### #42 - Hitchhiker's Guide to DND

Here are a few Douglas Adams inspired DND items.

#### Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster
*Potion, very rare*

This clear potion has a single zest of a lemon floating in it. When this potion is consumed you must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 5d8 Force Damage. If you succeed you have the following benefits for one hour.
- Advantage on Charisma Checks and Saving Throws
- +1 bonus to saving throws, ability checks, and attack rolls.
- 2 Lucky Points.

#### Babelfish
*Parasitic Creature, very rare*

The Babelfish is small, yellow, leech-like, and probably the oddest thing in the Universe. While acting as a symbiote for the Babelfish, you understand the literal meaning of any spoken language that you hear. Whenever you take psychic damage the Babelfish must succeed on a concentration check or it dies. The Babel fish as 12 (+1) Constitution.

#### Vogon Poetry
*Spell scroll, rare*

To cast this spell scroll, use an action to read its contents out loud. Everyone within a 30 feet radius that can hear must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw. On a success, nothing happens. On a failure, you must choose between falling unconscious* for 10d10 + 10 minutes, or taking 3d8 Psychic damage.

*Creatures that fall unconscious this way remain so until they take damage, or until another creature uses their action to jostle the unconscious creature to consciousness.

#### Finite Improbability Drive
*Structure, legendary*

This structure is presented as a large red button on top of a pedestal protruding from the ground. Behind the scenes can be arcane wires in the walls, thick metal sheeting protecting an entire tomb of arcane energy. When the button is pressed, all creatures within 60 feet of it are subjected to one collective roll on the Transportation Table and an individual roll on the Transformation table. Creatures are immediately teleported. Transformations last 1 hour, or until the creature is at 0 hit points in their new form, after which they revert to their normal forms at the hit points they had when transformed.
