### Wild Surge *3rd-level Path of Wild Magic feature*
The magical energy roiling inside you sometimes erupts from you. When you enter your rage, roll on the Wild Magic table to determine the magical effect produced. If the effect requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier.

##### Expanded Wild Surge Table |    d100    | Magical Effect | |:----:|:-------------| | 1-3 | **Blazing Eruption.** A ball of fire explodes from you in a 20ft radius sphere centered on you. You and all creatures in the area must immediately make a *Dexterity Saving Throw*, taking Xd8 fire damage (where X is equal to your Proficiency Bonus) on a failure, or half as much on a success. Until your rage ends, you have resistance to fire damage, including this instance.The fire spreads around corners, and it ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your skin begins to glow as if red-hot, and you smell of burning ash.| | 4-6 | **Thunderous Echo.** Your muscles suddenly grow and thicken to superhuman size. Once on each of your turns while you are Raging, when you deal damage to a creature with an attack, you can choose another creature that you can see within 15ft of the original target, causing it to take thunder damage equal to half the damage dealt.
     Additionally, anything you say for the next 1d10 minutes echoes repeatedly, regardless of your surroundings. | | 7-9 | **Choking Cold.** A 10ft radius sphere of frigid air whirls into existence around you. For the duration of your rage, you have resistance to cold damage and any creature besides you who starts their turn within the area must succeed on a *Constitution Saving Throw* or take Xd6 cold damage (where X is equal to half your Proficiency Bonus, rounded down) and have their speed halved until the start of their next turn.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your skin becomes pale blue and frigid to the touch, and you automatically succeed on saving throws against the effects of extreme cold. | | 10-12 | **Gravity Well.** A dense sphere of inky blackness opens in the center of your chest. You can choose a Large or smaller creature you can see within 20ft to make a *Strength Saving Throw* (the target can choose to fail). On a failure, it is pulled 10ft in a direct line towards you. If the creature strikes you or another solid object, it takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. If the target willingly chooses to fail the saving throw, they only take half damage and are not knocked prone. Until your Rage ends, you can activate this effect again on each of your turns as a bonus action.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your weight increases tenfold and you have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks to push, pull, or lift creatures or objects. | | 13-15 | **Frog Tongue.** Your tongue transforms into that of a giant frog. You can immediately attempt to grapple a creature you can see within 15ft of you. If you succeed, the target is *grappled* and takes Xd6 acid damage (where X is equal to your Proficiency Bonus). Until your Rage ends, you can activate this effect again on each of your turns as a bonus action, but cannot grapple more than one creature at a time with it.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your tongue doubles in size, you gain an irresistible hunger for insects, and can breathe underwater. | | 16-18 | **Blinding Gaze.** Your eyes flare with magical light; you can immediately choose a creature you can see within 30ft of you to make a *Constitution Saving Throw*. On a failure, it takes Xd8 radiant damage (where X is equal to half your Proficiency Bonus, rounded down) and is blinded until the start of your next turn. Until your Rage ends, you can activate this ability against on each of your turns as a bonus action.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your eyes adopt the appearance of brilliant white pearls, and you have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks and Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. | | 19-21 | **Fey Friend.** A Tiny Fey sprite appears on your shoulder and begins to cheer effusively for your exploits. For the duration of your Rage, whenever you make an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can add 1d6 to the roll. Once this bonus has been used, you cannot use it again until the start of your next turn.
     Should your exploits be particularly impressive, this fey sprite will choose to stay with you for up to 1d4 additional hours, but its voice will only grant you advantage on Charisma (Performance) and Charisma (Deception) checks. | | 22-24 | **Shimmer Shift.** Your body begins to vibrate rapidly, and your movements create faint afterimages. You can immediately teleport up to 20ft to an unoccupied space you can see. Until your rage ends, you gain resistance to force damage and can use this teleport again on each of your turns as a bonus action.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your body shimmers in an undulating state of varying transparency, and you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) and Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) checks. | | 25-27 | **Focused Fury.** Energy floods into your body. Until your rage ends, you can make one additional attack when you take the Attack action on your turn.
     Once your rage ends, you become incredibly hungry and will attempt to consume any food you see for the next 1d4 hours. | | 28-30 | **Bramble Aura.** Plant life temporarily flourishes into rapid growth around you. Until your rage ends, the ground within 15ft of you is difficult terrain for your enemies, who suffer Xd4 piercing damage (where X is equal to half your Proficiency Bonus, rounded down) for every 5ft they move through the area.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your skin turns a vibrant green, flowering vines cascade down around your head, and you have advantage on Intelligence (Nature) and Wisdom (Survival) checks. |

While you are raging, you also gain resistance to radiant damage.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your body glows with a holy nimbus, and beings of celestial origin will regard you as friendly. | | 34-36 | **Happy Thoughts.** A particularly positive thought inspires you; until your rage ends, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed, can hover, and are immune to the *prone* condition.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, you continue to float a few inches off the ground, and can traverse over liquid surfaces as well. | | 37-39 | **Spirit Storm.** Four intangible spirits, which look like any Small or smaller creature of your choice, each appear in an unoccupied space within 5ft of you. You then immediately command the spirits to move up to 60ft in any direction, and at the end of their movement, they detonate in a flash of light. Each creature within 5ft of one or more of the spirits when they detonate must make a *Dexterity Saving Throw*, taking Xd4 force damage (where X is equal to your proficiency bonus) on a failure, or half as much on a success. A creature in the area of more than one spirit burst is affected only once.
     Additionally for 1d4 hours after your rage ends, a fifth spirit appears next to you and follows you around, complaining incessantly about being left out. | | 40-42 | **Vanishing Act.** Light shifts and bends around your body. You and everything you are wearing or carrying becomes invisible for 1 minute, persisting even if your rage ends. If you make an attack, this effect is suspended until the start of your next turn.
     Additionally for 1d4 hours, one random item (chosen by the DM) on your person becomes invisible. | | 43-45 | **Shadow Weapon.** Shadows weave around a weapon of your choice you are holding. Until your rage ends, your weapon deals psychic damage instead of bludgeoning, slashing, or piercing damage, and it gains the *light* and *thrown* properties with a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet. You can add your Rage Damage to ranged attacks made with this weapon, and it returns to your hand immediately after you use it to make a ranged attack.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, ominous whispers can be heard by anyone within 5ft of the weapon as it hungers for more violence, and you gain advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks as a result. | | 46-48 | **Noxious Wind.** Necrotic energy bursts from you. Roll a number of d6s equal to half your Proficiency Bonus, rounded down. Each creature within 30 feet of you takes necrotic damage equal to the total, and you gain temporary hit points equal to the sum of the necrotic damage dealt to the creatures, which last until your rage ends. While you retain these temporary hit points, any creature that starts its turn within 5ft of you or moves there on its turn must succeed on a *Constitution Saving Throw* or spend its action that turn retching and reeling. Creatures that don't need to breathe or are immune to poison automatically succeed on this saving throw. Until your rage ends, you also gain resistance to necrotic damage.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your skin turns a sickly grey hue, you smell of rotten flesh, and your creature type registers as undead. | | 49-51 | **Arcane Ward.** Scintillating arcane energy enshrouds you. Until your rage ends, you and any allies within 10ft of you gain a +1 bonus to AC. Furthermore, whenever a creature within 10ft of you hits you with an attack, that creature takes force damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, glowing arcane runes appear on your skin and the pupils of your eyes burn with a piercing azure light, granting you advantage on Intelligence (Arcana) checks. | | 52-54 | **Tempest Gale.** Strong winds blast out from you. Each creature within 10ft of you must succeed on a *Strength Saving Throw* or be pushed away from you a number of feet equal to five times half your Proficiency Bonus, rounded down, and then fall prone. Until your rage ends, you can use this ability again on each of your turns as a bonus action.
     Additionally, light winds swirl around your for the next 1d4 hours, causing your and anyone else's clothing to billow and swirl with the breeze. | | 55-57 | **Ghastly Visage.** Your visage becomes terrifying. All creatures within 30ft of you must succeed on a *Wisdom Saving Throw* or become *frightened* of you until the end of your next turn. Until your rage ends, on each of your turns as a bonus action, you can choose one creature within 10ft of you that has not successfully saved against this effect and force it to repeat the save. On a failure, it becomes *frightened* of you until the end of your next turn.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours once your rage ends, you retain your ghastly visage, and it grants you advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks, but disadvantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks. | | 58-60 | **Peerless Sight.** Your eyes can pierce through walls, illusions, and obscurement. Until your rage ends, you gain truesight, blindsight, and can see through non-magical walls, all up to a range of 60ft. Furthermore, if an invisible creature is within 60ft of you while you are raging, you can use your reaction to force it to make a *Charisma Saving Throw*; on a failure, whatever effect is granting it invisibility is dispelled.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, dozens of tiny spirits on the Ethereal Plane notice your presence and circle you curiously. |

Choose a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. That creature must succeed on a *Wisdom Saving Throw* or you see a glimpse of the creature’s thoughts, learning how it plans to attack you. As a result, the creature has disadvantage on attack rolls against you until the start of your next turn. Until your rage ends, you gain resistance to psychic damage, and you can use this ability again on each of your turns as a bonus action.
     Additionally, for the next 1d4 hours, you can hear the surface thoughts of any creature within 10ft of you. | | 64-66 | **Hydra Mutation.** You suddenly sprout 1d4 extra heads from your shoulders. For the duration of your Rage, you have advantage on Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws, and creatures cannot gain advantage on attacks against you via flanking.
     Additionally, the heads last for 1d4 hours, during which you have advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) and Wisdom (Perception) checks. When the magic fades, the heads shrivel up and fall to the ground. | | 67-69 | **Wild Growth.** Your body suddenly expands like a balloon, and the area around you begins to undulate with wild magic. You are immediately under the effects of the enlarge option of the *Enlarge/Reduce* spell. Furthermore, one creature you can see within 10ft of you (chosen randomly by the DM) must make a *Constitution Saving Throw*. On a failure, roll a 1d2: on a 1, the creature is enlarged, while on a 2 the creature is reduced (as per the spell). This effect lasts until the start of your next turn.
     Until your rage ends, this effect repeats at the start of each of your turns. If there are no other creatures within 10ft of you at the start of your turn, the effect targets one object (chosen randomly by the DM) that isn't being worn within range instead.
     Once your rage ends, you revert back to your original size and your skin becomes incredibly loose and flabby for the next 1d4 hours. | | 70-72 | **Speed Force.** Your body begins to crackle wildly with lightning. For the duration of your rage, you gain resistance to lightning damage and are under the effects of the *Ashardalon's Stride* spell, but it deals lightning damage instead of fire. Furthermore, at the end of your turn, you can choose one creature that has taken lightning damage from you that turn, and they gain the effects of the spell until the end of their next turn.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, you emit harmless electrical sparks and anyone who stands within 5ft of you finds their hair to widly stand on end. | | 73-75 | **Magic Consumption.** Your eyes transform into swirling pools of starry darkness. You can immediately choose one creature within 30ft of you that you can see and is concentrating on a spell, and it must succeed on a *Concentration Check* or lose concentration on the spell. The DC of this check is equal to your Wild Magic DC minus the level of the spell, to a minimum DC of 10. Until your rage ends, you can use this effect again on each of your turns as a bonus action.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your eyes retain their appearance and you are under the effects of the *Detect Magic* spell. | | 76-78 | **Scorpion Tail.** A giant scorpion tail suddenly erupts from your back, which acts as a simple melee weapon that deals 1d8 piercing damage and has a 15ft range. You may immediately make an attack with it, and on a hit, the target must make a *Constitution Saving Throw*. On a failure, it takes an additional Xd6 poison damage (where X is equal to your Proficiency Bonus) and is *Poisoned* until the start of your next turn. On a success, it takes half damage and is not poisoned.
     Until your rage ends, you gain resistance to poison damage, and you can use this attack again on each of your turns as a bonus action.
    Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, your skin calcifies into rigid chitinous plates and you feel an irresistible urge to scuttle about on all fours. | | 79-81 | **Sound Negation.** Color suddenly drains from you and everything you are wearing, fading into monochromatic hues. Until your rage ends, you are under the effect of the *Silence* spell, which stays centered on you as you move. Anything within the spell's area also has its color drained.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, you retain your monochromatic state and can only speak in a barely-audible whisper. | | 82-84 | **Alluring Presence.** Your skin shifts to an alluring lavender, and a titillative aroma wafts around you. While you are raging, any creature that moves within 15ft of you or starts its turn there must succeed on a *Wisdom Saving Throw* or become *charmed* by you until the start of their next turn. A creature who is charmed in this way must spend their movement to move as close to you as possible, then use their action to attempt to grapple you in a fit of passion. Once a creature has successfully saved against this effect, it has advantage on any subsequent saves against it for the next 24 hours.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, you retain your amorous appearance and you have advantage on all Charisma-based checks. | | 85-87 | **Adamantine Augmentation.** Your skin hardens and adopts a polished metallic sheen. You immediately gain Xd12 temporary hit points (where X is equal to half your Proficiency Bonus, rounded down), and can touch one creature within 5ft of you to grant them resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks until the start of your next turn. Until your rage ends, you can use this effect again on each of your turns as a bonus action.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, you retain your burnished appearance, and any nonmagical object that you touch that isn't being worn or carried turns to adamantine until the magic surrounding you fades. |

##### Expanded Wild Surge Table |    d100    | Magical Effect | |:----:|:-------------| | 88-90 | **Chaos Clone.** A perfect illusory clone of yourself pulls itself apart from you and reconstitutes in an unoccupied space within 5ft of you. It mimics your movements, always staying within 5ft of you unless you command it to do otherwise. While you are raging, it will attempt to flank any creature you attack, granting advantage on the attack provided the creature does not know which of you is real.
     Physical interaction with the image reveals it to be an illusion, because things can pass through it. A creature that uses its action to examine the image can determine that it is an illusion with a successful *Intelligence (Investigation) check* against your Wild Magic DC. If a creature discerns the illusion for what it is, the creature can see through the image, and its other sensory qualities become faint to the creature.
     Additionally, your illusory clone persists for the next 1d4 hours, and it vocally contradicts anything you say. | | 91-92 | **Partial Predator.** Your head swells and morphs into that of a giant crocodile or some other large reptile of your choice. While you are raging, you can replace any of your attacks with a bite from your toothy maw; it functions as a simple melee weapon which you are proficient with, and it deals Xd10 piercing damage on a hit (where X is equal to half your Proficiency Bonus, rounded down). On a hit against a Medium or smaller creature, it is *Grappled*. Until the grapple ends, the target is also *Restrained*, and you cannot bite a different target.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, you retain your enlarged, animalistic head and only those who can speak with animals can understand your speech. | | 93-94 | **Gemstone Gorger.** Something begins to rumble deep in your belly. At the end of each of your turns while you are raging, you spew forth a stream of glittering, jagged gemstones in a 30ft line that is 5ft wide. Any creatures in the line must make a *Dexterity Saving Throw*, taking Xd10 slashing damage (where X is equal to half your Proficieny Bonus, rounded down) on a failure, or half as much on a success.
     Additionally, any time after your rage ends, you can spend 1 minute per instance of disgorgement to collect up all the gems. Each point of damage rolled by this feature is equal to 1gp worth of gems. | | 95-96 | **Custard Cascade.** Filled with the promising thoughts of delicious sweets, your body transforms into a mass of congealed, animated pastry dough. As you do, a spray of curdled confectionary cream erupts from you, and each creature in a 15-foot cone must succeed on a *Dexterity Saving Throw* or be covered in caustic custard for the duration of your Rage or until a creature uses its action to scrape or wash the custard off itself or another creature. A creature covered in the custard takes Xd6 acid damage (where X is equal to half your Proficiency Bonus, rounded down) at start of each of its turns. A creature reduced to 0 hit points by this damage dissolves into a puddle of glistening jelly.
     Until your rage ends, you can use this ability again on each of your turns as a bonus action, but it has no additional effect on a creature already covered in custard.
     Additionally, you retain your pastry-like state for the next 1d4 hours, and your sweet aroma attracts insects and wild animals in a 1-mile radius. | | 97-98 | **Hare Hoppers.** Your legs rapidly grow fur and elongate into powerful digitigrade limbs. You can immediately jump up to your speed, including vertically, without using your turn's movement or provoking opportunity attacks. Until your rage ends, you can use this special jump on each of your turns as a bonus action, and you do not take damage or fall prone from falling unless it is from a height greater than twice your speed. If you land on a creature, it must make a *Dexterity Saving Throw*; on a failed save, the creature takes Xd6 bludgeoning damage (where X is equal to your Proficiency Bonus) and is knocked *Prone*, while on a success, it takes half as much damage and isn't knocked prone.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, you have an irresistible craving for fresh vegetables, and you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing. | | 99-100 | **Tipsy Sway.** You suddenly become extremely drunk. You can immediately move up to your speed and make a single unarmed melee attack against a creature of their choice. On a hit, the creature must succeed on a *Constitution Saving Throw* or be *Stunned* until the start of your next turn. Until your rage ends, you can use this special attack again on each of your turns as a bonus action, and opportunity attacks against you are made with disadvantage.
     Additionally for the next 1d4 hours, you remain in a drunken torpor. For this duration, you make Wisdom (Perception) and Wisdom (Insight) checks at disadvantage, and sparkling pink bubbles pour from your mouth whenever you speak. |
