## DNK_Infinity's Artificer Infusions v1.0 A collection of infusions for weapons and shields to give artificers and their allies more versatile ways to strike at their foes and protect themselves! ### Blasting Shot *Prerequisite: A simple or martial ranged weapon (requires attunement)* : This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. : The weapon has 4 charges. When making a ranged attack roll with it against a target within the weapon’s normal range, the wielder can spend 1 charge to infuse the projectile with volatile magical energy. Whether the attack hits or misses, the projectile explodes when it reaches the target. The target and each creature within 5 feet of it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 2d4 force damage. The weapon regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. ### Fragmenting Shot *Prerequisite: 6th-level artificer, a simple or martial ranged weapon (requires attunement)* : This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. : The weapon has 4 charges. The wielder can use their action and spend 1 charge to fire a projectile charged with magic which duplicates itself in flight to rain down over a large area. The wielder chooses a point they can see within 60 feet. Creatures within 15 feet of that point must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC, taking 3d6 piercing damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. The weapon regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. ### Guardian’s Bracer *Prerequisite: 14th-level artificer, a shield (requires attunement)* : This magic shield has been reshaped into a reinforced bracer that projects a small magical barrier at the wielder’s mental command. The shield grants an additional +1 bonus to AC and does not occupy the wielder’s hand. \column ### Longstrike Weapon *Prerequisite: A simple or martial melee weapon* : This magic weapon has 4 charges. When the wielder makes an attack roll with it, they can expend 1 charge to increase the weapon’s reach by 5 feet for this attack, as a lash of magical force extends from the weapon. The weapon regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. ### Managrasp Shield *Prerequisite: 6th-level artificer, a shield (requires attunement)* : This magic shield can siphon energy away from spells cast in its vicinity and convert it to a magical ward for the wielder. The shield has 4 charges. Whenever a creature the wielder can see within 10 feet casts a spell, the wielder can use their reaction and expend 1 charge to gain 1d6 temporary HP per level of the spell cast. The shield regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. ### Mindbreach Weapon *Prerequisite: 6th-level artificer, a simple or martial weapon (requires attunement)* : This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. : The weapon has 4 charges. When the wielder hits a creature that is concentrating on a spell with this weapon, they can expend any number of charges to drive a spike of psychic pain into the creature’s mind. The creature takes an additional 1d6 psychic damage per charge expended and has disadvantage on the saving throw it makes to maintain its concentration. The weapon regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. ### Palisade Shield *Prerequisite: A shield* : The wielder of this magic shield can use a bonus action to invoke the shield’s protective magic for 1 minute, conjuring a large rectangular barrier of magical force that expands the shield’s coverage. For the duration, the shield grants the wielder half cover against ranged attacks. The wielder can end the effect early (no action required). When the duration expires, this property cannot be used again until the next dawn. ### Propelled Shot *Prerequisite: A simple or martial ranged weapon* : This magic weapon’s normal range is doubled, as it magically accelerates its ammunition at the moment of firing. Attack rolls against targets beyond normal range and within maximum range are made at disadvantage as normal. \page ### Seeking Shot *Prerequisite: A simple or martial ranged weapon* : The wielder of this magic weapon can use a bonus action to mystically mark a hostile creature they can see within 60 feet. Attacks with this weapon against the marked creature ignore half cover and three-quarters cover, as the weapon’s ammunition bends its own flight path to seek out the target. ### Spell-Turning Shield *Prerequisite: 14th-level artificer, a shield (requires attunement)* : This magic shield is so heavily laden with abjuring protection that it can deflect spells. The shield has 4 charges. When the wielder is targeted by a ranged spell attack which misses, they can use their reaction and expend 1 charge to repel the spell. They choose a creature they can see within 20 feet to be the new target of the spell, which is still treated as having been cast by the original caster. The shield regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. ### Sweeping Weapon *Prerequisite: 6th-level artificer, a simple or martial weapon* : This magic weapon has 4 charges. As an action, the wielder can make a magically-emboldened sweeping attack. Each creature within 5 feet of the wielder must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take the weapon’s normal damage. The wielder can expend any number of charges as part of this action, but must declare that they are doing so before affected creatures make their saving throws. For each charge expended, one creature of the wielder’s choice which fails its saving throw takes additional damage of the weapon’s type equal to your Intelligence modifier. The weapon regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn.
