# Roguish Archetype: Mindblade
Wielding devastating psionic power, Mindblades focus on manipulating the battlefield and debilitating their opponents.Able to hold their own in battle, they are normally found far from the frontlines, demolishing their foes with psychic power.

#### Psionic Power
When you reach 3rd level, you are able to augment your martial prowess with psychic discipline. You gain a number of power points equal to your level.

##### Cantrips
You learn three cantrips: Mage Hand and two other cantrips of your choice from the mindblade power list. You learn another mindblade cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

##### Power Points
The Mindblade Powers table shows how many power points you have to cast your powers of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these powers, you must expend one power point. You regain all expended power points when you finish a long rest.

For example, when you are 7th level, you have seven power points. To cast the 1st-level power *magic missile*, you must spend one of those points, and you cast it as a 2nd-level power.

##### Powers Known of 1st Level and Higher
You know three 1st-level mindblade powers of your choice.

The Powers Known column of the Mindblade Powers table shows when you learn more mindblade powers of 1st level or higher. Each of these powers must be of a level which you can cast. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new power of 1st or 2nd level.

Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the mindblade powers you know with another power of your choice from the mindblade power list. The new power must be of a level which you can cast.

##### Spellcasting Ability
Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for your mindblade powers, since your power is based upon your mental prowess. You use your Intelligence whenever a power refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Intelligence modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a mindblade power you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier

#### Ambush the Mind
Starting at 3rd level, you may choose to have your sneak attack deal psychic damage instead of its normal damage type. Additionally, when you deal damage with a mindblade power or cantrip that targets one creature, you may spend 1 power point to deal your sneak attack damage.

#### Psionic Empowerment
Starting at 9th level, when you deal your sneak attack damage, you may spend up to 5 power points to increase its damage by 1d6 per power point spent. When you use this feature, your sneak attack deals psychic damage.

#### Mental Fortress
Beginning at 13th level, your mind is like a fortress, deflecting the worst of any mental damage you may receive. You may apply your Evasion class feature to Intelligence and Wisdom saving throws, in addition to Dexterity.

#### Break Mind
At 17th level, you know how to break a creature's mind, fragmenting its psyche like a shattered mirror. When you deal psychic damage with your sneak attack, you may force the target to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the target creature becomes stunned until the end of your next turn. You may use this feature once per short or long rest.
