit dice to spare, the spell instead causes a level of exhaustion of up to 5 level before the spell fails and ends. This spell has no effect on undead or constructs. ***At Higher Levels:*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the healing increases by one additional hit die and/or level of exhaustion for each slot level above 2nd. ## 2nd Level #### Animate Steed *2nd level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 10 minutes - **Range:** 30 feet - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantanous - **Classes:** Wizard, Artificer This spell creates an Undead mount. Choose a pile of bones or a corpse of a a Warhorse, a pony, a camel, an elk, or a Mastiff. (Your DM might allow Other Animals to be animated as steeds.). Your spell imbues the target with a foul mimicry of life, raising it as an Undead creature. The target becomes a Skeleton if you chose bones or a Zombie if you chose a corpse. The undead beast will follow any commands you give to it, but will otherwise act as a trained mount rideable by any creature you allow. You can have up to 2 of these creatures bound to you at a time. If you cast this spell on 3 or more creatures, you will loose control over the oldest one. An unbound mount is rideable by anyone and will follow the commands of any humanoids who apoach it. #### Body Seizure *2nd level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 reaction - **Range:** touch - **Components:** S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard, Artificer As a reaction you can touch a creature that is attacking you or an ally with a melee attack in range, using magic to cause their muscles to tighten and stiffen. The creature must make a Constitution saving throw or be incapacitated until the start of its next turn on a failure, causing the attack to miss. On a success, nothing happens. This spell has no effect on any creatures like iron gollems, water elemental, or ghosts that don't have a body with muscles. Undead like zombies, and creatures like Flesh Golems can still be effected.

\page #### Spectral Mist *2nd level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 60 feet - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Concentration, 1 minute - **Classes:** Wizard, Sorcerer You exhale a 15 foot radius sphere of blood tinged, shadowed mist centered on you. The mist spreads around corners, but not through solid obstructions. If you move, the mist attempts to follow to remain centered on you, moving up to 10 feet at the end of your turn. Area covered by the mist is considered heavily obscured. You may cast touch range spells against creatures not adjacent to you if you are both in contact with the mist. The Mist lasts for the duration, until a wind of moderate speed or greater, you move more that 20ft away from the mists, or you dismiss it as a bonus action. #### Treat Wounds *2st level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 10 mimutes - **Range:** touch - **Components:** S, M(a full healer's kit which is consumed) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Wizard, Artificers Using medicines and tools, you touch a creature and end either one simple disease or one condition afflicting it. The condition can be blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or poisoned. This spell has no effect on undead or constructs. ``` ``` ## 3rd Level #### Animated Blade *3rd level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 30 feet - **Components:** V, S, M(a melee weapon) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Concentration for up to 1 minute - **Classes:** Wizard, Sorcerer, Bard You pick a melee weapon in range that is not being carried, or carried by willing creature, extending part of your soul to it. The weapon begins to float, a haze of unnatural green energy enveloping it. You command it to strike, using your spell attack modifier, at one creature in range. On each of your turns for the duration you can use a bonus action to command it to strike again and move it up to 30 feet with range, or to drop concentration on the spell. The weapon is considered magic for the purpose of overcoming resistances or immunities. Your Spell Save DC becomes it's AC while you control it, and any damage dealt to the weapon is transferred as necrotic damage to you. ***At Higher Levels:*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th Level or higher, you can target an additional melee weapon for every spell level above 3rd. #### Animate Beasts *3rd level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 minute - **Range:** 10 ft - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Cleric, Wizard, Druid This spell creates an Undead servant. Choose from piles of bones or corpses any beasts within range that can be one of the following choices: * One beast of challenge rating 2 or lower * Two beasts of challenge rating 1 or lower * Four beasts of challenge rating 1/2 or lower * Eight beasts of challenge rating 1/4 or lower Your spell imbues the targets with a foul mimicry of life, raising them as Undead creatures. The targets become Skeletons if you chose bones or Zombies if you chose corpses (the DM has the creature's game statistics). This spell works the same as, and in conjuntion with the *Animate Dead* spell and creatures made with this spell are to be considered to be under that spell after this spell is cast. As long as you can cast both this spell and *Animate Dead* you can use that spell to cast this one. **At Higher Levels:** When you cast this spell or the *Animated Dead* spell using a spell slot of 4th Level or higher, you animate or reassert control over twice the number of undead beasts as listed above for each slot above 3rd. Each of the creatures must come from a different corpse or pile of bones.

#### Binding Command *3rd level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** touch - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Concentration for up to 1 hour - **Classes:** Bard, Cleric, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard You touch a creature infusing them with dark magic that forces them to do your bidding. The target creature must make a Wisdom saving throw and on a failure they are cursed. As part of the casting, you define a set of preramiters of any commands you wish it to follow as well as any times the target must complete and/or attempt to complete the comands if applicable. This can include but is not limited to: killing a creture, defending a creature, saying something, not saying something, give a creature an object, bidding an object, or preform a service of some kind. You may also chose to set parameters for the spell to end early; for example, with a command phrase or completion of a task. This curse is marked with a black symbol on their body where you touched them. A casting of Remove Curse or Greater Restoration ends this spell early. If the target does not and/or does not attempt to do as commanded when instructed they will begin to take 1d8 necrotic damage per turn and their max hit points are reduced by the damage dealt until the curse ends. If they attempt to do something they were commanded not to, they must make a Wisdom saving throw, failing to do so and taking the above damage on a failure and only taking the damage on a success. A creature who dies as a result of this spell can not be revived by a spell of 5th level or lower. If the creature willingly submits to the spell and does not resist it, the spell is perminate lasting as long as you are alive and does not require concentration, and requires a casting of Remove Curse or Greater Restoration with a 9th level spell slot to be ended. **At Higher Levels:** If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the duration and concentration, up to 5 hours. If you use a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the duration is 8 hours. If you use a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the duration is 24 hours. If you use a 9th level spell slot, the spell lasts until it is dispelled. The creature can repeat their death saving throws on your turns while you concentrate on this spell. If the creature succeeds their saves, or rolls a natural 20 on any of their saves, they are brought back to life with 1 hit point. If your concentration is broken before the duration is up, and the creature has not recovered, the spell fails and the creature is left dead. If the creature already failed its death saving throws from this spell, the spell will not have any effect on them with future castings. This spell has no effect on constructs or the undead. #### Doom Wail *3rd level necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** self (40 foot cone) - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** 1 minute - **Classes:** Cleric, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard You spreads your arms and let out a piercing and baleful wail, the sound visibly laced with necrotic energy as it bursts outward in a 20ft radius. Each creature who can hear in range must make a Constution saving throw, taking 5d4 necrotic damage and gaining a level of exhaustion on a failure, or half the damage on a success. Creatures who start their turn within the radius of the wail must make a Constitution save or gain a level of exhaustion. All Exhaustion gains from this spell fades once the spell ends. ``` ```

Until the spell ends, you deal an extra 3d6 necrotic damage to the target whenever it is hit with an attack. Also, choose one ability when you cast the spell. The target has disadvantage on ability checks and saving throws made with the chosen ability. If the target drops to 0 hit points before this spell ends, you can use a bonus action on a subsequent turn of yours to curse a new creature. The creature's brain must be present and in decent condition. If the creature was dead for more than 10 days or undead this spell will have no effect.

As long as the creature was of CR 3 or less you do the following(any higher and the Spell fails): * Reduce the creature's maximum hitpoints and CR to 1/3 of what it had in life(rounded down, minimum of 22HP). * Restore its physical ability scores: Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution to that of 2 less than what it had in life(minimum of 13, 6, and 16 respectively). * Restore any of the creature's skills or traits it had in life excluding any spellcasting ability, adjusting to its new proficancy bonus and ability scores. The zombie remains under the control of the creature who raised it, continuing to follow the rules of the *Animate Dead* spell. If the zombie dies all effects of this spell end and it becomes a normal corpse. ***At Higher Levels:*** If casted with a spell slot of 4th or higher the maximum of the zombie's living CR increases by 2 for every spell level above 3rd. ___ #### Withering Blast *3rd level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 120 feet - **Components:** V, S, M(rotting flesh, and sulfur) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard A streak of black smoke shoots from your finger to a point of your choice in range. From that point errupts a blast of necromantic energy that spread in a 20ft radius that burns and eats at organic material. All creatures in the radius must make a Constitution saving throw or take 8d6 nectrotic damage, and suffers the effects of the poisoned condition until the start of your next turn. On a successful save they only take half the damage. They will then burry themselves in the ground digging their way in all direction in a 20ft. radius before going dormant. Whenever a creature walks over that area the claws will spring forth clawing and grabbing at them. When a creature enters or starts their turn in the field of claws they must make Strength saving throw. On a failed save the target takes 2d4 slashing damage and is grappled or half as much damage on a successful save. If the target fails by 5 or less they are dragged down becoming prone and restrained instead of grappled. A target may use their action to repeat the save. While moving through the area it is considered difficult terrain. You and whatever creatures you choose at time of casting can walk over the area unimpeded and without disturbing the burried claws. After all creatures who disturbed the claws are dead or move up to 50ft. away, the claws will reburry themselves and go dormant again. 1 You can use an action to end the spell and the claws will unburry themselves and return to the center. The field of claws has an AC of 12, 200 hit points, and stats of a Swarm of Crawling Claws, but only takes 2 damage when hit by a single target attack. ``` ``` #### Summon Spirit *4th level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 60 feet - **Components:** V, S, M(the heart of a humanoid that has died in the past 24 hours which is consumed) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 hour - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard, Warlock Crushing a humanoid heart in you hand and chanting dark words of power, the heart of the creature ignites in blue flames in your hand that is harmless to you. From the smoke the creature's spirit, if available, is called forth from the other side and appears in the form of a wraith or ghost in a space within range. Roll initiative for the creature, it moves on its turn. When you summon it, and on all of your subsequent turns, you can issue a verbal command(requiring no action on your part), telling it what it must do on its next turn. If you issue no command and your previous commands have been fulfilled it will defend itself from any hostile creatures. If your Concentration is broken, the creature doesn't disappear. Instead, you lose control of the creature, it becomes hostile toward you and your companions, and it might attack. An uncontrolled wraith or ghost can't be dismissed by you, and it disappears 1 hour after you summoned it. The DM has the creature's Statistics. #### Undead Puppet *4th level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 300 feet - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Concentration up to 1 hour - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard, Bard You establish a more powerful telepathic link with the medium and/or small humanoid undead you control. Through this link, you can more directly control and manipulate any of the undead creatures you control within range by imparting part of your soul into them. While this spell is active you can, as a bonus action, choose to fully immerse your consciousness into one of the creatures allowing you to see through its eyes and hear what it hears, gaining the benefits of any special senses that it has. While doing so, you can directly control its actions as if it were your own, and you can channel touch spells through its hands. During this time, you are deaf and blind with regard to your own senses. As a bonus action you can switch to a different creature under your control or return your consciousness to your body before the spell ends without breaking concentration on the spell. If the creature you are inhabiting dies, you can as a reaction switch to a different creature or to your body. You can also break concentration on this spell as a bonus action.

You can use a bonus action to control the horde if they are within 60 feet of you. (if you control multiple creatures, you can Command any or all of them at the same time, issuing the same Command to each one) The horde remains under your control for 24 hours, after which it stops obeying any Command you've given them. The creature regains sentience and intelligence. As part of casting the spell you make six Wisdom(Medicine) checks, using the results to determine the creature's ability scores(minimum of 8 for each score) The creature, while soulless and emotionless, will be able to act of its own accord the same as any Intelligent humanoid creature. It retains its undead traits and can still be affected by any spells or abilities that target undead, including Turn Undead. During the process, you can impart any memories, ideas, abilities, and skills you have into the creature. You can't create false memories for the creature. If no memories or ideas are imparted it will act as a newborn and must be taught. If another willing creatures wishes to aid you in the casting, you can impart the memories, ideas, abilities, or skills from them. When the spell is complete, the undead creature is no longer under your control and it's attitudes toward you and everyone else depends on how you treat it, and what memories and ideas you give it. Based on that, it might become hostile and possibly attack. If it dies no resurrecting spells will bring it back and it will require another casting of this spell for it to return to its previous state.

Dumping salt on the the corpse and crushing a black pearl before spreading it's dust over the sacrofice's chest, you generate a massive amounts of necrotic energy that seeps into the earth with the sacrific's blood, corrupting the land perminatly. All none-sentient plants rooted to the ground in the radius withers and turns black. The soil becomes barren and lifeless, no longer able to support life. Water turns black and becomes poisoned, killing any fish. Any burried corpses in the affected land rise as undead skeletons and zombies, and any creature that dies in the effected area will also rise after 1 hour if not removed. Spells that conjure or grows nature or holy energies on the land such as *Entangle*, *Plant Growth*, * Grasping Vine*, *Create Food and Water*, *Hallow*, *Temple of the Gods*, *Wall of Thorns*, and *Druid Grove* fail instantly. Choose one undead creature under your control, fusing a ruby into their chest where their heart would be. Cutting yourself and allowing some of your blood to touch the stone, you enfuse it with as much magicial power as you wish. To do so you must expend a number of spell slots of 1st level or higher with a maximum of 3rd, expending all spell slots of a perticular level before moving onto slots of a higher level. If all slots of that level are not available, you can not used slots of a higher level. All spell slots expended are transfer into the ruby and will become avaible to the creature to cast with. Next choose a number of spells you know or have prepared equal to you spellcasting ability modifier. The spells choosen must be of a level that was granted to the creature. The creature will know these spells and will be able to cast them with the spell slots made avalible to it. Next choose 2 cantrips you know for the creature to know and be able to cast as if it were a 5th level caster. Aternativly you can choose for it to know the spell *Eldritch Blast* as one of the cantrips it can know. It's spell attack bonus and spell DC are equal to yours at the time of casting this spell. The creature can not regain spell slots and when a slot is used, it is gone. When the creature expends all spell slots granted to it or it drops below 0 Hit Points, the ruby in it's chest will shatter, the spell will end, and the creature looses all ability to casts spells.

\page ___ #### Raise Graveyard *6th level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 hour - **Range:** 200 feet - **Components:** V, S, M(5 black candles, blood infused ink, diamond worth 200gp, and a sacrifice of a living creature) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Until Dispelled - **Classes:** Wizard, Cleric, Warlock Painting a dark ritual cirlce and ritualistically sacroficing a creature, you infuse foul necromantic power into a diamond that becomes a conduit of energy. Every corpse or pile of bone within range of this conduit is filled with foul mimicry of life that causes them to raise as undead monsters. Zombies if they are corpses and Skeletons in they are pile of bones. The monsters do not take commands from you or anyone, but will remain indifferent to you and anyone you wish. As part of the ritual you can set these undead to do one of the following: - **Nightly Raid:** The undead creatures rise after the sun sets and will form a horde that will all move towards the closest signs of life kill everything in its path. As the night wains they will return to the spot where that rose from by morning and become inert unless attacked in which case they will rise untill the attackers are dead or move more than 50 feet from them. - **Patrol:** The undead creatures will rise and endlessly patrol the area of effect of this spell untill destroyed - **Wander:** The undead creatures will rise and endlessly wander the land as a horde killing all living creatures in their path. The diamond has an AC of 15, 50 hit points, is resistant to all nonmagic damage, and immune to necrotic and psychic damage. It can not be physically moved as long as the Spell is active. If it is ever destroyed or has the spells Remove Curse or Greater Restoration of a level equal to or grater to the one used to cast on it, the spell will end. Additionally if you chose, you can create a command word that will end the spell if spoken within 10 feet of the diamond. Once the spell ends the diamond shatters into worthless dust and all creatures effected by it die and go inert. **At Higher Levels.** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the radius of the area effected increases by 200 feet for each level above 6th.

Starting by removing several of the organs and placing them in jars that you magically enchant. You then dry the body and enfuse the skin and remaining organs to preserve them, and slow the decomposition process to a near hault before wraping the body in linens. After the ritual is completed you will have created a mummy under your control. If the ritual is not completeled daily for the duration with a 25 or more hour hour gap between castings the spell fails and the body become unusable for this spell. On each of your turns, you can use a Bonus Action to mentally Command any mummy you made with this spell if the creature is within 60 feet of you (if you control multiple creatures, you can Command any or all of them at the same time, issuing the same Command to each one). You decide what action the mummy will take and where it will move during its next turn, or you can issue a general Command, such as to guard a particular chamber or corridor. If you issue no commands, the mummy only defends itself against Hostile creatures. Once given an order, the mummy continues to follow it until its task is complete. The mummy is under your control for 48 hours, after which the mummy must return to its sarcophagus which it will use all avaible actions and movement to do so, and rest inside for another 48 hours. If it can not get to its sarcophagus after 60 hours the mummy becomes crazed and hostile to all killing all in its path until it is killed or forced into its sarcophagus and trapped inside it for 48 hours. You can choose to command it to rest in the sarcophagus until you call upon it or when certain conditions you choose are met, such as a creature opening has entered a room or passage, or have interacted with a Choosen object. The you or the target of such commands must be within 120 feet of the mummy for it to sense this. While in its sarcophagus it remains completely still and inert as if under the effects of the *Feign Death* spell. You can bypass this need for rest with up to 2 mummies with a 9th level casting of *Create Undead* delaying it for 24 hours. **At Higher Levels** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher every day of casting, you can instead make a *Mummy Warrior*. If you use a 8th level spell slot or higher every day while casting, you can choose to make a *Mummy Lord* provided that the creature is willing, and able to cast 5th Level Cleric spells or higher.

These commands will act as the sole programing for the flameskull that it will follow to the letter, for the entirety of its existance if nessicary. You must be careful with These instructions, because they can never be changed after the ritual is complete. With an Intelligence of 16, flameskulls are smart and will act somewhat independently as it does everything in its power to preform its commands to the letter. The target becomes a skeleton if you chose bones or a zombie if you chose a corpse. The chosen creature takes on most of the stats of what it had in life, it's intelligence reduced to 3, its wisdom reduced to 5, and any DC saves are reduce by 3. It also gains resistance to necromantic damage and immunity to poison damage, immunities to the poisoned and exhausted conditions, and the Undead Fortitude trait(the DM has the creature's game statistics). However it gains no benefits from a long rest including spell slot and hitpoints. #### Voddoo Puppet *8th level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 hour - **Range:** touch - **Components:** V, S, M(300gp) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard You craft a doll that is vaguely humanoid in shape but otherwise is featureless. This doll has an AC of 13, 10 hitpoint, is vulnerable to Radiant damage, and is immune to Necrotic, Poison, and Psychic damage. When examined closely it is a magical item that radiates Necromantic energy. As an action you can take some biological material from a creature, such as hair, blood, feathers, scales, or skin and put it inside or attach it to the doll. The doll then warps and reshapes itself to more closely resemble that creature adopting any distinct features that identifies it as a toy representation of that specific creature; mimicking things like clothing or armor, hair style, noticeable scars, missing limbs, and general demeanor in the stiching of the face's expression. It will still clearly be a doll made of the same materials used to craft it, but with an uncanny likeness. Doing this curses the creature it is meant to represent, binding the doll and the creature. As an action you can replace the biological material in or on the doll with that of another creature causing the doll to change to look like them and moving the curse to them. The doll and the cursed creature must be on the same plane of existence for the doll's effects to work. The doll can not curse a creature if they are under the effects of the *Protection from Good and Evil* spell. Casting of the Remove Curse spell causes the curse to be removed from the creature and the biological material used to bind the doll to them withers away and the doll returns to its natural state. The doll has no effect on constructs or non-creature plants. As an action you can manipulate the doll while it is cursing a creature, causing the target to mimic the doll in performing an action such as to lie down, attack, run, jump, or drop something. The creature must make a Wisdom save or perform that action. On a success they do not have to perform that action, but any Strength or Dexterity checks or saves are made at disadvantage until the start of your next turn as they are forced to fight the effects of the doll's influence. If they fail the save or do not resist it, after they perform the action, they can act normally on their turn. You can also cast touch spells or spells that have a range of self through the doll on the creature cursed by the doll. If any damage is dealt to the doll, it is also dealt to the cursed creature in the form of narcotic damage. If necrotic, poison, or psychic damage is dealt to the doll, only the creature is damaged. If the doll drops to 0 hp it is destroyed. As an action, you can carefully stab the doll with a thin needle, doing no harm to the doll, and cause the creature to suffer a great amount of pain or discomfort in the associated area of the body, affecting the creature negatively based on where you stab it. This can including one of the following: * Stabbing the eyes to cause blindness in the creature until the start of your next turn. * Stabbing it in the knee causing its speed to be reduced by half until the start of your next turn * Stabbing the heart forcing them to make a Constitution Save or take 1d8 piercing damage, but having disadvantage on all Constitution Checks or Saves until the start of your next turn. * Stabbing the doll's ears, or where the ears would be, causing the creature to be deafened until the start of your next turn. * Stabbing the doll's head, giving the creature a splitting headache that forces Concentration Checks on any spells the creature might be concentrating on, as well as disadvantage on any Intelligence Checks or Saves or future Concentration Checks until the start of your next turn. * Stabbing the doll's back where the spine would be, causing the creature to have disadvantage on all Strength based Checks and Saves until the start of your next turn. These may not be the only effects possible and you can attempt to stab the doll in such a way to cause a desired effect provided the DM approves. A needle may also be left in a place on the doll, causing the suffering of the effects(besides damage) to persist. Such needles can be removed with a bonus action or reaction. However if the creature is aware that it is a doll that is causing this, they may make a Wisdom Saving throw as an action to attempt to end the effect, causing the needle to remove itself from the doll in the process, on a success. Additionally, as an action, you may cause unharmful things to happen to the creature through other forms of manipulating the doll. This can include: * Tickling the doll, forcing the creature to make a Constitution Saving throw or become incapacitated as they laugh uncontrollably until the start of your next turn. * Whisper into the doll's ear, or where the ear would be on the doll, allowing the creature to hear your voice and what you say. * Throwing the doll in the air causing the creature to lift off the ground up to 10ft until the start of your next turn, or hovering indefinitely if done repeatedly on subsequent turns. * Spinning the doll, forcing the creature to make a Constitution Saving throw or cause the creature to become dizzy and suffer the effects of the poisoned condition(without actually being poisoned) until the start of your next turn. * Covering the doll's eyes, causing the creature to be unable to perceive light as if they were in non-magical darkness. Same as before, with DM discretion you may attempt to cause another effect to occur based on what you can think to do to the doll.

You point at a pile of bones or corpses of atleast 37 in total, animating them into undead servants, creating a Zombie Legion if they're corpses or Skeletal Legion if they're skeletons. Alternatively, if you already control 37 individual creatures, 6 Hordes, or 3 Huge Hordes of the same type, you can combine them with this spell to form an legion. You can use a bonus action to control the legion if they are within 60 feet of you. (if you control multiple creatures, you can Command any or all of them at the same time, issuing the same Command to each one) The legion remains under your control for 24 hours, after which it stops obeying any Command you've given them. To maintain the control of the legion for for another 24 hours, you must cast this spell on the legion again before the current 24-hour period ends. This use of the spell reasserts your control over up to two legions you have animated with this spell, rather than animating a new one. On a failed save, the creature can not regain hit points and has disadvantage on all ability checks, saving throws, and attack rolls for the duration. On a successful save, the spell falters only temporarily severing this conection, the shock stunning the creature for 1d8+2 rounds. If the creature is a druid, cleric, Paladin, warlock, or similar Spellcaster that receives power from an other worldly being or force, they can not regain spell slots for the duration. Abilities, spells, or features would call upon the entity or force they draw power from or its servents(such as a cleric's *Devine Intervention*, or the *Commune with Nature* or *Divinination* spells) automatically fail and their use expended. \page # Subclasses ## Artificer ### Sawbones Speciality There are many who study the human body, for many varying reasons. A warrior may study it, in order to understand what strengths to utilize and what weaknesses to exploit. A doctor may study it to better understand how to treat wounds and cure disease. For the sawbones, this reason is to uncover the the secrets of the mind, to manipulate life, and ultimately to create it. ### Tool Proficiency When you adopt this specialization at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with surgeon's tools. ##### Surgeons Tools If you have proficiency with Surgeon's Tools that count as artisans tools for the purpose of being used as a spell casting focus for artificer spells. You can use an action to use surgeon's tools and a charge of a healer's kit to stabilize a creature with 5ft of you. During a short rest you can choose a creature who is expending hit dice and you can use these tools heal the creature a number of hit dice equal to you Intelligence Modifier. Once you've used this ability on a creature, you cannot use it on the same creature again until they finish a long rest. ### Golem Servant Starting at 3rd level your research has given you enough knowledge to create a crude approximation of life. You can, over the course of 8 hours, turn a medium sized humanoid corpse into a golem servant using your surgeon's tools. You cannot use a corpse that has been dead for longer than a week and cannot use a corpse with missing limbs unless you have a suitable replacement limb. A replacement limb must be from a creature of the same size with a similar skeletal structure. The golem servant has the statistics listed in the adjacent table. It is friendly to you and your companions and will obey your orders. If not given orders it will follow you and protect you from harm if possible but otherwise will take no actions. In combat it shares your initiative count, but takes its turn immediately after you. It can move and use its reactions on it's own, but cannot take actions except the dodge action unless you use your bonus action to command it. You can use an action to expend a spell slot to use your surgeon's tool to heal the golem 1d8 per spell slot level + your Intelligence Modifier. The golem counts as one of your infused items and you cannot create a golem Servant while you already control one.

You can only use this trait once before you must complete a long rest.

Hit: (3d6 + STR Modifier) slashing damage. ##### Defender When a friendly creature within 10 ft of the golem servant is targeted by an attack roll a d4 on a 4 the golem servant becomes the target. ##### Enhanced Strength The golem servant's Strength score becomes equal to your Intelligence score. ##### Extra Arm The golem servant can make a third attack when it uses the attack action ##### Hardened Skin The golem servant's gains +2 to AC and all damage it takes is reduced by 1d4. ##### Skulker The golem servant gains +4 Dexterity and proficiency in the stealth skill. ##### Sturdy The golem servant has resistance to 2 damage types of your choice. ##### Vocal Cords Your golem servant can speak one language you know. Additionally It can perfectly memorize and repeat any message no longer than 100 words given to it but can only memorize 1 at a time.
When you finish a long rest you may replace the ability with another from the list. At 13th level you may give your golem a second ability and a at 17th you may give it a third. ``` ``` ### Master of Flesh You have mastery of your craft allows you to quickly create more golem servants to defend yourself in a pinch. Starting at 15th level, you can use your action to raise a number of suitable corpses as golem servants up to your Intelligence modifier. These extra golems do not gain the benefits of your improved golem ability and remain active for 1 minute and once that minute is up the bodies cannot be turned into golem servants again. While the golem servants are active you can command all of them as a single bonus action. Once you use this ability you can not do so again until you finish a long rest. ### Eternal Life At 15th level you do not age and cannot die of old age as long as you have a supply of corpses to replace your body parts as needed. Additionally You can cure yourself of any non magical disease by replacing the diseased part of the body.

\page ## Bard ### College of The Haunted Chorus All artists wish they could learn directly from the greats, the famous legends of their fields. However what sets the Bards of the College of The Haunted Chorus apart from the rest, while others dream of it, they make this happen. Through exploration of the dark arts these Bards learn how to summon fragments of the souls of these long dead masters, drawing from their experience and skills. They do this by finding something connected to their muses, whether it's a piece of their handwritten sheet music, a part of an instrument they used to play, a tome detailing their lives, or even a bit of bone or flesh taken from their corpse at the site of their burial. With these artifacts they are able to anchor this fragment of soul and draw it from the ethereal or astral plane. Through these fragments, they may also expand their craft and influence over the world beyond what would normally be possible for them. They are often found in old crypts, graveyards, temples, or libraries digging through some of the oldest tomes. Using what they find to summon their muses, and practice with them in privacy. The sites of and the artifacts of these old masters are as sacred to these bards as the temples and holy symbols of the gods are to clerics. So it should be no surprise that practicing and learning from their muses is treated with as much reverence and importance as if they were Communing with gods. To a Haunted Chorus Bard necromancy is a tool for an end. That ends being the continuation of the work of the greatest and the most creative minds. The spreading of the greatest works, and the creation of the next greatest ones. Where some see evil and paversion, they see the opportunity for the purest and greatest of art. ### Bonus Spells Starting 3rd level, you learn the *Toll the Dead* cantrip if you don't already know it. Art Credit: Last Truedark by Nan Fe ### Ghostly Choir At 3rd level, as an action, you can make a haunting performance that reaches across the vail and summons forth a group 3 apparitions. These fragments of the souls of long dead artists, musicians, and/or bards whom you draw inspiration from, called muses. They act on your initiative, but after you, obey any commands you can give them telepathically as a bonus action, will aways use their action to make a performance check, and can not make an attack of opportunity. While all your muses are within 5ft of you, you have advantage on all Charisma checks and saves. While it is within 60ft from you, you can telepathically speak with a muse, or as an action/bonus action, and using it's reaction, can cast one of your spells with a casting time of 1 action or bonus action, that doesn't have a range of self or require concentration, through a muse as if they had cast it. You can also command a muse to use their bonus action to grant one of your bardic inspiration to a creature within its range. The muses fades away after 5 minutes, or until you dismiss them as a bonus action, they're destroyed, they're *Turned*, or you drop below 0 hit points or fall unconscious. You can summon your muses a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier before you must complete a long rest.

\page ### Possessive Performance Starting at 6th level, you can command your muses to take possession over the body of another creature within 5ft of one of your muses. If you choose a corpse, the corpse rises a *Zombie* under your control. If you choose a living creature, the target must make a Charisma saving throw or become *Possessed* by the muse(see the *Possession* action in the *Ghost* stat block). This lasts until the body drops to 0 Hit Points, the muse ends it as a bonus action, the muse is forced out by an Effect like the Dispel Evil and Good spell, or the muse fades. Every minute at the end of its turn, a possessed creature can repeat the save to end it early. If it ends before the muse fades, the muse reappears in an unoccupied space within 5 ft. of the body. ### The Show Must Go On Starting at 14th level, your muses remain until you dismiss them, they are turned, are destroyed, or you die. You don't gain this benefit for killing constructs or undead. ### Adept Necromantic Study At 6th level, your knowledge of necromancy has led you to discover even finer control over your craft, allowing you to bypass the need to expend as much energy to use your magic. Choose one of the following Studies: * ##### Study of Whispering Spirits You ad the spell *Speak With Dead* to your spell book, and you can cast it as a ritual. Any creatures you cast it on are considered to be under the effects of the *Zone of Truth* spell as well, allowing you to draw more secrets from them. Additionally, in place of one of the questions, you can ask the creature to aid you further, and if they are willing their spirit will come to you a as *Spector* that will follow you and defend you for 1 hour. You can only use this summoning ability once before you must complete a short or long rest. * ##### Study of Commanding Corpses You add the Animate Dead spell to your spellbook if it is not there already, and can cast it as a ritual. This trait expands to include the spells Animate Horde at 8th level, Animate Greater Horde at 10th level, and Animate Superior Horde at 12th level. You can cast the spell in this way a number of times equal to your Intelligence Modifier. ### Inured to Undeath Beginning at 10th level, you have resistance to necrotic damage, and your hit point maximum can't be reduced. You have spent so much time dealing with undead and the forces that animate them that you have become inured to some of their worst effects. ### Command Undead Starting at 14th level, you can use magic to bring undead under your control, even those created by other wizards. As an action, you can choose one undead that you can see within 60 feet of you. That creature must make a Charisma saving throw against your wizard spell save DC. If it succeeds, you can't use this feature on it again. If it fails, it becomes friendly to you and obeys your commands until you use this feature again. Intelligent undead are harder to control in this way. If the target has an Intelligence of 8 or higher, it has advantage on the saving throw. If it fails the saving throw and has an Intelligence of 12 or higher, it can repeat the saving throw at the end of every hour until it succeeds and breaks free.

The creature makes their next attack at disadvantage. This spell has no effect on undead on constructs. (For if you play with Bloodied rules) #### Animate Beast *3rd level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 minute - **Range:** 10 ft - **Components:** V, S - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Cleric, Wizard, Druid This spell creates an Undead servant. Choose a pile of bones or a corpse of a beast within range. Your spell imbues the target with a foul mimicry of life, raising it as an Undead creature. The target becomes a Skeleton if you chose bones or a Zombie if you chose a corpse (the DM has the creature's game statistics). On each of your turns, you can use a Bonus Action to mentally Command any creature you made with this spell if the creature is within 60 feet of you (if you control multiple creatures, you can Command any or all of them at the same time, issuing the same Command to each one). You decide what action the creature will take and where it will move during its next turn, or you can issue a general Command, such as to guard a particular chamber or corridor. If you issue no commands, the creature only defends itself against Hostile creatures. Once given an order, the creature continues to follow it until its task is complete. The creature is under your control for 24 hours, after which it stops obeying any Command you've given it. To maintain the control of the creature for another 24 hours, you must cast this spell on the creature again before the current 24-hour period ends. This use of the spell reasserts your control over up to four creatures you have animated with this spell, rather than animating a new one. At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th Level or higher, you animate or reassert control over two additional Undead creatures for each slot above 3rd. Each of the creatures must come from a different corpse or pile of bones.

___ ## 6th Level #### Animate Superior Horde *6th level, necromancy* ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 hour - **Range:** 15 feet - **Components:** V, S, M(A drop of blood, a piece of flesh, and a pinch of bone dust) - **Ritual:** No - **Duration:** Instantaneous - **Classes:** Sorcerer, Wizard, Cleric Your mastery and control of the undead allows you to manipulate and control more creatures. You point at a pile of bones or corpses of atleast 24 in total, animating them into undead servants, creating a Gargantuan Zombie Horde if they're corpses or Gargantuan Skeletal Horde if they're skeletons. Alternatively, if you already control 24 individual creatures, or 4 hordes of the same type you can combine them with this spell to form a gargantuan horde. You can use a bonus action to control the horde if they are within 60 feet of you. (if you control multiple creatures, you can Command any or all of them at the same time, issuing the same Command to each one) The horde remains under your control for 24 hours, after which it stops obeying any Command you've given them. To maintain the control of the horde for for another 24 hours, you must cast this spell on the horde again before the current 24-hour period ends. This use of the spell reasserts your control over up to two hordes you have animated with this spell, rather than animating a new one. If you have 2 or more Gargantuan Hordes with less than their maxium Hit Points, you can combine them to make a new horde with a hit point pool equal to that of the hordes used to make it(no more than the maxium of a normal Gargantuan Hord). **At Higher Levels.** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, you animate or reassert control over one additional horde for each slot above 6th provided there are enough bodies available, 24 for each horde. \page + \]\
