### Shadow Hunter
The Shadowfell is a mirrored reflection of the material plane that weaves into it. It is a bleak, desolate place of decay and death where necrotic energies and shadow magic runs rampant. Devoid of life and light. Those who do look into it are never the same, leaving at the very least a mark of darkness somewhere on the body. Those who have peeked into this plane have been known to go completely insane, or even been sucked in never to return. At the very edges of the shadowfell, one can find the shadow drifters.

Originally founded by shadar-kai followers of the Raven Queen, they would take in volunteers or orphans, and teach them their abilities to protect the realm of the death goddess. Although with time, the organization became more independent.

Shadow hunters take the task of protecting civilization from the very dangers of the shadowfell that dwell in it. From nightwalkers to bodaks, and from banderhobb to specters. Where those who lose their will and give in to madness, they maintain their resolve.
