## Shapeshifter ___ Terrified and alone,a Halfling slowly rises to her feet before her unconscious companions. Looking down to her allies. The battle was lost moments before it began, the bandits had ambushed them and gotten a hold of everything, leaving her friends to die behind her. As she rises to her feet, the attention of the bandits shifts back to her, and they begin to walk forward with wild grins. The Halfling’s form starts to shift, increasing in size as she becomes more and more reptilian in size and shape. The bandits look on, now the ones in terror, as the Halfling assumes the form of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, letting out a loud roar of fury. After spotting a caravan driving past him in the woods, a Goliath begins to follow in an attempt to get a better sense of the guards on the wagons. He rushes to the edge of the woods before assuming the form of a falcon, shrinking down on himself as he soars overhead, peering down at the caravan below. Satisfied that the caravan could not put up much of a fight, he lands in front of the horses, his form changing again into a Giant Ape. Beating his chest, the Goliath begins his attack. A Human child watches as a large wolf walks up to her, its eyes full of curiosity and interest as it nears closer, sniffing her face. The girl giggles and begins to gently stroke the wolf’s head, completely unafraid. Moments later, the child assumes the form of a wolf, much to the surprise of the initial wolf in the clearing. The wolf quickly runs away in surprise and fear of the sudden change. Barking in delight, the child rushes off after the wolf, merely wanting to play. Whether good or evil, Shapeshifters utilize the powers of creatures in the world around them in order to take control of whatever situation they find themselves in. Remarkably dangerous, Shapeshifters are feared by people far and wide due to the power they hold. Always in pursuit of new forms, Shapeshifters explore the globe in order to find new strength in the forms of creatures of all shapes and sizes. ___ ___ ___

### Apex Predators In any scenario, a Shapeshifter will quickly find themselves at the top of the food chain, being able to assume a form to fit their every whim and need. No matter what prey or goal they pursue, a Shapeshifter will always have a form at the ready to hunt down what they search for. Not only are they able to assert dominance over circles of wildlife, but Shapeshifters are capable of infiltrating kingdoms in their own right, being able to assume the forms of guards, dukes or even kings. A single shapeshifter could make their way through a kingdom in one night, assassinate the royalty, and take over without anyone in the castle realizing their monarch has died. If a Shapeshifter was found out impersonating someone in power, a Shapeshifter would merely have to assume a different form, perhaps one with more teeth and claws, before reminding all of those who stand against them why Shapeshifters are so feared. ### Guardians Of The Lost For a Shapeshifter, life is mostly solitary due to the fear and mystery surrounding the nature of their powers. When a Shapeshifter discovers someone who is lost and is searching for themselves, it is very common for the Shapeshifter to take them under their wing, aiding them in their quest to discover who they are. \page

Shapeshifters know that the world is a cruel place, and have learned to navigate it well. Extending their knowledge and gifts to those who may not quite understand these things yet is one of the greatest honors a Shapeshifter can bestow. To find yourself aided by a Shapeshifter means that they see something in you that you have not yet seen in yourself. ### Creating A Shapeshifter _____ _____ When creating a Shapeshifter character, think about how your character's abilities have affected their life. Talk with your DM about an appropriate origin for your Shapeshifter. Were you born with these powers, and have slowly begun to control them with time? Or were you gifted with these powers by a powerful entity? Perhaps Shapeshifters are hunted for their powers, out of fear of the danger one could bring to a kingdom. Perhaps the world has been ruled by Shapeshifters, using their powers to place themselves at the top of the food chain. ___ ___ What led you to begin adventuring? Were you running away for fear of your life in hope of a better one? Do you explore the world in search of more powerful forms to study and take their shape? Why do you prefer the forms of various creatures over your own - does your character feel inadequate in their natural form? Do they wish to become stronger? Perhaps you have always dreamed of being able to fly and pursue the knowledge to make your dream a reality. ____ ____ #### Quick Build ___ You can make a Shapeshifter quickly by following these suggestions. First, put your highest ability score in Constitution, followed by Intelligence or Wisdom. ## Class Features As a Shapeshifter, you gain the following class features. #### Hit Points ___ - **Hit Dice:** 1d6 per Shapeshifter level - **Hit Points at 1st Level:** 6 + your Constitution modifier - **Hit Points at Higher Levels:** 1d6 (or 4) + your Constitution modifier per Shapeshifter level after 1st #### Proficiencies ___ - **Armor:** None - **Weapons:** Bola, Net, Simple Weapons - **Tools:** Disguise Kit, Forgery Kit ___ - **Saving Throws:** Constitution, Intelligence - **Skills:** Choose two from Animal Handling, Arcana, Deception, Insight, Nature, Perception, Performance, Persuasion, Survival #### Equipment You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background: - *(a)* Dagger or *(b)* Handaxe - *(a)* Disguise Kit or *(b)* Forgery Kit - *(a)* Entertainer's Pack or *(b)* Explorer's Pack - A Bola - A Net ### Shapeshift You gain the ability to Shapeshift, an ancient and powerful ability that allows you to assume the forms of other creatures and use their strength for your own. - As a bonus action on your turn, you may assume the form of a Beast which you have seen, either in person or in a heavily detailed artwork. - The Beast must be of a CR that you can Shapeshift into, as shown in the Shapeshift CR Column of the Shapeshifter table. - You remain Shapeshifted for an amount of hours equivalent to your Shapeshifter level, or until you dismiss it as a bonus action. - You gain all expended uses of Shapeshift back on a Short or Long Rest. - You assume the form of a standard version of the creature. You do not gain any languages, spells, Legendary Actions or Resistances, Lair Actions, or equipment that the creature has. Your game statistics are replaced by that of the creature’s except for your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. - You retain your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature. You use your own Proficiency Bonus instead of the creature’s. - When you Shapeshift, you gain temporary hit points based upon the size of the creature. - A size large creature grants you Temporary hit points equal to your Shapeshifter level + your Constitution modifier. - A size Huge creature grants you Temporary hit points equal to twice those gained from a Large creature. - A size Gargantuan creature grants you Temporary hit points equal to four times those gained from a Large creature. - When you transform, your clothing and non magical equipment merge into your new form, or is worn by it if the DM determines it is practical. - Any magical items that you are attuned to remain attuned, and you may use them so long as your new form is capable of wielding them. The DM determines if these items are merged into your form, or if you are still wearing them. - You may not Shapeshift into creatures with a flying speed until 3rd level. - You are not able to benefit from any ‘Multiattack’ feature a creature would have - You may only make one attack on your turn when you take the attack action. - The DC for all of your form’s abilities, replacing any DC’s on the creature’s stat block, is (8+ your Proficiency Bonus + your natural form’s Constitution modifier). - Shapeshifting is taxing on your body. Any day where you use more than one charge of Shapeshift or transform into a creature more than one size larger than you, you require an additional set of rations per day. ### Doppelganger When you gain the ability to *Shapeshift,* you figure out how to transform yourself into other Humanoids. Instead of shifting into a Beast, as an action on your turn you may expend a charge of *Shapeshift* to transform yourself into a new Humanoid form. - You determine the specifics of the changes to your natural form, including your skin coloration, hair length, sex, voice, height, and weight. - You can *Shapeshift* into Small or Medium humanoids of any race, but your ability scores remain the same. ____ You stay in this form until you dismiss it, or until you die, at which point you revert to your natural form.

### Shapeshifter Ancestry At 2nd level, you discover your Shapeshifting ancestry enables you to assume more powerful forms. Each Shapeshifter ancestry is detailed at the end of the class description. Your choice grants you features at 2nd level, and again at 6th, 10th, 14th, and 18th level. ### Immutable Form At 3rd level, you have begun to learn more about certain aspects of your various forms. You gain advantage on saving throws against Poison and Disease in all forms. In addition, you are considered a *Shapechanger* for the purpose of spells such as *Polymorph* and *Moonbeam*. ### Ability Score Improvement When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature. ### Multiattack Beginning at 5th level, if your Shapeshifted form has the ‘Multiattack’ feature, you may use up to two of the attacks within the Multiattack feature on your turn. If the description places a limit on attacks, such as “the creature makes two Claw attacks and one Bite attack,” you may make either two Claw attacks, or one Bite attack and one Claw attack. ### Primal Strength At 5th level, your attacks while in a Shapeshifted form count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunity to non magical damage. ``` ``` ### Quickened Shift At 7th level, when you roll for initiative, you may use your *Shapeshift* feature as a reaction before you take your first turn. ### Mutated Physique At 9th level, you gain the ability to alter your form in order to better defend against danger. - As a reaction when you are hit by an attack, you may add your natural form's Constitution modifier to your AC for that attack, potentially causing it to miss. - Additionally, when you are forced to make a saving throw, you may add your natural form's Constitution modifier to your roll, potentially causing you to pass the saving throw. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per day. ### Familiar Forms At 11th level you’ve reached a level of mastery within your shape-shifting abilities. When you assume the form of a creature that has a Challenge Rating equal to or lower than your Proficiency Bonus, you do not expend a charge of *Shapeshift.* ### Unalterable Your mastery over Shapeshifting has enabled you to find threats to your body and isolate them, allowing you to alter your physical form in an attempt to get rid of them. At 13th level, as an action on your turn, you may expend a charge of *Shapeshift* to end one condition on yourself instead of assuming a new form. ### Primal Savagery By 15th level, your primal fury has grown within th einstincts of your shapeshifted form. While you are in the form of a creature via your *Shapeshift* ability, you can utilize the full extent of your form's 'Multiattack' feature. ### Timeless Body At 17th level, your prowess with Shapeshifting has lengthened your lifespan. For every 10 years that pass, you age one year. ### Apex Shifter At 20th level when you roll for initiative and have no charges of Shapeshift left, you gain one charge. In addition, you gain Telepathy out to 60 feet. If you already have Telepathy, your range increases by 60 feet. You only have to leave your shapeshifted form when you dismiss it, or when you die. \page

## Shapeshifter Ancestry The ability to *Shapeshift* is found in each Shapeshifter, yet the way that they use their powers can be as different and unique as a person's fingertips. Ancient blood from creatures long ago runs through the lineage of each and every Shapeshifter, blessing their bloodline with the gift of shifting. Your Shapeshifter Ancestry allows you to assume more powerful forms - forms of far deadlier creatures than those who run through the wilds. ### Alien Ancestry ___ Born from the abnormal creatures from beyond the veil, Shapeshifters with Alien Ancestry are known to transform into the strange and terrifying creatures of the unnatural. As you learn more about your Alien Ancestry, you begin to learn about the terrifying and peculiar powers that the forms of Aberrations have to offer. Often thought to be the product of experimentation, Alien Ancestry Shapeshifters find themselves transforming into creatures from worlds or planes beyond. It is thought that the first Shapeshifter to take the form of an Aberration was abducted by Illithids and experimented upon - only to take their forms to free themselves. Whatever the situation might be, the forms of Aberrations are strange and powerful, making the Shapeshifter unlike any other. #### Alien Blood ___ ___ Starting at 2nd level when you choose this Ancestry, you may use your *Shapeshift* feature to transform into Aberrations, as well as Beasts. - You learn to speak Deep Speech. #### Innate Spellcasting ___ ___ Starting at 6th level, when you are in the form of an Aberration, you may access the innate spellcasting capabilities that these strange creatures have. You may utilize the innate spells of your Shapeshifted form up to an equivalent level you would be able to cast. - You may cast spells of up to 3rd-level. - At 7th level, you may cast your form's innate spells of up to 4th-level. - At 9th level, you may cast your form's innate spells of up to 5th-level. - At 11th level, you may cast your form's innate spells of up to 6th-level. - At 13th level, you may cast your form's innate spells of up to 7th-level. - At 15th level, you may cast your form's innate spells of up to 8th-level. - At 17th level, you may cast your form's innate spells of up to 9th-level. You may only cast these innate spells the amount of times that your Shapeshifted form has per day. You may not cast these innate spells with any spell slots gained from other classes. ``` ``` #### Abnormal Mind ___ ___ At 10th level, the psychic powers of your mind have caused you to gain certain psychic protections. No creature can read your thoughts unless you are willing. In addition, no magic can determine whether you are lying. Creatures can telepathically communicate with you only if you allow it. #### Aberrant Soul ___ ___ At 14th level, after witnessing the horribly weird and frightening aspects of the unnatural world, you are immune to the *Charmed* and *Frightened* conditions. #### Bringer of Fear ___ ___ At 18th level, when you are in the form of an Aberration, you may cast the spell *Weird* once per day, requiring no components.

### Divine Ancestry ___ Shapeshifters with Divine Ancestry obtained their powers by means of the Divine. Long ago, Celestials shared their magic with Humanoids in a hope to spread faith in their gods. As they discover their Divine Ancestry, they can follow a path similar to the Angels and Heralds of the various gods from long ago - spreading their message and power to the far reaches of the realm, aiding allies in battle and bringing the fury of the gods upon the unholy. Most with Divine Ancestry find themselves wielders of powers they do not quite yet understand, being given powers that allow them to alter aspects of life and death. It is written in the stars that those with Divine Blood in them will become great and powerful, well-regarded by those who follow the gods. Yet not all Divine Shapeshifters wish to follow the holy path left for them - some choose to wield their Divine Graces for evil. It is up to the Shapeshifter to decide which path they walk upon. #### Divine Blood ___ ___ Starting at 2nd level when you choose this Ancestry, you may use your *Shapeshift* feature to transform into Celestials, as well as Beasts. - As a result of the blood of powerful Celestial warriors running through your veins, you gain proficiency with Martial Weapons and Medium Armor when choosing this Ancestry. - You learn to speak, read, and write Celestial. #### Holy Aid ___ ___ Starting at 6th level, when you are in the form of a Celestial, you can provide aid to a hurting ally. As a bonus action, you may choose one creature within 30 feet of you. That creature gains 2d8 hit points. This amount increases to 3d8 at 11th level, and 4d8 at 17th level. You may use this feature an amount of times equal to your natural form’s Constitution modifier per Long Rest. ___

#### Divine Power ___ ___ At 10th level when you are in the form of a Celestial, you may access the innate spellcasting capabilities these creatures have. You may utilize the Innate Spellcasting feature of your shapeshifted form to cast spells of 5th-Level and lower, requiring all necessary components. You may only cast these innate spells the amount of times that your Shapeshifted form is able to per day. You may not cast these innate spells with any spell slots you might have gained from other classes. #### Protective Grace ___ ___ At 14th level when you are in the form of a Celestial, creatures of your choice within 15 feet of you gain a bonus to all saving throws equal to your natural form's Constitution modifier. #### Strength of the Gods ___ ___ At 18th level, when you are in the form of a Celestial and make a melee attack, you may deal additional Radiant damage equivalent to the amount of levels in the Shapeshifter class that you have.

### Draconic Ancestry ___ Some Shapeshifters feel powerless in their natural forms, a calling to the skies that they do not yet understand. For whatever reason, these Shapeshifters have discovered secrets within their lineage - They share blood with Dragons. Shapeshifters with Draconic Ancestry find themselves craving more in life, wishing to soar through the clouds or amass great treasure hoards. Some with Draconic Blood in their veins choose a side in the great war between Bahamut and Tiamat, pledging themselves to one lineage of Dragons. Others do not follow these whims, and instead shift into whatever Draconic form pleases them at the time. Dragons are creatures of great power, and it takes extraordinary Shapeshifters to use their power for their own. Those with Draconic Blood find themselves on the precipice of power. How they take advantage of their newfound forms is up to the Shapeshifter. #### Draconic Blood ___ ___ Starting at 2nd level when you choose this Ancestry, you may use your *Shapeshift* feature to transform into Dragons, as well as Beasts. - You learn to speak, read, and write Draconic. #### Fearful Critical ___ ___ Starting at 6th level, when in the form of a Dragon, any time you score a Critical Hit on a creature, that creature is Frightened by you. - At the end of the target's turn, they can make a Wisdom saving throw to contest this until they succeed. On a success, they are no longer Frightened of you, and are immune to being Frightened by this feature for 24 hours. ``` ``` #### Empowered Breath Weapon ___ ___ Starting at 10th level, when you are in the form of a Dragon that has a Breath Weapon, you can choose to recharge your Breath Weapon at the beginning of your turn before you roll a d6. You may use this ability once per Short or Long Rest. #### Wing Attack ___ ___ At 14th level while in the form of a dragon, you gain the ability to force your enemies away from your draconic form. As a bonus action while grounded, you can flare your wings outwards. Each creature within 10 feet of you must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take (2d6) bludgeoning damage and fall Prone. For the rest of your turn, you do not provoke attacks of opportunity from affected creatures. #### Destructive Breath ___ ___ When you reach 18th level, you have unlocked your true potential from your Draconic Ancestors before you. Your Breath Weapon is as devastating as they come, and creatures far and wide will know to fear your Draconic form. When you utilize your breath weapon and roll a 1 or 2 on any of the damage dice, you may reroll those dice. You must use the new roll, regardless of if it is a 1 or 2. \page

### Elemental Ancestry ___ Shapeshifters born of Elemental Ancestry bear a particular calling to the natural world. Descended from primal creatures of the major elements, Shapeshifters of Elemental Ancestry are capable of honing the powers of Air, Earth, Fire, and Water to their whims - for good or evil. Within the blood of an Elemental Ancestry Shapeshifter is the primal energy of the Elemental Planes. An Elemental Ancestry Shapeshifter might be born only of one plane, but this does not limit them. Due to the unstable nature of the primal powers, these Elemental Ancestry Shapeshifters harbor the ability to awaken the Elements within them to unleash upon all those who might threaten the threads of reality. #### Elemental Blood ___ ___ Starting at 2nd level when you choose this Ancestry, you may use your *Shapeshift* feature to transform into Elementals, as well as Beasts. - You learn to speak, read, and write Primordial. - Alternatively: You may choose to learn one of these languages instead: Auran, Auqan, Ignan, or Terran. #### Elemental Strikes ___ ___ At 6th level while in the form of an elemental, you deal an additional (1d6) Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Thunder damage when you make a melee attack. #### Fury of the Elements ___ ___ At 10th level while in the form of an elemental, you can cast the spell *Elemental Bane* without requiring material components. You may use this ability once per Short or Long Rest. #### Primordial Blows ___ ___ Due to the nature of your Elemental Ancestry, the damage of your attacks is able to overcome even the toughest creatures' resistances. At 14th level, when in the form of an Elemental, you treat any creature's Immunities to Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Thunder damage as a Resistance. #### Born from the Natural World ___ ___ The call to return to one's home lingers in any creature's blood - especially that of an Elemental Ancestry Shapeshifter. At 18th level, when in the form of an Elemental, you may cast the spell *Plane Shift,* targeting yourself and up to 8 willing creatures, to either the Elemental Plane of Air, Elemental Plane of Fire, Elemental Plane of Earth, or the Elemental Plane of Water, requiring no Material components. Once you use this ability, you may not do so again until you complete a Long Rest.

### Infernal Ancestry ___ While Shapeshifters can choose a form to fit their everyday needs, some shifters find themselves stuck in between the long running Blood War. While a Shapeshifter can assume the form of both Demons and Devils alike, it is what the Shapeshifter does with their abilities that makes them who they are. Shapeshifters with Infernal Ancestry find themselves called to the Blood war between Law and Chaos, inadvertently choosing a side. Will they serve the Archdevils and fight for Law within the Abyss, or will they serve the Demon Princes and bring Chaos to the Nine Hells? Those who find themselves in the form of a Devil may one day discover lost souls searching for something, opening the door to a deal willing to be made. Will they accept their contract for their own benefit? Perhaps pledging their soul to Asmodeus within the Nine Hells would be a better option. Those who find themselves in the form of a Demon may be overcome with a desire to bring chaos to the world, destroying order in place of something much more fun. #### Infernal Blood ___ ___ Starting at 2nd level, when you choose this Ancestry you may use your *Shapeshift* feature to transform into Fiends, as well as Beasts. - Your alignment dictates further features in this Ancestry. If you have a Neutral alignment, you may choose either Law or Chaos to follow. - If you are of a Lawful alignment, you learn to speak, read, and write Infernal. - If you are of a Chaotic alignment, you learn to speak, read, and write Abyssal. ``` ```

#### Tides Of War ___ ___ At 6th level, the side of the Blood War that you are on decides how you may alter the state of battle around you. - If you are of a Lawful alignment, when in the form of a Fiend (Devil), you may choose to gain advantage on an attack roll. This gives advantage on the next attack against you as well. - If you are of a Chaotic alignment, when in the form of a Fiend (Demon), you may choose to give your enemy disadvantage on an attack roll. This randomly gives one of your allies disadvantage on their next attack roll. - You may use this ability an amount of times equal to your natural form's Constitution modifier per Long Rest. #### Unholy Flames ___ ___ At 10th level, when in the form of a Fiend that can speak, regardless of your alignment, you may cast the spell *Immolation* once per Short or Long Rest. #### Souls To The Masters ___ At 14th level, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you may heal a number of hit points equivalent to the damage dealt that reduced the creature to 0 hit points.

##### A Note On Alignment If you are of a Neutral alignment you may choose which of these sets of abilities to take, or perhaps your DM may wish to give you new abilities akin to the Yugoloths. If your alignment changes, the abilities gained by your Infernal Ancestry change as well.

#### Hellish Legacy ___ ___ At 18th level, you gain one of these two abilities based on your alignment. - **Lord's Demands**: Once per Long Rest when you are in the form of a Fiend (Devil) and are reduced to less than half of your maximum hit points, you may immediately return yourself to your full maximum hit points. One of your allies of your choice within 30 feet of you immediately loses hit points equivalent to the amount you gained. - If the ally does not have enough hit points to fulfil your demands, you instead regain hit points until your ally has 1 hit point remaining. ___ - **Instill Chaos**: Once per Long Rest when in the form of a Fiend (Demon), you may roll a d20. On a 1-10 you summon a Demon that is up to 1/2 of your maximum Shapeshift-CR. The Demon appears in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of you, and is considered an ally to you. This Demon cannot summon other Demons. - The Demon remains for 1 minute, until it or its summoner dies, or until its summoner dismisses it as an action. ___ ___ ### Monstrous Ancestry ___ The power of a Shapeshifter can come from various different means, though most commonly it is passed down through bloodlines, skipping generation after generation until the gift finds one worthy enough to wield it. However, a single question lingers in the minds of many blessed with the gift of Shapeshifting - Where did this power start in their family chain? Some Shapeshifters can easily discover this - perhaps a long ago ancestor was a Dragon, or a Celestial blessed your great-grandfather with its divine magic. Some Shapeshifters do not have such wonderful beginnings, and some Shapeshifters have gained and passed down their powers through unnatural means. ``` ```

Shapeshifters with Monstrous Ancestry are known to be fearsome foes, not only for the terrifying forms they inhibit, but for their nature as individuals. Those born with the ability to shift into monsters quickly find themselves called to a savage existence; a blood lust drives them to fulfill a single need. Many Shapeshifters with this ancestry are a result of experimentation, an attempt to twist the humanoid form into something more, resulting in the humanoid attaining more power than ever imagined. Whatever the case may be, Monstrous Ancestry Shapeshifters lend themselves into the innate desires of their newfound forms, and cement themselves in place as true creatures of legend. #### Monstrous Blood ___ ___ At 2nd level, when you choose this Ancestry you may use your *Shapeshift* feature to transform into Monstrosities, as well as Beasts. #### Unnatural Strength ___ ___ At 6th level, when in the form of a Monstrosity, you score a critical hit on a roll of a 19 or 20. #### Blood Frenzy ___ ___ At 10th level, when you are in the form of a Monstrosity, as a reaction when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you may immediately move up to half of your remaining movement speed and attack another creature once. #### Savage Killer ___ At 14th level, when you are in the form of a Monstrosity and reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you immediately gain temporary hit points equal to 1d6 + your Constitution modifier. \page

#### Abnormal Constitution ___ ___ At 18th level, when you *Shapeshift * into a Monstrosity, as a Bonus Action on your turn you may regain hit points equivalent to twice your Shapeshifter level. You may use this ability once per Long Rest. ___ ___ ### Wild Ancestry ___ While many Shapeshifters use their powerful ancestries to assume a vast variety of forms, there are shifters among them who gain a mastery over their own bestial nature. Often thought to be feral Druids, Shapeshifters who are born to the wilds of nature further their powers to transform into different Beastial shapes, Strengthening these forms to be much stronger than one any explorer might find in the wilds. Often descended from lycanthropes, Shapeshifters of the Wild Ancestry have discovered a secret art into their beastial forms. While they might not be able to transform into winged Angels or terrifying monsters, the natural creatures of the world still run through the forests of the Forgotten Realms. These Shapeshifters rely upon the forms of the creatures of the wilds, not needing to take upon the much stranger forms other Shapeshifters might turn into. Wild Ancestry Shapeshifters tread through the forgotten wilds of the world, able to quickly adapt and survive the harshest conditions. #### Beastial Fury ___ ___ At 2nd level, when in the form of a Beast via your *Shapeshift* feature, you may add a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls from your Shapeshifted form's attacks. At 8th level, this bonus becomes +2. At 15th level, this bonus becomes +3. ``` ``` #### Mark of the Beast ___ ___ At 6th level, when you damage a creature you can decide to mark them. When you make an attack against the marked creature, the creature takes an additional (1d6) Necrotic damage and you gain Temporary Hit Points equivalent to the same amount of Necrotic damage dealt.
