# The Symbiote
Your patreon is not something that most understand, and even you have trouble understanding its goals and desires sometimes. But a thing you do know is that it does what it does to survive, and you are its means of survival.

The Symbiote is an otherworldly beeing who needs a host to inact its will. In return for giving it a body to live in, it grants you powers of a uncanny nature.

### Otherworldy Savergery
Starting at 1st level, you gain the primal savagery cantrip. This does not count towards you known cantrips.

### Symbiotic Takeover
At 1st level, you gain the ability to let your symbiote grow over your body as a bonus action. It cannot be done if you are currently wearing medium or heavy armour. When worn, you have the following effects.

* Resistance to  bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from non-magical weapons.
* Can only cast cantrip spells.
* When you make a melee attack, you add a +2 bonus to the damage roll.
* Imunity to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
* Vunerabillity to radiant damage.
* Disadvantage on Persuation checks
* Advantage on Intimidation checks
* A AC equal to 10 + Constitution modifier + Charisma modifier.

The Symbiotic Takeover effect ends if you are knocked uncontious. It can be doffed as a bonus action. For every minute you are in Symbiotic Takeover between long rests, you gain 1 level of exhaustion. The counter resets at a long rest and the exhaustion is removed as normal. The exhaustion timer exstends by 1 minute at 6th level, 10th and 14th level.

### A taste for fresh flesh
At 6th level, you start sharing the symbiotes instincts and impulses. When you are in Symbiotic Takeover form and you kill a creature within 5 feet of you, you gain 2d8 temporary hitpoints. This increases to 2d8 + CHA mod at 10th lvl. And to 

### A hulking mass
At 10th level, the symbosis has gained the ability to mass produce itself. When you enter Symbiotic Takeover form, you can increase your size by 1, as if under the Enlarge/Reduce spell (from Medium to Large for example).

### Perfect Symbiosis
You and your symbiote perfectly understand each other now, your instincts and impulses becoming one. At 14th level, when you are in Symbiotic Takeover form, you gain the following benifits:
* Gain a + 2 to your AC
* Increase movement speed by 10
* When you make a melee attack, you add an additional +5 bonus to the damage roll.
* Gain an additional attack action.
* Creatures of your choosing that is within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against you spell save DC or become frightened. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to your frightful presence for the next 24 hours.
