## Introduction This document is one in a series making revisions to 5e, taking inspiration from all across 5e's history, including playtest and 5e24 material, with further efforts to push the envolope. ___ This homebrew will be shared through a series of posts and documents. It will be with you shortly. ### Rules Glossary My groups and I use a variety of table rules, and this is all primarily designed for them - shared with the lovely folks online secondarily, so some elements are designed with these rules in mind. ___ - **Armoury.** A new Weapon and Armour table, with the addition of weapon masteries and a couple new weapons, most notably Unarmed Strikes. - **Light Weapon Property.** Works as it did in the Experts UA for 1D&D - which also effects unarmed strikes, because they are weapons with the light property. Alternatively, think that all Light weapons have the Nick Mastery already built in - and they get a different mastery instead. - **Short Rests.** a minimum of 10 minutes instead of 1 hour! ### Class Bonus All classes now have a "Class Bonus", listed with a unique column in the class's table titled with the classes name + the word "bonus". Regardless of the class that gains it, that bonus is 2 from 1st-4th level, 3 from 5th-8th level, and 4 from 9th level onward. If you gain the same feature from multiple classes and that feature references your class bonus, take the sum of all levels in the relevant classes and treat them as one class for the purpose of determining that features class bonus.

## Multiclassing In this document, two features function differently if you multiclass: Fighting Style and Warrior Technique. ### Fighting Style If you gain the Fighting style feature from a class when you had already gained that feature from another class, you do not gain an additional fighting style. Instead, all of your levels in classes with this feature count towards determining any class bonus used by your fighting style. ### Warrior Technique If you gain the Warrior Techniques feature from a class when you had already gained that feature from another class, the number of Basic Warrior Techniques you know is determined by the class bonus of the sum of qualifying classes, as described in the entry for Class Bonuses above. advanced and Master techniques are gained at specific levels within each class that gains those features, and are unaffected by multiclassing. For example, if you have 3 levels in fighter, 2 levels in Barbarian, and a level in cleric, you ignore your cleric levels as that class does not gain the fighting style feature. The sum of levels in classes that do have this feature is 5, therefore the class bonus is 3, and you know 3 Warrior Techniques. ### The Meat and Potatoes This is 39 Pages. It's beefy. ## Class Features As a rogue, you gain the following class features. #### Hit Points ___ - **Hit Dice:** 1d8 per rogue level - **Hit Points at 1st Level:** 8 + your Constitution modifier - **Hit Points at Higher Levels:** 1d8 (or 5) + your Constitution modifier per rogue level after 1st #### Proficiencies ___ - **Armour:** Light armour - **Weapons:** Simple weapons, hand crossbows, longswords, rapiers, shortswords - **Tools:** Thieves' tools - **Saving Throws:** Dexterity, Intelligence - **Skills:** Choose four from Acrobatics, Athletics, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Investigation, Perception, Performance, Persuasion, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth

#### Equipment As a **1st-level** character, you start with the following equipment, or you can forgo it and spend 110 GP on equipment of your choice. ___ - Arrows (20), Burglar’s Pack, Dagger (2), Leather Armor, Quiver, Shortbow, Shortsword, Thieves’ Tools, 18 GP #### Sneak Attack Beginning at **1st level**, You know how to turn a subtle attack into a deadly one. Once per turn when you take the Attack Action, you can deal extra damage to one creature you hit with an Attack Roll if you’re attacking with a Finesse Weapon or a Ranged Weapon and if at least one of the following requirements is met: ___ - **Advantage.** You have Advantage on the Attack Roll. - **Ally Adjacent to Target.** At least one of your allies is within 5 feet of the target, the ally isn’t Incapacitated, and you don’t have Disadvantage on the Attack Roll. To determine the extra damage, roll a number of d6s equal to half your Rogue level (round up), and add the dice together (the Rogue table shows the number of Sneak Attack dice you get at each Rogue level). The extra damage’s type is the same as the weapon’s Damage Type. \page

#### Thieves' Cant Also at **1st level**, you picked up various quirks of language in the communities where you plied your roguish talents. You gain proficiency with an additional language. Additionally, when talking to another creature with this feature or who works in secret or criminal trades, with whom you share a language, you can talk in code, jargon, and with unspoken language (such as signing) as to communicate secret information. Creatures nearby who lack this feature cannot comprehend the secrets communicated and are not privvy to the fact that any secrets were exchanged. #### Cunning Action Starting at **2nd level**, your quick thinking and agility allow you to move and act quickly. As a bonus action, you can take the Hide, Disengage, Dash, or Use an Object action. #### Fighting Style At **1st level**, you adopt a particular style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can’t take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again. ___ - **Archery.** You gain a bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons equal to half of your Rogue Bonus. - **Blind Fighting.** You have blindsight with a range of equal to 5 times your Rogue bonus, in feet. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn't behind total cover, even if you're blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the creature successfully hides from you. - **Close Quarters Shooter.** When making a ranged attack while you are within 5 feet of a hostile creature, you do not have disadvantage on the attack roll, and your damage with Ranged weapons increases by half of your Rogue Bonus. - **Defence.** While you are wearing armour, you gain a bonus to your AC equal to half your Rogue Bonus. - **Dueling.** When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a bonus to damage rolls with that weapon equal to your Rogue Bonus. - **Thrown Weapon Fighting.** When you hit with a thrown weapon, you gain a bonus to the damage roll equal to your Rogue Bonus. - **Two-Weapon Fighting.** When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack. #### Warrior Techniques At **1st level**, you gain access to the Warrior techniques available to the various Warrior classes. You know a number of Basic Techniques equal to your Rogue Bonus. At **6th level**, You Learn one Advanced Technique of your choice, and another at **8th level** and again at **10th level.** At **12th level,** you learn one Master Technique of your choice. You learn another at **14th level.** Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can choose one Basic, Adept and/or Master technique that you know and replace it with another technique of belonging to the same group. You can find all Warrior Techniques at the end of this document.

#### Expertise At **2nd level**, You gain Expertise in two skills of your choice. At **7th level**, you can choose two skills with which you gain proficiency, and of the skills in which you are proficient, you gain expertise in 2 of your choice. At **11th level,** choose two additional skills with which you already have proficiency. You gain Expertise with your chosen skills. #### Roguish Archetype At **3rd level**, you choose an archetype that you emulate in the exercise of your rogue abilities. Your archetype choice grants you features at **3rd level** and then again at **6th, 10th,** and **14th level**. > ##### Translating Existing Subclasses... Is so easy! Except 3rd level features, they're all going down 3 levels. Move your 9th level feature down to 6th, 13 to 10, and 17 to 14! Now its completely compatible with content you already use. #### Steady Aim Also at **3rd level**, as a bonus action, you give yourself advantage on your next attack roll on the current turn. You can use this bonus action only if you haven't moved during this turn, and after you use the bonus action, your speed is 0 until the end of the current turn. #### Feat When you reach **4th level**, and again at **8th, 12th, and 16th,** you gain a feat or an Ability Score Improvement. #### Uncanny Dodge Starting at **5th level**, when an attacker that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack's damage against you. \page

#### Cunning Strike At **5th level**, you have developed cunning ways to use your Sneak Attack. When you deal Sneak Attack damage, you can add the following Cunning Strike effects. Each effect has a die cost, which is the number of Sneak Attack damage dice you must forego to add the effect. You remove the die before rolling, and the effect occurs immediately after the attack’s damage is dealt. For example, if you add the Poison effect, remove 1 dice from the Sneak Attack’s damage before rolling. If a Cunning Strike effect requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Dexterity modifier. ___ - **Disable (Cost: 2 dice).** The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw, or on its next turn it has disadvantage on attack rolls and cannot cast spells which have somatic components. - **Poison (Cost: 1 die).** You add a toxin to your strike, forcing the target to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target has the Poisoned condition until the start of your next turn. To use this effect, you must have a Poisoner’s Kit on your person. Alternatively, you can use this Cunning Strike option to apply a poison you have acquired to your weapon as part of an attack made with that weapon. - **Trip (Cost: 1 die).** If the target is no larger than one size larger than yourself, it must succeed on a Dexterity or Strength saving throw (targets choice) or have the Prone condition. - **Withdraw (Cost: 1 die).** Immediately after the attack, you move up to half your Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks. #### Evasion Beginning at **7th level**, you can nimbly dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a red dragon's fiery breath or an Ice Storm spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail. #### Reliable Talent By **9th level**, you have refined your chosen skills until they approach perfection. Whenever you make an ability check that lets you add your proficiency bonus, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10. #### Sublte Strikes At **11th level**, When you attack, you know how to exploit a target’s distraction. You have Advantage on any Attack Roll that targets a creature that is within 5 feet of at least one of your allies who isn’t Incapacitated. Additionally, the base damage dice of your weapons, as shown in their entries in the Weapons table, are doubled on the first time you hit a creature on a turn, so long as the weapon has the Ranged or Finesse Property.

#### Devious Strikes From **13th level,** You have practiced new ways to use your Sneak Attack deviously. The following effects are now among your Cunning Strike options. ___ - **Daze (Cost: 3 dice).** The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or it has the Dazed condition until the end of your next turn. - **Knock Out (Cost: 6 dice).** The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or it has the Unconscious condition for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. The Unconscious target can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. - **Obscure (Cost: 4 dice).** You strike near the target’s eyes. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw, or it has the Blinded condition until the end of its next turn. #### Slippery Mind By **15th level**, you have acquired greater mental strength. You gain proficiency in Wisdom and Charisma saving throws. #### Epic Boon When you choose your Feats at **16th** and again at **19th level**, you can instead choose to take an Epic Boon. #### Elusive Beginning at **17th level**, you are so evasive that attackers rarely gain the upper hand against you. No attack roll has advantage against you while you aren't incapacitated. #### Reliable Assault The opportunity to strike hard never escapes you. At **18th level,** your weapon attacks are always made with advantage unless your roll is subject to a source of disadvantage, in which case the roll is made normally. #### Stroke of Luck At **20th level**, you have an uncanny knack for succeeding when you need to. when you make a d20 test and fail, you can change your result to a 20. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest. \page

#### Mage Hand Legerdemain Starting at **3rd level**, you can cast the Mage Hand Cantrip, which does not count against the number of cantrips you prepare when you gain access to spellcasting at **3rd level**. when you cast Mage Hand, you can make the spectral hand invisible, and you can perform the following additional tasks with it: ___ - **Planting.** You can stow one object the hand is holding in a container worn or carried by another creature. - **Stealing.** You can retrieve an object in a container worn or carried by another creature. - **Picking.** You can use thieves' tools to pick locks and disarm traps at range. You can perform one of these tasks without being noticed by a creature if you succeed on a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check contested by the creature's Wisdom (Perception) check. In addition, you can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to control the hand. #### Spellcasting When you reach **3rd level**, you augment your martial prowess with the ability to cast spells. ___ - **Spell Slots.** The Mystical Trickster Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest. - For example, if you know the 1st-Level spell Charm Person and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast Charm Person using either slot. - **Spell List.** You choose whether you spells come from the Wizard, Druid, Cleric or Bard Spell List. - **Preparing Spells.** when you finish a long rest, you prepare a number of spells from your spell list as shown in the Prepared Spells column for your level in the Mystical Trickster Table. These spells must be of a level no higher than the highest level spell slot you have available, as shown in the same table. Of your Prepared spells, two must be from either the Illusion or Enchantment school of magic. - **Cantrips.** You know the Mage Hand Cantrip, and one additional cantrip of your choice from your spell list. You can also choose to take a cantrip from your spell list instead of a Basic Warrior Technique whenever you would gain a basic Warrior Technique.. - **Spellcasting Ability.** Your spellcasting ability is the same spellcasting ability as the class from which you gain your spell list. #### Magical Ambush Starting at **6th level**, if you are hidden from a creature when you cast a spell on it, the creature has disadvantage on any saving throw it makes against the spell this turn. #### Versatile Trickster At **10th level**, You gain the ability to distract targets with your Mage Hand. When you use the Disarm or Trip options of your Cunning Strike, you can also target that option at a creature within 5 feet of the spectral hand. #### Spell Thief At **14th level**, you gain the ability to magically steal the knowledge of how to cast a spell from another spellcaster. Immediately after a creature casts a spell that targets you or includes you in its area of effect, you can use your reaction to force the creature to make a saving throw with its spellcasting ability modifier. The DC equals your spell save DC. On a failed save, you negate the spell's effect against you, and you steal the knowledge of the spell if it is at least 1st level and of a level you can cast (it doesn't need to be a wizard spell). For the next 8 hours, you know the spell and can cast it using your spell slots. The creature can't cast that spell until the 8 hours have passed. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. \page

### Assassin *Wizard's of the Coast owns this flavour text too, and I'm still not looking to get Pinkertoned* #### Tricks of the Trade When you choose this archetype at **3rd level**, you gain proficiency with the disguise kit and the poisoner's kit. #### Assassinate Starting at **3rd level**, You are adept at getting the drop on a target, granting you the following benefits: ___ - **Initiative.** You add your proficiency bonus to Initiative rolls. - **Surprising Strikes.** During the first round of each combat, you have Advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn’t taken a turn. If your Sneak Attack hits any target during that round, the target takes extra damage of the weapon’s type equal to your Rogue level. #### Infiltration Expertise Starting at **6th level**, you gain proficiency with forgery kits. You roll Deception (Charisma) skill checks with advantage to impersonate or adopt fictional personas. You may add your Intelligence modifier to Deception skill checks rolled to impersonate someone if you observe the person’s speech, handwriting, mannerisms, or other notable traits for ten minutes. #### Envenom Weapons Also at **6th level**, when you use the Poison option of your Cunning Strike, the target also takes 2d6 Poison damage whenever it fails the saving throw. You also ignore resistance to Poison damage. This additional damage can instead be added to the total damage of a poison which you have applied to your weapon, such as a Basic Poison or Purple Worm Poison. #### Marauder's Malice Your knack for precision allows you to perfect your strikes. At **10th level**, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can choose to maximise all the damage dice. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. #### Death Strike Starting at **14th level**, you become a master of instant death. When you attack and hit a creature that is surprised, it must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, double the damage of your attack against the creature.

### Falconer Most rogues prefer to work alone, tending to keep to themselves. However, you know the value of working with others. But instead of relying on people who might betray your trust, you've trained a majestic and powerful bird to fight by your side. As a falconer, you work together with your falcon both in and out of combat, emboldening each others capabilities in your companionship. #### Falcon Friend At **3rd level**, you have learned a bird call which you can use to summon birds of prey. As part of a short or long rest, you can let out a call, and either an Eagle, Hawk, Owl or Vulture comes flying to you. Over the course of your rest, you can bond to the bird, making it your Falcon. Your Falcon shares your initiative, and takes it turn during your turn. You can only have one Falcon at a time, which gains the following features: ___ - **Training.** Your Falcons proficiency Bonus matches yours, and it has proficiency with all Saving Throws. - **Health.** Your Falcon has hit points equal to 4 + four times your Rogue level. It has hit dice equal to your Rogue leve, which are d6s. - **Avian Cunning.** As a bonus action, you can have your Falcon perform the Search, Help, disengage, or dash actions. If no command is given, your Falcon automatically takes the dodge action. - **Mimicry.** When you perform the attack, dodge, dash, or disengage action action, your Falcon can perform the same action. You can also use your action to make your Falcon attack. Additionally, when you learned the birdsong needed to summon your Falcon, you also have learned a special healing birdsong. You can sing this song as part of a long rest to bring your Falcon back to life if it has died. If you decide to call a different bird to be your Falcon, then any existing Falcon you have abandons you and does not answer your commands. #### Well Trained At **6th level**, your Falcon is well trained to evade and make cunning manoeuvres. Your Falcon has all the features you have from your rogue class except the following: Sneak attack, fighting style, expertise, Thieve's Cant, and any feats or Martial Manoeuvres gained while progressing through this class. Additionally, your Falcon gains a bonus to it's AC equal to your Rogue Bonus, and it's Dexterity score increases to match yours if it is lower than yours. \page

#### Bird of Prey At **10th level**, your Falcon gains additional benefits when it performs certain actions: ___ - **Search.** Your Falcon has Expertise with Perception. - **Help.** When your Falcon performs the Help action to grant advantage on an attack roll, the creature it's assisting against has disadvantage on its next attack roll or saving throw. - **Dash.** When your Falcon Dashes, it does not provoke Opportunity attacks. - **Dodge and Disengage.** If your Falcon performs one action, it automatically gains the benefits of also performing the other. #### Raptor's Rebuke At **14th level**, you can train your Falcon to exploit their prey's weaknesses just as you do. When your Falcon deals damage as part of an attack, they deal additional damage equal to half of your sneak attack dice (rounded up). ### Thief *Wizard's of the Coast owns this flavour text too, and I'm still not looking to get Pinkertoned* #### Endless Spoils At **3rd level**, you are adept in acquring loot from your foes and using your spoils against them. You gain the following features: ___ - **Fast Hands.** You can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to make a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check. - **Improvised Attacks.** you attack with your proficiency bonus and Dexterity modifier when attacking with a non-magical item that is not a simple or martial weapon. You can attack with items this way using the Utilise action. Attacks made this way qualify for Sneak Attack as long as you would otherwise qualify to deal Sneak attack damage. - **Utilise Spoils.** When you take the Utilise action with an item that would impose a saving throw against a creature, you may choose to use a Save DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Dexterity Modifier. #### Second-Story Work Also at **3rd level**, You have trained to reach especially hard-to-reach places, granting you these benefits: ___ - **Climber.** You gain a Climb Speed equal to your Speed. On your turn, you can move on a ceiling without making an ability check, provided there is at least one handhold during the move, but you fall if you end the turn there without a handhold. - **Jumper.** Your jump distance is determined by your Dexterity rather than your Strength. #### Supreme Sneak Starting at **6th level**, You gain the following Cunning Strike option. ___ - **Stealth Attack (Cost: 1d6).** If you have the Hide action’s Invisible condition, this attack doesn’t end that condition on you if you end the turn behind Three-Quarters Cover or Total Cover.

#### Smash and Grab Also at **6th level**, when you use the Disable Cunning Strike Option, you can also grab one item from the target which is not being worn or equiped, but is being carried in a way which is not completely secured to their person - such as grabbing an item from their pocket, or a non-equiped weapon. #### Use Magic Device By **10th level**, in your treasure hunting, you have learned how to maximize use of magic items, granting you the following benefits: ___ - **Attunement.** You can attune to up to four magic items at once. - **Charges.** Whenever you use a magic item property that expends charges, roll a d6. On a roll of 6, you use the property without expending the charges. - **Scrolls.** You can use any Spell Scroll, using Intelligence as your Spellcasting Ability for the spell. If the spell is a cantrip or a 1st-level spell, you can cast it reliably. If the scroll contains a higher-level spell, you must first succeed on an Intelligence (Arcana) check with a DC equal to 10 plus the spell’s level. On a successful check, you cast the spell from the scroll. On a failed check, the scroll disintegrates. - **Cunning Activation.** If a magic item requires an action to activate, you can instead activate it with the bonus action granted to you by your Cunning Action. #### Bandit's Cunning Also at **10th level**, you are adept in juggling many tasks at once. When you use your Cunning Action, you can choose to use two different features available to you through the Cunning Action feature. These actions must be different, unless you choose to take the Utilise action twice. #### Thief's Reflexes When you reach **14th level**, you have become adept at laying ambushes and quickly escaping danger. You can take two turns during the first round of any combat. You take your first turn at your normal initiative and your second turn at your initiative minus 10. You can't use this feature when you are surprised. \page

## Class Features As a Barbarian, you gain the following class features #### Hit Points ___ - **Hit Dice:** 1d12 per barbarian level - **Hit Points at 1st Level:** 12 + your Constitution modifier - **Hit Points at Higher Levels:** 1d12 (or 7) + your Constitution modifier per barbarian level after 1st #### Proficiencies ___ - **Armour:** Light armour, Medium armour, Shields. - **Weapons:** Simple weapons, Martial Weapons. - **Tools:** None. - **Saving Throws:** Strength, Constitution. - **Skills:** Choose two from Animal Handling, Athletics, Intimidation, Nature, Perception and Survival.

#### Equipment As a **1st-level** character, you start with the following equipment, or you can forgo it and spend 75 GP on equipment of your choice. ___ - Explorer’s Pack, Handaxe (4), 15 GP, and; - (a) Greataxe or (b) Battleaxe, Shield, and 10 GP #### Unarmoured Defence At **1st level,** while you are not wearing any armour, your Armour Class equals 10 + your Dexterity or Strength modifier + your Constitution modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit. \page

#### Rage You can imbue yourself with a primal power that is called your Rage, a force that grants you extraordinary might and resilience. You can enter it as a Bonus Action, provided you aren’t wearing Heavy Armour. While active, your Rage has the following effects: ___ - **Damage Resistance.** You have resistance to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage. - **Rage Damage.** When you make an attack using Strength and deal damage to the target, you gain a bonus to the damage equal to your Barbarian Bonus. - **Strength Advantage.** You have advantage on ability checks and saving throws which use your Strength or Constitution. - **No Concentration or Spells.** You can’t maintain Concentration, and you can’t cast spells. The Rage lasts until the end of your next turn, and it ends early if you don Heavy Armour or have the Incapacitated condition. If your Rage is still active on your next turn, you can extend the Rage for another round by doing one or more of the following: ___ - **Attack.** Make an attack roll against another creature. - **Impose.** Force a creature to make a saving throw or an ability check. - **Damage.** Take damage before the end of your next turn. - **Persist.** Take a Bonus Action to extend your Rage. Each time the Rage is extended, it lasts until the end of your next turn. You can maintain a Rage for up to 10 minutes. You can enter your Rage the number of times equal to your Barbarian Bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest, and you regain 1 expended use when you finish a short rest. Additionally, Some of your Barbarian features may impose Saving Throws against their targets. Unless specified otherwise, the DC for that Saving throw is equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Constitution Modifier.

#### Fighting Style At **1st level**, you adopt a particular style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can’t take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again. ___ - **Blind Fighting.** You have blindsight with a range of a number of feet equal to 5 times your Barbarian Bonus. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn't behind total cover, even if you're blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the creature successfully hides from you. - **Defence.** While you are wearing armour, you gain a bonus to AC equal to half of your Barbarian bonus. - **Dueling.** When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a bonus to damage rolls with that weapon equal to your Barbarian Bonus. - **Great Weapon Fighting.** When you roll a number equal to your Barbarian Bonus on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit. - **Protection.** When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You must be wielding a shield. - **Thrown Weapon Fighting.** When you hit with a weapon that has the Thrown property, you gain a bonus to the damage roll equal to your Barbarian Bonus. - **Two-Weapon Fighting.** When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack. - **Unarmed Fighting.** Your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier. #### Warrior Techniques At **1st level**, you gain access to the Warrior techniques available to the various Warrior classes. You know a number of Basic Techniques equal to your Monk Bonus. At **6th level**, You Learn one Advanced Technique of your choice, and another at **8th level** and again at **10th level.** At **12th level,** you learn one Master Technique of your choice. You learn another at **14th level.** Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can choose one Basic, Adept and/or Master technique that you know and replace it with another technique of belonging to the same group. You can find all Warrior Techniques at the end of this document. #### Reckless Attack Starting at **2nd level**, you can throw aside all concern for defence to attack with fierce desperation. When you make a weapon attack, you can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives you advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength until the start of your next turn, but attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn. \page

#### Primal Knowledge Starting at **2nd level**, you gain proficiency in another skill of your choice from the list of skills available to Barbarians at 1st level. In addition, while your Rage is active, you can channel primal power when you attempt certain tasks; whenever you make an ability check using one of the following skills, you can make it as a Constitution ability check even if it normally uses a different ability: Acrobatics, Intimidation, Perception, Stealth, or Survival. When you use this ability, your Constitution represents primal power coursing through and around you. #### Primal Path At **3rd level**, you choose a path that shapes the nature of your rage. Your choice grants you path features at **3rd, 6th, 10th**, and **14th levels**. Paths and their features can be found at the bottom of this classes description, after the class features. #### Instinctive Pounce Starting at **3rd level**, your speed increases by 10 feet while you aren't wearing heavy armour. As part of the Bonus Action you take to enter your Rage, you can move up to half your Speed. #### Feat When you reach **4th level**, and again at **8th, 12th, 16th,** and **19th level**, you gain a feat or an Ability Score Improvement. #### Extra Attack Beginning at **5th level**, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. #### Barbaric Wrath Additionally at **5th level**, you are able to hone your primal barbarism into a terrifying force. You gain the following features: ___ - **Raging Terror.** Your fury strikes fear into the hearts of your enemies. You can use your bonus action to terrify those around you. Every creature of your choice within 30 feet of you must succeed a Wisdom Saving throw or be Frightened of you until the Start of your next turn. - **Brutal Critical.** when you score a critical hit, you deal an additional amount of damage equal to your Barbarian level. The type of damage must match one that is already dealt by your weapon. #### Feral Instinct By **7th level**, your instincts are so honed that you add your Barbarian Bonus to your Initiative rolls and Dexterity Saving Throws. Additionally, if you are surprised at the beginning of combat and aren't incapacitated, you can act normally on your first turn, but only if you enter your rage before doing anything else on that turn. #### Primal Resistance Also at **7th level**, your body has adapted to the brutality of primeval forces. While you are raging, you have resistance to all damage types except for psychic.

#### Brutal Strikes At **9th level**, if you use Reckless Attack, you can forgo rolling one d20 for one attack roll you make on your turn with a Strength-based attack. If that attack hits, the target takes an extra 1d10 damage of the same type dealt by the weapon, and you can cause one Brutal Strike effect of your choice. You have the following effect options: ___ - **Forceful Blow.** The target is pushed 15 feet straight away from you. You can then Move up to half your Speed straight toward the target without provoking Opportunity Attacks. - **Hamstring Blow.** The target’s Speed is reduced by 15 feet until the start of your next turn. Additionally, you now score a critical hit on a d20 roll of 19 or 20 when you make a weapon attack. #### Indomitable Might Beginning at **11th level**, if you make an ability check to which you would add your Barbarian Bonus, or you make a Strength Save, any result on the d20 lower than a 10 is instead treated as a 10. #### Unbreakable Beginning at **13th level**, you do not break under the force of external preasure. You add your Barbarian bonus to all of your Saving Throws (Except Dexterity, which already gains this bonus from Feral Instinct). #### Greater Brutal Strikes You have honed new ways to attack furiously. The following effects are now among your Brutal Strike options: ___ - **Staggering Blow.** The target has Disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes, and it can’t make Opportunity Attacks until the start of your next turn. - **Sundering Blow.** Your blow leaves an opening in the creature’s defense for an ally until the start of your next turn. The next attack roll made by another creature against the target gains a bonus to that roll equal to your Barbarian Bonus. Additionally, you now score a critical hit on a d20 roll between 18-20 when you make a weapon attack. \page

#### Relentless Rage Starting at **15th level**, your Rage can keep you fighting despite grievous wounds. If you drop to 0 Hit Points while your Rage is active and don’t die outright, you can make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. If you succeed, your Hit Points instead change to a number equal to twice your Barbarian level. Each time you use this feature after the first, the DC increases by 5. When you finish a ShortRest or Long Rest, the DC resets to 10 #### Epic Boon When you choose your Feats at **16th** and again at **19th level**, you can instead choose to take an Epic Boon. #### Apex Predator At **17th level**, You gain the following Features. ___ - **Reckless Abandon.** when you have advantage on a d20 roll while you are raging, you roll an additional d20 and use the die with the highest result. - **Brutality.** The extra damage your Brutal Strike deals increases to 2d10. - **Brutal Strikes.** you can use two different Brutal Strike effects when you use your Brutal Strike feature. #### Persistent Rage At **18th level**, When you roll Initiative, you can regain all expended uses of Rage. After you regain uses of Rage in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest. In addition, your Rage is so fierce that it now lasts for 10 minutes without you needing to do anything to extend it from round to round. The Rage ends early if you have the Unconscious, not the Incapacitated, condition or don Heavy Armour. Moreover, even when you are not Raging, you are resistant to Peircing, Slashing, and Bludgeoning damage. #### Primal Champion At **20th level**, you embody the power of the wilds. Your Strength and Constitution scores increase by 4, up to a maximum of 30. Additionally, If you roll Initiative with no uses of your Rage left, you gain 1 use. ## Primal Paths Beginning at **3rd level**, your heart is a furnace fueled by rage. Every barbarian has a different source to which they attribute their rage, however. For some, it is a spiritual blessing from a token or ancestor, for others, an internal smoldering that forges their trails and tribulations into unwavering might. Which path brought you to be a primal warrior?

### Path of the Animal Spirit Wild Heart, Totem Warrior, whatever you call it. Some of the base class makes some of that subclass redundant, so here's the new one: #### Spirit Seeker Yours is a path that seeks attunement with the natural world, giving you a kinship with beasts. At **3rd level** when you adopt this path, you gain the ability to cast the Beast Sense and Speak with Animals spells, but only as rituals. #### Rage of the Wild Your Rage taps into the primal power of animals. At **3rd level**, you gain one of the following options of your choice. Whenever you gain a Barbarian level, you can change your choice. ___ - **Behmoth.** When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, that creature has disadvantage on attack rolls made against anyone other than you, and all saving throws imposed by that creature are made with advantage. This remains in effect until the end of its next turn. - **Flyer.** When you activate your Rage and as a Bonus Action while it’s active, you can take both the Disengage and the Dash action. - **Prowler.** While your Rage is active, your allies have Advantage on melee attack rolls against any enemy of yours within 10 feet of you. #### Aspect of the Beast At **6th level**, you gain one of the following options of your choice. Whenever you gain a Barbarian level, you can change your choice. ___ - **Behemoth.** You gain proficiency in the Athletics or Insight skill. If you already have proficiency in the skill, you gain Expertise in it instead. Your carrying capacity is doubled. - **Flyer.** You gain proficiency in the Investigation or Perception skill. If you already have proficiency in the skill, you gain Expertise in it instead. You suffer no penalty as a result of an area being lightly obscured. - **Prowler.** You gain proficiency in the Stealth or Survival skill. If you already have proficiency in the skill, you gain Expertise in it instead. You have advantage an ability checks made to forage and track. #### Power of the Wilds At **10th level**, you gain one of the following options of your choice. Whenever you gain a Barbarian level, you can change your choice: ___ - **Behemoth.** While your Rage is active, when you hit a Large or smaller creature with a melee attack, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Strength modifier) or have the Prone condition. - **Flyer.** While your Rage is active, you have a Fly Speed equal to your Speed, provided you aren’t wearing any armour. - **Prowler.** When you move at least 15 feet towards a creature before taking the attack action, You can make one additional attack, which must be made against that creature, as part of the attack action. \page

#### Spirit Walker Also at **10th level**, You can cast the Commune with Nature spell, but only as a Ritual. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for it. #### Summon the Pack At **14th level**, you are able to call on bestial spirits to aid you in battle. As a bonus action, which can be the same bonus action as the one you use to enter your rage, you can gain the benefits of having cast the spell Conjure Animals. This is not prevented by your inability to cast spells while raging, and you do not need to concentrate on the spell - it lasts its full duration. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest. You can expend a use of your Rage (no action required) to regain the ability to use this feature. ### Path of the Beserker ___ *Wizard's of the Coast owns this flavour text too, and I'm still not looking to get Pinkertoned* #### Maniacal Glare Starting when you choose this path at **3rd level**, you become a beastial creature who people fear could snap at any moment and break them. As a result, you have proficiency with the intimidation skill. If you already have this proficiency, you instead gain Expertise with this skill. #### Frenzy Starting at **3rd level**, you can go into a frenzy in battle. If you use Reckless Attack while your Rage is active, you deal extra damage to the first target you hit on your turn with a Strength-based attack. To determine the extra damage, roll a number of d6s equal to your Barbarian bonus, and add them together. The damage has the same type as the weapon or Unarmed Strike used for the attack. #### Mindless Rage Beginning at **6th level**, you have immunity to the Charmed and Frightened conditions while your Rage is active. If you are Charmed or Frightened when you enter your Rage, that condition ends on you. #### Intimidating Presence Beginning at **10th level**, your Raging Terror is improved in the following ways: ___ - **Range.** you can use your Raging Terror against creatures within 60 feet of you who are not behind total cover. - **Assured Terror.** The DC of your Targets' Saving Throw is increased by an amount equal to your Barbarian Bonus. - **Cause for Fear.** While a creature is Frightened of you, you have advantage on attack rolls and ability checks made against them. #### Retaliation Starting at **14th level**, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature. If you are attacking recklessly, you can choose to use your Frenzy feature without expending a use of it as part of this attack. ### Path of the Storm *Wizard's of the Coast owns this flavour text too, and I'm still not looking to get Pinkertoned* #### Primordial Storm Also at **3rd level**, wenever you finish a long rest, you attune to a certain type of primordial storm within you. The options you may choose from are choose firestorm, thunderstorm, or Snowstorm. Your choice of primordial spirit grants you a feature from the options below. ___ - **Firestorm.** As a bonus action, you can touch a flammable object that isn’t being worn or carried by anyone else and set it on fire. - **Thunderstorm.** As a bonus action, you can summon wind, rainfall and the faint sounds of thunder in the distance. These effects only occur within a 30ft radius of you, and water from the rainfall vanishes 1 minute after you leave the area. - **Snowstorm.** As an bonus action, you can freeze and shape water in a 5-foot cube into ice sculptures, which melt after 1 minute. This action fails if a creature is in the cube. Additionally, you can foretell what the whether will be like for the following 24 hours within a mile radius of your location during a short or long rest. #### Raging Storm At **3rd level**, you emanate a stormy, magical aura while you rage. The aura extends 10 feet from you in every direction, but not through total cover. Your aura has an effect that activates when you enter your rage, and you can activate the effect again on each of your turns as a bonus action. If your aura’s effects require a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. Your aura effect is determined by the storm type you chose for your Primordial Storm. ___ - **Firestorm.** When this effect is activated, all creatures in your aura other than you take 1d4 fire damage. The damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 2d4 at **6th level**, 3d4 at **10th level**, and 4d4 at **14th level**. - **Thunderstorm.** When this effect is activated, you can choose one other creature you can see in your aura. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw. The target takes 1d8 lightning or thunder damage (your choice) on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 2d8 at **6th level**, 3d8 at **10th level**, and 4d8 at **14th level**. - **Snowstorm.** When this effect is activated, you and each other creature of your choice in your aura gain 1d4 temporary hit points, as icy spirits inure it to suffering. The temporary hit points increase when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 2d4 at **6th level**, 3d4 at **10th level**, and 4d4 at **14th level**. \page #### Storm Soul At **6th level**, the storm grants you benefits even when your aura isn’t active. The benefits are based on the storm type you chose for your Primordial Storm. ___ - **Firestorm.** You gain resistance to fire damage, and you don’t suffer the effects of extreme heat, as described in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. - **Thunderstorm.** You gain resistance to lightning or thunder damage (your choice when you select thunderstorm). - **Snowstorm.** You gain resistance to cold damage, and you don’t suffer the effects of extreme cold, as described in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. Additionally, whenever you would apply your Barbarian bonus to damage, you can choose for that damage from your Barbarian bonus to be of the damage type to which you are resistant as a result of this feature. If you take damage of that damage type, you can choose for all of your weapon damage to instead be that damage type on your next weapon attack, for which you roll the damage twice and use the higher result. #### Shielding Storm At **10th level**, you learn to use your mastery of the storm to protect others. Each creature of your choice has the damage resistance you gained from the Storm Soul feature while the creature is in the aura of your Raging Storm. Additionally, while your raging storm feature is active, you can hover up to 5 feet above the ground, held aloft by the storm you have summoned. While hovering this way, you are immune to the prone condition. You cannot begin hovering this way if you are already prone. #### Fury of the Storm At **14th level**, the power of the storm you channel grows mightier, lashing out at your foes. The effect is based on the storm type you chose for your Primordial Storm. ___ - **Firestorm.** Immediately after a creature in your aura hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to force that creature to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes fire damage equal to your barbarian level, or half as much damage on a successful one. - **Thunderstorm.** When you hit a creature in your aura with an attack, you can use your reaction to force that creature to make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes lightning or thunder damage equal to half your barbarian level and is knocked prone, or half as much damage and not knocked prone on a successful one. - **Snowstorm.** Whenever the effect of your Storm Aura is activated, you can choose one creature you can see in the aura. That creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw as magical frost covers it. On a failed save, the creature takes cold damage equal to half your barbarian level and its speed is reduced to 0 until the start of your next turn, or half as much damage and its speed is not reduced on a successful one. \page

You must be wielding a shield. - **Thrown Weapon Fighting.** When you hit with a thrown weapon, you gain a bonus to the damage roll equal to your Fighter Bonus. - **Two-Weapon Fighting.** When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack. - **Unarmed Fighting.** Your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier. #### Second Wind You have a limited well of stamina that you can draw on to recover from harm. As a Bonus Action, you can regain Hit Points equal to 1d10 +your Fighter level + Your Fighter Bonus. You have a number of uses of this feature equal to your Fighter Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

#### Warrior Techniques At **1st level**, you gain access to the Warrior techniques available to the various Warrior classes. You know a number of Basic Techniques equal to your Fighter Bonus. At **6th level**, You Learn one Adept Technique of your choice, and another at **8th level** and again at **10th level.** At **12th level,** you learn one Master Technique of your choice. You learn another at **14th level.** Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can choose one Basic, Adept and/or Master technique that you know and replace it with another technique of belonging to the same group. You can find all Warrior Techniques at the end of this document. #### Martial Manoeuvres Beginning at **2nd level**, you gain the ability to use tactical Manoeuvres to control the battlefield. These Manoeuvres are detailed at the end of the Fighter class. The following rules guide how your Martial Manoeuvre's function: ___ - **Manouevres Prepared.** When you finish a long rest, you can prepare a number of Manoeuvres equal to your Fighter Bonus. - **Conditions.** Every Manoeuvre will provide a condition to be met (such as making a successful hit) or name the type of action required to use the Manoeuvre, followed by its benefits. - **Manoeuvre Die.** Some Manoeuvers will use Manoeuver Die, which can be found in the Manoeuver Die Column of the Fighter class table. - **Uses Per turn.** you can use a number of manoeuvre's per turn equal to your fighter bonus - 1, but never more than manoeuvre or manoeuvre die can be applied to a single attack. - **Save DC.** Some of your Manoeuvers require your target to make a saving throw to resist the Manoeuver's effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows: 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Dexterity, Strength, or Intelligence modifer. - **Uses.** Using a Manoeuvre expends one Manoeuvre Point. You have a number of Manoeuvre Points equal to your Fighter Bonus. - **Regain Uses.** All expended uses are regained on a long rest. Once between long rests, you can regain all expended uses after finishing a short rest. Otherwise, you regain 1 expended use on finishing a short rest. #### Action Surge Starting at **3rd level**, You can push yourself beyond your normal limits for a moment. On your turn, you can take one additional action, chosen from the followingaction options: Attack, Dash, Disengage, Dodge, or Use an Object. Alternatively, you can use this extra action to use a feature gained from your ancestry, a Feat, or a feature you have access to from the Fighter class that requires an Action. ___ You have one use of this feature. All expended uses are replenished when you finish a short or long rest. At **15th level**, you gain an additional use of this feature. When you gain this, you cannot use both your uses of this feature on the same turn. \page

#### Martial Archetype At **3rd level**, you choose an archetype that you strive to emulate in your combat styles and techniques. Choose Champion, Battle Master, or Eldritch Knight, all detailed at the end of the class description. The archetype you choose grants you features at 1st level and again at **7th, 10th**, and **14th level**. > ##### How to use old subclasses. Move 7th level features to 6th, and both 15th and 18th level features to 14. #### Feat When you reach **4th level**, and again at **8th, 12th, 16th,** and **19th level**, you gain a feat or Ability score Improvement. #### Extra Attack Beginning at **5th level**, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. The number of attacks increases to three when you reach **11th level** in this class and to four when you reach **17th level** in this class. #### Tactical Shift Also at **5th level,** whenever you activate your Second Wind with a Bonus Action, you can move up to half your Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks. #### Cascading Exertion At **7th level**, your great bouts of effort cascade into greater success. When you expend a use of your Second Wind or Action Surge feature, you may reroll the next d20 roll that you fail within the next minute. #### Indomitable Beginning at **9th level**, if you fail a saving throw, you can choose to increase your number rolled by a number equal to your Fighter level. Once you use this feature, you can’t use this feature again until you finish a Long Rest. #### Battle Ready At **11th level,** once per long rest, you can use a manoeuver which you dont have prepared. When you finish a short rest, you can swap one prepared manoeuvre for one you don't have prepared.

#### Studied Strikes At **13th level**, you masterfully study your opponents and learn from each attack you make. If you make an attack roll against a creature and miss, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn. #### Epic Boon When you gain a Feat at **16th level**, and again later at **19th level**, you can choose to instead take an Epic Boon. #### Manoeuvre Master At **17th level**, you can use your manoeuvres with great ease. Once per turn, when you use a Maneuvre, you can roll a d8 and use the number rolled instead of your Manoeuvre die without expending a manoeuvre point. Additionally, the number of manoeuvre's you can use each turn increases to 4, and when you use your Action Surge, you can use your additional action to regain all expended manoeuvres. #### Unconquerable When you’re in great peril, you can tap into a deep well of resilience within yourself. From **18th level**, If you fail a saving throw and your Indomitable feature is expended, you can use it again by expending a use of your Second Wind, which also heals you as if you had used Second Wind. #### Master Warrior At **20th level**, you have mastery over your abilities that make you such a fearsome warrior. You gain the following benefits: ___ - **Retaliatory Surge.** When you succeed on a saving throw after using your Indomitable feature, you can use your Action Surge feature on your following turn without expending a use of Action Surge. - **Indomitable.** You regain your use of Indomitable on a short or long rest. - **Manoeuvres.** When you roll your Manoeuvre die, add your Fighter Bonus to the number rolled. \page

## Manoeuvre Options In the following you will find a list of all the Manoeuvres available to the fighter class. For the most part this is the same as published, and is not SRD material. So the following list function exactly as published for the Battlemaster, but you expend a manoeuvre point instead of superiority die, and roll the manoeuver die appropriate for your Fighter level. - Bait and Switch - Brace - Coordinate - Disarming Attack - Distracting Strike - Evasive Footwork - Goading Attack - Feinting Attack - Lunging Attack - Momentous Strike - Maneuvering Attack - Menacing Attack - Parry - Precision Attack - Rally - Reposte - Sweeping Attack, #### Restrain Immediately after you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack on your turn, you can expend one Manoeuver point and use a bonus action to grapple the target Add one Manoeuver Die to your Strength (Athletics) check. The target is also restrained while grappled in this way. #### Shove When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can expend one Manoeuvre point to attempt to shove the target as part of that attack. If the target is no larger than two size categories larger than you, it must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, you push the target 5 feet away from you or knock them prone, and deal an exra Manoeuver Die of bludgeoning damage. #### Commanding Presence When you fail a Charisma check, you can expend one Manoeuvre Point and add a roll of your manoeuvre die to the result, potentially turning it to a success. #### Tactical Wit When you fail a Wisdom or Intelligence check, you can expend one Manoeuvre Point and add a roll of your manoeuvre die to the result, potentially turning it to a success. #### Trained Physique When you fail a Strength or Dexterity check, you can expend one Manoeuvre Point and add a roll of your manoeuvre die to the result, potentially turning it to a success. \page ## Martial Archetypes Different fighters choose different approaches to perfecting their fighting prowess. The martial archetype you choose to emulate reflects your approach. #### Fletcher's Craft At **3rd level**, arcane archers have a knack for carving arcane sigils, which they notch into your bows and channel through their arrows. In persuit of this knoweldge, you gain proficency with Woodcarver's tools, as well as either the Arcana or Nature skill. #### Curving Shot At **3rd level**, you learn how to direct an errant arrow toward a new target. When you miss a ranged weapon attack, you can use a bonus action to reroll the attack roll against a different target within 30 feet of the original target. #### Magic Arrow At **6th level**, you gain the ability to infuse arrows with magic. Whenever you fire a nonmagical arrow from a shortbow or longbow, you can make it magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. The magic fades from the arrow immediately after it hits or misses its target. Additionally, once per turn, your ranged weapon attacks deal additional force damage to the target equal to a roll of your Manoeuvre die. You can grant this bonus a number of times equal to your Fighter Bonus, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. #### Bird in the Hand At **10th level**, you can use your curving shot ability even when you hit your original target. If your original attack roll would hit your second target, you do not need to roll a second time. If you do roll a second time, you must use the new roll. #### Rapid Fire Also at **14th level,** you can cast Swift Quiver once, and make the attacks granted by the spell as part of the same bonus action. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so until you finish a long rest. Additionally, you can expend one use of your Action Surge feature and immediately cast this spell using the action granted by the feature. #### Arcane Archer Manoeuvres The arcane archer gets additional choices for their manoeuvres, as shown below. ##### Banishing Arrow You use abjuration magic to try to temporarily banish your target to a harmless location in the Feywild. The creature hit by the arrow must also succeed on a Charisma saving throw or be banished. While banished in this way, its speed is 0, and it is incapacitated. At the end of its next turn, the target reappears in the space it vacated or in the nearest unoccupied space if that space is occupied. Additionally, add 1 Manoeuver Die of force damage to the target.

##### Bursting Arrow You imbue your arrow with force energy drawn from the school of evocation. The arrow detonates after your attack. Immediately after the arrow hits the creature, the target and all other creatures within 10 feet of it take 1 Manoeuver Die of force damage each. ##### Beguiling Arrow Your enchantment magic causes this arrow to temporarily beguile its target. The creature hit by the arrow takes one Manoeuver Die of psychic damage, and choose one of your allies within 30 feet of the target. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw, or it is charmed by the chosen ally until the start of your next turn. This effect ends early if the chosen ally attacks the charmed target, deals damage to it, or forces it to make a saving throw. ##### Enfeebling Arrow You weave necromantic magic into your arrow. The creature hit by the arrow takes an one Manoeuver Die of necrotic damage. The target must also succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or the damage dealt by its weapon attacks is halved until the start of your next turn. ##### Grasping Arrow When this arrow strikes its target, conjuration magic creates grasping, poisonous brambles, which wrap around the target. The creature hit by the arrow takes an 1 Manoeuver Die of poison damage, its speed is reduced by 10 feet, and it takes another one Manoeuver Die of slashing damage the first time on each turn it moves 5 foot or more without teleporting. The target or any creature that can reach it can use its action to remove the brambles with a successful Strength (Athletics) check against your Manoeuver Save DC. Otherwise, the brambles last for 1 minute or until you use this option again. ##### Piercing Arrow You use transmutation magic to give your arrow an ethereal quality. When you use this option, you don’t make an attack roll for the attack. Instead, the arrow fires forward in a line, which is 1 foot wide and 30 feet long, before disappearing. The arrow passes harmlessly through objects, ignoring cover. Each creature in that line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes damage as if it were hit by the arrow, plus one Manoeuver Die of piercing damage. On a successful save, a target takes half as much damage. ##### Seeking Arrow Using divination magic, you grant your arrow the ability to seek out your target, allowing the arrow to curve and twist its path in search of its prey. When you use this option, you don’t make an attack roll for the attack. Instead, choose one creature you have seen in the past minute. The arrow flies toward that creature, moving around corners if necessary and ignoring three-quarters cover and half cover. If the target is within the weapon’s range and there is a path large enough for the arrow to travel to the target, the target must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, it takes damage as if it were hit by the arrow, plus one Manoeuver Die of force damage, and you learn the target’s current location. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage, and you don’t learn its location. \page

##### Shadow Arrow You weave illusion magic into your arrow, causing it to occlude your foe’s vision with shadows. The creature hit by the arrow takes one Manoeuver Die of psychic damage, and it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be unable to see anything farther than 5 feet away until the start of your next turn. ### Spellblade This is the Eldritch Knight, but cooler.

#### Weapon Bond At **3rd level**, you learn a ritual that creates a magical bond between yourself and one weapon. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest. The weapon must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch the weapon and forge the bond. Once you have bonded a weapon to yourself, you can't be disarmed of that weapon unless you are incapacitated. If it is on the same plane of existence, you can summon that weapon as a bonus action on your turn, causing it to teleport instantly to your hand. You can have up to two bonded weapons, but can summon only one at a time with your bonus action. If you attempt to bond with a third weapon, you must break the bond with one of the other two.

#### Spellcasting When you reach **3rd level**, you augment your martial prowess with the ability to cast spells. ___ - **Source of Magic.** the Source of Magic table below determines what type of Spellblade you are. Your Source of Magic determines what schools of magic you may prepare from, what your Spellcasting Ability is, and which Spell Lists you draw your spells from. - **Spell Slots.** The Spellblade table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest. - **Preparing Spells.** when you finish a long rest, you prepare a number of spells from your spell list as shown in the Prepared Spells column for your level in the Mystical Trickster Table. These spells must be of a level no higher than the highest level spell slot you have available, as shown in the same table. Of your Prepared spells, two must be from either the Abjuration or Evocation school of magic. - **Cantrips.** You know 2 cantrips of your choice from your spell list, which must be from the evocation or Abjuration school. You can also choose to replace half (rounded down) of your Basic Techniques with a cantrip from your chosen spell list. When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, that creature has disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes against a spell or manoeuvre you use before the end of your next turn. #### Arcane Charge At **14th level**, you gain the ability to teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see when you use your Action Surge. You can teleport before or after the additional action. \page

#### Improved War Magic Also at **14th level**, when you use your action to cast a spell, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action. ### Warlord Warlords are born battlefield commanders, inspiring others either through loyalty or through fear. They are brilliant and cunning tacticians, having spent years studying warfare, or simply possessing an innate talent for leadership. Whether a stalwart captain of the guards or a ruthless mercenary leader, the Warlord strengthens their companions with their words and actions, while exposing weaknesses in enemies' defences and commanding his allies to strike. #### Feared and Respected At **3rd level**, you gain proficiency in Intimidation and Persuasion. #### Master of Tactics Also at **3rd level**, you can use the Search or Help action as a bonus action. Additionally, when you use the help action to aid an ally in attacking a creature, the target of that attack can be within 30 feet of you, rather than 5 feet, if your attacking ally can see or hear you. #### Rally At **6th level**, when you use your bonus action to use the Help Action or Second Wind, you can grant the benefits of your Second Wind ability to an ally within 60 feet of you. This does not expend a use of your Second wind feature. You can do this a number of times equal to your Fighter Bonus, and regain expended uses when you finish a long rest. #### Lead By Example At **10th level**, when you perform a manoeuvre, your allies follow. When you perform a Martial Manoeuvre, you can grant an ally within 30 feet of you the ability to perform the same manoeuvre within the next 10 minutes. A creature can only retain the ability to perform one manoeuvre this way at any given time. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Fighter Bonus, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest, or 1 expended use when you finish a short rest. #### Fight As One At **14th level**, whenever you use your Indomitable abilty to reroll a saving throw, you can allow a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus and within 30 feet of you to gain the benefits of your Indomitable ability. They can choose to use it immediately against a save they are making, or they can use it against a saving throw they make in the next minute. A creature can only hold one use of Indomitable this way at any given time.

### Battle Master What are you talking about? It's brand new. #### Combat Superiority At **3rd level,** you have focused your talents into the special forms honed by all warriors. You gain the following benefits: ___ - **Additional Manoeuvres.** The number of Manoeuvre's you have prepared now equals twice your Fighter Bonus, and the number manoeuvre points you have increases by an amount equal to half of your Fighter Bonus. - **Adaptable Form.** When you finish a short or long rest, you can change your fighting style to another one provided by the fighter class. #### Battle Control At **6th level,** when a creature enters or moves from or within your reach, you can use your reaction to take the attack action against them. #### Indomitable Power At **10th level,** overcoming your enemies strengthens your resolve. When you use your indomitable feature, you gain the benefits of your Tactical Shift feature, gain temporary hit points equal to your Fighter level, and can make one attack against the creature who imposed the saving throw against which you used Indomitable. #### Surge Superiority At **14th level,** your dedication to combat efficiency reaches its peak. When you use action surge, you gain the following additional benefits: ___ - **Additional Strike.** You can make one additional attack that turn. - **Bonus Action.** You gain an additional bonus action - **Reaction.** You gain an additional reaction until the start of your next turn. \page

#### Martial Arts At **1st level**, your practice of martial arts gives you master of combat styles that use unarmed strikes and monk weapons, which are simple or martial weapons that don't have the two-handed or heavy property. You gain the following benefits: ___ - **Nimble Strikes.** You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes and any weapon that lacks the Heavy or Special properties. - **Martial Arts Die.** You can roll a d6 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strike or monk weapon. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table. #### Fighting Style At **1st level**, you gain one of the following fighting styles: ___ - **Archery.** You gain a bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons equal to half of your Monk Bonus. - **Blind Fighting.** You have blindsight with a range of equal to 5 times your Monk bonus, in feet. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn't behind total cover, even if you're blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the creature successfully hides from you. - **Close Quarters Shooter.** When making a ranged attack while you are within 5 feet of a hostile creature, you do not have disadvantage on the attack roll, and your damage with Ranged weapons increases by half of your Monk Bonus. - **Defence.** While you are wearing armour, you gain a bonus to your AC equal to half your Monk Bonus. - **Dueling.** When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a bonus to damage rolls with that weapon equal to your Monk Bonus. - **Interception.** When a creature you can see hits a target that is within 5 feet of you with an attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage the target takes by your Monk Bonus + a number of d10s equal to half your Monk Bonus (to a minimum of 0 damage). #### Unarmoured Movement Starting at **2nd level** while you are not wearing armour or wielding a shield, your Speed increases by 10 times your Monk Bonus, and your Jump Distance is determined by your Wisdom modifier instead of your Strength. #### Monk's Focus Starting at **2nd level**, your training allows you to harness the mystic energy of ki. Your access to this energy is represented by a number of Focus Points equal to half of your Monk level + your Monk Bonus. You can spend these points to fuel various focus features. You start knowing three such features: Flurry of Blows, Patient Defence, and Step of the Wind. You learn more Focus features as you gain levels in this class. When you spend a focus point, it is unavailable until you finish a short or long rest, at the end of which you draw all of your expended focus back into yourself. You must spend at least 30 minutes of the rest meditating to regain your Focus points. Some of your Focus features require your target to make a saving throw to resist the feature's effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows: **Focus save DC** = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier ___ - **Distant Eye.** When you make a ranged weapon attack, you can spend 1 Focus point to prevent attacking at long range from imposing disadvantage on your attack rolls until the end of the current turn. - **Flurry of Blows.** You can spend 1 Focus point to make an unarmed strikes as a bonus action. - **Patient Defence.** You can take the Disengage action as a Bonus Action. Alternatively, you can spend 1 Focus Point to take both the Disengage and the Dodge actions as a Bonus Action. - **Step of the Wind** You can take the Dash action as a Bonus Action. Alternatively, you can spend 1 Focus Point to take both the Disengage and Dash actions as a Bonus Action, and your jump distance is doubled for the turn. #### Uncanny Metabolism Also at **2nd level,** when you roll Initiative, you can regain all expended Focus Points. When you do so, roll your Martial Arts die, and regain a number of Hit Points equal to your Monk level plus the number rolled. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest. #### Monastic Tradition When you reach **3rd level**, you commit yourself to a monastic tradition. Your tradition grants you features at **1st level** and again at **6th, 10th**, and **14th level**. \page

"Warrior of the ___" sucks. #### Feat When you reach **4th level**, and again at **8th, 12th, 16th,** and **19th level**, you gain a feat or Ability score Improvement. #### Slow Fall Beginning at **4th level**, you can use your reaction when you fall to reduce any falling damage you take by an amount equal to five times your monk level. #### Extra Attack Beginning at **5th level**, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. #### Heightened Focus At **5th level**, your unarmed strikes count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. Additionally, you gain the following additional options with which you can use your Ki. ___ - **Deflect Attacks.** You can use your Reaction to deflect melee and ranged attacks against you that deal Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage. When you do so, the total damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d10 plus your Dexterity modifier plus your Monk level. If you reduce the damage to 0, you can spend 1 Focus Point to redirect some of the attack’s force. If you do so, choose a creature within 5 feet of you if the attack was a melee attack or 60 feet of yourself that isn’t behind Total Cover if the attack was a ranged attack. That creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take damage equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die plus your Dexterity modifier. The damage is the same type dealt by the attack. - **Focused Aim.** When you miss with an attack roll, you can spend 1 to 3 Focus points to increase your attack roll by 2 for each of these Focus points you spend, potentially turning the miss into a hit. - **Soul-Seeking Strike.** On your turn, when you are blinded or another creature is heavily obscured or invisible, you can expend 1 Focus point to negate the disadvantage you have on attack rolls against that creature until the end of your turn. - **Stunning Strike.** Once per turn when you hit a creature with a Monk Weapon or an Unarmed Strike, you can spend 1 Focus Point to attempt a stunning strike. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target has the Stunned condition until the start of your next turn. On a successful save, it's speed is halved until the start of yor next turn and the next attack roll made against it has Advantage. - **Sweeping Strike.** As a bonus action, you can expend 2 Focus point to make an unarmed strike which targets all creatures within 5 feet of you. Additionally, all creatures hit by this attack must make a strength saving throw or be knocked prone. - **Quickened Healing.** as a bonus action, you can spend 2 Focus points and roll a Martial Arts die. You regain a number of hit points equal to the number rolled plus your Wisdom modifier. #### Evasion At **7th level**, your instinctive agility lets you dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a blue dragon's lightning breath or a fireball spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail. #### Self-Restoration At **9th level**, Through sheer force of will, you can use a Bonus Action to remove one of the following conditionsfrom yourself: Charmed, Frightened, or Poisoned. In addition, forgoing food and drink doesn’t give you levels of Exhaustion. #### Unbound Movement At **9th level**, you gain the ability to move along vertical surfaces and across liquids on your turn without falling during the move. #### Perfect Focus At **11th level,** deep meditation has guided you to a refined sense of foucs. ___ - **Deflect Attacks.** You can now use your Deflect Atacks feature against attacks that deal any damage type, not just Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing. - **Flurry of Blows.** Once per turn when you use flurry of blows, you can spend an additional Focus point to make an additional unarmed strike as part of the same bonus action. - **Patient Defence.** When you spend a Focus Point to use Patient Defense, you gain a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die. - **Soul-Seeking Strike.** When you use this feature, you gain blindsight out to a range of 60 feet until the start of your next turn. - **Step of the Wind.** When you spend a Focus Point to use Step of the Wind, you can choose a willing creature within 5 feet of you that is no greater than one size larger than you. You move the creature with you until the end of your turn. The creature’s movement doesn’t provoke Opportunity Attacks. - **Stunning Strike.** If a creature succeeds on their save against your stunning strike, they take Force damage equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die plus your Wisdom Modifier. #### Refined Reflexes At **13th level,** you gain a second reaction per round. \page

#### Empathic Tongue Also at **13th level**, you learn to touch the energy of other minds so that you understand all spoken languages. Moreover, any creature that can understand a language can understand what you say. Additionally, you are able to spend 1 Focus point to cast Speak with Animals, 2 Focus Points to cast Speak with Plants, or 3 Focus points to cast Speak with Dead, or you can spend 1 Focus point to give yourself advantage on Charisma ability checks you make within the next 10 minutes. #### Disciplined Resilience Beginning at **15th level**, Your physical and mental discipline grant you proficiency in all saving throws. Additionally, whenever you make a saving throw and fail, you can spend 1 Focus Point to reroll it and take the second result. #### Epic Boon When you gain a Feat at **16th level**, and again later at **19th level**, you can choose to instead take an Epic Boon. #### Superior Defence From **17th level**, as a Bonus Action, you can spend 3 Focus Points to perfectly bolster yourself against harm for 1 minute or until you are Incapacitated. During that time, you have resistance to all damage except Force damage #### Empty Body Beginning at **18th level**, you can use your action to spend 8 Focus points to become invisible for 1 minute. During that time, you also have resistance to all damage but force damage. Additionally, you can spend 8 Focus points to cast the Astral Projection spell, without needing material components. When you do so, you can't take any other creatures with you.

#### Quivering Palm Also at **18th level**, you gain the ability to set up lethal vibrations in someone’s body. When you hit a creature with an Unarmed Strike, you can spend 3 Focus Points to start these imperceptible vibrations, which last for a number of days equal to your Wisdom Modifier. The vibrations are harmless unless you use your action to end them. To do so, you and the target must be on the same plane of existence. When you use this action, the target must make a Constitution saving throw, taking 10d12 + your Monk level of Force damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. You can have only one creature under the effect of this feature at a time. You can end the vibrations harmlessly without using an action. #### Body and Mind You have honed your body and mind to new heights. **At 20th level**, your Dexterity and Wisdom scores increase by 4. Your maximum for those scores is now 26. Additionally, you now have 3 reactions per round. \page

## Martial Forms Choose one of the following Martial Forms. ### Form of the Elements ___ You follow a monastic tradition that teaches you to harness the elements. When you focus your ki, you can align yourself with the forces of creation and bend the four elements to your will, using them as an extension of your body. Some members of this tradition dedicate themselves to a single element, but others weave the elements together. #### Elemental Control When you choose this tradition at **3rd level**, you learn how to manipulate the four elements in subtle ways. You learn two of the following cantrips: *control flames*, gust*, mold earth*, or *shape water*. You learn two additional cantrips from this list at **10th level**. #### Elemental Spells At **3rd level**, you can cast spells of elemental nature. You learn a number of spells as shown in the Four Elements table bellow, which also shows how many spell slots you have at any given Monk level. These spells must be from the evocation school of magic. Additionally, if the spell deals damage, it must be a spell that deals acid, bludgeoning, cold, fire, lightning or thunder damage, and no damage outside of these damage types. Your spellcasting ability is Wisdom.

Choose two of the stances from the option below. As a bonus action you can enter Stance of the Elements and gain the benefit from your chosen stance. you can activate additional stances as part of the same bonus action or on a subsequent turn using your bonus action, expending 2 Focus points per stance you activate beyond the 1st one. Your stance of the elements lasts for one minute, after which all benefits are lost until it is activated again. ___ - **Flickering Flame.** Your Martial Arts is as destructive as fire, stretching out to scorch your foes. When you land an attack using Martial Arts it does fire damage instead of bludgeoning. Additionally, whenever a creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to force them to make a dexterity saving throw or take fire damage equal to two of your martial arts dice. - **Howling Wind.** Your Martial Arts is as swift as the wind, moving objects and deafening foes. When you land an attack using Martial Arts it does thunder damage instead of bludgeoning. Additionally when you use Deflect Missiles you also add your Wisdom modifier to the check and should you throw the missle you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage. - **Flowing Water.** Your Martial Arts is like that of the icy river, chilling the foes you hit and moving around all obstacles. When you land an attack using Martial Arts it does cold damage instead of bludgeoning. Additionally, you gain the benefits of the disengage action if you make a melee attack until the end of your turn. \page

___ - **Crushing Earth.** Your Martial Arts is powerful and solid like the earth, shaking anything to its core. When you land an attack using Martial Arts you deal double damage against objects, structures and creatures of the Construct type. Additionally, as part of the bonus action to activate your Stance of the Elements or on subsequent bonus actions, you can grant yourself 10 feet of tremorsense until the start of your next turn. ___ Later on at **10th,** and **14th level** you gain access to 1 additional stance of your choice. #### Stance of the Elements Improvement At **10th level**, you gain the following bonuses when you activate your Stance of the Elements: ___ - **Flickering Flame.** When you hit a creature with your flurry of blows, you can expend an additional Focus point to cause a 10-foot radius cloud of smoke centred on the target to errupt. Each creature within the smoke cloud must make a Constitution saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute. As an action on subsequent turns, they can make the saving throw again, ending the condition on a success. The smoke cloud lingers until the start of your next turn, and makes the area it occupies heavily obscured for that duration. - **Howling Wind.** You can use your Deflect Missiles or Energy Deflection features even if you are not the target. However, the target must be within 60 feet of you. - **Flowing Water.** You have a swimming speed equal to your walking speed and you can breathe water. Additionally, when you use your Quickened Healing feature, you can roll 2 of your martial arts dice, instead of 1. - **Crushing Earth.** So long as you have Tremorsense and a creature is within 15 feet of you, they have disadvantage on saves against your stunning strike. #### Elemental Mastery Also, you now have access to the spells which correlate to stances to which you have access: ___ - **Flickering Flame.** *Wall of Flame*. - **Howling Wind.** *Control Winds*. - **Flowing Water.** *Control Water*. - **Crushing Earth.** *Wall of Stone*. Once per long rest, you can cast one of these spells. Once you have expended your use of this feature, you can do so again by expending 6 Focus Points.

### Form of Shadow ___ Monks of the Form of Shadow follow a tradition that values stealth and subterfuge. These monks might be called ninjas or shadowdancers, and they serve as spies and assassins. Sometimes the members of a ninja monastery are family members, forming a clan sworn to secrecy about their arts and missions. Other monasteries are more like thieves' guilds, hiring out their services to nobles, rich merchants, or anyone else who can pay their fees. Regardless of their methods, the heads of these monasteries expect the unquestioning obedience of their students. #### Shadow Arts Through rigorous training, you have learned to draw on the power of the Shadowfell at **3rd level**, gaining the following benefits: ___ - **Darkness.** You can spend 1 Focus Point to cast the Darkness spell without any spell components. You can see within the spell’s area when you cast it with this feature. While the spell persists, you can move its area of darkness to a space within 60 feet of you at the start of each of your turns. - **Darkvision.** You gain Darkvision with a range of 60 feet. If you already have Darkvision, its range increases by 60 feet. - **Shadowy Figments.** You know the Minor Illusion cantrip and use Wisdom as the spellcasting ability for it. #### Shadow Step At **6th level**, while entirely within Dim Light or Darkness, you can use a Bonus Action to teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in Dim Light or Darkness. You then have Advantage on the next melee attack you make before the end of the turn. Additionally, opportunity attacks made against you have disadvantage. #### Greater Shadow Step You can draw on your connection to shadow to empower your teleportation. When you use your Shadow Step to teleport, you can spend 1 Focus Point to remove the requirement that you must start and end in Dim Light or Darkness for that use of the feature. As part of this Bonus Action, you can make an Unarmed Strike immediately after the teleportation. #### Cloak of Shadows At **14th level**, As a Bonus Action while entirely within Dim Light or Darkness, you can spend 3 Discipline Points to shroud yourself with magical darkness for 1 minute, until you have the Incapacitated condition, or until you end your turn in Bright Light. While shrouded in darkness, you gain the following benefits: ___ - **Invisibility.** You have the Invisible condition. - **Partially Incorporeal.** You can move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain, but you take 1d10 Force damage if you end your turn inside a creature or an object. - **Shadow Flurry.** You can use your Flurry of Blows without spending any Discipline Points. \page ### Form of the Sun Soul ___ Monks of the Form of the Sun Soul learn to channel their life energy into searing bolts of light. They teach that meditation can unlock the ability to unleash the indomitable light shed by the soul of every living creature. #### Radiant soul Starting when you choose this tradition at **3rd level**, your radiant personality makes you naturally enticing and people feel naturally drawn to you. You have proficiency in the persuasion skill. #### Radiant Sun Bolt Beginning at **3rd level**, you can hurl searing bolts of magical radiance. You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. This special attack is a magical ranged weapon attack with a range of 30 feet. Its damage is radiant, and its damage die is your martial arts die. When you use Flurry of Blows, you can use this attack instead of an unarmed strike. #### Searing Arc Strike At **6th level**, you gain the ability to channel your Focus into searing waves of energy. Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 2 Focus points to cast the Burning Hands spell as a bonus action. You can spend additional Focus points to cast Burning Hands as a higher level spell. Each additional Focus point you spend increases the spell's level by 1. The maximum number of Focus points (2 plus any additional points) that you can spend on the spell equals half your monk level. #### Solar Shield At **10th level**, you become wreathed in a luminous, magical aura. You shed bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. You can extinguish or restore the light as a bonus action. If a creature hits you with an attack while within the light of this aura, you can use your reaction to deal radiant damage to the creature. The radiant damage equals half your monk level + your Wisdom modifier. #### Searing Sunburst At **14th level**, you gain the ability to create an orb of light that erupts into a devastating explosion. As an action, you magically create an orb and hurl it at a point you choose within 120 feet, where it erupts into a sphere of radiant light for a brief but deadly instant. Each creature in that 20-foot-radius sphere must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take radiant damage equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die and be blinded until the start of your next turn. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not blinded. You can increase the sphere's damage by spending Focus points. Each point you spend, up to a maximum of 3, adds an additional martial arts die to the damage roll.

### Form of Zephyr Running around at the speed of sound - this is the primary tenent to the masters of the form of Zephyr. This martial arts form teaches its practicioners to use their Focus to transform the keneitic energy of their movement into pure energy, and in keeping up their momentum a monk of this kind can transfer that energy into more devestating strikes. A Zephyr monk hones their movement speed, their striking speed, and even the speed of their awareness. #### Momentous Strikes From **3rd level,** you are strike with such swiftness that the momentum of your blows carries with it an arc of energy. As a bonus action, you can activate this feature. When you activate this feature, your next attack deals an additional 1d4 lightning damage. If the following attack hits, you deal an additional 1d6 lightning damage. For each successive hit, the additional die of lightning damage grows, until you miss or it stops at 1d12. When you first miss an attack after using this feature, you stop dealing additional damage and the use of this feature is expended. You have a number of uses of this feature equal to your Monk Bonus. You regain all expended uses of this feature when you finish a long rest, or one expended use when you finish a short rest. #### Unbridled Movement Also at **3rd level,** the bonus speed granted by your Unarmoured Movement feature is doubled. #### Swift Step At **6th level**, when you take the Dash action, your movement speed is tripled instead of doubled. Additionally, you add your proficiency bonus to your Initiative. #### Reserve Energy At **10th level,** if you miss your first attack after activating your Momentous Strikes feature, you do not expend a use of that feature. Additionally, you can forgo your movement on your turn to increase the size of your Momentous Strikes die (up to a maximum of a d12). The first time you miss an attack after using this feature, your die decreases one size (down to a minimum of a d4) instead of being expended. #### Kinetic Kiting At **14th level,** you can move up to half your speed as a reaction when an enemy enters your reach or ends its turn within 5 feet of you. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks. \page ## Rules for Everyone ___ The rules in this section apply to all the classes in this document. ## Warrior Techniques The following is a list of features available to various Warrior classes through the Warrior Techniques feature. There are 3 tiers to the Warrior Techniques: Basic, Advanced, and Master Techniques. When you gain a level in a class with this feature, you can swap one of your known techniques with another in the same tier. Your choice of techniques are also downward transferable - if you dont like any master techniques, you can take a Basic or an Advanced technique instead of a Master Technique, and you can take a Basic Technique in place of an Advanced Technique. You know a number of Basic Techniques equal to your Class Bonus. If you have access to multiple classes with this feature, you can treat your levels in those classes as one class when determining your Class Bonus for this feature. Adept and Master Techniques are gained at certain levels within specific classes, as shown on respective class tables. ___ - **Prerequisites.** Some Warrior Techniques have certain prerequisites you must meet before you are allowed to learn that technique. - **Magically Mundane.** Some Warrior Techniques grant you the ability to 'reproduce the effects' of a spell through mundane means. This because the desired effect already exists in clear text within a spell. However, you are only reproducing the same results - said results are not born of magic, and so cannot be dispelled, counterspelled, or detected by spells such as detect magic. - **Feats.** Some Warrior Techniques grant you a feat. When they do, you do not gain any ability Score Improvement that you would otherwise gain were you to take that feat. - **Repeatable.** If a Technique allows you to make a choice when you choose it, its repeatable. You can't make the same choice twice.

### Basic Techniques All warriors gain access to Basic techniques at **1st level.** You know a number of these techniques equal to your Class Bonus. #### Weapon Mastery Choose a weapon with which you are proficient. You can use that weapons Mastery Property. When you finish a long rest, you can change your choice of weapon for this technique. #### Flexible Weapon Mastery **Prerequisite: 4th level** Choose a Mastery Property. Whenever you are wielding a weapon for which your chosen Mastery Property is the same as the one assigned to said weapon, you can use that Mastery Property with that weapon. #### True Weapon Master ___ - **Prerequisite: 12th level** Choose a weapon. When you finish a long rest, you can choose any one weapon mastery for which that weapon is eligible. Additionally, choose one Mastery property. That property applies whenever you attack with a weapon for which that is the default Mastery Property. > ##### Weapon Mastery Techniques You might have noticed that Flexible Weapon Mastery is a direct upgrade to Weapon Mastery, and True Weapon Mastery an upgrade to that. This is intentional. As you can replace your Techniques when you level up, the expectation is that you would swap any Weapon Mastery you have for a Flexible Weapon Mastery. This quirk only exists to protect from dipping and to not front load power too much. #### Armour Mastery Choose one of the following benefits: ___ - **Light and Ready.** While wearing Light Armour or benefiting from Unarmoured Defence, your walking speed is increased by 10. - **Moderately Armoured.** While wearing Medium Armour, the Maximum Dexterity bonus you can add to your Armour Class is 3 instead of 2. - **Carefully Armoured.** You ignore any armour property which imposes Disadvantage on your Stealth checks. - **Shielded.** The bonus which is granted to your Armour Class by your shield is also granted to your Dexterity Saving Throws. #### Arcane Appraisal **Prerequisite: Intelligence 15 or Arcana proficiency** You are able to cast the Identify spell as a ritual. \page #### Artisan You gain proficiency with 2 Tools of your choice. Whenever you craft using a tool kit with which you are proficient, you require half the total costed materials. #### Athletic Movement As a bonus action, you can grant yourself a bonus to your speed equal to 5 times your Strength Modifier. Whenever you take the Dash action, you also gain an additional bonus to your total movement for that turn equal to 5 times your Strength Modifier. #### Bountiful Resolve **Prerequisite: Level 5** Once per long rest, you can reproduce the effects of the Aid spell at a level equal to half your Class Bonus. #### Brawn **Prerequisite: Strength 13** Your Carrying capacity is doubled, and you gain a bonus equal to your Class Bonus on Strength checks made as part of a Skill Contest, such as grappling or Shoving. #### Climber You gain a climbing speed equal to your Walking speed. #### Cunning Escape **Prerequisite: Charisma 13, or Deception Proficiency** You can use your bonus action to attempt to deceive one humanoid you can see within 30 feet of you that can see and hear you. Make a Charisma (Deception) check contested by the target's Wisdom (Insight) check. If your check succeeds, your movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks from the target and your attack rolls against it have advantage; both benefits last until the end of your next turn or until you use this ability on a different target. If your check fails, the target can't be deceived by you in this way for 1 hour. #### Exceptional Skill Whenever you fail an ability check with a skill with which you have proficiency, you can add your Class Bonus to the roll, potentially turning your failure into a success. You can do this a number of times equal to your Class Bonus. #### Embolden You are able to produce the effects of the Heroism spell as if it were cast at a level equal to your Class Bonus - 1. Once you do so, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest. #### Extra Attack **Prerequisite: Class Bonus +3, does not already have the Extra Attack feature, at least 3 levels in classes which would gain Extra attack at 5th level** When you take the attack action, you can make 2 attacks rather than 1 as part of that action. #### Field Medic **Prerequisite: Medicine proficiency** You can make a Medicine check or use a Healer's Kit as a bonus action. When you use a healers kit on a creature, they regain hit points equal to 1d6 + your class bonus. #### Historian's Recall **Prerequisite: History proficiency** when you would make an Intelligence or Wisdom check that is not a History Check, you can instead make a History Check. You can do this a number of times per day equal to your Class Bonus. #### Inquisitor You have advantage on Intimidation, Persuasion and Insight checks. #### Know your Enemy **Prerequisite: Wisdom or Intelligence 13, Level 5** As a Bonus Action, you can ask for one of the following details from another creatures statistics: ___ - **Ability Scores.** You determine either the highest or lowest ability score your target has. Alternatively, you can ask for the specific value for your choice of the target's ability scores. - **Damage Variation.** Choose either Vulnerabilities, Resistances, Damage Immunities or Condition Immunities. You are given a yes or no answer as to whether your target has any. If the answer is yes, you can ask to be told one that it has and the DM will reveal one of their choice, or you can ask for a yes or no answer as to one in particular. - **Saving Throw DC.** You learn if the target can impose any Saving Throws against you and what the DC is. If there are multiple DCs, the DM declares so, and you can ask to learn either the lowest, Highest, or one for a particular effect of which you are aware. - **Armour Class.** the targets AC. - **Hit Points.** The Targets current Hit Points - **Class features.** If the target has any class features (including Spellcasting) and if so, from which spell list is derives its spells. - **Creature Type.** The targets creature type. - **Proficiencies.** You may ask if the target has any Skill or saving throw proficiencies. If so, one must be revealed to you. You may ask to know one in particular, such as "the creatures Dexterity Saving Throw bonus" or "the targets lowest Saving Throw bonus." At the discretion of your DM, there may be a similar aspect of a creature you may be able to learn with this feature. \page #### Leap of Faith **Prerequisite: Acrobatics or Athletics proficiency, see feature** Once per Long rest, you can produce the effects of the Jump spell, targetting yourself. Additionally, the effects of the spell are altered depending on which proficiency you have. If you have both, you can choose when you activate this feature: ___ - **Athletics: Assisted Leap.** On your turn, by expending 10 ft of your movement speed, you can transfer the benefits of the this feature to one willing creature within 5 feet of you. The benefits revert back to you immediately after they jump. - **Acrobatics: Parkour.** If you touch a fixed object or surface mid air which is not a floor, you can expend an additional 10 ft of movement to jump another 30 feet, pushing off the impacted object or surface to do so. #### Lightweight **Prerequisite: Acrobatics proficiency, Dexterity 13** You can choose to determine your Jump distances using your Dexterity rather than your Strength. Additionally, when you would take fall damage, you may reduce the damage taken by a number of d6s equal to your Class Bonus. #### Linguist **Prerequisite: Intelligence 13** You gain the benefits of the Linguist Feat. #### Natural Charm **Prerequisite: Charisma 13** When a creature within 30 feet of you fails a Charisma Check, you can grant them Advantage on the roll. #### Trap Finder **Prerequisite: level 5, Thieve's Tools Proficiency** Once per long rest, you can produce the effects of the Find Traps spell. #### Perpetual Motion **Prerequisite: Strength or Dexterity 13, 5th level.** Unless you are subject to an effect which specifically reduces your speed to 0 or otherwise would stop you moving entirely, your speed cannot be reduced or hindered in any way. #### Quick Footed **Prerequisite: Dexterity 13** Opportunity attacks against you are made at disadvantage. #### Seeker You can take the Search action as a bonus action. #### Skilled **Prerequisite: Level 5** You gain proficiency with one skill of your choice.

#### Survivalist **Prerequisite: Survival proficiency** At the end of a long rest, you can take enough food and water to sustain one person for a day and fashion it into enough provisions to sustain a number of people equal to your Class bonus. Alternatively, you can take the enough provisions to sustain one person and enrich them so that the person sustained by these provisions gains temporary hit points equal to your Class Bonus at the end of your current long rest, and again whenever they finish a short rest. This enriching property loses its potency after 24 hours or when the affected creature finishes their next long rest - whichever comes first. You can affect a number of provisions using this feature equal to your Class Bonus, and regain the ability to affect provisions this way at the end of your next long rest. ### Advanced Techniques As an advanced warrior, you gain access to one of the following features at **6th level,**, and another at **8th level** and **10th level.** #### Animal Companion **Prerequisite: Animal Handling Proficiency** As part of a long rest, you are able to produce the effects of the Find Familiar Spell through mundane means. #### Armoured Deflection **Prerequisite: Heavy Armour Proficiency** While you are wearing heavy armour, you can use your reaction to reduce the amount of piercing or slashing damage you take by an amount equal to your proficiency bonus. #### Brawler **Prerequisite: Unarmed Fighting Style or Martial Arts feature** You gain the Grappler Feat. You do not need to meet the prerequisites of the feat to gain this benefit. #### Brutal Weapon You gain the Crusher, Piercer, or Slasher Feat. You do not gain the Ability Score Improvement otherwise granted by your choice of feat. #### Calming Presence You mundanely recreate the effects of the *Calm Emotions* spell. \page #### Coersive Charm **Prerequisite: Persuasion Proficiency** When you are talking to a creature with whom you share a language, you can contest your Persuasion check against their Wisdom Saving Throw as a bonus action. On a failed save, the target is Charmed by you for 10 minutes. While Charmed this way, the target cannot speak a lie. Even though the target is charmed, it is not automatically compelled to speak as to reveal information it is attempting to keep secret. If the target takes damage while Charmed this way, they can remake their saving throw with a DC of half the damage taken or 10 (whichever is higher). If at any point the target succeeds on their saving throw, they are immune to this effect for 24 hours. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Class Bonus, and regain expended uses when you finish a long rest. #### Coersive Terror **Prerequisite: Intimidation Proficiency** When you are talking to a creature with whom you share a language, you can contest your Intimdation check against their Wisdom Saving Throw as a bonus action. On a failed save, the target is frightened of you for 10 minutes. While Frightened this way, the target cannot speak a lie. If the target takes damage while frightened this way, they can remake their saving throw with a DC of half the damage taken or 10 (whichever is higher). If at any point the target succeeds on their saving throw, they are immune to this effect for 24 hours. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Class Bonus, and regain expended uses when you finish a long rest. #### Common Feat You gain an Origin Feat of your choice. #### Dirty Tricks ___ - **Saving Throw:** Same Ability as used for the attack roll. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can forgo the damage dealt to attempt to blind or deafen them. If you do so, the target must make a Constitution saving throw. If it fails, the target is either blinded or deafened (your choice) for 1 minute. At the end of each of its turns, the target can make a Constitution saving throw. On a success, the effect ends, the target takes half the damage from the attack, and the creature is immune to this features' effects for an hour. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Class Bonus, and regain expended uses when you finish a long rest. #### Lorekeeper **Prerequisite: 10th level, History Proficiency, Inteliigence 15** You recreate the effects of the *Legend Lore* spell without requiring any Material components. Once you have used this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.

#### Mighty Sprint ___ - **Prerequisite: Strength 15** Once per Short rest, you can grant yourself an additional amount of speed equal to 5 times your Strength Modifier for 10 minutes as a bonus action. During this time, whenever you would make a Dexterity Saving Throw, you can instead make a Strength Saving Throw. #### Mixed Martial Arts ___ - **Prerequisite: 10th level** You gain an additional Fighting Style available to your class. #### Opportunist When a creature misses an attack roll or attacks a creature other than yourself while within your reach, you can use your reaction to make an attack against that creature. #### Poisoner ___ - **Prerequisite: Poisoner's Kit Proficiency** You gain the Poisoner feat. You do not gain the Ability Score Improvement otherwise granted by this feat. #### Soothing Restitution Choose a number of creatures witin 30 feet of you who are partaking in a short rest equal to your Class Bonus. When any of those creatures roll hit dice to regain health as part of the short rest, you can choose to grant them the following benefits: ___ - **Reroll.** The ally may reroll a number of hit dice equal to your Charisma or Wisdom modifier. With each rerolled dice, they choose wether to use the original or rerolled dice. - **Boost.** When the creature rolls their first hit dice, they gain additional hit points equal to your Charisma or Wisdom Score. #### Shield Mastery ___ - **Prerequisite: Shield Training** You gain the Shield Master feat. You do not gain the Ability Score Improvement otherwise granted by this feat. \page ### Master Techniques As a Master warrior, you gain access to one of the following features at **12th level**, and another at **14th level.** #### All Bases Covered ___ - **Prerequisite: Defence Style** You gain a bonus to all of your Saving throws equal to half of your Class Bonus. #### Blind Master ___ - **Prerequisite: Blind Fighting Style** The range of your Blindsight granted by your fighting style is doubled. Additionally, you can use an action to grant yourself Truesight out to this range for 1 hour. Once you have done so, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest. #### Cascading Flurry ___ - **Prerequisite: Two-Weapon Fighting Style** When you make an additional attack due to using two light weapons, you instead make two additional attacks. #### Combat Analysis ___ - **Prerequisite: Investigation or Insight Proficiency.** When you roll Initiative, also roll either an Investigation or Insight Check. If your Initiative roll is lower than your ability check, it instead matches your ability check. Additionally, every creature of your choice within 60 feet of you when they start their turn, whos initiative is lower than your ability check, has disadvantage on the first d20 roll they make, or the first d20 roll they impose on another creature (whichever occurs first). #### Exceptional Feat You gain feat of your choice which is not an Epic Boon. Your choice of feat does not increase any of your ability scores. #### Flurry of Hurls ___ - **Prerequisite: Strength 17** - **Saving Throw DC:** Strength As an action when you have at least one hand free, you gan grab and throw a number of creatures equal to your Strength Modifier who are within your reach. Each affected creature must succeed on a Strength Saving Throw or you throw the creature to a location of your choice within 60 feet of you, provided there is a path to that location that follows a line has no more than one curve to it, which does not exceed a 120 degree turn. Once you have used this ability, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest. #### Great Weapon Master ___ - **Prerequisite: Great Weapon Fighting Style** You gain the Great Weapon Master feat. You do not gain the ability Score Improvement typically granted by the feat you choose. Additionally, before you make an attack with a Heavy weapon, you can choose to forgo adding your proficiency bonus to your attack roll. If you still hit and use the Heavy Weapon Master feature of this feat, the additional damage granted by that feature is doubled. #### Major Harm ___ - **Saving Throw DC:** Strength or Dexterity You use your action to make a single attack against a creature. On a hit, you deal your weapons normal effects, and you knick a major artery, strike a vital organ, or in some other way cause major, lasting damage to your target. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 14d6 necrotic damage, or half as much damage on a successful save. The damage can't reduce the target's hit points below 1, unless it would kill them outright. If the target fails the saving throw, its hit point maximum is reduced for 8 hours by an amount equal to the necrotic damage it took. A spell, such as greater restoration, can prematurely end the reduction to the targets hit point maximum. Once you have used this ability, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest. #### Path Finder ___ - **Prerequisite: 10th level, Survival Proficiency, Wisdom 15** By spending 1 minute investigating your environment and recalling the paths that have lead you to where you are, you discover the shortest, most direct physical route to a specific fixed location that you are familiar with on the same plane of existence. If you name a destination on another plane of existence, a destination that moves (such as a mobile fortress), or a destination that isn't specific (such as "a green dragon's lair"), then you fail to discover a path, and your use of this feature is wasted. For the next 8 hours, as long as you are on the same plane of existence as the destination, you know how far it is and in what direction it lies. While you are traveling there, whenever you are presented with a choice of paths along the way, you automatically determine which path is the shortest and most direct route (but not necessarily the safest route) to the destination. Once you have used this ability, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest. #### Potion of Rejuvination ___ - **Prerequisite: Proficient with Alchemist Supplies or Herbalism Kits.** When you finish a long rest, you cobble together what you can to create a fantastic potion of Rejuvination. This potion retains potency for 12 hours. When a creature consumes this potion, a surge of positive energy washes through the creature, causing it to regain 70 hit points. This potion also ends blindness, deafness, and any poison affecting the target. This potion has no effect on constructs or undead. \page #### Plague Poison ___ - **Prerequisite: Poisoner Feat** - **Saving Throw DC:** Intelligence or Wisdom Through scavenging the greatest filth you can find when you wake, when you finish a long rest you can create a special poison, called Plague Poison. This poison remains potent for 24 hours or until it is used (whichever happens first). This poison affects a creature via injury. When you apply it to a weapon and hit a creature with that weapon, the target is Poisoned. At the end of each of the poisoned target's turns, the target must make a Constitution saving throw. If the target succeeds on three of these saves, it is no longer poisoned, and poison is expended. If the target fails three of these saves, the target is no longer poisoned, but instead affected by one of the diseases below (you choose which of these effects your poison produces when you create it). ___ - **Blinding Sickness.** Pain grips the creature's mind, and its eyes turn milky white. The creature has disadvantage on Wisdom checks and Wisdom saving throws and is blinded. - **Filth Fever.** A raging fever sweeps through the creature's body. The creature has disadvantage on Strength checks, Strength saving throws, and attack rolls that use Strength. - **Flesh Rot.** The creature's flesh decays. The creature has disadvantage on Charisma checks and vulnerability to all damage. - **Mindfire.** The creature's mind becomes feverish. The creature has disadvantage on Intelligence checks and Intelligence saving throws, and the creature behaves as if under the effects of the confusion spell during combat. - **Seizure.** The creature is overcome with shaking. The creature has disadvantage on Dexterity checks, Dexterity saving throws, and attack rolls that use Dexterity. - **Slimy Doom.** The creature begins to bleed uncontrollably. The creature has disadvantage on Constitution checks and Constitution saving throws. In addition, whenever the creature takes damage, it is stunned until the end of its next turn. #### Protective Interception **Prerequisite: Interception or Protection Fighting Style** If you lack either the Interception or Protection Fighting Style, you gain the fighting style which you lack. When you use your reaction to use either fighting style, you gain an additional reaction which can only be used to use the other fighting style. Using both reactions, you can use both fighting styles against the same triggering attack.

#### Quaking Impact **Prerequisite: Strength 17** In place of one of your attacks made as part of the attack action, you strike the ground beneath your feet with such force that it ripples through the ground and air around you. Each creature within 20 feet of you (other than yourself) must make a Dexterity Saving Throw. An affected creature takes 8d8 Thunder damage and be knocked Prone on a failed save, or half as much damage and not being Prone on a success. Additionally, the ground in that area becomes difficult terrain until cleared. Each 5-foot-square portion of the area requires at least 1 minute to clear by hand. Once you have used this ability, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest. #### Thrown Weapon Master **Prerequisite: Thrown Weapon Fighting Style** With Mastery of thrown weapons, you gain the following benefits: ___ - **Range.** The normal and long range of all your Thrown weapon attacks are doubled - **Damage.** The additional damage granted by the Thrown Weapon fighting style is doubled. - **Return.** If you miss an attack with a thrown weapon, it returns safely to your hand or next to your feet (your choice). \page

Each time you attack with the weapon, you expend one piece of ammunition. Drawing the ammunition from a quiver, case, or other container is part of the attack (you need a free hand to load a one-handed weapon). At the end of the battle, you can recover half your expended ammunition by taking a minute to search the battlefield. - **Finesse.** When making an attack with a finesse weapon, you use your choice of your Strength or Dexterity modifier for the attack and damage rolls. You must use the same modifier for both rolls. - **Heavy.** Small creatures have disadvantage on attack rolls with heavy weapons. A heavy weapon's size and bulk make it too large for a Small creature to use effectively. - **Light.** When you take the Attack action on your turn and attack with a Light weapon, you can make one extra attack as part of the attack action. That extra attack must be made with a different Light weapon, and you don’t add your ability modifier to the extra attack’s damage, unless that modifier is negative. - **Loading.** Because of the time required to load this weapon, you can fire only one piece of ammunition from it when you use an action, bonus action, or reaction to fire it, regardless of the number of attacks you can normally make. - **Range.** A weapon that can be used to make a ranged attack has a range in parentheses after the ammunition or thrown property. The range lists two numbers. The first is the weapon's normal range in feet, and the second indicates the weapon's long range. When attacking a target beyond normal range, you have disadvantage on the attack roll. You can't attack a target beyond the weapon's long range. - **Reach.** This weapon adds 5 feet to your reach when you attack with it, as well as when determining your reach for opportunity attacks with it. - **Special.** A weapon with the special property has unusual rules governing its use, explained in the weapon's description (see “Special Weapons” later in this section). - **Thrown.** You can throw this weapon to make a ranged attack, and you can draw this weapon as part of the attack. If the weapon is a melee weapon, you use the same ability modifier for that attack roll and damage roll that you would use for a melee attack with the weapon. - **Two-Handed.** This weapon requires two hands when you attack with it. - **Versatile.** This weapon can be used with one or two hands. A damage value in parentheses appears with the property–the damage when the weapon is used with two hands to make a melee attack.

While it is not a weapon in its own right, making an unarmed strike counts as having attacked with a simple melee weapon for the purpose of proficiency and an unarmed strikes interaction with various features and spells. - ² **Gauntlet, Special:** You can not be disarmed of you gauntlet unless you are incapacitated, restrained, stunned or suprised. If you are surprised, you must succeed a sleight of hand (dexterity) contest against the person disarming you to keep you gantlet on. - ³ **Blowgun, Special:** When you hit a creature with a blowgun while hidden, you can use your bonus action to contest your stealth check against their passive perception. If you succeed, you remain hidden from that creature. #### Mastery Properties Each weapon now has a Mastery property, as shown in the weapon tables above. That property is usable only by a character who has a feature, such as Weapon Mastery, that unlocks the property for the character. If a game feature lets you replace a weapon’s Mastery property with another one, that weapon must meet any prerequisite specified for the new property. ##### Aim ___ - _**Prerequisite.** Piercing damage; lacks the heavy property; has light, finesse, ranged or thrown property_ - when making an attack with this weapon, you can add 1/3 of your proficiency bonus to the attack roll (rounded up). ##### Cleave ___ - _**Prerequisite.** Melee Weapon and Heavy Property_ - If you hit a creature with a melee attack using this weapon, you deal damage to a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. The second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage, unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack on a number of attacks per turn equal to half of the total number of attacks you make that turn with this weapon (rounded up). ##### Graze ___ - _**Prerequisite.** Melee Weapon and Heavy Property_ - If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature by 5 or less, you deal half damage against your target. Any damage from a feature that specifies that it applies when you hit a target does not count towards the damage dealt with this ability. ##### Hook ___ - _**Prerequisite.** Melee Weapon; Light or Reach Property_ - If you hit a creature with a melee attack using this weapon, you can immediately force the target to make a Strength or Dexterity Saving throw (targets choice). The DC is 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + the modifier of the ability you used to make the attack. On a failed save, you grapple the target. Once you attempt to grapple a creature this way, you cannot do so again on the same turn. ##### Push ___ - _**Prerequisite.** Heavy, Two-Handed, or Versatile Property_ - If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet away from you if it is no more than one size larger than you. If the target is exactly two sizes larger than you, you instead push it 5 feet. ##### Sap ___ - _**Prerequisite.** Versatile Property or No Other Properties_ - If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn. ##### Slow ___ - _**Prerequisite.** None_ - If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you can reduce the number of feet it can move by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. Once you reduce a creatures speed this way, you cannot do so again on the same turn against the same creature. ##### Topple ___ - _**Prerequisite.** Heavy, Reach, or Versatile Property_ - If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Strength or Dexterity saving throw (Targets choice) with a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition. A creature only makes this save once per turn. ##### Vex ___ - _**Prerequisite.** Ammunition, Finesse, or Light Property_ - If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn. \page ## Class Guide It's understandable that sometimes choice paralysis kicks in or you just need to cook up a character nice and quickly. In those cases, here's a preselection of reasonable, easy to follow choices you can make as you unlock different masteries. ### Simple and Easy No complication here, cross-class, bare bones. #### Basic Techniques ___ - **Armour Mastery.** Choose the type of armour you wear, take the armour mastery for it. - **Armour Mastery: Shielded, or Exceptional Skill.** If you use shields, take Armour Mastery again for shields. Otherwise, grab Exceptional Skill. - **Weapon Mastery.** Take weapon Mastery. When you achieve the appropriate levels for Flexible Weapon Mastery and True Weapon Master, replace this with the one with the highest level prerequisite. - **Second Weapon Mastery.** We've had first weapon mastery, yes, but what about Second weapon Mastery? (Either Dual Wielding, or pick one melee and one ranged/thrown option). #### Advanced Techniques ___ - **Brutal Weapon.** What damage type does your main weapon use? Pick the feat that aligns with that. - **Mixed Martial Arts.** If you don't have defence, that's the simplist pick. If you do, the one that obviously maps best onto your weapon choice. - **Opportunist.** Its just really good and easy to use. #### Master Techniques ___ - **All Bases Covered.** Remember how you have the Defence fighting style now? This is like that but for saving throws. - **Exceptional Feat.** Tough will make your hit points bigger by 24-28. That's not bad.

### Barbarian This is where the fun begins. #### Basic Techniques ___ - **Weapon Master.** Pick your favourite weapon. Be really good at it. Swap this for the upgrades when you can. - **Leap of Faith.** FASTBALL SPECIAL. FASTBALL SPECIAL. - **Perpetual Motion.** Barbarians are Melee. You don't want to be slowed down. - **Athletic Movement.** Seriously. Melee. Don't get kitted. #### Advanced Techniques ___ - **Coersive Terror.** If you're playing a barbarian without intimidation, you've hurt my feelings. This is making someone shit their pants so hard they Zone of Truth themself. C'mon. - **Mighty Sprint.** BARBARIAN. MOVEMENT. GOOD. Also, Strength save instead of dex save is killer for a barbarian. - **Free Pick.** Nothing particularly jumps out, it depends on your build, but #### Master Techniques ___ - **Quaking Impact.** You know when a hulk-like character stomps so hard theres a local earthquake? That's you now. - **Flurry of Hurls.** Remember how you could use the Jump spell to throw your friends? How about an AoE where you throw your enemies? ### Fighter (Strength) Fighters are so versatile I cannot just do one. Gotta do the strength fighter seperate from the dex one. #### Basic Techniques ___ - **Weapon Master.** Pick your favourite weapon. Be really good at it. Swap this for the upgrades when you can. - **Armour Mastery.** Shields giving +2 to dex saves is really solid. But if you're in a party of dex based players, maybe take Carefully Armoured so you don't ruin their Surprise round, okay? - **Athletic Movement.** You're strength based, gotta get up in that front line! - **Know your Enemy, or Brawny.** Know your enemy has been cannibalised from everyones favourite subclass. If there's too much going on, become the grappler you always wanted with Brawny. #### Advanced Techniques ___ - **Armoured Deflection.** Heavy Armour Master, but less expensive. - **Mighty Sprint.** See the same entry for the barbarian. - **Soothing Restitution.** A little support from a heroic leader. You're going to want short rests for Second wind and manoeuvers, so sweeten the deal for your party. #### Master Techniques ___ - **Fighting Style pick.** Because you make the most attacks, you benefit the most from boosting your Fighting Style. - **Quaking Impact.** C'mon though. Earthquake stomp cool. \page ### Fighter (Dexterity) Fighters are so versatile I cannot just do one. Gotta do the strength fighter seperate from the dex one. #### Basic Techniques ___ - **Weapon Master.** Pick your favourite weapon. Be really good at it. Swap this for the upgrades when you can. - **Embolden.** As a dex-based fighter, you have the option to keep some space and act more like a commander. This helps anyone trapped on the front-line. - **Bountiful Resolve.** Same picture. You're a martial leader now. - **Quick Footed.** If you want to support from range or skirmish, you need to be able to escape melee. Here's how. #### Advanced Techniques ___ - **Dirty Tricks.** As fighters get the most attacks, you'll be best suited to follow up after blinding someone. - **Mighty Sprint.** See the same entry for the barbarian. - **Mixed Martial Arts or Opportunist.** Not just default picks! Opportunist is for a skirmisher, while mixed martial arts allows ranged fighters to take bother Archery and Close Quarters Shooter. #### Master Techniques ___ - **Fighting Style pick.** Because you make the most attacks, you benefit the most from boosting your Fighting Style. - **Major Harm.** You're more likely to hit with archery, and this is devastating. ### Monk Monk-ki business. #### Basic Techniques ___ - **Weapon Master.** Pick your favourite weapon. Be really good at it. Swap this for the upgrades when you can. - **Perpetual Motion.** Youre the speed demon. Don't let them take that from you. - **Bountiful Resolve.** Unblock your Allies' root chakras. - **Exceptional Skill.** Covering your weaknesses. #### Advanced Techniques ___ - **Dirty Tricks.** As fighters get the most attacks, you'll be best suited to follow up after blinding someone. - **Soothing Restitution.** You need short rests. You also make the most of the Wisdom tie-in here. - **Mixed Martial Arts.** Defence is always good on a monk because unarmoured defence kinda blows. But there are others if you want. #### Master Techniques ___ - **Fighting Style pick.** Because you make the most attacks, you benefit the most from boosting your Fighting Style. Cascading flurry or blind master would rule. - **Exceptional Feat.** ASI is a feat. Boost your wisdom you MAD bastard.

### Rogue Almost done. #### Basic Techniques ___ - **Weapon Master.** Pick your favourite weapon. Be really good at it. Swap this for the upgrades when you can. - **Trap Finder.** "prerequisite: thieve's tools", is just as well as telling you to take it. - **Quick Footed, or Climber.** Whatever tickles you most for skirmishing. - **Something Skills based, or Linguist.** There are so many good skill-locked options and idk what you picked. If you picked all the power-skills and don't qualify for *anything*, then I guess Linguist will let you build on-top of thieve's cant. #### Advanced Techniques ___ - **Mixed Martial Arts.** Can't go wrong. - **Poisoner.** You're a rogue. - **Opportunist.** This is so much for-rogues that it was at one point in my homebrew just a rogue ability. You're a rogue! #### Master Techniques ___ - **Plague Poison.** Ruin someones day. - **Major Harm.** It's actually a straight upgrade from sneak attack.
