# Fairy

#### A tiny, humanoid creature with
butterfly wings flutters about the great hall of the keep. His high pitched giggles and gasps echo in the rafters as he alights on a the edge of a wine glass and charms the startled dinner guests. Poison tipped arrows catch the ankles of pillaging monsters as a bronze-skinned figure, cloaked in green leaves, emerges from the under growth accompanied by the grey mouse who lead her here...

### Fairy Names
Fairies will often take on the names of humans, elves, fey, and sometimes those of plants and trees. However, they may prefer to go by nicknames earned through experiences during their adolecense. For instance, a fairy that tames a bobcat as a mount might be dubbed 'Lynxleash.'

**Nicknames:** Antfighter, Beesting, Quake-Leaf, Mouserider, Snowburrow, Raindrop, Bark-Burst, Petalhelm.

### Shy, Playful, Mischievous.
Fairies resemble diminutive elves with delicate insect-like wings.
They carry the normal array of skin tones as well as light shades of any other color, and sometimes copper and bronze. Their eyes come in as many shades as their skin with irises like molten liquid. They may show small aspects of the insect family they share wings with, including antennae, fluff, or patches of hard, shiny, chitin. </br>Curious and shy, fairies go where they please. They like to spy and have a penchant for mischievous fun. There is no game a fairy will not play, and no revelry it will decline. Only a fairy's cautious fear of capture stays its curious impulses.
Fairies take great pride in their dress and array themselves like royalty and adventures alike; some favor sparkling
gowns, rippling silks, and shining armor while others wear acorns, leaves, bark, and the pelts of
tiny woodland beasts.

## Pixie

While the arrival of visitors piques
their curiosity, pixies are too shy to reveal themselves
at first. They study visitors from afar or play harmless tricks to
measure their reactions. Pixies might
tie a dwarf's boots together, or use dancing lights to lead
interlopers astray. If the visitors respond with hostility,
the pixies give them a wide berth. If the visitors are
good natured, the pixies are likely to be emboldened
and more friendly. The fey might even emerge and offer
to guide their "guests" along a safe route or invite them
to a tiny yet satisfying feast.

**Ability Score Improvement.** Charisma score to increase by 2.

**Pixie Invisibility.** You may cast Invisibility on yourself once at 2nd level without expending a spell slot.

**Superior Invisibility.** So long as you are invisible, your fairy dust is invisible as well, and does not cause disadvantage upon your Dexterity (Stealth) checks.

> ##### Sprite Slumber.
Effected creatures must succeed on a Constitution saving throw **(DC = 8 + Your intelligence modifier + Your proficiency bonus)** or be poisoned for 1 minute.

> A vial takes 1d4 hours to brew. As an action, the poison can be applied to up to three pieces of ammunition, or one slashing or piercing weapon. Once applied, the poison retains potency for 1 minute before drying.

## Sprite
Sprites build little villages in the boughs of trees and in verdant glades where wild nature thrives. For all their fey splendor, sprites lack warmth. Sprites take severe measures to ward strangers away from their homelands into which they allow no trespassers. Creatures foolish enough to persist into Sprite territory are stung with poisoned arrows and lulled into a senseless sleep.
