# Sorcerer: Soul Forge
  ## *"My blood is Steel. My heart is glass. My very body is made out of Swords."* - Nameless
</div>

Warriors choose the path of the blade. You did not. From the beggining, you were draw to the forge, for your very soul came from it. The forge is the primordial origin of warriors and weapons. Maybe your heart is connected to an ancient god of war. Maybe your bloodline comes from a cult of grand warriors. Maybe you had an outerplanar experience with the very essence of the blade. No matter how, no matter why, your destiny was traced. Traced not by pen, but by sword.

### Bladeworks
Your mystical soul is drawn to the forge. You gain proficiency with smith's tool, light armor, and shields.

### Soul Blade
At 1st level, your soul ressonates with the forge, and you lean the shape of your soul. It's shaped like a blade.

Choose one type of simple or martial melee weapon that deals either piercing or slashing damage and lacks the two-handed property. This will be your Soul Blade, which you'll use for multiple class features. When you wield a weapon of that type for more than 2 hours, you'll bond your spirit with it, gaining the following benefits:

* When attacking with the Soul Blade, you can use your Charisma modifier instead of Strenght or Dexterity on attack and damage rolls
* You can add your Proficiency modifier to attack rolls with it.
* You can use your Soul Blade as a spellcasting focus.
* Long as you're conscious, you cannot be forced to drop or release your Soul Weapon.
* If separated from your Soul Blade, you can sense it's presence and locate it winthin 1000 feet
* You gain advantage on using your smith's tool to fix or upgrade the weapon.

If you pick another weapon of the same type, you can bond to it instead. You can only bond to one weapon at a time.

### Soul Edge
Your spirit can strenghten your blade to smite enemies. Beggining at 1st level, you can, as a bonus action, turn your sword into a spectral form. Until the end of your next turn, the damage type of your Soul Blade turns to force damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier, regaining all uses after a long rest.

### Extreme Edge
You can call upon the forge to strenghen your magic. Starting at 6th level, Whenever you make a spell attack roll using your Soul Blade as a focus, you can add your Charisma modifier to the damage roll.

### Mirage Edge
You learn how to draw on your Soul's forge to create a replica of your Soul Blade. Starting at 14th level, you can, as an action, summon your Mirage Edge. It takes on the appearance of the weapon you're currently bound to. This weapon can either appear on your back or surround you, and you can control it without using your hands. it's effects last for up to 1 minute, afterwards it dissipates and you can't summon it again untill you finish a short or long rest.

As a bonus action on your turn, you can use the Mirage Edge to either :
* Make a melee attack roll against an enemy winthin 5 feet of you. Its attack and damage are the same as your Soul Edge.
* Make a ranged attack roll against an enemy winthin 60 feet of you. Its attack roll is the same as your Soul Edge, and it deals 1d4 + CHA Force damage.

Once you succesfully hit a creature with either attack, you can impale the creature with the weapon. All attack rolls made against the impaled creature will have advantage.

While the creature is impaled, you cannot use your Mirage Edge until the creature drops to 0 hit points, upon which the Mirage Edge returns to you.

If the Mirage Edge time runs out while it is impaling an enemy, it dissipates as normal and the enemy is free from its effects.

### Body of Blades
Tapping deep into your soul's forge, you can make your own body into a weapon. Once you reach 18th level in this class, you can use your action to turn your very flesh and bones into blades. This form lasts for 1 minute, during which you gain the following benefits:
* You gain temporary hit points equal to your Soul Blade's hit dice
* You gain a bonus to AC equal to your Charisma modifier
* When a creature hits you with a melee attack, it takes damage equal to your Charisma modifier. Damage type is either slashing or piercing, same as your Soul Blade.
* Allied creatures winthin 10ft of you gain the advantages of Soul Edge on their melee weapon attacks.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again untill you finish a short or long rest.
